Nathan Isaac Richards, DO was born and raised in Beavercreek, Oh. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at Touro University Nevada – School of Osteopathic Medicine in Henderson, NV. He completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at Genesys Regional Medical Center in Grand Blanc, Michigan, affiliated with Michigan State University. He was named Chief Orthopedic Resident during the program. He then participated in a prestigious ACGME-accredited orthopedic sports medicine fellowship at the Detroit Medical Center, in Detroit, Michigan. During his fellowship, he had the opportunity to participate in team coverage for the Detroit Red Wing Team.

Dr. Nathan Richards at At Bone & Joint has been an incredible resource for me over the years. After breaking my clavicle, I needed someone I could trust to keep a close eye on my recovery and long-term health—and he’s done exactly that.
He’s knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely cares about his patients. He always takes the time to explain what’s going on and makes sure I feel comfortable with my treatment and progress. It never feels rushed, and I always leave feeling confident that I’m in good hands.

Dr. Richard is a caring doctor. He explained what my knee replace surgery entails. I am very happy with his service and the service of the staff in his clinic. His clinic arranged for the Home Care Physical Therapy for me. I also had great care at the Valley Hospital where Dr. Richards does his surgery. All in all I feel
blessed to have a competent, ,caring physician the wonderful support I received after my surgery. When I needed more pain medication, Dr. Richard took care of it right away after I called. I don’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone who needs his service.
