First impressions matter, and our first visit to PDS set the bar high. My partner and I were looking for a new PCP, and are happy with our choice to try PDS. I just had the worst experience at the Henderson location. I had a simple appointment to go over my lab results with my primary care provider Christine V. The previous time I did this, I was able to go during my lunch break. Here's what happened this time. First, I got an email from PDS Medical on 12/24/25 reminding me I have an appointment on January 7th, 2026. I confirmed the appointment. Then I get an email on 12/30/25 reminding me I have an appointment and letting me know that I can save time by using e check-in. Done. I checked in using the online portal. Finally. I got a text message the morning of my appointment on Jan 7th again reminding me I have an appointment. Confirmed! My appointment was at 1:30pm, so I took a lunch break from 1:00pm-2:00pm. I showed up at 1:15pm. Checked in at the front desk. The receptionist, a very nice lady named Ezmiralda charged me my $70 copayment. She emailed me my receipt. Receipt received in my email at 1:17pm. I waited in the lobby patiently. I was then called in at my appointment time exactly at 1:30pm. The assistant took my blood pressure & weight and escorted me to the waiting room at 1:35. I sat in the waiting room until 2:00pm! Christine V. never showed up! I heard her walk into a room of a patient that showed up after me at 1:58pm! There was no communication from the staff letting me know they were short staffed. Nor was there any communication for warning me that the wait would be longer than expected. I left as soon as my lunch break ended 2pm (and returned to work late). I did let Ezmiralda know that no one ever came in the room to see me. She could tell I was upset when I walked out. Do you think anyone called me to apologize? No! Not during the drive home, nor during the remainder of the afternoon or evening! The next day I did not receive a single phone call from PDS Medical, but I did get a message from the MyChart portal letting me know my prescription refill was denied. The portion I paid for my blood work on 12/24, and the $70 copay for the office was a waste of money! They obviously do not care about their patients!

NP Villa is, without question, the absolute best provider I have been treated by in my life. This sounds like hyperbole, but it is not. Simply stated, she took the time to listen to me, she clearly reviewed my records and together we built a plan to improve my health, dramatically. I was fortunate to have her as the replacement for my prior GP provider who retired. But the practice left much to be desired. When Dr Villa left there, I was devastated. After some internet sleuthing I discovered her new practice and made an appointment right away. She remembered EVERYTHING. No need to bring my old file with me, she just knew it all. She brought with her certain (the best) staff as well so there is additional familiarity not just for us patients but also for the staff who know us well. This new facility is fresh, clean and friendly. The location is actually so far from my home it doesn't make sense to have picked it. I am in Aliante and the practice is in Henderson.. For care like this, the drive is worth it.

Among the best I've ever had. She knows how to deal with older people and she never ignores my concerns. I went for an appointment on Weds 10/29 and was supposed to receive a referral. The referral was incorrect, so I called back on 10/30, a new referral was not submitted back until 11/3, which apparently was not submitted to the same place as the original one, however nobody felt compelled to communicate this to me. Additionally, that referral was missing parts of it apparently and also never received by any provider. I am now 8 days post doctor appointment, no referral, and no concrete ETA on when this gets fixed and no belief that this will be fixed correctly the next time I hear from the office. The mistake is excusable, the lack of urgency, lack of communication, and lack of accuracy during the STILL ongoing attempt to remediate the issue makes this a 1 star for me.

Front desk person told me the Dr prescribes a medicine I need.
I asked twice and he confirms.

I show up at my appointment and was told they don't do that.

Leah Anderson is responsive and communicates clearly. The administrative team is a disaster. I was told on the day of my appointment that I would be charged a $70 dollar paperwork fee (not billed to insurance) for Leah Anderson to fill out a one page physical (with four lines of information) clearing me for clinical rotations at school. Had I known the paperwork fee prior to the day of my appointment (which I included notes in my appointment indicating I was coming for a physical and called and spoke with someone prior to coming in), I would have changed primary care providers and cancelled my appointment. The administrative team then forgot to collect said $70 fee when I checked out. They just called to ask for $75 dollars now. This is the kind of behavior that makes me have little faith in the health care system.

I have been meaning to write a review for the past month, possibly 2 months ant this point, and I feel terrible that it’s taken me so long!! PDS Medical Group Henderson is absolutely amazing! I was recommended to Dr. Stephanie Acoba and I’m so happy I followed up and made an appt. She is so kind, she listens and I could tell right away she’s not the type of doc that wants to get you on meds. She truly wants to find the root cause and help you get to your healthiest self. I know I can trust her and that’s so important. Her MA Brittney was so sweet and funny. She made me feel comfortable immediately when I got there. This place is great! Dr. Leah Anderson is by far the best. I came in for a Pap smear, but I was told I don’t need them since I no longer have a uterus. (I never knew this, and no one had ever told me before.) I was very embarrassed, but Dr. Anderson noticed my blood pressure was high, likely due to a cyst around my right ovary that has been causing pain for the past two years.

She prescribed me Amlodipine, but it caused my right ankle to swell, so I decided to stop taking it. She then prescribed me Propranolol, and so far it seems to be working, although it’s still too early to tell.

The staff here are also wonderful, and I highly recommend this place to anyone in need. I’m glad I found Dr. Anderson—she is so caring, very sweet, and truly listens to you.

I have just moved to the state and was looking for primary care provider. I tried others in town, but long wait time and the NPR wasn’t carrying enough to help me. Then I tried Calling PDS medical and let me tell you all these good reviews made me schedule the appointment but when I got there I was very happy of how they run their business- and that’s why I am making this review.
No long wait time, that’s unheard of , the nurse saw me and the the NPR got to the room under 5 minutes. They took care of my needs and I appreciate them for that. I would recommend trying they seem they care for patients for a big medical group company.

I recently brought my grandparents to be seen by Stephanie Acoba, APRN she’s absolutely amazing she is so attentive and took the time to get through EVERY concern I had. She had me leaving with a smile on my face, not feeling overwhelmed or still concerned about the wellbeing of my grandparents. Also her medical assistant Brittney also top notch every time I have called, I talked directly with her and she addressed my needs every time. I didn’t have to leave a message and wait a week to hear back. This team is amazing and I honestly couldn’t put everything in this review. It would go on and on. Dawn at the front desk is extremely kind. She is very patient. She truly cares about all the patients. I had a horrible day and she made me feel like someone really cared about me. I had Leah Anderson as my provider previously, and she was understanding and very knowledgeable. However, when addressing mental health concerns and asking for guidance, she was very dismissive and did not seem to want to answer my questions. I'm sure it was just an off day considering all the nice reviews she has on here, but it would have been nice to have had the same experience.

However, the front desk woman on the medical side is extremely rude, quick to anger, and unhelpful. Upon my first meeting of this staff, she was so unwelcoming and I found that to be a shame as she was interacting with so many other patients and could only wonder if she was this way to everyone else as well. I only wish I could remember her name.

I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars!!! I scheduled my very first PCP appointment with Dr Acoba, and let me tell you, I was expecting to wait 1-2 months before i got an opening. I called on Monday June 9th, and was scheduled for Wednesday June 11th. My next appointment is 3 weeks following the 11th, which is still an amazing wait time!!! Now to the staff! The receptionists are amazing and very sweet! My Triage Nurse, Brittney, was an absolute darling!! She was very sweet and very attentive!! Dr Stephanie R Acoba, was probably one of the nicest Doctors I have ever come across! She was very respectfull and very very sweet! Not paying enough attention to what I was doing, I accidentally gave myself a 4cm cut on the fleshy part of my left palm. Not thinking much of it, I put pressure on the wound and bandaged it. As it continued to bleed I thought it might be a good idea to seek medical care. I called Henderson Health Group and spoke with Dawn and was told I could come in immediately to be assessed. Upon arrival I was immediately escorted by Rosie to check my vitals then showed to a room to be seen by a health care provider. Leah an APRN came in and asked how I hurt my hand. I explained what happened as she removed the bandage and looked at the wound taking steps to clean and then stitch my hand with 6 stitches. Not being one to seek out medical care, I'm glad I decided to get help for this injury. I would 💯% recommend using their medical services. Give them a chance, you'll be glad you did!

Recently moved to the area and this office is near by. My first initial visit (the common dr meet & greet) was ok. Front office wasn't very friendly but the nurse practitioner was so it balanced out. She gave me an order for routine blood work and made a follow up appointment to review the results and do my annual physical ( including womens wellness check) my schedule unexpectedly changed and I wasn't able to get lab work done before my next appointment. They said I had to reschedule my appointment until I got my lab work done. I asked if I could still attend the appointment to get my physical and women wellness check, they said no. I was told they are unable to see me at their practice until I get my blood work done. To be clear I have no problem getting blood work done but my schedule is a bit crazy at the moment. I should of at the very least been seen for my women wellness check up.

We come from Arizona for health care, we just adore N.P. Anderson. We didn't have a good round with the first gal we had, but Ms. Leah is caring, listens to your needs. Nothing as good as a positive review about constant positive vibes. A little over a year ago we were literally hunting and comparing medical locations to get a new family doctor. We live in Boulder City, and our insurance wanted us to look around and come up with a new doctor. How do you start, how do you know for sure that the 'new caretaker' would be good? Let alone great...!

Well, we obviously looked into some reviews and in the so called insurer preferred list, and this is where Henderson Health Group popped up. Fast forward, we connected and little did we knew what a gem we found in this team...

I got diagnosed with Thyroid and Lymph node cancer. The world famous 'best cancer to have' like they call it. Well, nothing was further from the truth and I needed some serious guidance and a follow up like I couldn't believe it. This process started with the front office to book appointments with literally every specific specialist in Vegas to get me the best care team as possible. My God did they succeed! From bloodwork in the office to scheduling biopsies, to finding the right endocrinologist, the best surgeon Vegas has ever seen. To choosing the hospital, explaining me how their app works so I can easily communicate, to following up with my pharmacy here in Boulder City. It was all taken care off! They literally went all in and took care of everything that I needed in times where I personally couldn't see the light at the end of the tunnel. Conversations with my family, my children, up to getting in touch with home services in case I needed help after my upcoming surgery last month. And did I forget to mention wound care and the fact that I got automated appointments so they can see me?

I can't thank them enough and trust me, I feel soo much better post surgery now. Knowing that this team is there for me at all times. I am a weekly guest, and I repeat a 'guest'. Not even a patient. I truly feel that the ladies at the office are more friends than anything. Dawn, Kelly and Rosie are top notch in being friendly and fun, like literally taking the pain away.. With smiles and stories for days! I love it..:

On a side note, my primary nurse practitioner Lindsay who works in the sister office a couple miles away got sick and needed some free time.

So Doc Leah, who now is a friend as well, took over my case immediately and has been soo unbelievably helpful and professional to a point where she told me today that if I needed anything during my upcoming weekend travels to California that I can just reach out to her. In the same breath she mentioned that she had a family weekend off as well but she would regularly check her phone app to see if I needed something! Thank you! That is massive.

Last but not least, big shout out again to Doc Lindsay my friend as well! Without her my life would have been different. And another 2.0 thank you goes out to Doc Stephanie who unconditionally takes care of my teenager kids who have the typical runny noses and small minor accidents. Thank you Steph for fixing them up when they need a medical eye to take a look at them. All this while dad here is not feeling good and battling this cancer monster that was trying to eat me an alive. How do I stop myself from keeping on writing so much positivity here? I can and will call it '5 stars and triple AAA service' to complete my little review here. You guys rock!! Tell 'm I said it ;-)

Went to their office 2 years ago and was seeing Lori Koehler. I was advised to see her and she would help me. I was having a bad experience with my medication and was not doing too well. I tried calling their office and messaging on their app with no replies. It took a few weeks and then I got a reply on the app from the doctor telling me to stay on the medication and I should be fine. I was surprised for her simple response and not fix on my situation. So I quit the medication. Shortly after she was transfered to the Durango office, so I followed her. I saw her once and then my next appointment no one notified me that she was no longer with the office. My doctor from another office stated she was fired. I can see why.

I was recently notified after 2 years that co payments from both offices were sent to our debit account. We have been trying to contact them now going on 2 weeks that we have moved from that state and no longer have that debit account. The only people we get is the answering service. Today we were told even they can't get a hold of the office. What a joke! So if someone sees this message, CHECK YOUR MESSAGES! AND CALL US BACK! Just ridiculous!

I was invited to a Healthcare Training Event at Henderson Health and Rehab. I was struck by the very pleasant and welcoming staff along with a well-oiled community, spending quality time and energy both living and caring for the residents there. As a plus, I was so impressed with the level of cleanliness and aroma throughout the building. Great Job to Seth, the Executive Director and hisTeam!!

Shelia was so helpful helping me with my mom , she called me several times a day . She tract down my mom stuff and had name tags put on my mom clothes. She a must keep employee. Very very helpful , kind ,and compassionate employee

Says online they are accepting new patients when you call the aren’t even accepting new patients told us to call other office and when we called them they said they would call us back to set up an appointment in 48 hours guess what no call back and this was last week🤦🏽‍♀️

I'm happy with my provider, Michelle APRN, we communicate on the website and she's very thorough, I like her and it's been hard to find a PCP.
Healthcare kinda SUCKS however, I'm sitting here today HOT! I had scheduled a follow up appointment 3 months ago, took off from work, arrived for my appointment, and I'm told that Delilah canceled my appointment. WTH?! Who's Delilah?! Again, I made this appointment 3 months ago, completed labs last week, messaged with my provider, used vacation time for this appointment and get here --- WHO CANCELED MY APPOINTMENT???? They told me I'd need to reschedule, come back another day and I explained that was totally unacceptable -- my time is important too, I'm a nurse and a single mom -- and how did this happen?! I want to file a complaint, you've wasted my time. So I speak to the Ops Mgr who apologized & offered to double book me today.

Delilah is the MA, she's young and when i look her in the eye, I dont even have the heart to rip her a new one as I wanted to. She should never have been given the authority to mess things up so effectively.

So I'm double booked. My appointment was 415, it's now 518 and I'm waiting... so 1 star for them getting it together to see me. Delilah stole the rest.

Coming today was by far one of the most pleasant medical experiences I've encountered. From the moment I came in I felt welcomed; everyone was attentive, caring and more than helpful from the patient care coordinator, to the medical back office supervisor to the wonderful nurse practitioner. While it's unfortunate I need to return medically, knowing I have these amazing ladies to look forward to in seeing truly puts me at ease. Warm Regards, Debra

I called HHG to make an appointment as a new patient. I had to wait more than two weeks. Two days before the appointment HHG called me to confirm. Twenty-four hours before the appointment HHG called me to say the appointment is cancelled and they are not accepting new patients. I called them and they admitted to having a new folder for me in their files but could give no explanation why they treated me this way. I feel diddled and delayed getting my health problem looked into. But I am grateful to find out their sloppiness sooner rather than later. Alas I cannot post this without at least one star which is undeserved..

The nurse practioner Lawanda is a terrible person with a terrible attitude. Good luck if you pick this place as your doctor. She will talk down to you and dismiss you as a patient especially if you don't have insurance and she will call the pharmacy and cancel your prescriptions if you don't come in when she snaps her fingers. She doesn't care what your situation is she is cold hearted and rude.

I recently moved from California and was so scared to see a new doctor. Henderson Health group has taken care of me above and beyond my expectations and I’m so thankful to have found them. I highly recommend this office to all seeking quality care.

UPDATE- Dr. García is no longer here I’m extremely sad. After a long search of Primary doctors she was phenomenal. I have switched to Southwest Med. because of the wait of them not having a new PC here. I have been waiting 3 months or more.. I even tried their other location by Henderson hospital with Nurse Bridgett, she moved after my 1 month wait of scheduling with her. This is devastating.. not sure what is going on with the health group.

Wow!!! Loved my experience!! From the front desk to the Nurse! Very friendly & clean environment. I saw Dr. Elena Belen she was amazing! She covered all my questions and made sure that she can get all the answers before referring me to any other place! Im glad I made the choice of coming here.

Front desk was great & the doctor was nice but not very helpful. Worst part is doctors come & go so frequently that it causes issues. I was just seen over a month ago but because that doctor left the practice they are trying to make me come in for another annual exam (and another copay) before giving me the referral that they were supposed to give me in the first place!
