DRY COUGH: At urgent care, I am very fortunate that Dr. Patricia Lacsina was assigned to treat me. She prescribed 5 medications. Although the only one I heard of was Allegra, Dr. Lacsina's easy-to-read, 5-page report I received at the end clarified everything for me. It was certainly a testament to her utmost competence & thoroughness. And I'll take a direct, no-nonsense, knowledgeable doctor EVERY TIME, thank you. Think of the movie, Cactus Flower, co-starring Ingrid Bergman as Nurse Dickinson. Thanks to Dr. Lacsina, Nurse Dickinson's understudy, I now know I'm well on my way to recovery from my 3-week lingering dry cough.

Saw Patricia Lacsina, MD yesterday regarding a problem transferring medication from a pharmacy via an ER prescription. I recognized her from two years prior with a connotation of a negative visit but, i felt like that had no bearing on what I needed to say. Furthermore, she was deemed the most in-charge or head honcho. She was so curt and she basically dismisses my concerns, wouldn't prescribe me the medication that I went in for and ended(now a day later) up getting a second-line treatment from the other present doctor regarding the same(prescription-relevant treatment) thing that treats what I needed/received from prescribing emergency room doctor. I saw another review here basically iterating the same thing, she rushed me and was really rude. I honestly also felt like she was borderline trolling me, I called back after expecting a phone call and one of the updated bloodwork results was saying, "eat bananas," like, seriously? How can medical professionals keep a straight face down-playing the situation like that? It's like, I remained as respectful as I could because I'm not going to refute or challenge her prognosis even if I know I'm not feeling well. That's the biggest thing too, I have to basically swallow my pride and say I understand while she's literally for lack of a better word walking around with a rude-like-demeanor. I just find it ridiculous that she ran the test(which came back reactive/positive) she emphasized so hard to refuse my prescription(that legit was out of my hands when the original pharmacy didn't record a special specific number necessary, so they couldn't even accept something that was no longer being filled elsewhere - not to mention both were trying to get ahold of the ER MD but, couldn't get a verbal) other dr ended up giving me something else, like she ended up agreeing(whether she wants to or not the lab results are unequivocal facts) with me but wouldn't follow through with the first-line of treatment? Furthermore after she kept emphasizing wrong dates and even flexing the FREAKING TIME I FIRST MET HER WHERE SHE DIDN'T HELP, I simply reiterated my reasoning for going in there - she straight up squared up her shoulders and big time was trying to set this egregious example for two other doctors on how to man-handle the situation while emphasizing her own power-trip. To end on the biggest thing, she used a shortage of medication as a basis for ending her whole spiel, like what the heck? Okay, so me being sick is proportionately related to the whole world shutting down? How is that any sort of relevancy? I'm supposed to be ill not because the treatment is completely unavailable or incompatible or altogether unrelated but, because of her preconceived notion that there's a shortage? I just find that irresponsible that she can't even entertain the idea of a queue system or some sort of wait list on receiving the medication (especially since I needed to take it on a later date after picking up from pharmacy), & that she's so ingrained in being pushy like that. Seriously, why are you even in the medical field? I can have preconceived notions too based on what I surmise after meeting and speaking, I won't elaborate on that too hard since it'll probably get this review deleted. Honestly, just expect subpar treatment if you run into this lady. I wanted to walkout so badly mid conversation after I really felt like she didn't want to help me. Even now with what I've received I feel like she's only covering her own self instead of really focusing on what I need for a complete recovery. Oh and she was for lack of a better way of saying this like, "bro, we won't give you the antibiotics you need to lose your ability to walk." Like, seriously? I'm trying to avoid that outcome by going in and she's telling me she won't help until that point??? Lady, seriously antibiotics will only kill the current infection - it's not going return functionality to any already done damage. Do NOT see this lady. Stop any effort to bring her in. She's the worst. She only records what you say to use against you - no help

This doctor is very rude.I explained to her I was involved in a car accident and she tried to link my symptoms to pregnancy that I’ve had over 3 years ago!No bedside manners what so ever. You can feel a stare of judgement as soon as she walks in the room.

Dr. Lacsina is an exceptional physician who truly goes above and beyond for their patients. From the moment I walked into the office, I felt welcomed and cared for. Dr. Lacsina took the time to listen carefully to my concerns, asked thoughtful questions, and explained everything clearly and patiently. Her bedside manner is both warm and professional, which made me feel completely at ease.

She is very caring, and helpful doctor. She really spends time to review my symptoms, and talks to me (not just in and out). She describes everything carefully. I am glad that she takes my axiety seriously, and addresses it right away.
