Richard L. Gardner II, DPM, is one of the skilled foot and ankle surgeons at Las Vegas Foot and Ankle Center, which has two locations in Henderson, Nevada. He is board certified by the Americal Board of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Gardner received his podiatric education at the Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California. He completed a three-year residency in Los Angeles, California, where he gained clinical and surgical experience in multiple settings, including veterans, county, and Kaiser hospitals.

I have seen Dr Gardner for several issues that I have had with my feet and he has been a great doctor. He is always punctual, kind and patient. He is also willing to answer any questions that a patient might have.

Better than expected for a new patient. The facility was a little tricky to find but there is sufficient parking. Very friendly staff and it was easy registering as a new patient. I was seen after an expected wait time, (less than 20 min). Dr. Richard Gardner was professional and thorough diagnosing my complaint. Much of the necessary equipment is on site, (ultrasound, x-ray machine) made the process quicker and easy. I left with a clear understanding of how to address my issue. I didn't feel like I wasted the entire morning there, (less than an hour).

I took my 11 year old son to Dr. Gardner for foot, ankle and heel pain. He was thorough with his exam and spent a lot of time explaining the diagnosis. I had been to another doctor and physical therapy, but it wasn’t until after our visit with Dr. Gardner that I felt like I had a much better understanding of his diagnosis and how to treat it. UPDATE
I recently had an incident that i was pretty sure i might have broken my foot. This happened on a weekend. Icalled early Monday morning and explained the situation. The office staff was able to get me in later in the day. Yes I did break my foot. Again staff and Dr Gardner were very helpful and friendly and i am so thankful they offer the kind of service that makes you feel like it is a big hug. Highly recommend.
Friendly, listens, and makes suggestions as to treatment. Allows for conversation. The experience was so pleasant that my husband booked an appointment before we left for something he needed to have addressed. Highly recommend.

Dr Gardner at Las Vegas Foot and Ankle Centers is the best foot and ankle doctor I have ever been to. I have really bad over pronation in my right ankle and he made me the most comfortable and durable orthotics 5 years ago and I am still enjoying them today. His kind and friendly personality makes it so it’s easier to talk to him and tell him your foot and ankle concerns. I really like Dr Gardner and his staff.

Dr Gardner has been my father’s Podiatrist for over 5 years. My father first met him at St Rose Hospital, where he skillfully was able to save my father’s foot. He then became his foot doctor. He takes care of my dad’s nails regularly (as my father is diabetic) and he addresses ongoing issues.
He is professional, skillful, friendly and most of all, very kind. I feel very grateful to have him as my dad’s podiatrist! I recommend Dr Gardner and his group practice highly!

Staff is super friendly and value the patients time! I did not wait very long at all. Dr. Gardner was very knowledgeable and listened to my concerns and addressed everyone of them, explaining all options available to me and discussing pros and cons and recovery times for each. He treated one of my concerns that day and with no pain during or after! Great bedside manner! I will be returning in a couple of weeks for next procedure. I couldn't recommend a better Dr. Thank you Dr. Gardner and staff!
Back now 8mos later for more steroid injections in feet. As before, friendly staff, no wait time and 1 AMAZING Dr. Gardner! No pain with injections and no downtime! Will return again and again. Thank you Dr. Gardner!

Great staff from the front desk to the imaging tech to the MD. I felt like the MD listened to my concerns relating to my foot problems and took the time to address my concerns. When I arrived at the office, I found out that my referral hadn’t been sent. The office member told me it wasn’t a problem. She made a phone call and all was set. It was great that they had an X-ray machine in the office so I didn’t have to go somewhere else. The doctor showed me my X-rays, explained why I getting foot pain, and made arrangements so I could get PT.

I arrived on time, they took me back to room for the procedure. Dr. Gardner explained what was going to happen. There was a 15 or 20 minute wait for the local anesthetic took effect. Procedure took 5 minutes and I was done. Easy, some pain in my foot. Tylenol took care of that. I see him again next week for a follow up.

Took his time to answer my questions, the only downside is they didn't take my secondary Medicaid even though he was on my mediicade provider list..so double check if they take your Medicare or Medicaid before going..
