Richard was very patient and kind! He was super supportive and amazing with his diagnosis and im so excited to have some pain relief come forward. Ive had some right shoulder pain for 3 months and I was relieved to see nothing showed up in my x-rays, and initially no mri was needed instead i was offered a cortisone shot and anti-inflammation. He then gave me thorough explanations as to go through with physical therapy because the pain medication would wear off eventually. Thank you richard!

This doctor does not care about his patients. He was ready to do my Rotator Cuff and changed his mind when I told them that my Insurance will come to my home to do PT.
They wanted to do it at the center. I can not go out 3 days a week for 6 weeks due to my disability and other doctors that I go to. They were well aware of my condition from the paper work I gave them when I first visit there. His secretary talked with me for 3 months prior. She was nice. I even went to get am MRI on my shoulder as requested. I had to pay out of pocket $115 for that MRI.
As soon as I told them that I can not go to their office and that my Insurance will do it as part of my plan for free. She was not nice at all and told me that Doctor Richard Woodworth said he can't and won't do the surgery. Then she said there was nothing we can do for you.
She was not so nice with that comment. He wanted the Insurance money for PT in their office. I called my Insurance Company and complained. They looked into it and my insurance company said his secretary said that I never came back. She straight up lied.
She told me there was nothing we can do for you since you can not come up here for PT. I kept telling her that my Insurance will come to my home. She did not care because she had orders from Dr. Richard Woodworth and she said she had to go. So I never got the shoulder fixed.
Then they lied to my Insurance company and said that I did not come back. As if it was my fault.

I guess you have to be rich to go there. As if Desert Orthopaedic Center can do the best PT. Not caring that I can not go out that many times and they think Aetna is not a good Insurance company for PT but Ok to get the money for the operation. He did work on Silver Knights and Las Vegas Aces that just tells me that this doctor is all about the money instead of the patient.

Dr Woodworth is exceptional. He has done 2 surgeries for me. Shoulder replacement & Total knee replacement. Both surgeries went well and I recovered quickly. The nurses called regularly to check on my progress and were always happy to answer questions and follow up with me when needed. I’ve only gone to one appt with Dr Woodworth. I was very impressed. Dr. was prompt, he had a great beside manner, and is very professional, he took his time explaining to me, what was going on with my hip. This is the second time, using Dr Woodworth, for shoulder surgery. First being my left shoulder. However I have had previous reconstruction of the right shoulder, so I’ll need replacement surgery, this time.
He’s very thorough and detailed, in his explanations. As an older female(74), I can’t take a chance of another reconstruction that may, or may not be, successful. This is the best option for me, going with replacement surgery.
Dr Woodworth is professional, experienced, empathetic, and has great beside manners. You won’t be disappointed.

It was my first time meeting Dr. Woodworth, and from the moment he walked into the examination room and introduced himself with a handshake 🤝 (a rarity these days), I knew I was in good hands.

He took the time to explain everything and assured me that the cortisone injection 💉 in my badly injured shoulder would not hurt. To my surprise, he was absolutely right! Never in my life have I received a cortisone injection without experiencing at least some discomfort, but this time there was none at all. 👏🏽

Thank you, Dr. Woodworth, for providing first-class medical care and making what could have been a stressful experience a positive one. I look forward to continuing my treatment plan with you, whether it ultimately involves surgery or not.
