I had such a wonderful experience at Red Rock Surgery Center with Dr. Hathaway! Everything was incredibly professional, smooth, and well-organized from beginning to end. Dr. Hathaway was amazing, and the entire staff made me feel comfortable and well taken care of. A special shoutout to all the ladies who were so friendly, welcoming, and attentive! Thank you all for making the experience such a positive one. I would absolutely recommend Red Rock Surgery Center and Dr. Hathaway to anyone looking for exceptional care! ❤️

Stay far away from this place! We never actually made it to this place. But my husband has been waiting to have a surgery. We got a referral to this place. They took over THREE weeks to tell us they don't accept our insurance. And that's after my husband called them 2x to see what's going on. The third time he called is when they finally told him. So, they took that long to even figure out they couldn't take our insurance and then they weren't even going to call to let us know. Stay away. So unbelievably unprofessional. I wouldn't go here if it was the last place in NV to have surgery.

Idk how the hell they have 4.5 star ratting, this has got to be thee slowest service of any sort I have ever seen. I had a 8:00 appointment, it’s going 9:30 and I haven’t even been spoken to for a surgical procedure. The point of an appointment when it’s not kept is crazy. They expect you to be on time, but they are not please quit lieing for these people and giveing good ratings, because every one deserves to know what they are walking in to, before they get there, and I’ll be the first to tell it straight it’s garbage for service

This was my second time visiting Red Rock Surgery center - and the staff from the moment you walk in to my two nurses that took my vitals to my AMAZING nurse Kelly ( that literally recognized me, ty) and kind anesthesiologist and hands down priceless recovery nurse - all under the car of Dr Nahm, who after 30+ years has given me such relief I never imagined. I will always request the use of this facility whenever it is possible. Thank you for your amazing care, my medical Angels.

The waiting area here is a disaster. It feels like mental confinement—the space is far too small and poorly laid out, forcing you to sit just a few feet away from people who have zero respect or social awareness. To make matters worse, the seats are terrible and completely unsuitable for anyone dealing with injuries or chronic pain. Being forced to wait for at least an hour in such an uncomfortable, cramped setting is unacceptable for a medical facility. If you value basic courtesy, personal space, and physical comfort, avoid this place at all costs.

The facility is fine. My issue was with billing. My claims have taken 4 months to go through. This put me in a tough position because I had to pay my out of pocket several times over for other procedures this year. When I call to ask the status, no one answers. I leave a message but no response.

Other than that, I got 3 spine procedures done there. Not a single time did they schedule an anesthesiologist. I ended up getting the procedures without proper sedation for my first two procedures.

Tiffany was my pre-op nurse, and since it was my first time going through this, she did an amazing job easing my nerves and making me feel comfortable. Kelli was my OR nurse, she was incredibly knowledgeable and made sure I was fully prepared for the procedure. Alyssa was my PACU nurse, and she was so kind and helpful throughout my post-op recovery.

I’m beyond impressed with the care I received and would absolutely recommend Red Rock Surgery Center to anyone.

I recently had cataract surgeries performed at Red Rock Surgery Center, and my experience was truly excellent. From start to finish, the staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly supportive. Everyone I encountered was comforting and reassuring, taking the time to check and double-check everything to ensure my safety and comfort. They also took the time to explain the procedures to me and answered all my nervous questions. The quality of care was outstanding and I felt very well cared for.

The facility itself is small but clean, organized, and welcoming. The wait time was reasonable, and the overall atmosphere was positive, comforting and reassuring. Hearing the staff calmly going about their work made me feel confident that I was in very capable hands. My recovery has been smooth, and the outcome of the surgeries exceeded my expectations. I especially appreciated the follow-up call after surgeries to check on how I was recovering I didn't know this place exisited before but now I think it is a great place for anyone in need of outpatient surgical care.

Had to switch Pain mgmt once my Dr's office left town. Was initially hesitant in the switch, but the opportunities to use different modules in treatment, office etc makes it better. I love that Dr. Sherif Haraway is no nonsense in getting you in , out and done while still maintaining professionalism, patience n support from his staff. Thank you to preop, post op staff always able to answer your questions, not like some places where they have to go get the answer for you. And they're rapport wit " Frequent Flyers" as us Chronic pain injections are called is JUST AMAZING. Nonjudgmental, knowledge but most importantly kind. Sorry I text like I talk 4EVER.

Everyone was very nice. My experience started with the receptionist who I had to call to say I was going to be late due to a car accident on 215 and the traffic was moving slowly. She informed me that she will let the nurse know. I arrived just 7 minutes late. She said the nurse will come and get you shortly. Sammy who is the RN came out and got me and informed me to put on a gown etc and helped me tie it in the back. She took me to the pre op area asking me questions, etc. She was extremely pleasant making sure I was comfortable and informing me to let her know if I needed anything. Maria was the medical assistant who was in charge of my vitals, hooking me up, putting the catheter in my vein. Did not hurt at all. She was very pleasant as well. Dr Blanco came in to talk to talk to me prior to the surgery. She was extremely pleasant letting me know the surgery should be about 40 minutes or less. Dr Subin who is the anathesiologist came in to talk to me. Very nice man. Gabi the OR nurse also came in to talk to me. Soon after that she walked me into the OR. Dr Blanco came in and instead of me lying on my stomach she with the others help had me lie on my side and put pillows between my legs making sure I was comfortable. Before I knew it, I was in the recovery room and Scott was the recovery room RN. He was extremely nice to me making sure I didn't get up by myself because I may get dizzy. He offered me juice, crackers but I declined saying that once I got home my husband would make soup and pasta. He called my husband and told him I did well and I was soon ready to go home. My husband came in, was given the discharge paper with the after care sheet to follow. Scott got me in the wheel chair and helped me to the car and offered us a hard candy which we gladly took. All in all, great staff. A big thank you to all who made my first ever surgery a very pleasant experience.

I have never personally used Red Rock Surgery Center, but I keep receiving bills addressed to someone who hasn't lived at my address for nearly five years. After trying the Return to Sender route with USPS multiple times (which clearly hasn't helped), I finally called the surgery center to explain the situation and suggest they try contacting the person directly. Unfortunately, the receptionist I spoke to was not only unhelpful but also rude and condescending, making what should have been a straightforward correction into an unnecessarily frustrating experience. This lack of professionalism and courtesy from their front desk staff is disappointing and reflects poorly on their overall service. I hope they take this feedback seriously and work on improving their approach to such simple issues.

The nurses and staff are nice. The wait time here is horrible though. They’ll tell you to arrive 1 hour earlier but you will still have to wait another hour after your scheduled appointment time. I was there from 10:30am and didn’t get called back until 12:45…the worst part of it was having to wait that long without being able to eat or drink

I want to give a big shout out and kudos to the wonderful Dr Maltiz and his fantastic crew. Britney, Catherine, Melissa, Albert, and Samantha. I came to get an irritating bumb removed that had grown on my lower eye lid. Dr. Maltiz and the wonderful nurses made me feel comfortable and helped ease my anxiety. With a little numbing agent and the swipe of Dr. M's steady hand that aggravating eye pimple was gone. The facility is clean and professionally set up. Thank you again for being my superheros of the day. You rock, Dr. Maltiz.

I have been here on a couple occasions now and the team takes incredible care of you. My favorite is Maria in pre-op, she’s buzzing around there like a bee taking care of everything. She helps me with my gown, booties or whatever and sets the IV very easily. Jackie in pre-op is extremely thorough, making sure I understand all of the post op rules to be safe, and she’s kind of funny.

Agnes in the OR is also very thorough and I feel very comfortable knowing she’s around in there. Dr Parikh is always great, easy to talk to. He does his job when I’m asleep so the interaction is more limited.

Finally, waking up post anesthesia knowing that Scott and Pam around to take care of me after the procedure is reassuring. They are patient, provide you with warm blankets and keep you comfortable until you’re ready and then they wheel you outside.

I know this stuff can probably be scary for some people, but this is what healthcare is all about. People taking care of people with empathy and compassion. Great job everyone.

First time I ever had to shots given to me in my spine for pain. This visit I was taking care of the lower neck. I was nervous as could be. However, this was the best experience I had and looking forward to coming back to take care of my lower back.

The place was very clean and orderly. The staff was as friendly as all medical places are. The people who I’ve seen complained were probably not friendly to the staff to begin with. Since I was thankful and took everything for what it was it ended up being a great and smooth experience.

Chris was in charge of my anesthesia while Jackie was the ones to take my vitals and put the needles needed for the procedure in me. They tried making my nervous less nervous by making jokes which helped. Though some people may think it’s rude, but honestly if you’re friends with nurses and doctors you’ll understand their humor. I would love if they could do my next procedure.

My doctor was Dr. Parikh. He is very straight forward and can put anything into terms to make sure you understand. What I liked is before the procedure he took the time to double check if I heard back from another doctor yet about my shoulder. Which showed he remembered me and double checking to make sure I’m getting the best care needed with him or any other doctor since my car accident.

I highly recommend coming here. After the nurses kept checking on me and gave me all the water I needed after before my ride was there. Though I did talk a lot after I was grateful to no longer feel pain in my neck.

Absolutely OUTSTANDING! I had surgery with Dr Khorsandi and the entire staff was better than I could've asked for.

(I've had surgery before at a different outpatient facility and did not have a good experience. The aftercare staff was not pleasant and I woke up dry heaving)

I expressed the dry heaving to the anesthesiologist and he explained exactly what had happened. The other facility gave me too much anesthesia.

I also told him that I had gastroparesis and he took extra precautions with that and advised the staff of the changes as well.

I absolutely could not have been happier with this team. ☺ Sooooooo awesome!

My son recently had dental work at this location referred by the Childrens Dentistry, all in all it was a good experience. My husband was not to fond of a gentleman that was in front desk, but apart from that the staff, nurses, and doctors were all very attentive and polite. They all spoke to us individually as we walked through the process from explaining the procedure to addressing any concerns we may have. They took their time to answer both my husbands and I questions. We left our 7 year old son, reassured. As rather protective parents yes I admit, we left as reassured as one can be because I do not know about other parents but speaking for myself even leaving my son for dental work alone is rather nerve wrecking mostly because he is going under. Thankfully all went well and they did awesome just as they said they would. Thank you I appreciate you all.

Worst place i have ever been to to have surgery! Was there 45 mins and they hadn't even checked me in. I had to go in and say something. My surgery was suppose to be at noon. It was 11:30 when i went. Back and asked what was going on. He said let me get you checked in. Then I asked, what time will my surgery be then? He said let me check you in and I will ask the nurse and I go you will let me know and he said yes. Fast forward to another half hour, its now my scheduled surgery time and I haven't even went back to even start the process. I go in and say what time is my surgery gonna be? One goes yiu didnt ask me, the guy jumps up and runs to the back. I said forget it cancel it. In the hour and and a half I was there, not k e time did they interact with me and say a word. I had to go in to try and find answers and never got them. I have had 9 surgeries, I understand delays and such. But they didn't communicate a word to me I saw the. Go to every other person waiting

DO NOT GO HERE!! You are treated like a number & not a patient. I paid this surgery center thousands of dollars to have a negative experience & I hope to steer you away from experiencing the same. They were negligent with my property & I haven't even received an apology. They are very unprofessional, as they do not return your phone calls or emails, specifically the administrator, Brittany Roy. Furthermore, you are mistreated, as they rush you out of the center right after being awoken from being under anesthesia. Ask your doctor to perform surgery elsewhere. This center is in dire need to reevaluate their policies, procedures & staff.

I would rate this surgery center a big zero if I could. The surgery center staff was not friendly, not helpful and explained very little, so I had to play the game.... "10 Questions" with them to get answers to my questions. They also asked several of the same questions of me over and over again.

I could not understand several members of the surgery staff's English and those same members also talked very softly (couldn't hear them) and too fast (couldn't understand them).

I would NOT recommend this facility. I felt like I was just "piece of meat", and that the surgery staff had 100% control over me ay all times and could just dictate orders at me.

I felt very vulnerable, unsafe and I left without surgery being performed. Their instructions to me were hard to understand and the instructions were to me somewhat misleading and confusing. So we played the .... "Repeat" game over and over again.

Staff was very friendly and comforting. It reallty helps calm your nerves before surgery to have staff who are kind, attentive and answer your questions.

‼EXCELENTE
Nice, smooth, no side effects on my lumbar epidural for herniated disc,
Dr. Ruggeroli, one of the best, hands down,
Sandra Rodriguez the I.V girl, was the painless IV ever, the best from Durango Mexico,
Such a professionalism and a sense of urgency is a plus in this hospital, you can feel the warmth since your arrival until you are placed in your ride home,
They will buckle your seat belt, who does that now in days..??
As a customer service critic, I was blown away by your team and the follow up phone call, Brenda was exceptionally professional and knowledgable, she is an asset to this institution..!
Can say more good things about you guys,
YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST,
Never would've known, you guys are across the street from my house..
Cute nurses as well

I feel bad about all the negative comments/reviews about Red Rock Surgery Center. And I was a little hesitant to go here based on the reviews. However, my experience was professional and everything ran smoothly. I was very at ease with them before & after my surgery...zero complaints.

I had surgery here in July. The place was run down. The lady that did my paperwork and took my insurance was vaping outside of the main doors to the building. I thought that you had to be several feet a way from a medical facility, but I guess not.

The nurses were super friendly.

This was the first time that I walked into the OR.

They didn’t allow my one family member to come to wait with me before I went into surgery. I would have felt more comfortable if I was able to have a family member back with me. Also, they never told my family member that I was out of surgery.

They were good about making sure no one put steri strips and adhesive on me. I’m allergic to both.

They want your child to fast for six hours but in the mean time bring in lunch for them selves while your child has not eaten. You sit in the waiting room for 2 hours with no explanation on to why until you the patient start to complain. Horrible place to set up a Appointment do not recommend to anyone.

Had surgery today at this horrifying place. I wouldn’t bring my dog here. Nurse refused to have a family member come back with me until I cried and asked for a supervisor. Finally I got a family member to be with me. Nurse never put gloves one once to start my Iv or anything. Had a very bad reaction to the anesthesia that lasted at least 45 minutes. My head and arms were lifting off the bed every second and I couldn’t breathe. 4 nurses stood around looking at me pumping demoral into me to try to fix it. I finally yelled and cursed demanding a dr to come in and no dr ever came in. I begged for my family to come in because I thought I was going to end up being intubated again. I am a respiratory therapist and never saw this in my 11 years. The place was dirty and very unprofessional. I will never use a surgery center again. There answer was we need to call 911 to transport you because we don’t have the means to treat you. If you code in this place you will probably die. Stay far away from this dirty unprofessional place

This place is a 0 star its very unprofessional has a lack of communication. Was told my daughter had a 10am appointment and to arrive 1 hour early for paperwork. Arrived 9am sharp to fill out a packet that took 5 minutes. After waiting 4 hours with no update asked receptionist whats the hold up. After checking with the back had to wait additional hour. Finally get called to pre-op wing had to wait an additional 2 hours before my daughter had her operation. Ask how long procedure would be still no answer from staff or dentist. This place gets seven thumbs down and will not schedule here again

Absolute worst place I have ever had the displeasure of being at. My husband waited 4 hours to get taken back for surgery while the secretary checked her personal email and watched tv, then we get to the pharmacy to fill his prescription for his pain medication and the prescription wasn't signed!!! He now has no pain meds and will not be able to sleep all weekend. I called the b.s. number they give you on the voicemail numerous times. No call back. Absolute horrifying experience from start to finish. Do yourself a favor if your Doctor uses this surgery center GET A NEW DOCTOR!!!!!!

Medical appointment are set by the service provider to ensure quality care of their patients and sometimes can be delayed due to unforeseen events. That being said. The patient is entilent to an explanation to the delay. 2 hrs pass appointment sure warrants this. Instead, the manager had to be called and had the nerve to argue. Warning, if you want to pay and be disrespected then by all means this might be the place for you. To the manager, put yourself in your patient's shoes . Sit and wait for 2 hours with no explanation to the delay and see how you feel.

I’m giving a 1 because there’s nothing lower.

I’ve been to this facility several times for injections. In my back and neck. Most times went okay until 3/18 visit. I was there at time I was told. Every time I had gone there i have to spend at least 30 minuets filling out the same paperwork This time I spent 1.5 hr in waiting area in chairs that are extremely uncomfortable. No one ever bothered to tell me what the delay was. No one was concerned about that but once I was taken back the person acted like I was a horse on a race only to be stuck in the uncomfortable chairs that once resided in the preop area. I’ve complained about these chairs being uncomfortable before. I spent another 2.5 hours sitting in the same chairs now in the hallway lined up with 2 other people. No privacy. Nurses acted like they didn’t know what was going on but plenty of people standing around, 1 of which was engrossed checking his email. I was finally told the Dr was late getting there. There was a pile of charts dumped on a table next to me. Everyone was busy looking for who next patient was and didn’t even know where the patients were because we were seemingly in hallway instead of actually in preop area. These rock hard reclining chairs are difficult to sit in on a good day for a person with back problems.

The young Filipino nurse who I spent time showing her where I preferred my IV be started couldn’t recognize it was infiltrated when I told her, she just turned it up and informed me it was fine. I showed her the golf ball size lump on my arm then she finally figured it out when I started to stand up and almost passed out. I informed her my upper arm was numb. I questioned if she knew what she was doing as the tubing was draped over the table and appeared to be on the floor. I had to question her if the end was on the floor.

I spent a great deal of time on the phone 4/10 on speaking to the person who said she was supervisor and said she was the person who wha taken me back. I knew she wasn’t the Filipino person who did. I told her I didn’t appreciate being referred to with slang words. I also informed this “supervisor “ whoever is damn owner needs to do something for patient comfort. She told me not to curse at her but it’s okay for staff to refer to me as “mamma”. This was the worst experience ever in my life. I was told if I wasn’t comfortable to bring my own wheelchair chair as you only provide those horrible recliner. That’s unacceptable. With the exception of Paulito and Janelle everyone else is rude and seemingly incompetent. You must have searched for awfully desperate people in need of jobs.

If today doesn’t go better I’ll be looking for a doctor that doesn’t use RRSC.

The office called me the next day after I had a seizure in their waiting room the day prior. I am very thankful of their concern and didn't expect them calling me back. Thank you Red Rock Surgery Center.

The absolute worst experience of my life. I was scheduled for 2:30pm, and was told not to eat or drink after midnight. I didn't. I get to the surgery center and am first told that I MUST present a urine sample to check for pregnancy- which I understand. However, I hadn't eaten or drank for over 15 HOURS and had already gone to the bathroom when I first woke up. So no sh**, I couldn't pee. They said they would give me an IV to help speed the process along- the absolute most AWFUL "nurse" came along. What an ASS. I told him from the beginning that I have a long history (10+ years) of fainting or getting close to that when I get blood taken or when I get IVs placed and requested to either lay down or at least sit in a more reclined position. His response? "NO. You're not going to faint." I was freaking out internally a little and had some tears dripping from my eyes, I wasn't bawling or being hysterical and his response? "Why are you doing that? I can't do this if you're doing that. You're making me nervous. Stop that." (LITERALLY HIS WORDS!!!!!!) He then tried (twice) and failed (twice) to place an IV in my right arm on my FOREARM which happens to be the site of many self-inflicted scars from worser years. He left both the IVs without the needle in, but then said that "There's something wrong with that arm- too much scar tissue. Why are you crying? The needle isn't even in you." Again- I was not hysterical and was just trying to stay calm while in a ton of pain, running on NO food or water, and trying to keep myself conscious. He finally moved to my left hand and that's when I started getting really blurred vision, broke out in a sweat, and felt the blood draining from my face. The feeling I know all too well means I'm about to pass out. I told him this- I TOLD HIM HOW I WAS FEELING, and his response? "You need to cut that out or else they won't take you back. Stop that. You're not going to faint. Stop that." as I'm literally blacking in and out of consciousness. Thankfully another man came in, the anesthesiologist I believe, and he saved me and helped me to a reclined chair and helped bring me back. Thank God for him. Moving forward- they hook me up to the fluids, and several nurses check to see if I managed to pee yet. At this point, I'm so severely dehydrated that even after an entire liter of saline solution, I still can't pee- not to mention I'm so stressed and uncomfortable from the situation that had happened with my IV that I'm just unable to do so under pressure....so they cancel my surgery!!! Since it's the end of the day and they all want to go home and can't wait on me to get rehydrated. Seriously? "Don't eat or drink after midnight. Now, pee fifteen hours later." Like I'm so shocked. They could at least warn female patients with a later appointment time that they will need to pass a pregnancy test and give them the option to do one the day before via blood or something. Oh, and to top it all off, while I was in the little pre-op area, waiting to absorb my fluids, the nurses were right there (one was the jerk from earlier, and then two females) who were JOKING ABOUT HOW THEY DO DRUGS!!!!! Like mind = blown. So unprofessional and definitely did not make me feel safe. The REAL nurses, the RN ones, were very nice and helpful and didn't make me feel so bad about me not being able to pee- one even tried to help me out by advising me to run my hand under warm water. But the non-RNs are awful. If I could go back and punch that guy, I would. And when I show up on Friday again for surgery, I will 1) refuse to let him touch me and 2) my boyfriend/ride WILL be coming to the triage in the back with me at the absolute least. They refused to let him back, probably because of how awful they treat the patients and they don't want any witnesses to that. Well, he and possibly my father, will not allow me to be treated like that again. Worst experience of my life- and I have a lot of experiences in hospitals.
