It took me a year to find a dentist who accepted my insurance after moving to Las Vegas. Silverado Family Dental is not only close to where I live, but the staff there is remarkable. From Tiffany at the reception desk, to Lindsey who does the paient intake, to Jana the floating hygienist, Sabrina, Dr. Harris's assistant, and finally, Dr. Harris, my experience there was comfortable, easy, and enjoyable. Yes, I said enjoyable. Most people hate visiting the dentist, but I can honestly say that the staff at Silverado Family Dental are more like family or friends. The office is very attractive with cream colored leather chairs and clean, modern equipment. They have music playing over the speakers at just fhe right volume.

All of the staff members that I interacted with have amazing energy. Each of them is personable, outgoing, and friendly.

Dr. Harris has a gentle touch and is very warm and easy to talk to. he was very patient with me even after I coughed and
made him have to restart the filling process. He seems like a very kind and caring person.

I thought finding a dental office that was better than what I had in Hawaii would be difficult, but I can honestly say that the staff at Silverado Family Dental surpassed all of my expectations.

I have been coming to Silverado Family Dental for about 5 years now and while it has always been a pleasant experience from a simple cleaning to securing my implant when it was coming loose, today was exceptional. Everyone in this office is very professional and great at their job but today I had Yohel as my hygienist and Oh My God!!! This is THE BEST clean I have had in over two decades. Thourough doesn't even describe it. Incredible! Absolutely incredible! I always run my tongue on the base of my teeth where it meets the gum to feel for any plaque after a cleaning and I couldn't feel a single thing. I don't like the dentist, I don't think anyone does but today I felt seen. A simple dental clean made my day. Thank you Dr Barry, your wonderful team, and thank you Yohel for such a wonderful job.

I feel compelled to issue a review regarding this dental practice. Despite giving the facility two opportunities, my experiences were disappointing. Based on positive reviews, I anticipated a satisfactory experience; however, this was not the case. The process of coordinating with the insurance company involved frustrating phone tag. Although my insurance approved the procedures, a staff member named Tiffany claimed they would not cover the costs. To avoid further complications, I canceled an appointment one week in advance. And decided not to do business with this office as a whole. But I decided to give them another opportunity the following week for my business. Subsequently, I contacted the office to schedule the dental work that was needed to move forward. Ok, the appointment is set unfortunately, I received a call regarding a family emergency the next morning that I need to fly out of town for. When I attempted to reschedule, Tiffany informed me that I would be charged a $50 fee for canceling without the required 48-hour notice, despite having scheduled the appointment only the previous day. Overall, I find the customer service to be inadequate and unacquainted with standard insurance procedures along with proper communication skills needed to address customers concerns

It’s unfortunate that I have to give this office one star because I have been a faithful client for almost a decade. The dentist are all super sweet and very professional. However, the women that run the front desk over the last 3 to 4 years do not care anything about being friendly or providing any customer service. I questioned whether my daughter needed x-rays, and the woman at the front checking us in, took it upon herself to try and humiliate my husband and I for daring to ask questions and even made the comment that it is the law for a child of five years old to get x-rays. I am absolutely overwhelmed by the treatment, kindness, and care from everyone at this office.

I was SERIOUSLY overdue for a root canal with a painful cavity and a broken tooth. I was really worried about being able to afford fix it, and even more concerned about being able to save the tooth.

If you notice on their website, they accept more dental insurance and discount plans than anyone else I've ever seen. Because that stuff can be complicated, I reached out for assistance, and they were so helpful in guiding me to the right plan from the company I was researching.

They got me in immediately, and I had a completely painless root canal and same day crown for a rate that was HALF of the next cheapest option (which was also a discounted plan through a different provider). I was absolutely blown away.

Everyone from the front office to the dentist is friendly, knowledgeable, and you can tell they truly care about their patients.

It had been over 10 years since I’d been to the dentist, and my mouth was a mess. From the first appointment, the team at Silverado Family Dental treated me with so much respect and compassion. I was embarrassed and nervous, but when I started crying at my first visit, my hygienist hugged me and reassured me that everything was going to be okay—and that when we were done, I’d be able to smile again.
Throughout my treatment (which included an upper denture and two partials for the bottom), every appointment has been comfortable and supportive. My dentist is wonderful about explaining everything in detail before starting, always making sure I’m comfortable and doing okay during each procedure.

I had the best experience with Dr. Berry and Trish the assistant. He was very kind and gentle. He went over everything. They are both Amazing and made sure I was good & comfortable through the whole procedure. Thanks to Shelly and the ladies up front too. Went back for my partial fitting. Disgusted with the place, because I went to make a quote for a procedure. They gave me a quote and he agreed to give it to me. After they did it to me, they charged me DOUBLE what appeared in the quote. I contacted the Insurance and they told me that I didn’t have to pay what they charged me but the first quote. I wish I would’ve known about this dentist office when I was younger! Minimal to zero pain during a root canal, even the numbing shot! Before at other dentists, I had extreme pain and dentists not knowing what they were doing. This is probably the best dentist office I’ll ever visit! They make you comfortable and even hide the tools out of your sight line so you don’t get jumpy or scared.

THEY DON'T GO TO THIS PLACE, THEY ARE DISHONEST.

Approximately 6 months ago I went to this place to fix 2 teeth that I needed to repair, the procedure and everything was very good but 1 day before they gave me an invoice with the price I had to pay which was $113 dollars (presenting my insurance) but when they performed the procedure they charged me $163 even when they had already given me a written quote of the price, Obviously I refused to pay the extra amount that they charged me for no reason... (they said it was a mistake... but today, 6 months later, my husband went to have his teeth cleaned in which they removed 2 cavities... just like the previous one procedure they gave him the quote a day before which was $35... oh surprise! a day later they charged him double for no reason with the explanation that (he was wrong) oh really? 2 times the same mistake in their favor? I don't know, I feel that they are doing this with habit... in what to my knowledge it is perceived as THEFT, because if they make a mistake the client is not the one who should assume the error, in addition to the fact that the "supposed" has been repetitive " mistake.

There were 2 clearly more difficult procedures to perform but logically we are not going to return... since they always provide a wrong quote in which the client must pay double (just after having done the procedure) and strangely they are always wrong in favor of they.

I have had a dental nightmare for about 5 years now, partly due to my former dentist in New York State. Since moving here a year ago, I started to resolve the issues. Dentist no. 1 was a three-visit, pull and throw everything out and start all over again. Costs were never truly estimated but the best guesstimate was between $6000 and up, dependent how long I was willing to go without "final" teeth. Yikes! After a referral to Silverado Family Dental, I was mentally prepared for more of the same. Imagine my surprise when, on the first visit, I received a complete review of the work that needed to be done, estimated cost of said work, how much my dental insurance would cover and what I would need to pay out of pocket. In addition, I got a basic time line. Two implants and a final plate later, I could not be happier! The artifical teeth fit like they are my own (yes, there were minor adjustments to get there). I recently had an issue with two upper teeth and, within a day, two teeth removed, partial modified, and I am good to go! Love these people - so friendly and caring every step of the way. If I could I would give them 100 stars Asa rating

My experience everytime is amazing!
All the employees are so kind and polite and you never hear or see them being judgemental to anyone in regards to whatever someone is there for. They always maintain professionalism and take the time to make sure your okay. I was traumatized as a kid years ago at the last dentist and had so much anxiety going back. They have made me feel better about going to see a dentist again and I highly recommend them to all my friends and family.

I’ve been with Silverado Dental since 2006 and it’s been a great experience. Dr. Garth Harris has been wonderful and my son is now being seen by him and Debbie. Susie has cleaned my teeth now for the past two visits. My son and I go together and Debbie arranged for the both of us to be seen at the same time.

Let’s be honest! No one really likes going to the dentist, but I love going to Garth Harris’s office. From the time you walk in the door you feel welcomed! I have been going to his office for over 20 years. Him and his staff are amazing! He did my mom’s dentures (which turned out beautiful) and even fixed my sister in laws dentures that broke during her visit in just one day!
I would recommend them to anyone. Plus he is affordable when you do not have insurance!!!
