Thank you to the staff, Eric & Matt, and Dr. Nasser. Their discernment and dedication to their patients’ health protected my daughter from potential permanent damage to her optic nerve. They swiftly examined her retinal scans and in Dr. Nasser’s wisdom he sent us with a referral to the ER for a MRI. This Team’s knowledge, action, communication, and follow up allowed us to have early intervention & start a treatment plan that thwarted any damage. They are wonderful and I am so grateful.

I get Dr. Chen rushed through my exam. She seemed disinterested in my questions and responded with “everybody has cataracts” ummm okay. Told me the growth next to my eye “could be anything ya know” go see derm. I should have waited to be seen at the VA. Now Ashley was professional, she had great customer service skills. She explained everything. Asked if I had questions. She seemed to actually care unlike Dr Chen. Koao( forgive the spelling) was polite as well. She gave directions really fast BUT she was polite and I appreciated that.

You know I was skeptical on going to Pearle Vision to get glasses for my son but I’m glad I came. The moment I opened the door, I was greeted with a smile from Glen, and asked what he can do for us. Told him that we already have a prescription and just need to get glasses. He was more than happy to assist, but the best thing is that I have Medicaid insurance and usually I’m treated poorly because they automatically know I’m poor and won’t get extra things. Well he still treated me like a top tier customer/patient. Went through what is coveted and not and brought selections for my son to look at. Then I recalled that my son has VSP with his dad and was patient enough with me to gather all the information. I added a bunch of special things to my son’s lenses like blue light filter, anti glare and transitional. The price given at the end was phenomenal. I would advise anyone to go here. He even mentioned to be that i was overdue for a checkup and I almost forgot it. But I’ll be coming back to this location to specifically ask for glen! Thank you for making this easy for me

Worst place I’ve ever been to for an eye exam. I waited over an hour past my scheduled appointment time before being seen. I understand that delays can happen, but waiting that long with no reasonable explanation or communication was extremely frustrating. I was finally told I would be sent to the exam room, only to wait another 10 minutes after being taken back.

The lack of communication and the excessive wait time made this a very disappointing experience. I would not recommend this place.

The customer service has been extremely disappointing. In June, I purchased a new pair of eyeglasses and paid an additional $850 out of pocket for a Gucci frame, on top of what my insurance covered.

Since then, I have had to return three separate times to have the frame adjusted due to recurring issues. By August 15, the frame had become so damaged that it was no longer usable. When I visited the Rainbow location on August 15, I was informed that the frame could not be repaired.

What is even more concerning is that when I purchased the glasses, the salesperson clearly told me that the frame was covered by a one-year warranty/insurance plan. However, when I returned on August 15, I was told that no such coverage existed.

It has not even been three months since I purchased these eyeglasses, and the frame has already failed completely. I paid a premium price expecting a high-quality product and reliable customer service, but instead I have experienced repeated defects, conflicting information, and a complete lack of accountability.

In my opinion, this situation amounts to deceptive and misleading business practices. I am requesting an immediate review of my case and an appropriate resolution, whether through a replacement frame, repair, or refund.

Called yesterday to see if I could get an appointment because the normal place I went to said I couldn't get in until Jan. I spoke with a wonderful girl who helped me and then the guy who did my pre exam was amazing too! Then I sat down with Ashley and she let me know what all of my options and how much credit I would get if I use my insurance and I told her that I had some glasses that I wanted to take to somewhere to get the lenses replaced and she gave me an amazing quote to bring my own glasses there. They fit me in the same day I have my glass prescription and I couldn't be any happier. Thanks you guys!

"Don't go here. This place is a money grab. They exaggerate your prescription to sell you glasses, and push add-ons (dilation, lens upgrades) that don't actually deliver what they claim. My son's exam was rushed — while he was reading the letters, the physician kept changing them before he could answer, so he ended up getting the wrong lens. She only checked one lens, even though he clearly couldn't see any of the letters through it. The frames we bought broke the same week they fell apart on his face, no rough handling. If you care about your vision, go somewhere else.

Fair. Didn’t like the part that the sensory test was not explained to me that it was optional and it’s $65 out of pocket. These things should be explained and give customers the option to either do it or not. I asked her about it and she acted like she didn’t understand me at all after I said the front only told me $39 + $139 for astigmatism. My son and family recently had our first trip to Pearle, and they did not disappoint, they were thorough and professional. Even after we had my pair had a small issue with screw and my son's stem detached while opening, everyone from the moment you walk in is nice and professional. I don’t even want to give one star.
My appointment was at 9:20 a.m., but my eye exam didn’t start until after 10:00. I arrived at 9:02, so I waited for more than an hour.
I wanted to get contact lenses and learn about my options, but the staff member was very pushy and seemed more interested in selling me what she wanted rather than helping me choose what was best for me.
After waiting so long, I asked how much longer it would be, and she said, “Five more minutes.” When I sat down, she kicked the rolling chair near her while saying something about patient. It was very rude and made the experience even more unpleasant.
The technician and the doctor, however, were both kind and friendly, and I appreciated their professionalism.
In the end, the visit took almost three hours for the three of us. To make matters worse, when I got home, I realized they had given my daughter her old prescription instead of the updated one, so I had to drive back to get the correct prescription.
Overall, it was a long, stressful, and very disappointing experience.

Not the best experience compared to my usual eye doctor. I only came because my usual place is closed for summer. 30 minute wait until assistant checked pressure. A full hour wait for the doctor. She did very minimal in checking eyes. My normal doctor actually looks in the eyes with a light and machine as part of normal check up. Just simple and quick vision testing was done here. They also immediately tried to upsell another procedure for an additional charge, you have to sign the form saying you don't consent to that. I wouldnt return to this local, back to my usual spot once it reopens.

I love some of the staff members. I really loved the girl who did my eye test she made me believe I was doing great…….but I was actually failing the test😂😂😂 she was a real sweetheart. I only gave it 4 stars because the Dr herself wasn’t concerned with my concerns about my vision. I purchased a warranty on my son's glasses that was offered at the time a little over a year ago when we went into the store, about a week ago he got a crack on one of the arms so we went in and we were charged the deductible of $25 and we're told that we would get a call once the frames are in. A few days later we get an email with a $350 bill, when I called in and asked about this bill the representative stated that he failed to tell me that it was a 13 month warranty that had expired on the frames that we had Purchased. When we purchased this warranty we were told that it covered the frame for as long as my son had the frames, now that we needed to use the warranty And after the fact we paid the $25 deductible they changed their mind and wanted to charge us $350 and stated that it was only a 13 month warranty, who buys a 13 month warranty? We were lied to by the store in order for them to sell a warranty, dishonest Businesses are in my opinion despicable

I had a wonderful experience. Everyone was professional, the doctor explained everything and was very nice. Rhonda the manager I believe is who stood out the most for me. She really took care of me, helped me find the perfect glasses, very intuitive as to what would look good on me. She helped me when I needed to leave and come back later. Truly disappointed in this visit. I was forced to take 2 eye tests that I didn't want. And was not able to complete the tests - but yet I had to pay for them.

Then on to the glasses...I was told I got the "best" price but when I checked with EyeMed found out that wasn't true. I asked if that was the best - told yes - so I walked out for almost $500 for lenses and frames with my copay.

I got to thinking about it and called EyeMed. After talking with the rep from EyeMed she decided to call and ask why the copay was so high. She got a completely different number than I did. Also found out I was quote Tier 4 lenses with ALL the options. And I was never provided a breakdown on her "great" pricing.

This is completely unacceptable and even the EyeMed asked if I wanted them to file a complaint. And no, those eye tests for $59 extra are not required by my insurance

I feel like I was taken on a ride here. Besides being forced to take optional tests, the frames being overpriced, being lied to about the lenses and options, and then hearing that they told insurance another price? This is not the way to do business.

I and my family will never be back and I will make sure everyone I know hears this story.

This was my first time visiting Pearl Vision, and I was really impressed! It was extremley affordable compared to my previous eye doctor. They had a lot of availability to schedule me in as well. The doctorI saw was great, I think her name as Dr. Lai! She got me a new prescription for my glasses and contacts and ensured my eyes were healthy! She was very kind as well.

The man the helped me pick out my new glasses and ordered contacts was very kind too. He reviewed my insurance and found me some of the best deals. He was not a pushy upseller like some eye doctor offices. I felt ver comfortable there, and will defintely be returning in the future!

If I could give them a 0 review I would. My mom went there to get prescription glasses and after she picked them up she realized her prescription wasn’t right. She went back and told them the situation and first, was greeted with the worst manners by a gentleman, he had zero intentions to help her and told her to come back in a week because he couldn’t help her. My mom asked him if there was someone else that could help her and he didn’t even look at her and just pointed to another lady that was there. My mom goes to talk to the lady and the lady said, I did hear you talking to him, you need to come back next week. She also had the worst disposition, zero customer service and rude to my mom told her she couldn’t help her, this lady was the manager of the store, I don’t understand why she couldn’t help my mom her being the manager. This business can’t even be bothered to update their available hours. They aren’t open on Sunday or Monday (despite me making a literal appointment on THIS SPECIFIC LOCATION’s website for a Monday). Don’t waste your time, find a better optometrist. Leaving a part of my review from the other location here to hopefully incentivize a member of the staff to actually do their job and update their hours.

From previous review: I called again a week later, and they STILL have not updated their business hours (despite MULTIPLE employees both in person and via phone being notified about this issue). Pearle Vision clearly doesn’t care about its customers having access to the proper information. The only way to know that the Windmill location is closed on Sunday and Monday is to either 1) call them OR 2) physically show up and look at the posted hours on their door. Ridiculous business practices. I will never again bring my health concerns to such an unprofessional organization in the future.

Luckily the lady with colored hair finally helped me, tried to say my broken frame was not from there, then tried to say that it wasn't a screw then that was messed up, then, said, oh, the frame is cracked. We did find it, it was designer. But you know, no longer carry, it just made me feel like I was trying to cheat them. Somehow, and I'm on the road, I had to use a little garbage bag tie. And they were like, well, we don't see a warranty or insurance or blah, blah, blah, blah blah. And I had asked them before, and they said, because it was such a good expensive frame. You know, I could get it if I want, but it was wire, and I last, and I remembered it all. It was such a hassle for them. Just to get me a frame so they gave me a frame that was not even 1. The cost of what I paid them. I will never go back to pearl vision again. If I would rather pay a $1000 somewhere else than ever walk in there. Review for Glen at Pearl Vision (8025 South Rainbow Blvd.)

I want to take a moment to express my sincere appreciation for Glen at Pearl Vision on South Rainbow Blvd. Yesterday, my eyeglass frames broke just an hour before I had to clock in for work. When I initially called Pearl Vision, I was told that I would either have to wait 3–4 months for new frames to possibly arrive or pay out of pocket for new ones, provided my lenses fit.

Thankfully, my mom brought my broken glasses into the store, and that’s when Glen truly went above and beyond. He kindly and efficiently repaired my frames, and to my surprise and gratitude, Glen also informed us that Pearl Vision offers a one-time frame repair at no cost, which he honored without hesitation.

Unfortunately, I witnessed a disappointing moment
when Glen’s manager seemed to reprimand him for extending this courtesy even though he was simply following company policy and providing excellent customer service. As a loyal customer, I felt it was important to share how much I appreciated Glen’s professionalism, kindness, and genuine care.

Glen, thank you for being an example of compassion, effort, and integrity within Pearl Vision’s team. You turned what could have been a stressful situation into a positive experience, and I hope your management recognizes the true value you bring to their store

I have been coming to pearl vision since 2022. I think it’s been longer but who knows. Anyways I continue to come back because they are so organized with paperwork, they have a process of going through the eye exam with a breeze. They explain everything! Even before my appointment I received a phone call explaining all the co pays and fees and what I was going to expect. I loved that because I hate going into an establishment not knowing what to expect. Overall the communication and experience is always a 10/10 will always recommend. As a person with a stutter. I can say I always feel accommodated and heard. Thank you for a good experience every eye exam. I have a bad memory with names but the beautiful soul with the purple hair is such a vibe! And the whole staff is just a perfect team.

UPDATE: This is my 2nd year to come here. The people who help you with the glasses are nice and Glenn, specifically, is good at choosing which frames look good on you and your face shape. The prices are high and that's why it doesn't surprise me when one of the staff mentioned that customers usually go to Costco to get their frames. With insurance for an exam with contacts and glasses purchase, it was over $800. Also, everytime I come here, I always pay in full and they always call back with a balance stating they forgot to charge me for something, etc. Last year, they forgot to give me my rebate and I only found out from another staff that they're supposed to give you that paperwork so I had to remind them this year since they forgot it again.
But when I forgot my coupon and tried to use it when I came to pick up my frames, they wouldn't acknowledge it because the balance I owed was for an amount they forgot to charge me on the contacts and doesn't apply to my frames. I questioned, what if I only paid in half in the beginning and I'm here to pick up my frames and pay my balance, can't you apply this coupon...no. Little things like this go a long way and customers will remember this. So, next year, I may have to take my business elsewhere. People will remember their experience, this is why my husband refuses to come back here.

So far so good for our first time to come here. Ordered contacts and eyeglass and sunglass promo they had going on.

They told me my daughters insurance only covered one replacement pair, after calling my daughters insurance and confirming they still cover 3 a year, pearls vision changed their story to where pearls vision only allows one replacement regardless of insurance. After speaking with the manager, they tried to state it was my insurance again and that they would need to submit a prior authorization I asked them too. After a good couple weeks, they changed the story once again to only pearls vision only allows one replacement regardless of insurance and Medicaid. They allowed 3 last year, when asked if they planned on telling their customers I was told no, not until they came in. Even though we called an asked the first time and was told she would be covered and then was hit with we already replaced it once this year once we actually made it in person.

Over the years, the service provided at the 8025 S. Rainbow Blvd location has always been on time, helpful, and very patient with any questions or concerns. I had gone to several more "clinic/ medical setting" establishments with specific issues or medical complaints. All ignored & felt like cattle being moved along. My 1st visit here, they listened & found the medical issue with my deteriorated vision. I was shocked. For years, I've tried to get a reason why or what was happening, and my issues were dismissed. Their service here should be recognized & commended. The gentleman who helped with my frames - beyond gracious, patient, & helpful. I highly recommend them so much that I took the time to do this.

This is my 7th year as a customer at pearl vision because I live close, and I had a horrible experience with Glen at this location after they messed with location for my appointments as they have two stores at the same road. Glen had a big attitude, unprofessional, and very incompetent. He didn’t bother to ask me questions if I need the glass for driving or reading and made the assumption that I only need it for reading. Then made me a pair of glass I can’t use. Again made me another pair binocular with a visible sticker line like that I’m not used to. He didn’t even bother to explain what the glass would be like and accused me harshly for my insurance clauses. They wasted 6 hours of my time and I have to go back and forth 5 times for a pair of glasses. All these can be avoided if Glen explains to me and ask a few questions. I haven’t been so mad for such a long time. Also found this store is a rip off. They carry exactly the same pairs of Oakley sunglasses but charges 40% or even more than the Silverton glass shop 3 miles away. I hope the store owner see this, but they probably don’t care. Consider this my last pair of glasses at this place. You just lost a loyal customer!

My wife and I visited this location on a Saturday after making an appointment during the week and providing both my insurance and my wife's insurance. Upon arrival, we were told they were not able to verify our insurance, and we would be listed as cash pay until the insurance was verified. We made the appointment at least 2 weeks in advance, which should have been more than enough time for our insurance to be validated! No one ever contacted us regarding the insurance, and here we are today picking up the glasses with a 40% off coupon in had they refused to honor. We paid the $400.00 so they would start on my wife's glasses, and when we asked about the insurance today, we were told there is nothing they can do! We were told the lady with purple hair was a manager, and when my wife voiced her concerns, she did not make an effort to remedy the situation! She instead got up and walked to the back! We made the mistake of referring my sister in law and found they did the same insurance game to her. They both work for the State and the lady at the desk told them both the insurance they have could not be verified on the weekend!? They obviously knew this would be the case and had more than ample time to avoid this from being an issue! Not one person there offered to assist us with getting this issue resolved! We were told that only the billing department could do anything about it! After this whole experience, I will NOT use their services as was the plan. My wife will never return! My sister in law will never return! I know we were overcharged, and they just don't care!

Phenomenal staff! This was my son’s first exam. From the moment we walked in I was greeted with Glen. Biggest smile amazing energy. He was awesome. Then Christina was the one to take us back. Again smiling and with amazing energy! Her and Quincy did the test for us. Both absolutely amazing! Quincy was kind and listened to everything, as Christina was with my 8 year old son. The dr was lovely but the staff was horrible. They pressure you with the financials and they don't make sense. After my visit with the Dr., I was talking to a person that does the financials. For 1 he started quoted me with wrong insurance information. 2nd he was trying to make me take home the supply of contacts that I currenlty had one for trails. Who does that? Out of all eye dr appointments this one right here they made me feel uncomfortable and pressured. What I am use to of is trying out trails 1st, once I decide which ones I want to purchase then I tell the office to go ahead and order the supply. But who pressures you to take the supply when you are uncertain if you want them? It doesn't make sense to me. And he was telling me if I didn't like them I can bring them back? But why? Why leave with them if I know I may not want them and bring them back? I should've taken the sign that my husband wasn't comfortable there and canceled my appointment. Oh well now I know NOT to come here for my next dr. It was nice to meet the dr but the experience of signing in, them asking about a cost/service before the dr see's me (it's like you have to pay these fees and you have to do certain service that they getting concent from you), after appointment being quoted incorrectly, being pressured to take home a supply i am uncertain to take home, and because they were closing they can "honor" me going back to select frames (3rd he told me if i wanted the frames I HAD to get them at the moment but they were putting the frames away. By end of the conversation all the frames were put away... so now he can "honor" for me to come back and select another day.). The way that they try to drain money out of you is all wrong. I have had better experience than this one.

Much better experience this year with the staff and doctor than I had the 215/Flamingo location that asked for cash to avoid a card surcharge fee. The staff here didn’t know what they were talking about and preferred card. No extra fees. Also this location did not put me in single visions and offered me more options and designer frames. Went in to get my glasses adjusted with Chris bent my glasses and heated up my temple on each side of my glasses with heat and created a craze on the lenses came in and said my frames weren't the same frames that you just did didn't want to take responsibility for it Wendy marketing manager was snippy and rude wanted to give me 20% off for $438 for new lenses when they destroyed my lenses no accountability whatsoever stated that it could be because I left my glasses in the car which I literally left provision and called their front desk Adriana to inform them that my glasses were not clear like they were when they got adjusted AVOID THIS LOCATION.

Everyone there was fantastic from Quincy who checked me in and took care of the various tests prior to my meeting with Dr. Mindy Nguyen.
