This Shepherd Eye Center location is run very efficiently. I have never gone in for an appt with only a few patients. It’s always packed in the waiting areas. However, a patient is called into the first room visit for an eye exam within the first 10-15 minutes of arriving. Then back to the waiting room for another 10 minutes or so until called for the 2nd room visit where eyes are dilated and given the pressure test. Back to the waiting room for another 10 minutes, and then you see the doctor in the 3rd room. All in all, it’s a 90 minute visit, but patients are well a ware of the time frame as there are signs posted informing patients of the 90-minute to 2-hour wait time. Staff is friendly, doctors are friendly, and patients are mellow and enjoy visiting with one another. Time goes quickly. The best part is that you can get in to see one of their 7-8 doctors within a couple of days, unless you have a specified doctor you want to see. That may take a couple of days longer.

I've been going to Shepherd Eye Ctr for about 7 years. They have an easy check-in process & I'm impressed with how timely and smooth their operation is. Staff is professional & well-organized. I've never had to wait long. The optical department is great & if you like your current frames and want to use them with a new optical prescription, they'll allow it (if the frames are still worthy). I've only been to the West Lake Mead location. I would bet that they are all as efficient as this location. Happy I gave them a try.

I love Eye Shepherd. I have been coming here for years. Dr. Ho is my Dr. and he is amazing and so is all the staff at all the Eye Shepherd 's I have been to. The great thing about Eye Shepherd is they are all around. The only down fall is they do not take my Blue Cross/Blueshield or Vision Insurance but I can take my prescription to my carrier but it would be good if they did. But I still love them and the great and precise work they do. But more so if you go there ask for Dr . Ho..he is amazing .

Friendly staff. Expect to spend 2 to 3 hours waiting and having tests run before seeing a doctor. Appointments needed. What takes so long is a tech calls your name for one test, then you wait for another tech to perform another test. Depending on how many tests are performed, you wait each time. Doctors are freindly and I love Dr. Peterson. He's caring, explains everything in detail and knowledgeable. He has been right about every diagnosis.

What an amazing experience! The staff were incredible and got me back in minutes. Dr. Dang was so thorough and explained everything clearly. I ended up having a detached retina, and they immediately called the retina center of Nevada to schedule an emergency procedure.
