I saw Dr. Jeremy Wood and he spent about 10 minutes with me. He didn't even take the time to really listen when I told him that my foot hurts badly. I'm diabetic and he gave me a shot to calm the nerves and it did nothing. He wanted me to come back in two weeks to pick up some antifungal medicine. I felt unheard and rushed. I left his office after having the numbing shot still in so much pain and feeling horrible. He should listen to his patients and not tell anyone what they feel isn't real. I will never return. By 5he way I wasn't late. My appointment was at 11am and I was early. You are talking about the wrong person.

I have suffered with the discomfort of flat feet for many many many years and my ankle not aligning straight which also caused much discomfort to my legs. I was recommended to Dr Wood and I am so thankful I was. Immediately he was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and you can tell how much he truly loves his job with the positive energy he shows to each and every one of his patients. He is the same every appointment I have with him with his upbeat and happy attitude.

I got my first procedure done by him almost 2 weeks ago and the results that happened immediately are so exciting! I can’t wait to get my left one done once the right one heals fully. My healing journey has also been much easier than I expected. I can’t recommend Dr. Wood enough!

My very 1st visit . The receptionist was extremely very rude. Lost for words. I was just about to ask my kids let’s get the hell out of here. But decided to stick it out and meet the doctor and relate to him the nasty attitude of the receptionist that I didn’t deserve. Well guess what? The Doctor himself DrWoood walks in and right away rushing me to ask why are we here for ? I was still so angry of the way I was treated when entered the facility, I just wanted to let him know that I’m not feeling very well about the way your staff greeted me in my initial 1st time visit with my kids. Well guess again, I guess I was talking to the wall. Dr wood wasn’t interested whatsoever .the way I was treated. It went in one ear and out n the other . How can I be angry at a unprofessional receptionist when the doctor himself cannot even say I’m sorry that you were treated in such a manner. What a waste of a visit and right down shameful..

Terrible place to go my appointment for my 18month old was for 11:15am waiting in the small waiting area very small area until 11:45am and still didn't get seen no one said hey the doctor is behind nothing wow ridiculous and it took me 20min to the office and back to my house never agin.

I recently visited this foot doctor, and while he was polite, my overall experience was disappointing. After receiving a shot in my foot during the visit, I noticed significant bruising two days later. Unfortunately, this left me feeling uneasy, and I decided not to return for further treatment.

I finally made an appointment for my ingrown toe nails that have been hurting for the last few years. I saw Dr. Averett. He was very nice and professional. I loved his personality and enjoyed talking with him during my appointment. I felt like I could trust him. (And he was cute too!) Thanks doctor!

Update: I’m not changing my rating because I don’t know if this is the doctors fault. I got my ingrown toenail removed in May 2022. My right toe took 9 month to completely heal. In January 2023 it turned almost black in color. The color went away after a week. Since then, I have had a painful piece of nail growing where my nail was supposed to be removed. I moved out of state, otherwise I would have come in for a follow up. I suspect I will need a follow up surgery to fix it.

Dr Averett and his staff are fantastic. Very friendly and efficient, always courteous. The office is clean and almost no wait time. I've never had a beer experience with a Dr. They are truly top shelf I highly recommend them. Thanks to Dr. Averett and his staff you always help me.

It's a small doctor office. I was referred by SW Medical to Dr. Averett. He is an extremely nice man, very sympathetic and truly wants to get you feeling top notch.
Explained what was wrong and showed me via the cd I brought in. Sent me home with excercises to try for a few weeks before we go the cortisone route by my next follow up.
Their 2 member office staff was also professional and nice as well. Not excited about a shot in the foot, but at least itll be from a very caring doctor!

I Came in to have my right toe (ingrown toe nail )removed & month later had to have my left toe nail removed completely !! Dr. James was amazing & took great care of me along with his staff getting me Scheduled ASAP ! I highly recommend
