Madonna does a thorough cleaning and communicates well regarding her observations and suggested corrective measures. The last several visits, I have had to wait for over 1/2 hour after my arrival for my cleaning to start. Amazing 😍 it's not too often that people can probably comment ongoing to the dentist being amazing.But it's the people that work there that make it so fabulous Jacob is a newcomer to this practice, but he is so sweet and so kind.Madana is the best dental hygienist that I've never been to. Terrible!! I have been going to rose family dentistry for the past 2 year and not one claim has been submitted to my dental insurance. I have health insurance and all the dentistry work has been billed to my health insurance and whatever my health insurance does not cover they have been telling me to pay the remaining balance which is wrong because they were not even submitting to my dental insurance. And even after countless times of calling and calling to figure it out all i receive are excuses instead of actually trying to fix the issue! Not to mention if you are actually coming to ROSE family dental to see dr.ROSE goodluck! Even with insurance everything is so expensive and something is just not right! Think twice before making an appointment here. I would give ZERO stars if i could. The office staff just blames everything on billing and its just a merry go round never any answers.

Had to change my review. After 18 years as a patient, they went corporate. Suddenly, I had “deep pockets” and needed special laser cleaning, which was not covered by insurance. When I told Melissa that I couldn’t tell where my health care ended and the upsell began, she was rude and dismissive. Having now gone to a new dentist, I’m happy to report a miracle occurred! I no longer have “deep pockets pockets” that require specialized cleanings.

Avoid. They will do unnecessary procedures to get more money out of you.

The clinic itself: I feel I have received good care at Rose Family Dentistry. Melissa is excellent as always - friendly, efficient, and helpful.

Dental Hygienists and Dentist: I would request that the dental hygienists and dentists educate patients. In the chair, the patient hears that "No. 34" or some such verbiage, but unless the patient asks, there is no explanation of what any of that means. I have found that the hygienists have a wealth of knowledge, which is only shared if the patient asks questions. In my last appt. I asked the hygienist a question about the numbers that she was recording regarding my gums and that opened a dialogue wherein I learned a lot about caring for my teeth in general.

Edith is insufferable. I am not sure what her role is in the clinic, but I find that she invalidates my concerns. I prefer to not deal with her, as our interactions will not be productive or conducive to a good visit.

Dr. Byard: At every single visit, he walks in and mispronounces my name. Every time. I would recommend that he develop a system wherein patient's names are written out and phonetically front-facing for him or he stops trying to pronounce and just use a morning greeting in lieu of trying to pronounce a name.

There seems to be a high turnover with hygienists, but that's another story.

After years of positive reviews I am changing this from 5 star to 1 star because this practice has greatly changed. The former office manager is no longer there and Dr Rose himself seems to seldom treat patients. This summer I was charged for a crown that they were unable to fit over three visits. I am still waiting for my hundreds of dollars to be returned so I can pay my new dentist. Be careful, get everything in writing before paying them large sums of money!

I have been going to Rose for many years for cleanings. But they recently got new hygienists that just tell everyone they have gum disease, try to sell you a $180 electric tooth brush, and tell you antibiotics aren’t covered by insurance. I have never had a cavity in my life and I doubt I have gum disease as bad as Madonna acts like I do. She is too dramatic. I hope Rose knows what’s going on with his hygienists.

Excellent care and service as usual! I was very favorably impressed by the newly hired but highly experienced (18 years experience) dental hygienist. She was gentle but thorough and explained her findings and recommendations for further care extremely well. I’ve always been happy with Rose Family Dentistry since my family started going there about 8 years ago. It is truly a gem which unfortunately is somewhat rare in the Las Vegas area. I’m a clinician myself and hold myself and my own care providers to a very high standard and Rose Family Dentistry has never disappointed me. Thank you Dr. Rose and all of your great staff!

I can't believe after all the years...
I been using a water pik,, flossing, brushing twice a day and cleaning my mouth gaurd every morning. Just to come in to be told I need a deep cleaning and told I have bone loss lol like really by looking at a old xray. I said I wanted a regular cleaning. Ugh. Why did i not walk out!!!!! I should have walked out! My mouth will never be the same!!! My gums are so screwed now!!! Its all about making the MONEY!! I swear the lady purposely screwed my gums up. Do not go to Rose Family. I know many who stopped going. To think I referred many too. Damn. I got to make phone calls now to have them stop going too!!

Dr Rose has been my dentist for the least 25 yrs. He is very gentle, and I just had a crown procedure yesterday and I didn’t feel a thing through the whole treatment. He has been treating my kids since they were born. I highly recommend Rose dentistry. For all your dental needs it’s where I send all my patients!

I was really disappointed by the ultimatum. Do the deep cleaning now or go. The hygienist said how easy it would be now, 30 minutes only. Then they proposed billing my insurance and me an additional $600.

So I left and am finding a new dentist.

Sam was great for my deep cleaning. However, I was shocked what the cost was going to be after my insurance. I understand it was extra 190 for the laser but everything else seemed kind of high. I'm a senior citizen and at vibrant, for example I have had basic cleanings for $80
Over $400 for just half my teeth done here. But it was a good job she did

Used to be a great office until a new woman who's very rude began answering phones and scheduling appointments this year. She lectured me when they didn't hold my last two appointments after I waited for months. I've sent multiple emails over the past month asking if I have a balance because I don't plan to return. I specifically requested Lauren as my dental hygienist and rescheduled so she could clean my teeth. I was advised after arrival she had a family emergency but no one called me to let me know that she was not available.
