I hope people see the critical reviews, because the positive ones are almost certainly bought.

I say this with no pleasure, and I'm not exaggerating. Radiant Smiles is the most predatory dental practice I've ever encountered. They are the definition of a wolf in sheep's clothing.

Their objective is not to look out for their patients' best interests or to provide them solutions within their economic means. Their objective is to find every possible way they can bill for provided care. They don't care if their "solutions" are covered by not. If they can persuade you to take on debt, they're happy to do that.

I gave this practice two chances across five years. In both cases, they tried to milk me for procedures I didn't need. Most recently, they tried to get me for laser treatment that my current dentist says I can attack with a water pick.

How do I know they're selling me nonsense? It's just so obvious. It's clear how they're looking for any detail they can turn into a huge emergency. They're counting on people's ignorance, their trust in authority, and fear of not acting on something urgent.

What angers me the most is how they refuse to give me the standard dental cleaning I am covered for and asked for. They come down on that position after taking x-rays they didn't make clear would be billed to me. (My current dentist also told me the x-rays Radiant took are trash.)

I could go into deeper detail about the morally bankrupt tactics this place has pulled. But I'll just leave it here. I hate being put in a position to leave negative reviews. But people need to know about Radiant. This practice is predatory and incompetent.

EDIT: Radiant reached out to me. Offered me money to delete this review.

I will give you guys a second thought of this place!

I was receive a bad service and over bill from the clinic after they claimed from my insurance. The sell guy told me if I don't want to pay full amount they offer the loan by Sunbit and I put down payment $115.14 for a first time after service and on a loan $645.86 that was concerned me a lot after I walked out from first treatment.

First bill total was $662 and they claimed my insurance $492 afterward.

Second visit bill total was $540 and they claimed my insurance $370 afterward.

I tried to do math but never workout about what a loan $761 I signed for and it's my responsibility to call the clinic and asked can you provide an itemized bill and adjust my a-mouth of loan which is already calculated for the interest 🙄🙄

And they sent me about my appointment if I am not show up or reschedule in 48 hrs before appointment it's gonna be $50 fee!

I hope they call me back soon to figure out the bill and adjust my loan I am pretty sure the clinic that provide an insurance and open so many years they will let you know the estimate cost upfront and acknowledge which is covered and which not cover.

Nick is super! I liked his focus with reviewing the pricing option(s) in a treatment plan for me. He offered to look further into my insurance. So we went back to the office, and Nick called to reach my insurance company. However, they were closed for the day. During my consultation with Nick, I decided that I would come back for my dental cleaning once my insurance verified my treatment. I rescheduled for another appt.
Later, in speaking with my insurance company again, I learned that Nick saved me some additional out-of-pocket costs. No hustle, no up-sale, just sincere customer service. Thank you, Nick. 😌I appreciate your work ethics.
The entire staff is pleasant, and I like that vibe.
Then there is THE "Amazing Jenna!" Yes, they do offer a Laser Treatment as an optional recommendation. However, this is the place I am returning to for my dental cleaning and dental care. She is amazingly thorough, experienced, and Laser or no Laser, just imagine this: Jenna has the same goal as I do .....

As of August 2026, the experience is perfect. The newer staff, as well as Jana, are super nice and welcoming. It feels like they care about you and aren’t just trying to upsell. Theres little to no wait, and the lobby is nice and modern. Also the atmosphere is calm and peaceful. They now have a handheld xray machine, which is WAY better than the old machines that are built into the cabinet. Instead of 10-15 minutes of awkward biting and posing, the X-rays can be done in a couple minutes total. I highly recommend this office and hope it continues to be a positive and professional experience.

For context, I'm down in Henderson for a few months and wanted to get my teeth cleaned as I missed my usual appointment at my normal dentist.

Facilities: Just OK. Not too dated, not too modern. They have what I would estimate at about 12 rooms. They were pretty busy.

Scheduling: They got me scheduled for the next day, and I see why. They have a heavy division of labor within the office, you are seen by like 6 different people while you are there.

The appointment: They took me to get a panoramic X-ray immediately upon getting there, without any explanation. That would have been fine on its own, but then they *also* did regular X-ray pictures where they have you chomp on the bit and take individual shots. Excessive, but whatever.

Then the dentist saw me for about 5 minutes making small talk. Then the hygienist saw me and did the standard gum number counting. She said I needed a cleaning, which I knew, and then I was left for about 20 minutes.

After 20 minutes, a tech or someone came in with the recommended services from the dentist, or the hygienist, not sure which. This is where the service began to go from average to annoying, and somewhat hostile.

They recommended a small cavity fill & not a deep cleaning, not a routine cleaning, but some middle ground cleaning that they wanted nearly *400 dollars* out of pocket for. I asked if my insurance would cover it, they said no. I said that my insurance has always covered my cleanings for the last 30 years of my life, every 6 months. They said they wouldn't cover this one. Ok, fine.

I asked for the difference between a "routine" cleaning (which insurance covers) and this "middle ground" cleaning. Her explanation was incredibly vague, there was some 180 dollar "rinse" involved. I had to look up everything after I got home because her explanations were so poor I could only feel like I was being completely ripped off.

When I tried to ask clarifying questions the tech kind of stared at me like I was being insane, and started being weirdly defensive. I asked if I could just get a normal cleaning instead, and circle back to the more advanced cleaning later, since I wanted to get a second opinion before I forked over $400 when the dentist only saw me for about 5 minutes. She said yes I could get a normal cleaning. I asked, that covers tartar and plaque cleaning, yes? She said NO.

Huh?? I've been getting routine cleanings every 6 months for over 30 years and this is the first I've ever heard of a normal cleaning (covered by insurance) not covering plaque and tartar removal. She said it *only* includes a polish. What? This is just a lie. Perhaps she meant to say that the dentist would not do a normal cleaning on me and would only do the more expensive one. I don't know. This was not communicated clearly at all.

Even if it wasn't the case, at this point I just felt like I was being scammed, and requested to pay what I owed and leave.

The whole appointment had very bad vibes. Fake friendliness, like very formulaic small talk, and a very factory like structure. The dentist barely saw you.

I requested that my X-rays be transferred to a new dentist and I'll take my business elsewhere. Overall, I would not recommend them and will not be going back.

I had a very disappointing experience at this dental office and feel it is important to share my experience.

I scheduled an appointment due to soreness and sensitivity in one of my molars. Upon arrival, I waited over 40 minutes past my scheduled appointment time before being seen. During that time, I could clearly overhear the receptionist discussing patients’ personal information, insurance matters, and details of their individual situations after nearly every phone call. These conversations were easily audible from the waiting room, which raised serious concerns about patient confidentiality and appeared to be a violation of HIPAA privacy standards.

When I was finally seen, Dr. Ruiz informed me that I had a cavity in my back molar that required a filling and that the adjacent molar had a cracked filling that required a crown. Even with dental insurance, I was quoted over $1,500 in out-of-pocket costs.

Wanting to ensure the diagnosis was accurate, I sought a second opinion from my longtime dentist in California. After a comprehensive examination, I was informed that I did not have any cavities and that the treatment recommended at this office was unnecessary.

The significant discrepancy between the two evaluations, combined with the recommendation for over $1,500 in treatment that another dentist determined I did not need, has caused me to lose all confidence in this practice. Between the excessive wait time, the apparent disregard for patient privacy, and what I believe to be unnecessary treatment recommendations, I cannot recommend this office. I strongly encourage anyone considering treatment here to seek a second opinion before proceeding with costly dental work.

The service is excellent, and the staff is very professional. Dr. Quizon was incredibly helpful; we had a morning appointment and were already starting treatment that same afternoon. Ms. Carisma was very kind and assisted us with all the paperwork, payments, and insurance-related matters. I recommend this place 100%, whether you have insurance or not. The care is excellent; I give them five out of five stars because there aren't any more stars to give. Thank you for everything.

I've had pain in my gums for upper and lower for many years and I've seen numerous dentists who didn't take the time to take care of me I've had different diagnosis but Dr.Quizon was able to figure out the cause of the problem and I'm very happy with this office and Dr.Quizon, karisma was able to explain everything to me and I was overall so happy with my visit here definitely coming back

I had a very disappointing experience at Radiant Smiles Henderson.

Before my appointment, the front desk confirmed that everything was in order and that I would only be responsible for a $10 consultation copay. However, after completing X-rays and receiving a treatment plan, I was informed at checkout that I owed $45 because they could no longer see my information in their system. Despite relying on the information provided by their office before my visit, no one took responsibility for the error or offered a reasonable explanation.

Customer service was extremely poor. When I called to discuss the issue, the staff was dismissive, rude, and unwilling to listen. I was told someone would investigate what happened and contact me the following day, but I never received a callback.

I was also concerned about the treatment recommendations I received. Multiple dentists at other clinics had previously recommended fillings for my molars, while I was advised here that I needed crowns. When I asked questions to better understand the recommendation, I felt rushed and was told the doctor needed to see other patients rather than being given a thorough explanation.

Additionally, the X-ray equipment appeared to have issues during my visit, requiring multiple attempts to complete the imaging.

What concerns me most is the lack of communication, accountability, and transparency. I left feeling that my time was wasted and that I could not confidently trust the information being provided. I ultimately found another dental office that offered the same recommended treatment at a significantly lower cost.

Based on my experience, I would not recommend this office.

The service received was unsatisfactory. I waited for one hour in the examination room for a scheduled teeth cleaning appointment at 5:00 PM, but no one attended to me. By 6:00 PM, I proceeded to the front desk to reschedule.

However, the exceptional service provided by the front desk employees, particularly Nick and a young lady who was handling phone calls, significantly mitigated the negative experience.

I suffer from an extremely high fear of the dentist due to a dental mistake performed on me when I was a child. The entire staff at Radiant were incredibly kind and understanding of my fears and they went above and beyond to make me comfortable. They were also professional and answered my questions thoroughly as well as explaining all procedures and options for my dental care. Highly, highly recommend.

Communication was a ZERO. Customer service on everyone’s part from the front of the office to the end of the appointment checkout was horrible. Had to personally ask so many questions to even understand what was happening during my appointment. At checkout the man was extremely rude made me never want to go back again - asked him a simple question for him to explain which his response was “Do you need me to bring the doctors back” with an attitude. First of all 1 star rating not relate to a provider.
I gave 1 star because my 2nd visit was a terrible nightmare ever.
I chose this place because the review on Zocdoc. 1st visit was really smooth and the assistance lady really happy with her job, she has a service mind and helpful. And the problem start with a 2nd visit the dental assistance guy told me to close my mouth I tried because the suction was mess with my tongue and he told me "ma'am close your mouth" 3-4 times and I did follow his instruction slowly because I don't want to make a mess.
And he squeeze my lips and asked Are you scared to close your mouth?
And the second time happened again he told me to close my mouth and I couldn't because that what the tube and my tongue was messed and yes he squeeze my lips with his hand and asked me same damm question about "Are you scared to close your mouth?"
And after that he said "sorry" like nothing just happen.
I felt it is a racist and violent after my visit. I will change to another location or just cancelled next appointment.
He asked me why I not do the treatment in my country it's cheaper he said that even never visit Thailand once and I said I wasn't prepare for do this here tho!
Not recommended this place except only the doctor was really nice in that room.
