This company is on my portal as being in network with my insurance, I called to verify they do take my insurance, which they confirmed, so I made an appointment. It was unfortunately two months out, but I waited. A day before the appointment they called me to tell me they verified my insurance and it is supposedly not accepted. I called my insurance to verify and they did indeed say I WAS in network with this company. When I tried to call the office back they told me it would be a self pay appointment because my chart had already been notated as not in network. At this point I don't even want to give it anymore of my time or money and will go elsewhere. Garbage customer service.

This place is a hard pass for me. Meadows eye refered me to New Eyes. They requested I fill out paperwork online. Gave my Medicare supplement Medicare online. Filled out phone, email, etc,
I arrive 10 minutes early 4 ladies behind the counter three are laughing and chatting one is on the phone. One of them turns around I'm holding my cards in my hand she says you need to use the keyosk okay. Such a lovely warm welcome kind Of like swatting a fly away lol yes I was the fly. Keyosk asks all the same questions I filled out online. Plus scanning my cards. Had a problem with the supplemental card went to the desk she said she can take it. The keyosk saved none of the info I had put in and had to do it again. I did. At the very end the screen says today's appointment will be 292.00 mind you this is just a consult. So I go to the desk again and tell them it says 292.00 but I have Medicare and a supplement plan N which I should only have a 20.00 copay. One lady looks up at me like ‍I don't know. The other just stares at me. No answer means I'm canceling my appointment. Sorry Dr. Lam. But the New Eyes "we couldn't be bothered front desk ladies" were as far as I was going to go with this office. Now if one of them just would have said oh let me check on that for you. I'm sure they would have seen my insurance would have covered it. So Dr.Lam these lladies are costing you patients.

Had cataracts removed and also lasix surgery on both eyes, paid cash, VERY EXPENSIVE, but I felt the outcome was great. Everyone was nice, until my 6 month check up, they informed me that I had to pay an astronomical price, which I was told was part of the procedure as follow up. So another words, they just wash their hands of you, and wish you good luck! To me, not a great customer service, after such a high amount of monies paid. It’s like they want you as a patient, and want to watch the progress, until they no longer want to follow through with their commitment. However, come up with more money and they all of a sudden have a new found interest in you. It takes nothing to exam your eyes, this is the least they could do. Happy with the surgery, not with the follow up.

Dr Austin shows concern for his patients. His staff is always kind explaining the pre-exam as it occurs. They go over changes in medication, general complaints, and any noticeable changes in eyesight. Dr Austin gave me the most complete exam and then explained the results and answered my questions. I liked the doctor very much/ Dr. GIibson was very knowledgeable. The girl who.put in my drops didnt wash her hands or use gloves and frankly I wish she would have at least use sanitizer as she touched door handles and everything (computer, pen and paper ect.) in the office including my upper and lower lids. She also didnt clean anything before nor after she used it on me. Like the black eye block you hold to look though. I mentioned this to the doctor and he didnt think it was necessary either. Sadly I want only clean hands to touch me and bacteria and pink eye virus can linger anywhere. I got pink eye once from an eye doctor's office. I just wish this was important to them but it wasnt.

Met w Dr M yesterday. She is amazing!! She explained everything thoroughly, went over pictures of my eye balls, showed me pictures of my eye balls with a comparison of normal eyeballs. She is incredibly bright, friendly and was on time. Her PA Geoff is amazing as well. I have not had my surgery yet, but I am incredibly impressed w Dr M, Geoff and the entire staff at New Eyes. I highly recommend this practice because everyone at the front desk is pleasant and professional. The providers are all knowledgeable and well educated in this field. I had my cataract surgery a year ago and everything went well. I have been seeing Dr Austin for every follow up visit after my surgery. When my Appointment was made I informed the office I had an appointment at 9 am I was told no problem but upon arriving I waited a little longer than I thought I told the reception I needed to be seen soon. Everything in clinic is good. The only problem is to make an appointment for next service. That is a system problem. The nurse in clinic could not make an appointment for me because the system did not accept the time interval that is over some limit though my Doctor suggest it.

There has got to be a conspiracy going on here. I've been to two New Eyes locations (Southwest is the other one), and both offices are just, so extremely nice, and very human-centric. I've said the same about their Southwest location in another review as well. Not to mention, Dr. Reddy! He's at both locations, which is why I came to the Green Valley one. Speaking of locations, they have several and I think (as part of the conspiracy), they knew ahead of time my location and thought to build ones closer. The convenience is unreal! The availability of their Dr's, especially Dr. Reddy, is unreal! My first visit with Dr. Reddy was just 3 days ago, for dry eyes. My second visit was just the next day, and it was for a possible Corneal Abrasion, which I'm happy to say (thanks to Dr. Reddy), was a simple object intrusion. What made it all magical was how Dr. Reddy simply made himself available to see me because of my situation, and get this...he squeezed me in right after performing surgery! That in itself spoke so much volume to me!

And then there's his staff. One in particular, Kelli (last name hidden to keep this awesome lady safe)! Yes...awesome! She would go to bat for you, and also above and beyond! The combination of her and Dr. Reddy makes an absolutely lethal [and I mean that in the most awesome way] TEAM! Literally, the next morning, I immediately messaged Dr. Reddy's Team and she replied FAST. I had some issues with my Work Insurance and she humanely assured that no matter what, my Rx would be taken care of, even if that meant going to the generic brand. She also made sure that Dr. Reddy and I were able to connect for my possible Corneal Abrasion! A huge thank you to Kelli and with the most adoration!!

Dr. Reddy! Thank you for being awesome! Thank you for being welcoming, warm, and personable! As-well-as being their for me and my eye issues! I will always be grateful to you and will go to only you!

I had an urgent issue with my eyes and they worked hard to have me seen by Dr. Austin DO the same day. After a thorough exam, it turned out I needed to see a retina specialist. But I did learn today that my corneal specialist will not no longer be with the company anymore because she’s moving abroad. Front desk help very supportive and friendly pretesting evaluation technician made the process easy next next meeting with Dr. Pizio. She immediately was able to see what was needed for me and without even asking, answered several questions I had with regards to options and pricing no pushing or rushing to get anything done in my case as my condition was not critical, extremely friendly doctor and a feeling of knowledge and experience I have six months to decide she did say look into this within a year and this is how I will approach it. Very good at explaining eye conditions and treatments, at paying careful attention to how eyes are responding to treatment, and very careful and detailed testing and observation. New Eyes has been monitoring my eyes for a few years now. They did quick laser surgery a few years ago to reduce potential for glaucoma and when my cataracts worsened they explained options available to my particular case. I opted for near-vision lenses in both eyes so there would be little change to how I use my glasses and read. I am very happy with my vision now.

I am a New Eyes patient and went today to get an oculoplastics consultation with Dr. Hildebrand. This was for a purely cosmetic procedure, meaning I would pay cash. When I got there the office was packed with people on top of one another. After waiting about 15 minutes, I asked how long it would be and was told about an hour and a half. I canceled and left. First of all, there were no emergency patients there and second of all there are only so many oculoplastics procedures, so these people were there either for consultations or follow ups. I would never trust my surgery to an office that can't even manage its schedule.

Appointment was at nine. Wasn’t called until 9:40. While I understand that things happen and sometimes there are delays, what I don’t appreciate are the four people sitting at the reception desk, not engaging with the individuals in the waiting room and letting them know there was a delay and perhaps apologizing for the delay. When I approached to ask how long the delay was I was met with was a look of “ How dare you”. Not a single smile in the place. What time?

On the other hand, Dr. Reddy entered the room with a smile and a greeting.

All it really takes is for someone to acknowledge they recognize there’s an issue and apologizing for it. Hiding behind your computer screen and pretending like we’re not sitting in the waiting room isn’t the answer.

If I could give zero stars, I would. This company has the most incompetent billing system I’ve ever dealt with. I was charged incorrectly, and despite reaching out multiple times, nothing has been resolved. Instead of fixing their mistake, they kept giving me the runaround with excuses and unhelpful answers. I have been coming to New Eyes for 6-8 months. I usually go to the location off of Pecos. I have been a T1D since 2000 and I have so many health issues as a result, one of them being Diabetic Retinopathy ( I also go to Retina Consultants of NV for treatment, Dr. Maninna rocks). New Eyes is insanely clean, has comfortable waiting areas and the staff is wonderful. The ladies that help check in/check out are gems and a wonderful representation of the quality of this practice. Dr. Moghaddampour is professional, empathetic , carries herself well and succeeds at doing everything she can to help with whatever it is you are dealing with your eyes. She identified an issue with my optic nerve and ordered blood tests, MRI and referred me to a neurologist ophthalmologist for further help. The staff at the Pecos office was very helpful and professional from the reception desk to the technicians and schedulers as well as Dr. Pizio. I have cataract surgery scheduled on both eyes and look forward to better vision. My only complaint is that I arrived for my 9:05 appointment about 10 minutes early and was called back for testing promptly. After about 15 minutes of tests, I sat in a waiting room for far too long. I walked out of the clinic about 12:15. Over three hours for my appointment was excessive. Perhaps I was just there on a very busy day. Nevertheless, scheduling needs to be evaluated.

I wanted a prescription for eye glasses, was informed that I have small cataracts. And told They Don't deal in glasses. I Don't want surgery, just a script for glasses.
Did Not get one, only an invitation to get surgery.
To "me" they R pushing "A cataract Industry". The Federal Trade Commission has the " Eyeglass Rule". Which states they must, even without asking Provide a prescription for eyeglasses after an exam. Left refusing surgery and empty handed, even though I asked for a prescription

They provide a very very thorough examination of you eyes. Unfortunately, I had one a week ago at my old doctors office that New Eyes wouldn’t use so I had pay ($130.90) for theirs. My insurance only pays for one a year, sadly. But the good news is I was able to compare theirs to my previous doctor and there was a big difference. New Eyes checked a lot more things and had more fancy machines. I felt like when we were done, they really knew my eyes and what issues I had.
The only improvement I would suggest is modernizing the paperwork process, it is very arduous and redundant. But a lot of medical offices haven’t kept up with the times on paperwork. One day, maybe they will all be automated and be able to share information quickly with each other. I had hand cramps by the time I was done, arrive early for your first appointment, you’ll need the time. And, you won’t forget your birthdate because you’ll write it down 20 times.

Dr. Pizio performed lens replacement surgery on my right eye this past week. I was so scared going into the procedure, but I knew I had to have it done. As it turned out, there was no reason in the world for me to have been so scared! The whole procedure was efficient and absolutely painless. I recently had cataract surgery at New Vision. The surgery portion was great. Quick, painless, and no problems. I do however have 2 serious complaints.
First, I was told by all the doctors who examined me before and after surgery, that if i chose the distance viewing lens, I would only need a pair of drug store glasses. With these glasses, I can read text 12 to 18 inches from my eyes, but, from about 18" to 6 feet everything is blurry. When i eat, the food is out of focus, my hands are out of focus, and most significantly, I can't do my work on my computer, because i can't read the text on the screen.
Second, when i realized that i am going to buy some new glasses, i asked for a prescription and was told that i need to go to an optometrist to get one. After the surgery I had one thorough eye exam and test, plus I had several other exams and i cannot see a reason why New Eye could not provide a lens prescription. I have no idea how much Medicare and my supplement insurance paid for the whole procedure, but it is frustrating to have to spend another $150 for a perspiration on top of $500 for new glasses. I should have been told all this before the procedure when i could have made different decisions.

Preparation for surgery was thorough. Check off sheets for eye drop schedules were even provided. The surgery was quick and painless. I opted for the distance lenses and now I can even read without glasses (for long term reading I use 2.5s from the drug store). From the time I signed in to the time that I left everyone was exceptional I have never been to a doctors office where there has been so much professionalism the care and concern of their patient from Jasmina to Dr. hildebrand to my surgery scheduler I forgot her name but she was wonderful too from the front Desk to the back office Everyone was amazing I wish and I pray That this facility and the people who work there never change there are countless of other doctors offices that should follow suit and get educated on how this office operates words cannot even express how phenomenal they are and I mean that wholeheartedly. Bar none this office is top notch not to mention how clean everything is and how you notice each and every individual who works there continuously sanitize their hands very cognizant of their patients Dr. hildebrand he deserves a standing ovation and the staff as well this is what you call top-of-the-line care and concern

Dr. Auston is a very caring provider. I have been seeing him for years and so did my mother till she passed. Same can be said for Dr. Pizzio.
