it was ok from the start however lately is it due to healthcare changes that practice not good anymore??! all about systems upgrade that service deteriorates emails not even acknowledged and stat referrals not timely processed as well as no notification to patients? 👎 not much effort of care

She's a nice lady but a serious lack of effort when it comes to patient care. If I had listened to her about an infection in my foot I probably would of lost my foot by amputation. I've asked her many medical questions over 10 different appointments and she usually says she doesn't know and that it's up to me.

I have been going here since I moved here and really am glad I found a doctor who I like and trust. So much so, my husband sees her as well. Their staff are kind and professional. Their office is immaculately clean. Parking is so easy and great location! Since going to Dr Kim I have had great resources to get me back on a healthy track. Both of my parents have been under Dr. Sion Kim’s care at this Intermountain Healthcare location — and it’s absolutely been the best.

While we started off at this practice because of the proximity to their house, we stayed because they’re so good at what they do.

We started off there with Dr. Lahar and NP Sandy Holder, who were both also fantastic, but when they left and Dr. Kim — she’s Korean and is fluent in Korean — replaced him, I was ecstatic because my parents, in their old age, are not as fluent in English as they used to be. Being able to converse directly with the doctor has been so meaningful to them.

I’ve also had one opportunity to meet Dr. Huey (the newest doctor to the practice) and he was extremely polite and efficient.

There is always plenty of parking and never a long wait in the spacious waiting room. I don’t think I’ve ever seen more than 2-3 patients waiting, and usually it’s just us or one more patient.

I’ve never felt rushed out by the doctor as you sometimes feel at other doctors’ offices; Dr. Kim spends ample time with my parents and answers all of their questions, even when it’s sometimes off-topic or weird. They also schedule long appointments to make this possible, given it’s an office focused on senior patients.

I find their front office a little aloof, but I’m not there to make friends so I can’t say I actually care. Their back office staff members have usually been excellent.

My dad recently passed away in September, but his life was at least five years longer than I had anticipated when I moved my parents to Nevada. A good portion of this was, no doubt, due to the care that Dr. Kim and her staff provided. Anytime I called with a new symptom, new issue — she has never failed to reach back out to me quickly to get me what I needed for him. Even through the hospice phase, Dr. Kim was there for us and made sure we had what we needed — and I won’t forget that.
