Nothing causes me more anxiety than the dentist. At the beginning of the year, I broke 4 teeth after a fall. Rainbow dental saw me within a week and were always accommodating, thereafter, as well. The office is clean, with a spa like atmosphere. They say a wonderful staff is the backbone to any successful practice. Jesse, the office manager, greets everyone with a smile and is very patient. She was so sweet reassuring that I would have a good experience. The office, bathroom were both very clean ( I always check) Dr. Po is great, they call him Painless Po and he deserves his nickname. Britney, also absolutely kind, gentle and professional. I love the staff. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I went in as a work comp case and am now a satisfied patient. I drive an hour to go to Rainbow Dental, yes construction is annoying but temporary, so that tells you how happy I am with my care.

First time at Rainbow Dental. The arrival did not go well because there is major construction directly outside the office exit, and I was stuck in traffic near their turn for about 25 minutes. Several staff members acknowledged the ongoing issue and voiced frustration about how much it has affected both patients and staff schedules, but unfortunately none of this was mentioned during the appointment reminder call, so I ended up arriving late.

Once inside, the experience became a reminder of how much one staff member can shape an entire visit. The clinical staff themselves were pleasant and professional. Britney was thorough with X-rays and photos, and Dr. Po completed the exam and recommendations professionally. While there were a few awkward moments regarding my medical and oral surgery history, nothing during the clinical portion of the visit stood out as negative enough to keep me from returning.

What ultimately changed the entire experience for me was my interaction with Jessie at the front desk/billing area. From the beginning, I felt more like an interruption than a patient. During check-in, she continued conversations with coworkers while handing me paperwork with minimal acknowledgment. I initially brushed this off because everyone seemed stressed by the construction situation.

However, after the exam, the interaction became increasingly uncomfortable. I clearly stated multiple times that I only wanted to proceed with the cleaning for now and was not ready to address additional recommended procedures. Instead of respecting that decision, Jessie repeatedly pushed the issue, emphasizing that everything was covered by the VA and questioning why I would not “fix” the problems immediately. At one point she said, “I don’t understand why you won’t get this done but alright,” before leaving the room.

Regardless of intent, the conversation felt aggressive, dismissive, and lacking empathy. Patients do not always make decisions based solely on insurance coverage or clinical recommendations, and it should not require repeated explanations for a patient to set boundaries about their own care plan.

The unfortunate part is that one interaction overshadowed the entire visit. I actually had no major concerns with the licensed dental staff, but because of the way I was treated by Jessie, I will only return for the already planned cleaning and will not be pursuing the additional recommendations or continuing care at this office afterward.

I had a toothache so bad and hadn't been to a dentist in years, and they tend to look down on you. But this place took me on a Saturday. Early morning took all kinds of x-rays. I only got charged $99. I was thinking it was gonna be more like a 1000 with all the x-rays they took. They were kind professional. I recommend them and I would go back there in a heartbeat. Around 6 years ago I had fallen coming out of my shower. Hand missed the towel bar & my jaw hit it! A week later, jaw was still sore. I end up at a quack Dentist who (after an exam) tells me to go buy Sensodyne! So a week goes by, I call quack & he tells me Sensodyne takes 2 weeks to work! I end up in the ER with a crazy out of control infection! Worst pain of my life! Being from So CA I began searching Internet for a Dentist educated there! I find RAINBOW 🌈 DENTAL & Dr Po, my HERO! Dr Po saved me! Firstly, his amazing assistant, Brittney takes one pic & tells me I have a cracked back molar (NOT sensitivity). Then her sister, Jennifer, & Dr Po took THE BEST care of me! I will NEVER forget it & have been loyal ever since!! I COMPLETELY TRUST EVERYONE IN THIS OFFICE. And, 6 years later, all of the same people are there. They love Dr Po too! My husband and I have been coming here for years. We have always had a wonderful experience. I brought my son to the clinic for his 1st dental exam and it was incredible. Becca, Brittany, Jesse, and Dr Po made the experience for both him and I very positive. The anxiety I felt was gone after seeing what they did to prepare for his very 1st visit. I got a tell ya, this place is by far the best dental office I have ever been to, I have my own dentist, I was sent here for a workman's Comp injury and the staff were friendly and helpful, and the dentist and assistant were just awesome. Everyone who works here is very nice and committed to helping you get the best care possible. I was originally supposed to go in for X-rays and come back for a cleaning, but they were able to get the cleaning in during the same appointment which was super helpful for my schedule. They were very quick and offered plenty of actually helpful tips to keep my teeth and gums healthy, rather than generic suggestions that I’ve heard everywhere else. They also offered a tv while they were doing the teeth cleaning, and sunglasses to wear so the light wasn’t shining in my eyes. Definitely recommend !!

I've been going to this office since 2009 & they have been the absolute BEST dentist in my life. Dr. Po & his staff have your best interest only. They take every precaution in your care. I love that he has kept his equipment updated & modernized. His office his clean & comfortable. He has TVs in each exam room that may help you keep calm if you're a nervous type patient. They are always on time and never keep you waiting. The girls up front are exceptional at their job. I can't say enough about this office. Absolutely the BEST. If Dr. Po is unable to accommodate you. I been visiting Rainbow Dental since2012. I was new in town and had dental insurance, still, I was mistreated by the previous dental clinic, by changing the code treatment, just before the appointment to increase my copay. I felt helpless and became suspicious to remain their patient. So when my neighbor recommended Dr Po I welcome it. Arriving at the Rainbow Dental it took me awhile to let down my guards. Looking back, I feel embarrassed for questioning their sincerity. It takes a while to erase a bad experience. The hygienist, Michelle, was gentle and took her time to clean thoroughly without hurting me. Her warm personality and explanation before the procedure melted my fears away. The front office assistant, Jesse has been wonderfully considerate of my scheduling needs. I had a big event coming up in a short amount of time and she made sure to find time to get my dental issues fixed before going to the event. I greatly appreciate Dr. Po's patience and willingness to fix the chips in my teeth multiple times so I can be happy with my smile. I've never had to wait for my appointment as the Doctor and his staff have been on time each time. They have even called me to advance my appointment when needed and it was greatly appreciated. Admittedly, I haven't been to the dentist in years. Due to an emergency, I called them and they were able to get me in the same day, even squeezing in my son for a cleaning and sealant application. The entire staff was fantastic, from my check-in experience to the hygienist Liz, who gave me one of the most thorough, but gentle cleanings I've ever had!
When the doctor came in, he was friendly and professional and DID NOT chide me for not coming in sooner. (Something I really appreciated.)

I had tremendous anxiety as I had not been to the dentist in many years. I ordered nitrous for my first procedure, but it turns out, I didn’t need it! Every single member of Dr. Po’s team was an angel. I had my last filling done today, and I’m almost sorry I don’t need more work done! Lol! I have been looking for a Dental Care facility for a long time and finally found it. From the first moment I walked in, I felt welcome with a friendly and competent staff. The wait was minimal and the office ran like clock work. From the Dental assistant to the Dentist I was met with professional competence. The hygienist is the best I have had in Las Vegas, friendly, nice, gentle, and she did an excellent cleaning. The assistant did a great job with xrays and made me as comfortable as possible. Dr. Po was thorough and went over everything with me. I felt very confident with what he said. I finally have found a wonderful dentist and staff in a great office. I loved the TV's on the ceiling! Thanks!!

I had a broken tooth and I absolutely had to find a dentist. I was fairly new in town and didn't even really know anyone to get a recommendation. I found Rainbow Dental in an online search and loved that it was close to my house. Now I should say that I have always been a nervous patient, always terrified of going to the dentist. I didn't call to make an appointment, I walked into the office to do it. While I was explaining why I needed to be seen, I suddenly started to cry uncontrollably (to my embarrassed horror!) The office staff was wonderful!! Came out to put an arm around me and sat with me until I was calm. Then they just put me at ease and assured me that Dr. Po would not do anything but take a look and explain what could be done, so nothing to worry about. And they were right! He put me at ease and I had my dental work done. That was six years ago! Since then, I've gotten a crown, many cleanings and exams, a couple of procedures and now my entire family sees and loves Dr. Po! He is kind and has a gentle touch. Everyone that works in the office has been wonderful! They are all very caring, compassionate, friendly and professional. I can't imagine going anywhere else. I hope that I never have to look for another dentist again!

I took my 7 year old daughter to a "new dentist" for cavities that need to be filled. She dreaded going, she hates the shots!! After signing her in I patiently waited in the lobby. She walks out with a half smile, since she was numb, and said "ok mom I'm ready to go". Wow...no crying, no holding her hand, no protesting the entire process! This is a first :) When I woke up the next morning there is a note pushed under my door that said "Mom, I love my new dentist! Can we go back there from now on?"

That was 6 years ago...we will never change to another dentist! Dr. Po is experienced, patient, encouraging and calming with our entire family. In addition, his prices are more competitive than I ever found in the Las Vegas valley.

I promise once you meet him and the staff, you will always be in excellent hands!
