I have been coming to Mountain Dental Group for many years before covid. After moving back to Las Vegas in 2023 I started going back to this dental group. Tam Phanle, DMD is my new dentist there. He is absolutely amazing! Great bedside manners, calm, and keeps checking on you throughout your entire visit. While at the dentist for an onlay the machine broke down and they weren't able to complete my procedure. Knowing I'm an over-the-road truck driver and on home time for a few days, he cared enough about me to accommodate me at another dental office. I met him and his tech, John, at Fort Apache Dental about 20 minutes later where he was able to complete the full procedure. I am so grateful for this team! John was also amazing, so sweet and gentle. We had a couple laughs together as the onlay was very small and the tooth it was going on was on the top and very last tooth. Hard to get temporarily fit for an ex ray. I highly suggest this team and dental office. A specific thanks to Fort Apache Dental for accommodating us!

I had my first visit at Mountain Dental Group today and had such a great experience! Everyone in the office was very nice, welcoming, and helpful. They took the time to explain everything to me and made the whole visit feel comfortable.

Jason was my dental hygienist and he was amazing! He was very thorough and really took his time with my cleaning. I honestly don’t think I’ve ever had such a thorough cleaning before, and my teeth have never felt this clean!

I had a great experience at Mountain Dental Group on Blue Diamond. Everyone was friendly, professional, and made me feel comfortable throughout my visit.

John handled all of my pictures and was quick and efficient. Aylen helped me with the financing for my laser treatment and had a great personality. Dr. Tam gave me some really helpful advice on improving my dental hygiene.

Jason did my laser treatment and was awesome. He made me feel comfortable, showed me the areas I needed to work on, and even pulled up pictures and videos to help me better understand my gum health and what I could do to improve it.

Chassati was also great at checkout and helped get my next appointment scheduled.

Overall, great experience and an awesome team. I really appreciate John, Aylen, Dr. Tam, Jason, and Chassati for taking care of me!

Easy Peasy. My Exam went Well! Dr. Le always lets me know whats going on!! Then it is time for my Periodontal Cleaning! It is a tough job! Today was my first time visiting Mountain Dental Group, and I had an outstanding experience from start to finish. As soon as I walked in, the front desk crew greeted me immediately. Danny called me up and was incredibly friendly while helping me navigate the new patient and insurance paperwork.

After a very brief wait, Trisha called me back for X-rays. She was so friendly and made the process quick and easy.

When it was time for my exam, Dr. Yu checked my teeth and gave me the great news that everything looked good. She took the time to answer all of my questions and clearly walked me through my future dental plan.

It’s a great office with a highly professional, welcoming staff. Plus, they use Smile Generation, which makes it super convenient to track your visit details and upcoming appointments.

My wife has been here several times over the past few years. I will say she's never been upset with the quality of dental work she's received. However, their greedy pricing and lack of pricing transparency leaves you feeling like you got fleeced when you walk out the door. Want to get a routing cleaning that's fully covered by your insurance? Good luck, you'll likely end up paying $100+ for that. How about a crown, where your insurance will cover 50%? That'll be $800+ out of pocket. Just last year I got a crown from a dentist down the street from them and paid about 1/3 of what Mountain Dental charges. The funny thing is the office tries to make it look like you're getting a good deal as they rip you off. They literally told my wife that the normal price for the crown she was getting was $6000, but they were going to give her a "special" rate. And then, when she left the office she asked for an itemized breakdown of the charges and they said they couldn't provide that for at least a day. Why? Maybe they knew it would invite questions and scrutiny about their charges.

It's a shame this place can't just price their services fairly and appropriately. It seems like they are very profit driven, and they are always looking to upsell you on everything. And everything they sell is way overpriced. If cost doesn't matter to you, by all means give this place a try. But if it does matter, you can do much better.

I’m retired military and have seen dentists all over the country, but Dr. Yu and her team are one of, if not the best, dental offices I’ve ever been to. I decided to try Mountain Dental Group since they’re close to my house, and I’m really glad I did. They got me in for an initial checkup within a week and then scheduled my cavity filling and crown later that same week. The speed and flexibility were impressive.

On top of that, the entire office is extremely professional, efficient, and genuinely friendly. The front desk staff made everything easy, and I never had to wait long.

Tahani (dental assistant) was fantastic—very kind, personable, and made the whole experience comfortable. Dr. Yu is one of the best dentists I’ve had—highly knowledgeable, explains everything clearly, and has a great, reassuring demeanor.

You can tell this is a well-run office where people enjoy working, and that shows in the quality of care. Highly recommend.

I had a very disappointing experience with this office regarding basic customer care and common-sense health considerations. I called to reschedule an appointment because I was sick, and instead of any empathy or concern, I was immediately told there would be a cancellation fee with no exceptions. When I said I would just come in sick, I was told “OK,” which was honestly shocking.

I called back a second time hoping to speak with someone more understanding, but instead received a lengthy lecture rather than any effort to help or find a reasonable solution. While I was eventually told a one-time exception would be made due to my health, it took far too much effort to get there. The tone and approach were unnecessary, unprofessional, and unwarranted.

Patients understand that offices are busy - that was never the issue. The lack of compassion and basic professionalism was.

Policies are understandable, but how they are communicated matters. Compassion and professionalism should never be optional in healthcare.

Got my deep clean at Mountain Dental Group and Dr Wang was amazing. He showed me great flossing techniques and I felt like he really listened to all my concerns. He wasnt judgy and didnt pressure me into unnecessary treatment but he was very knowledgeable and I felt comfortable expressing my concerns as well. The dentist who cleaned my teeth was Jason. He was just as knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable and showed me the right techniques for brushing as well and recommended the right stuff to use to get my teeth and gums back to where they needed to be. This dental office is the best I’ve ever visited. The staff is phenomenal, and Dr. Perkins is incredibly knowledgeable and takes the time to explain everything during your visit. The entire office is spotless, and the pricing is reasonable. They also offer various financing options to accommodate your needs. Professional, Accommodating, Top-Notch facilities, I can’t say enough about the awesome experience at Mountain Dental clinic!

Dr Wang and his friendly staff went out of the way to squeeze me in for a deep cleaning with just a same day notice. I’m only in town for a short trip and they made it happen on the spot.

Walking in, the clinic is new, spotless, and buzzing with energy. The music is on point and everybody (patients and staff) walks around with a bounce in their step. Patient registration was seamless and took just a few minutes, same with the x rays.

The exam and following deep cleaning was painless and Dr Wang is super thorough in his explanation of the entire process.

10/10 will be back

This office is less than helpful. The front desk does not know how to check you into your appointment.

They are money hungry and do not know how to properly check your dental insurance benefits. They also do not know how to read insurance benefits that is clearing printed out in front of them!

Prior to my appointment I called to verify that they had my dental plan on file. They said that they would call and proceeded to tell me that I had no benefits outside of basic cleaning. I brought to the office my dental plan coverage and Patty at the front desk, said my dental insurance only covered until the age of 14. That they had already called my insurance and my medical is paired with my dental. Informed her I pay for my dental separate from my medical. She still insisted it didn’t cover anything and to call my insurance.

I called my dental plan and my insurance representative called the dental office to confirm that they did not call the right insurance number to verify coverage.

Stay away from this office that just tries to make you pay for services without checking your dental benefits!!!

I recieved a exam from Dr Yu and an indepth prophy from the hygenist, Jason on 5 Feb 2026.
Service was friendly, informative,and efficient as I've come to expect from Dr Yu and her staff. I'm 74 years old so have seen a number of dental offices over the years around the country and this is by far the best one I've recieved care from. Jason took care of my prophy, which was by far the best one ever. He took time to make sure the procedure was pain free, informative as to areas that needed attention, and how to address areas of concern.

So glad I found this dentist! I had an urgent tooth pain and I was able to be brought in with Dr. Yu right away. She was so knowledgeable, understanding and kind. She was able to address my issue and due to the in house root canal specialist, I had the procedure the next day! I am so thankful that I found this dentist office and the amenities they provide. First time visiting Mountain Dental Group and I’m beyond impressed. I called late yesterday afternoon needing a 7:00 AM–8:00 AM slot today because of a crazy schedule. They didn’t just fit me in, they crushed it.

Even as a new patient, the front desk was super thorough and had my admin work done in minutes. I got a full exam and a cleaning, and was checked out and out the door by 8:00 AM sharp. Dr. Yu is fantastic; she has a very steady, reassuring presence that immediately puts you at ease.

Friendly staff and doctor.
I scheduled for a second opinion, with verbalized expectations and TWO confirmed appointments one with the dentist, the other with the hygienist, a consultation and cleaning. After I was already evaluated and seated, I was told my cleaning would be rescheduled because an earlier appointment ran long.

I was later told this was to ensure all patients received adequate time and care, yet the result was that my care was deferred entirely while I was already present. As a healthcare professional myself, this approach to scheduling and prioritization was difficult to reconcile.

I had a great experience today at Mountain Edge Dental. I had a very easy check in with Chas, then with one minute the hygienist John who was super called my named and took me back for X Rays and then to the room where my cleaning was going to done. Within a few minutes Dr. Tam came in the room and asked me if I had any pain issues or other issues. I said actually I have a chipped front tooth that I would like fixed. After my cleaning Dr. Tam worked on my front tooth and made it look perfect. I was very happy with the way I was treated today. A+++++ all the way.

From the moment you walk in, the front desk team Chas, Patty, and Danny - make you feel welcomed and at ease. They’re friendly, organized, and set the tone for a really positive visit.

My hygienist Michelle is amazing! Extremely thorough, gentle, and great at explaining everything. She makes the experience comfortable and stress-free every time.

Today Dr. Tam worked on my teeth and did a great job. Professional, calm, and precise! I felt completely taken care of. I’ve also seen Dr. Wang and Dr. Yu, and all three doctors are excellent. You can tell they genuinely care about their patients and take pride in their work.

I had an appointment last saturday for a procedure however it was rescheduled due to physicians schedule which is understandable due to holidays. procedure was costly. Office had advised me if I donated to toy drive they would discount me the procedure to make it affordable for me. I came in today and promotion had ended after i was reacheduled on their end which i was not notified however Danny (staff) from office continued to discount despite of promotion ending. I had a very poor experience due to a nurse who did not appear to be properly trained to take X-rays. The treatment provided led to additional complications rather than improvement. It was concerning that the focus seemed to be on financial gain rather than patient well-being. Changed to another dental.

Wonderful team and everyone has great sense of humor! Stephanie and Dr Conrad and Jay were very thorough and amazing . Michelle, Chaz, Jocelyn, and Zeek are also very fun to work with and of course welcoming. I've been going to this office for 3 years now, however I never took the time to write a review until now. I couldn’t be happier with my experience at this Dental Office. From the moment I walked in, the staff was warm and welcoming, making me feel right at home.

The day before Thanksgiving my crown fell off, and this office was able to get me in that same day to glue it back on so I could get through the holiday. They scheduled me to come back on Monday to properly fix the crown, and then I returned on Tuesday for my yearly check-in and cleaning, so everything was taken care of very quickly.

From the front of the house to the back, everyone was great. The front office staff was excellent with communication and made scheduling and check-in really easy. In the back, Dr. Yu, Michelle, Trish, and Allaina were all professional, kind, and patient throughout the whole process. I really appreciated how well the entire team took care of me during a stressful time.
