I recently had a superb deep cleaning done by Keosha Alcinnat, Hygenist at Rocksprings Dental Group. Superb is not an adjective I would typically link with teeth cleaning. However, Keosha did such a fantastic and extremely thorough job, it’s on another plane. I have had a few deep cleaning before but after what she did, I now know that they were only perfunctory. Her addition to this excellent dental office makes it better for us.

Been coming here for 4-5 years. I find that their procedures are always more modernized than other offices. They tend to be ahead of other dentists when it comes to technology. Staff is always nice, office is clean, they honor scheduled appointments so you're not waiting all day, and they work with you financially if need be. This place is a scam! They see me every 6 months for cleaning, and now suddenly they are saying I have Gum disease and I need surgery and a deeper cleaning. Beware!

Please do not go here, they are such a scam. First of all, they have left me waiting in the room for hours every time I've gone, I never see the doctor until hours into my appointment. As you can see on other reviews, they ALSO refused to give me a regular cleaning before getting a deep clean. I went to my new dentist on Washington where they said I only could use a partial deep clean, a regular cleaning would still be of use until then. Rock Springs tried to upsell me to the laser and irrigation which is not covered by insurance, so I was under the impression I was never going to get a cleaning unless I fork over $400. That was incorrect. My insurance fully covers a deep clean. Now, the fact that they are filing incorrect amounts to my mother's insurance shows their true colors of trying to price gauge and I am so glad I did not give them my money.
My husband had also went in and put a deposit down for some dental work. We had NOT called to ask for a refund, we just had not scheduled anything yet- But for some reason, they mailed us back our money. It was sent to our old house because we did not coordinate this! Now it's been at least 4 weeks, and we are still waiting on this supposed check because the manager doesn't know where it is!
This business used to be ran well many years ago when I first came, but it has gone extremely downhill.
Update- after 2 months of calling and asking where our check was, I finally had to threaten a civil lawsuit and received the check a week later. The check was marked as overnighted on the 24th. I'm not sure why it wasn't overnighted four weeks ago. They were never planning on giving us our money back. The business manager Evelyn kept saying "they" don't tell us when they mail checks. No business in America mails money without documenting the check number and where it is and when. She is full of nonsense. I talked to patient relations who said it was an internal system. So there was no "they." Glad we got our money back. Please do not go here.

I'm so happy I decided to go with Rocksprings for all my dental needs after moving to this area awhile back. The level of care and professionalism is astonishing to say the least. Dr Justina Hernandez DMD and Mahtab Tahvili RDH (Dentist and Hygienist, respectively) are very personable and treat you like family here. They take the time to go over every dental need you may have with great detail and carefully explain to you the best treatment plans available to you. You never feel like your left in the dark here. They are very knowledgeable and extremely talented. I had two zirconia crowns and a deep cleaning performed so far with no complications, pain or setbacks. Their work has been gentle and thorough at the same time. Today I went back for my regular periodontal maintainance/cleaning visit with Mahtab. She does such a good job. Leaving this office today it occurred to me that dentist appointments are no longer something I dread but instead something I really appreciate. This wouldn't be the case without the wonderful staff of Rocksprings Dental Group... Kudos!

My first visit today as new patient. I was pleasantly surprised as wasn't sure what to expect. I had been going to the same family dentist for many years but had to change due to distance on other side of town and not taking my new insurance.
Everyone here was very friendly and courteous stating with the receptionist. Dr Hernandez was very thorough and informative and has great bedside manner. And the hygienist was exceptional. Gentle and experienced. Very happy with my new dental care for my family.

I went here because they had a special for people like me who don’t have dental insurance. I found them going off reviews in the area. When I got there and checked in, they told me to sign in and they will check me in. I waited for 30mins. David the DA then took me to a room for X-rays. Once he was done, told me to sit and wait until a room was ready. This is now 45mins into my appointment. I then got put in a room in the back, he told me the doctor would be in soon. I proceeded to wait another 20mins. Once the doctor got in she told me that I needed a deep cleaning, said that I needed to do this laser and mouth rinse medication. My cost out of pocket was over $1000 for a deep cleaning. I was floored, told them I’ll think about it. They kept my new patient charge even though I waited longer to see the doctor, versus talking to the doctor. She popped in for 5mins asked if I had concerns and then proceeded to say I have gum disease and if I don’t take care of it, my teeth can fall out. I am 27 years old, always had a six month cleaning, lost my insurance shut saw their ad and tried to get my basic cleaning. As I was leaving they asked me to leave a review and I can get something free, so I slimmed the wheel and got a gift card.. I said I will later on….& I left and I went to get a second opinion with a dentist down the street on Lake Mead the next day, and I was told I just needed a prophalaxies which is a basic cleaning. I asked the other doctor if I had gum disease and he told me no, I only have wear and tear from grinding, but I have no gum disease. He took an instrument and said he measured my gums and I was only 2s,3s and one or two 4s. (Whatever that means). But Rocksprings never measured my gums; but told me I had gum disease.
BEWARE!!! They upscale, upcharge and use scare tactics to get you to do additional work! GET A SECOND OPINION!!! Protect your wallet! They just want you to pay pay and pay and falsely diagnose. My new dentist told me report them and I did to the Nevada Dental Board about false diagnosis!! !!

I referred my dad to this dental office because I personally had a good experience here. I truly regret that decision.

My dad went in for extractions and dentures. The surgery itself and the surgeon did a great job, but everything else was absolutely horrible.

First, they forgot to fit him for his healing dentures and had to rush it at the last minute. Second, they constantly gave him the runaround when scheduling his surgery because nobody seemed to know what was going on, which is literally their job. The process should have been simple and stress-free for the patient, and it was the complete opposite.

The worst part was the healing dentures themselves. They were horribly made and did not align at all. When he smiled, the top dentures shifted to the side and the front teeth did not line up with the bottom teeth. It caused him jaw pain and discomfort.

When he went back to explain his concerns, he was told that they were “only temporary” and that he would have to pay extra to get them fixed, even though it was clearly their mistake.

We later took him to another dentist, who told us how bad the dentures were and recommended that we report this to the dental board. That is something we are seriously considering so this does not happen to someone else.

Starting the denture process is already difficult and emotional enough. This office made that experience ten times worse. I would not recommend this place to anyone, especially for something as serious as dentures.

I recently called the office with a somewhat unusual question — I had a new, fancy toothbrush and a laundry list of questions about its functionality and care routine. Evelyn picked up the call and immediately went above and beyond. She took the time to look up my toothbrush's exact model number, researched its specific features, and gave me thoughtful advice on the best mode to use, the ideal bristle head, and an optimal brushing strategy. I would strongly discourage anyone who needs serious dental work from going to Rocksprings Dental Group. Their business model is all about upselling and there's little to no concern about the long term dental health of their patients. I've had four dentists, including 2 specialists, work on my tooth and have been unable to get a straight answer as to why my tooth went from needing a crown to needing a root canal to needing being extracted within a span of 3 months. If your teeth are important to you, avoid at all cost.

Update: one year later, I still have problems due to botched root canal therapy I received at Rocksprings Dental Group. My experience with Rocksprings Dental wasn't one star kind of bad but suing them for malpractice kind of bad.

Update: two years later, I'm left with permanent swelling in my face and permanent numbness on the right side of my mouth due to the root canal therapy I had at Rocksprings Dental Group. Avoid at all cost.

Please take the bad reviews to heart, they are a corporate outfit, interesting in maximizing profits only and they do NOT care about your well being or have any professional ethics whatsoever. Going there for treatment will likely damage your teeth and compromise your oral health in the long term.

The good "reviews" must be from Las Vegas natives who have grown up with abysmal dentists and doctors and don't know any better.

In 2021, I visited the dental office - Rocksprings Dental Group I and received two crowns for my teeth. They recommended a crown that came with a five-year warranty, stating it was the best option available. Unfortunately, one of the crowns fractured after three years in 2024, and I developed an infection under the other, resulting in a cost of $3,000 for treatment. Upon recalling the warranty for my crown, I contacted the office, only to be informed that it was not covered. Additionally, I was told that the dentist who had performed the procedure was no longer employed there. They declined to take responsibility and have since refused to respond to my inquiries. The new dentist I consulted after the crown broke indicated that the previous work had damaged my teeth and criticized the professionalism of the prior dental practice. The entire procedure ultimately cost me over $6,000.

Amazing doctors and staff! Everyone was super friendly and they made sure i was knowing what was being done throughout the whole entire process. From past experiences most doctors want you in and out but here at rocksprings dental they really took their time to understand my needs and offer the best solutions possible at the best prices as well! As someone left with permanent facial swelling due to subpar botched root canal therapy by Rocksprings Dental group I find the recent spate of 5 star ratings by google users with an extremely low number of reviews highly suspicious. I would again like to warn anyone needing serious dental work to stay away from this place for their own safety and health.

I would also like to add that I have permanent numbness in half on my mouth and my cheek area. Conveniently, the butcher who catastrophically failed to adequately and competently perform root canal therapy is no longer with Rocksprings as are all of the incompetent dentists who harm the patients at Rocksprings Dental who then "no longer" work there. I cannot stress enough to not use their services and if you are, to look for a different dental practice.

Two weeks ago was my first time coming here, and it really exceeded my expectations. The front staff was friendly, xray process was personable and friendly, and the dentist was friendly, informative, personable and really cared for my well being. I felt taken care of and they made sure I understood everything that was happening along the way with the dental issues I had. I’m really happy I found this location and absolutely have been recommending them to my family and friends, so it says a lot the overall experience. I typically hate the dentists, it’s not a fun experience for me usually overall, but this location and staff has made it bearable( the pain because again, hate going to dentist for this purpose) and enjoyable . Thank you so much for being a great facility to go to.
