I recently had to make a few trips back to Pearle Vision after making a small mistake with my glasses, which gave me the opportunity to work with just about everyone there. Every interaction has been positive, but Chris has been working on this for me now and has been absolutely outstanding in helping me through the process.

The entire team has been incredibly kind, patient, and welcoming. Their level of customer service and care really stands out, and I am truly grateful for every interaction I have had with them.

This experience has also made me realize just how much of a difference having the right vision correction can make. It is life changing!

I called Pearl Vision on a Sunday, not expecting the eye doctor to even be open, and was thrilled they could get me in, and I came in a just the right time.
I'd been dealing with worsening eyesight and some light sensitivity, on screens alot, and given my family history with macular degeneration, I wanted a thorough checkup.

The whole team walked me through every step with so much patience and care. Adrianna (pardon if the spelling is incorrect) was so welcoming, helpful, also very informative. She was very great at explaining how the insurance process worked ( and made it so simple) they are very on point here!
Side note lol You can tell this whole team is probably amazing to work with.

From the moment I arrived, everyone treated me like family, even the staff who weren't directly helping me. The front desk team was incredibly thorough and welcoming. Dr. Kopolow took the time to explain exactly what was going on with my eyes, walked me through my options, and offered genuinely helpful lifestyle tips along the way. If you meet this doctor you will be wowed by her knowledge and the compassion she has. So kind, knowledgeable, understandable, the list goes on.

Connie went above and beyond, not just helping me pick out glasses but making sure I understood everything, including the paperwork, with so much patience and kindness. They really take the time to make sure you understand, and they are so compassionate, everyone.

My experience with Dr. Dong Suk was that he was quite curt and patronizing, even though I simply asked questions to understand better. I recently tried to order contacts with the prescription he gave me, but the CYL he put was not even an option for any contacts and now I am unable to order them. When I called the office, everyone seemed confused and didn't know what I was talking about. If you want a rushed experience where the doctor might make a mistake and the office is so disorganized that it will be hard to fix, then this is the right place!

On Friday afternoon I accidentally dropped my glasses and broke the frame. I was devastated......it was like I had lost my best friend. At 9 am Saturday morning June 13 I visited the Pearle Vision store on west Sahara and met a very nice man (I don't know his name) and showed him my glasses and asked him if he could help me. He gave me a few options ( that didn't involve Pearl Vision) but suggested that I probably should get new frames with my old lenses. He viewed my past history and my insurance and came up with a very reasonable plan to purchase new frames and he had my new glasses ready in less than 15 minutes. I couldn't be more happy!!

This location will pressure into paying for an optional retinal exam, otherwise you undergo dilation. I also encountered attempts to charge additional fees for optional services presented as mandatory. Today’s interaction was unacceptable as well as unprofessional behavior when I declined the retinal exam.
I would like this complaint to be reviewed by management and letting you know that it will be escalated to the appropriate regulatory and patient-relations department. I also ask that staff be reminded to clearly explain optional services and obtain informed consent without pressure or intimidation.

At this location patients are being pressured into purchasing an optional test (retinal exam) by telling you that refusing it will result in a dilating your pupils only to make your glasses. In my view, this is misleading and inappropriate.

On June 11, 2026, at approximately 10:40 a.m., I was told by the receptionist that “the doctor will need to dilate your pupils if you refuse this test; she will only perform the exam without dilation if you take the test.” The test in question was a retinal exam that, according to the paperwork provided, is optional.

I asked why this was being presented as mandatory when my previous visits were different and the paperwork explicitly states that patients may decline the retinal exam. The receptionist responded, “This is a different doctor.”

This is not my first concern with this location. In a prior visit, I was charged extra for an exam resulted in fully covered by my insurance. During another visit, I experienced dismissive and rude treatment from the doctor after declining the retinal exam. Today’s experience, however, was the most troubling because it appeared to cross professional and ethical boundaries.

I request that this matter be reviewed and that appropriate action be taken to ensure patients are clearly informed about optional tests and are not pressured into additional charges or procedures.

I've been going to opthamologists and optometrists for over 35 years, and I must say, this might have been the best eye care experience I've ever had. And this is coming from someone who's even received eye care at Bascom Palmer in Miami, FL. From beginning to end, this Pearle Vision was a great choice for us. The doctor, Dr. Kara Kopolow, was caring and amazing with my son and me. So patient also. And Connie? Such a pleasure to have been attended and helped by her. She was very patient with our questions, was so kind to my son, and we ended up purchasing glasses that we were both very happy with. She was wonderful. Update on my review, 2 months later. 4 out of 5. I think the 2 young ladies who work the front desk of the doctor's office are extremely rude. They were rude the first time I went but it was overshadowed by the great service I received from the doctor and Connie. I just went back to get my glasses adjusted and again, they were snarky and just give off rude arrogant vibes. I think those 2 front desk young ladies need to be moved to the back Desk.

I was very upset when I left there yesterday. From starting at Rampart location initially and then moving to the Sahara branch I have been given four different prescriptions in the course of a year it’s been crazy. My Opthamologist says my eyes are better than when I first saw him and yet you have changed my script 4 times! I have three sets of glasses and not one of them is completely wearable!
I wasn’t about to purchase another frame and lens yesterday.
I have gone thru a need for a surgery on my breasts and also biopsy on my lip with a diagnosis of SCC but didn’t bring this up yesterday when I saw Dr.K.
It hasn’t affected my vision but it did make it so that I couldn’t return to you in a months time to tell you that each of the scripts weren’t right for me. So now I am stuck with 3 different glasses that I can’t see well out of!!
I think it’s time to find a new optometrist although I like Dr. K very much. I did inform the staff each time when I couldn’t make it back in on time but I realized yesterday none of my calls were charted. It made me look bad that I didn’t let you guys know in a timely manner that I was not happy with each of these new scripts which was obviously not right for me.
So now I’m stuck with them and it’s been a waste of money.
I even bought into your “ mites on eyelids” plan which the other doctor said I don’t have!

This was my first time going to Pearle Vision and I highly recommend this location because for being my first time there it was the absolute BEST experience because the staff and the doctor was amazing KARA KOPOLOW she was so genuine so patient very friendly SHE EXPLAINED everything so well answered any questions I had and then she walked me out and another amazing experience with HAZEL she helped me pick out the glasses I bought two pair and I’m very happy with my service great location

Do yourself and your eyes a favor and receive care here. Dr Kopolow was absolutely phenomenal. Professional, courteous and kind . I came in for a medical exam and was very worried , Dr Kopolow walked into that room and I immediately knew I was in good hands I am absolutely blown away thank you from the bottom of my heart. Denise at the front desk was very efficient and sweet to me and I felt as though she really listened to me . Ladies thank you so much ! This has been my go to store for years and I have spent hundreds of dollars every year on new glasses. This time around I dealt with Chris, the manager, who has completely ruined my Customer experience and this was the last time that I will be going to this location.
It started already in February when I chose new glasses and was told there is a high chance they will be done the same day and he will call me right away (he knew I was going out of town the next day). He never followed up and I had to call.
When I was back in town I had to go back as the prescription didn’t work and the style of the glasses didn’t work either. They agreed that I could get new frames, which I appreciate but the customer experience has been horrible. I have been chasing Chris for 2 weeks as the promised calls to keep me updated never happened. Even when picking up the new frames and getting my refund nothing was prepared by Chris. Nobody knew anything about the refund and then I was told I have to come back once he is back in, which I refused. They have been holding some couple of hundred dollars of refund hostage for too long. Not sure if they have a commission program and he wanted to get his bonus or what happened here, but considering that he is the manager I am shocked about the customer service experience.

All the staff and the doctor that worked with me were so great!! They all knew the answers to my questions and went out of their way to find me the best glasses I could get! Kimora and Brittany were just so wonderful! Helped me so much! And I can’t remember the name of the lady who’s in charge there but she was awesome as well!

The eye appointment itself was very good, however when I was discharged out to the lobby I was asked to take a seat and someone would be with me shortly. I waited patiently for more than 30 minutes and no one paid the least bit of attention to me so I went to the registration desk, paid for my eye exams and left. Unbelievable.
