I have been taking my four kids here for the past two years and I am now looking for a new Pediatrician. Initially, the reason why I chose his office was because I wanted a Doctor my kids could grow old with. Unfortunately, this is not it. As a mother of four kids who two of which had disabilities such as autism and ostomy care for majority of this time mind you, and on top of that a mother who just finished her nursing degree... I can have a very busy schedule. With this being said, they will send you letters telling you they are withdrawing as your pediatrician if you miss appointments. At first, I was understanding of course, but then it got to a point where they would want follow ups and because I knew their policy I would ask to wait to schedule follow ups but I am not sure if the office made appointments for me or if they sent me another letter to withdrawal just because I never scheduled the follow up? Either way after the first time this happened I wrote a letter and asked them to reconsider but I am now realizing it's only matter of time before it was going to happen regardless. Who wants to build a relationship with pediatricians like this anyways. Pros, they are knowledgeable Doctors. If you do not have a busy schedule or multiple kids then yes, I would recommend. Cons, they lack heart. It feels like patients are just a paycheck and they will drop you at any second. So if you have a busy schedule then I would not recommend this provider. This is for you to decide, I just felt I had to share my experience.

I’ve been taking my oldest here for about 4 years and now take my toddler. I cannot stand the front staff. They are beyond rude on multiple occasions. From scheduling conflicts to mask issues. This is my last straw. I waited in the back office for over an hour. No “I’m sorry for the long wait” nothing. This office needs to get their stuff together.

Update. I have found a new drs office. Do not go here. It’s just trashy and unprofessional.

I love Dr. Oshiro and Dr. Hom! We have been taking our children here for over 10 years and they have always been amazing. Their front staff always answers their phone ( which is huge in my book because many doctor offices do not) and they take care of things in a timely manner. I had an issue with insurance and the pharmacy, and their staff did every they could to make sure my son had his prescriptions. We live about 30 minutes or so from their office, but I will continue to see Dr. Oshiro and Dr. Hom because they are amazing! Thank you Doctors’ and the staff for all you do!

I just love Dr. Hom and Dr. Oshiro. They are always so patient to explain everything well to us. They are caring about the kids, so they are helping the kids to develop a healthy lifestyle and not just making treatment when things goes wrong. They can always use their expertise and experience to relieve my nervousness about the kids. I feel so lucky to have them as my kids’ pediatrics.

Dr. Hom was PCP of my children. She is a good doctor and the other doctor in the office too. My issue with this office is.. they sent a recommendation letter to change pcp if I missed an appointment. The problem is they sent a letter like I was a no-show or canceled an appointment on the same day. I always reschedule a head if I had to. Last time, I was on the way and got into a minor car accident. I was going to be late so I called them and let them know what was going on with me. So as soon as I got this letter, I changed my kids' PCP. It was 3rd letter they sent. So I did it as they recommended.

I’ve been bringing my kids to this office since they were born so for over 13 years now. Everyone is so helpful and attentive. I can honestly say my kids have seen every provider available and I’ve never had an issue with anyone. I always recommend this office to my friends and family and love that they offer same day appointments if available and short wait times

El mejor de todos oshiro confio mucho en su experiencia y es muy dedicado con sus pacientes siempre estudia y hace todos los análisis correspondientes se asegura de descartar todo tipo de problemas no se le pasa ningun detalle es muy apasionado con su trabajo . We've been going to Oshiro's for 5 years and both my kids have had the best experience! My son had a very rough start in life and requires a lot medically. The providers here have been able to explain everything very thoroughly, have had great medical advice, and referred plenty of great specialists when it was necessary. My kids love going here and the staff recognize my kids by name. The staff actually seems to enjoy working here too. Sometimes the wait is a little long, but it's clearly because the providers take time with each patient they see. The entire staff is absolutely amazing.

People rating 1's need to be realistic, not dramatic. It's odd to me that a parent could be upset about their doctor being concerned about their kid like its not their job. I was on a waiting list to get into this office and I'm happy I finally did. I've never had a doctor that takes his time with the kids, asks questions and offers extra information. I'd rather know the truth than regret it later because I don't want my feelings to get hurt. He always gives the honest truth for the child's best interest.

They are the worst and dont care about the kids they only care about themselves as a practice.
They made many mistakes with my son and I never held it against them but when I'm running late from emergencies they want to ban him. They are never crowded or too busy to see a kid. I would not recommend anyone to this doctors office.

My 2 boys were seen by Dr Oshiro. My older son felt uncomfortable with him because of his demeanor and felt like he was insulting him on his weight. It was difficult for me to get him to an appt for that reason. My youngest never had any issues and never missed an appt. I received a letter stating that my oldest was not able to be seen again in 2019. My youngest however was still seen there and up til 2021 for his last set of shots. Today while trying to make an appt for my youngest I was notified that he cannot be seen based on a letter sent in 2019. I explained that he was seen in 2021 in their office and it doesn’t make sense. She said yes she sees that but still can’t make an appt. The letter was to my whole family. It was really rude and unprofessional to lie to me and to just treat people like that. He’s a weird person anyway, so I guess for the best!!

Had been going with dr. Oshiro since my son born when he turned 3 months I noticed that of his eyes were to much in to his inner corner. I told Dr oshiro 3 different appointments after and he always told “people are going to tell things to scare you. Baby is ok” I told him I’ve noticed it and he could assure me that it wasn’t true. Took my baby to anther pediatrician for a second opinion and right away they noticed his eye with out me mentioning it. My baby now has an app with an eye specialist. I don’t recommend Dr. Oshiro. He wants people in out of his office and doesn’t care about his patients. He tríes to compare our concerns to weird situations and seems to jump off topic. Always left me very confused.

I honestly recommend this office for you children's care. I have not had an bad experience at all and my children have been seeing them for many years, two of them since birth. When my two youngest where born they went everyday to the hospital to check on my children. My children have seen Dr. Hom, Dr. Oshiro, and CPNP Cerdan and have had amazing experiences. The staff is always so friendly as well.

If your not comfortable with giving your daughter vaccinations. Don’t I repeat Don’t come or call here because they will deny you. I don’t understand what kind of doctor would pressure you into wanting to poke your child with all those different kinds of chemicals. This is a horrible place and they discriminate.

I got so lucky that Dr. Oshiro was the pediatrician at the hospital that my newborn son met, after I met Dr. Oshiro i decided to give his practice a try and I met CPNP Cerdan.
CPNP Cerdan has been an extrarordinary at my child's health and professional, She dedicated time in listening to my concerns and made sure I understood, been a 1st time mom I had many questions and CPNP CPNP Cerdan had little to no spanish words in her vocabulary and she dedicated time to learn another language which made me feel more comfortable with my child seeing her. I think it is pivotal in understanding the culture and language of your patients, I am bilingual but for me it was important that my child learned my language, CPNP Cerdan just made it easier for my child to communicate with her.
My son is soon to be 11 years old and I am still bringing him to this clinic even though I have to drive across town to get in on time. The only complain I have is the office could need some work done on the walls even the furniture but that is not my priority or the reason for my reviews.

My daughter has been going to oshiro pediatrics since she was a month old she's almost 10 now. I love that when she's sick I can always get a same day or next day appointment. when I leave a message for a provider I always get a phone call back at the end of the day. Dr oshiro and Dr cerdan are so patient with my child which makes my child feel comfortable which eases her fear of seeing a doctor

Ive been coming here for 5 years. And its been a total blessing. No long wait times and both dr. Oshiro and Hom are amazing. From circumsisions to eye sight to the common cold they have always answered my questions and have helped keep all 3 of my boys healthy. They have seen my kids since birth and I'm telling you, they really know what they're doing. I would say they are big on being there on time! I was late once and stayed there for hours. But! Every other time its been in and out. For a busy mom of 3, its perfect. Also Dr. Oshiro has something about eye contact when explaining things. I thought he was being rude at first but with the years Ive realized its just his personality, he closes his eyes like if hes picturing the situation in his head. I noticed beacause he did this during my boys circumsition as like a focus technique and all 3 circumsitions have been SO GREAT! I do recommemed this office 100% . decor is also a little outdated. But that has nothing to do with the service. Lol

I was referred to this doctor from my obgyn for my 5th child. I took it upon myself to transfer all my 4 kids over. I’ve been with this doctor for 3 years and of all the visit I’ve only had him see my kids 4 times. I would always request for PNP Cerdan. She was the only one who shows she cares about my kids health and makes eye contact and always has a smile. If it wasn’t for her I would of never gone to this place. This doctor Andrew Oshiro has been by far the worst Pediatric Doctor I have ever had. Who BANS a patient because of being late a couple of times? We live 45mins away from this office and it’s not easy to get there without having to deal with traffic. This is beyond anything I have ever heard of. Wow if you are looking for a pediatrician please avoid going here. This doctor is not concern about you or your family, he only cares about his time and money.

Dr. Oshiro is uncouth. Terrible bedside manner and communication skills. He also doesn't make eye contact OR talks to you with his eyes closed. (Very odd) It's a drag because Dr. Hom is so nice. The office staff is terrible at getting back to you. Sometimes you have to call several times to get a reply. I would NOT recommend this office.

I've brought all five of my kids here. They do a great job. I would give five stars, but the appointment nurse or whoever is in charge of that never answers or they say they will call you back, then don't. So you sometimes need to call a few times to get an appointment.

Dr. Hom is the best pediatrician doctor I have ever seen! She is so caring and understanding all the issues we have with babies and kids. She listens to all of your concerns and give you proper advices in every visit without rushing you out of the room. She has such a good manner to communicate with parents and kids and I just love her. Sometime the front office may not be too friendly or the billing department would not make the correct charges and it could be frustrated sometime but I am willing to stay because of Dr. Hom! She is the best in town and with gentle heart to all her patients :).

Eu amo ter o Dr Oshiro como pediatra dos meus dois filhos. Mesmo sem falar inglês ele e toda sua equipe tem muita paciência comigo e o cuidado que ele tem com a saúde das crianças é maravilhoso. Ele cuida do meu filho caçula dês de que nasceu e deu toda atenção pois meu pequeno ficou amarelinho por mais de uma semana e teve problemas com lactoses e o Dr deu assistência e acompanhou a melhora dele passando exames e ligando do cel particular, ele estimulou a amamentação e aconselhou uma dieta para mim. Achei maravilhoso pois o meu primeiro filho teve os mesmos problemas e o Outro Pediadra não deu muita atenção e foi muito difícil cuidar do meu filho, e ao contrário do Dr Oshiro o outro Pediadra passava fórmula dês de que meu filho estava no hospital e eu tinha muito leite e não dei fórmula não e seguir meu instinto materno e cuidei do meu filho só. Quando conheci o Dr Oshiro no hospital assim que meu segundo filho nasceu eu já notei uma grande diferença e sem duvida eu troquei de pediatra. Hoje estou muito feliz de tê-lo como médico dos meus dois filhos e com fé em Deus do terceiro filho que já estou planejando pro próximo ano ☺️💕.

The assistant she was unfriendly rude👂👍 and the pediatric he pushed my 4 years boy in the stomach rough when he wanted to take my boy clothes off for his physical and I told him I was going better to take my boy with a different soft sweet nice pediatric, as I saw him pushing rough at my kid in the stomach. 👎👍

The front desk associates are unprofessional and very on organized I sat there for an hour just for them to tell me they don't take new patients without approval from the doctor. I have never seen a practice run so inefficiently I would not recommend this place to anyone
