I had a 10 appt showed up 15 minutes before as requested. Did the kiosk then waited, called to the desk for co-pay sent to another waiting room. Called in to read eye chart showed to another waiting room. Called in to do pressure test showed to another waiting room. Called into another room told to wait for the dr. At this point it's been an hour 45 minutes!! He came in for 10-15 minutes and said come back next year!! Not going to happen. The wait is like a cattle call

Overall, I had a very positive experience at this office. The doctor and medical staff were kind, professional, and made me feel comfortable throughout my visit. The office itself was clean and well organized.

The only downside was the front reception experience. One of the younger receptionists came across as consistently unfriendly and dismissive toward patients, which unfortunately affects the welcoming atmosphere of the office.

Aside from that, the care I received from the medical team was excellent.

I freakin love this place. Quick check in on the kiosk. I was seen in a timely manner. I do, however, think the girls at the front desk should be more visible. The counter is too high, they can’t see the door to welcome patients in.Dr Mancuso was kinda grumpy and impatient the first time I saw him. But, the second time he was more mellow. Dr Adler is amazing. Both doctors were fantastic. I am so glad to be a patient here.

I have been going to Shepherd Eye since the beginning of 2007 and have been extremely satisfied with their services, including Cataract surgery on both eyes and most recently the Laser treatment to correct the pressure in both eyes. The results will not be available for a few weeks. The staff is pleasant and the ones doing the testing are imo very competent.

This is a very busy office but very efficient so my appointment was on time. I highly recommend them because they provide all the services that you might need, and the doctors are highly knowledgeable. They will recommend the patient to one of their specialists when necessary.
I went for a diabetic eye exam, and they have all the necessary testing on-site.
I plan on keeping them as my experienced eye doctors.

I take my elderly mom to her eye appointments. She has to do 3 eye test before seeing the actual doctor. The techs moved her through efficiently and as quick as possible. A lot better than a few years ago. Her new doc was kind to her and took his time explaining things to her and me.

Back in April, I was diagnosed with a slipped lens in my right eye, I went to the Shepherd eye center on Rampart and Lake Meade where they examined my eye and took pictures of the eye and lens. I was told that they would have to do surgery to repair it and that would be done by another doctor at the Pecos location. They only had one doctor that did this type of surgery and the earliest I could get in was July 30 because he went on vacation. I was to be there at 7:30am and surgery was at around 8am. The doctor then told me that this was just for an office visit and that I would have to be measured for a new lens---there was no surgery. I told him that that had been done in April and that they had taken pictures of the eye and everything already. He hadn't even looked at my chart and it wasn't until I "suggested" that he pull up the pictures and read what had already been done that he finally looked at the pictures and read my file. This was very poor communication among the doctors. Now I have to wait until Aug. 3 to go back to Rampart and start all over and it will be another 2-3 weeks before they can repair my eye. I have been walking around and trying to work with one eye for over 3 months.

Dr. Reddy is a fabulous eye doctor who made my visit feel less stressful than I anticipated as well as for her caring staff! I had a SDMT Glaucoma procedure & the visit was quick & satisfying to me! The entire staff is kind and caring. Dr. Lam Le is wonderful. I just had my second cataract surgery and everything went smoothly. I see great the colors are brighter i can see without glasses. I will need reading glasses but that is OK. I was afraid to go out at night because I couldn't see now I can go out at night and see perfect. I got my freedom back and that is the best feeling ever. I feel really good about my experiences at Shephard Eye Ctr on Pecos-McLeod. They keep a highly organized schedule so everything is in place and on time. The front desk staff and referral desk are highly efficient and professional. They gave me a referral and before I left their office, the referral was approved and scheduled for me. I met a newly added Dr. to join the team. He is Dr. Le, and Opthemologist/MD. Super nice, smart and easy to talk to. Great listener. I am so happy I met him to help with my eye issues. He is easy going and doesn't act like he is God.

Doctors and staff are knowledgeable and friendly, very professional. I've been seen at Shepherd for several years now. This appointment was with a new doctor as Carolyn Cruvant has retired. He was professional and friendly, but the question "why are you here today" is disconcerting when I'm just there for my annual exam. Shouldn't the doctor know why I'm there? Did he read my chart at all? I didn't feel that he was nearly as thorough as Doctor Cruvant and spent zero time getting to know a new patient to him and going over my records. The feeling I have is "get them in and out as fast as possible".

The volume of people being processed is overwhelming. I had a 2:40 appointment and wasn't seen until 4:30PM because they were behind schedule. My last appointment was the same. When I arrived at 2:30 for my appointment, it was standing room only in the waiting room. I suggest that to avoid being an hour or more behind schedule, maybe book fewer appointments? I literally spent 2 hours waiting to see the doctor for 5 minutes. I would prefer being treated like a patient rather than a cattle call being shuttled from one waiting room to the next. Always professionally done and organized, but still clearly just one more number of probably several hundred people for the week.

This place is a joke!!!!! I am texting for Joann she has alzhmers and when she went there her insurance was changed instead of being sure she understood they walked her up to the kiosk and and her pay $135 then after seeing the doctor they walked her back to the kiosk to charge another and some $200 dollars. I called to ask why this would happen especially when they could clearly tell she has a problem. They would not adjust her bill They told me if they would try to then she could get charged possibly more. Other people have told me they have left also. It always takes forever to see the doctor if it's the opthalmologist We thought she was seeing due to an eye injury and instead they had her see a optometrist.She is definitely not going back ever again

I arrived on time, 12:30. Was told to check in on the kiosk by an obviously overworked receptionist. I did that and asked her about the cost. She told me to wait and would be called.

So she called me at 12:45. I was told it would be 20-25 minutes before I would go back to see anyone (in medical talk that means 45 minutes), and then plan on spending 90-120 minutes there.

My time is as valuable as a doctor. I refused to spend my entire afternoon getting an eye exam. There were 3 patients called while I was waiting for the SAME doctor.

After the receptionist told me how long it would be I simply said "thanks for the information and said I was leaving."

This is a clinic in the worst way. I'll never return. Let me go to an office that cares about their patients.

Shepherd Eye Center really puts the 'HERD' in Shepherd. There were so many patients packed in the waiting room, it felt like an assembly line.

2nd appointment was scheduled at their other location (14 miles away). If I had known, I would have rescheduled. You’ll see your doctor for maybe 10 minutes.
Nursing staff does all testing but never really describes what’s happening. While definitely appreciated, I got an “everything looks good” and told to come back in 6 months. I’m the type that likes details.
Plus, Dr Theopolis was dressed in what looked like workout gear. I would expect a physician to be more professionally dressed.

After thorough testing, I learned I am not eligible for LASIK or PRK eye corrective surgery but a great candidate for EVO ICL. Dr. Hill and team are very experienced - they answered all of my questions and put me at ease for surgery. I recently had surgery and it was an overall great experience. Worst front desk experience I’ve had at a medical clinic. The receptionist refused to look at us, was rude when we asked a basic billing question, and made us feel like we were bothering her just by asking for clarification about a co-pay. Everything went well other than I had told them I already had my eyes checked by my ophthalmologist. But they decided that I needed to do it again which my insurance would not pay for it because I had previously done. So I ended up paying $50 more for my visit when all they had to do was check a cataract that had come back.

To whom it may concern at the shepherd's eye clinic on my first visit, i was very impressed how promptly I was attended to by the staff. There were no delays for each procedure in room that I was led to . I will say it's a very end. I was waiting for the Doctor to come in to discuss.

I've been a yearly patient of Shepherd eye on Pecos since before 2010 and had an outpatient Lazer procedure done to prevent glaucoma successfully. I made an appointment with them because I have visited them before. I changed my insurance from Humana to Alignment Health Care this year. I listed my new insurance on the form shepards sent and I thought everything was set. After my appointment I went to order my glasses only to find out that my insurance wasn’t accepted.
Why did they not inform me that my insurance wasn’t going to be accepted? So much for trusting them. No I have to pay for my visit. I call that unethical action on their part.
When you usually visit a doctors office, that’s the first thing they check.
I do not recommend them at all.

They were friendly not cold like some other medical offices I encountered. The girl running the tests on my eyes was very pleasant and then, Dr. Marshall Hill walks in with a big grin and introduced himself.

He is tall, handsome, and very nice. He explained everything thoroughly and I learned that a particular procedure was not recommended due to a past retinal detachment which is fine because my insurance wouldn’t cover it anyway.

All in all, this place was very professional and treated me with respect which is hard to find here in Vegas. I would recommend Shepherd Eye Center to everyone.

They are a very well oiled machine, be expecting to wait as they say on alllllll the times they remind you electronically. When I originally called and asked about co-pays etc...No Zero on the phone. When we arrived and of course two of us but some way to say "use of their equipment " 50.00 each, well say that on the phone or when referral was done. I have issues with chalazions in my eyes. Dr Hill treated me so well! I was prepared to have it cut out, as I’ve had them before, he prescribed me an antibiotic/steroid. Along with heat, I’m probably not going to have to back. Thankful he knew what to do.

Shepherd Eye Center on the Pecos-Mcleod Interconnect is a clean place with a quiet, pleasant atmosphere. The staff is polite and friendly and professional. The waiting rooms are big enough and comfortable. The doctor I saw for years just retired I was unhappy about that. The new doctor, Aaron Mancuso, is more quiet but he seems efficient and made sure he explained everything well. I think I will be just fine with him. On my last visit yesterday I saw Dr. Marshall Hill who will do my cataract surgery. He is young and friendly and made sure I understood what the surgery involves and answered all my questions. Really inspired confidence, I am not anxious about the surgery now. When I left Shepherd and got home I thought I had left some papers that were important. I called and a staff member Vivian answered. She asked a lot of questions then put me on hold while she tried to find someone who might have found the papers. She couldn't find them but she took up a lot of her time looking. That was going beyond the typical good service I thought. Shepherd Eye Center keeps the high rating I gave it.

I needed an appointment at short notice at the recommendation of my Primary Care Physician, when I called to make an appointment the lady I spoke with could not have been more helpful, she was great and found me a space.

I arrived at the location and found a parking space easily. The self check-in process was quick and straightforward. I was promptly spoken with, signed a consent form and I was guided to an inner waiting room. I was promptly called to an Exam room when my vision was tested and details checked.

I returned to the waiting area and was called to a further exam room where all my details were verified and further tests were done and my pupils dilated. A further short return led to me being called to another exam room where I had my consultation with my ophthalmologist, he was friendly, extremely thorough, very professional, and explained in detail, and clearly, what my issue was and how it was to be treated. I was given all the time needed and was not rushed.

From the outset, I have been extremely impressed with the service that was provided with at every step in the process. I cannot recommend this service provider more, they were exceptionally good.
