The office was very professional, I was taken back almost right away. Took a while to fill out question form, but as soon as I finished the nurse set me up of a EKG. Right after that Dr. Ivey came in. We talked for at least 30 minutes, she didn't rush me. Very professional and knowledgeable.....she is the top Cardologist around. I would highly recommend her.

Dr Ivey and medical staffs are great. The reason I rate 3 star due to the appointments. When I checked out and need to be scheduled for the next visit in a year. The front desk told me that they don’t have the schedule out that far and will call me in 10 months. When they call me 10 month later they said that the doctor won’t be available in 3 or 4 more months. So we could not see the doctor in 12 month but 15 to 16 months later. I don’t see why they cannot schedule me ahead like other doctors’s offices. I don’t know if the doctors know about this problem. I hope this problem will be solved soon.

Review of Siena Clinic Cardiology Suite 331, Henderson

I had an 11:30 a.m. appointment with Raedell A. Deleon-Valdez, MSN, at Siena Clinic Cardiology Suite 331. I checked in three minutes late, having waited behind the "wait here" line while the front-end staff ignored me, seemingly absorbed in whatever was on their screens. After I was finally acknowledged and showed my ID, I was told I was checked in and took a seat.

Twenty minutes later, another patient—visibly upset—approached the desk to ask about delays, which made me wonder if there was a larger issue. Ten minutes after that, I asked if I’d been properly checked in. The staff confirmed I had and said they’d alerted the back. Another ten minutes passed. At this point—40 minutes in—I approached the front desk again, more firmly. They now seemed to be taking things seriously, making calls and promising to get me seen.

Ten minutes later, someone came out, only to disappear again. The front desk called after her while glancing nervously in my direction. Finally, after a 55-minute wait, I was called back—but the nurse who brought me in admitted she wasn’t the one assigned to me. I told her I had another appointment soon and might need to leave. She was kind and efficient, but the real issue remained unaddressed. She did mention that the person who was supposed to see me had gone to lunch.

Eventually, well over an hour after my scheduled appointment time, I was seen by Dr. Pamela Ivey. She was kind, professional, and efficient—completely unaware of the delays I had experienced. She quickly recommended I reduce my medication dosage—something I had called about prior to the appointment, which could have been addressed without all the confusion and waiting.

No one explained what went wrong. No one told me why the provider I was scheduled with was at lunch instead of with me. I saw two other patients treated similarly. That doesn’t just feel disorganized—it feels disrespectful.

I had to call and delay my next appointment. Because that’s what adults do when something comes up: they communicate. That is the bare minimum. I’m tired of seeing front-line staff deflect responsibility onto systems or software. Even if it’s not your personal fault, it is still your responsibility to show professionalism and basic human regard to the patients in front of you.

To top it off, while I was waiting, staff at the front desk were watching and sharing videos on their phones—completely disengaged. There was no curiosity, no initiative, no urgency.

You asked for a review. This is it. You didn’t do well. Mistakes happen—we all understand that. But integrity is about owning them and making things right. No one did.

I realize this review was meant for Dr. Ivey, but the issue was broader. Dr. Ivey was great, and so was the nurse who stepped in to help me—clearly out of her area and element, but doing her best. Five stars for each of them. This feedback is about the system and the staff that left patients feeling like afterthoughts (no stars).

What happened to Raedell A. Deleon-Valdez? I hope he had a wonderful lunch and didn't have to wait long for a table or to be served (no stars for his lack of awareness).

Online checkin worked well. Office waiting room was almost empty. I was called promptly at appointment time. The nurse who took my blood pressure and did an EKG was kind and professional.
