My girls had the best experience! Dr. Nielson and his team were very kind and gentle with my nervous toddlers. He was incredibly patient with my screaming toddler and so genuine throughout the entire appointment. His knowledge put my mind at ease after dealing with a traumatic mouth injury with my 3 year old. All of the dental assistants are absolutely fabulous. I have never had a bad experience with any of them. They truly live up to their name as a children’s dental office because they treat your children like children. They understand that kids can come in feeling scared, nervous, or anxious, and they know exactly how to make them feel comfortable and safe.

My 6-year-old daughter had to have a procedure done today that required in-office oral sedation for a filling on a molar. She was extremely nervous coming in, and honestly, so was I. But once we got into the room, Dr. Truman did a marvelous job treating her. I was truly blown away by the patience, care, and professionalism he showed my daughter.

I am so grateful for this practice and their doctors. There is absolutely no doubt in my mind about the trust I have in this team and the care they provide.

We have also previously seen Dr. Audrey, and she has been just as wonderful…

I wish nothing but continued success and many blessings upon this practice and everyone who works here. Thank you all sooo much for everything you do!

The DRs work is great never complaints on that. I took my kids this week and 1 needs 1 filling. Insurance covers it all 100% I've had done before (at another office) they're telling me Oral sedation is NOT covered, the liquid kids drink then wait 45 min. So I verified with insurance they gave me dental code to give office.
Mind you office lady is annoyed because im adamant its covered.
So few days pass and I call to give code... I was placed on hold 12 minutes and 3 ladies get on phone all telling me its not covered but didnt input the code the insurance gave me.
Then told me can we email your xrays and go where it was covered.
Found new office and guess what.... covered.

I’ve been going to Smile Reef for almost 10 years with all 3 of my boys. I won’t go anywhere else. I also love that there is an exam room that has 3 chairs to accommodate all of them at the same time so that we don’t have to be separated during our appointment. Everyone we’ve ever come in contact with has been nothing but kind and wonderful. Every staff member is great with kids and I wouldn’t trust any other pediatric dentist! This place is amazing. My daughter is 7 and we got to the dentist 3-4 times a year. Everything about this place is great the staff, the facility is clean. So glad we found this dentist. I have taken my 3 kids to smile reef since they were very young and now they are teens. We absolutely love the staff and Doctors. We never wait long and they can schedule the kids together to make it easy on parents with multiples. We seen Dr Truman and assistant Joe the past year or two and they are always so kind and make it comfortable with friendly conversations. We have seen Joe alot and hes always fun and smiling even under his mask 😷 makes my girls comfortable and calmer, plus o enjoy his conversations. All the technicians are super kind and really care about their patients. Ill be sad to leave when my kids are grown and need adult dentistry. Absolutely top choice!

The staff was amazing to my son and I. The dentist came out before my son’s surgery and asked if I had any questions or concerns, then the anesthesiologist, Amanda, came out and explained her procedure to me as well. Altogether we were here for about 2 and a half hours. I will always come back to this office!! Thank you!! Smile Reef Pediatric Dentistry has been the best dental home for Arjuna. He’s been coming here since he was about 9, after we tried a few other dentists before finding the right fit.

Because Arjuna is on the spectrum, many places told me I’d need to pay over $1,000 to put him fully to sleep just to examine him. At Smile Reef, they truly understand their patients. Arjuna only needed laughing gas, and he did amazingly well.

We are so grateful for Dr. Sodhi and the entire team—their patience, kindness, and care mean everything to our family.

Dr Amanda and staff were very patient, thorough, and professional. My son is a liver transplant child and is pretty traumatized when it comes to getting stuck with needles or being held down. They were very understanding and patient with him even with him fighting them the whole time they were putting him to sleep and they let me be in the room to help comfort him until he was sedated. I am very pleased with how well they dealt with the chaos without making us feel bad or like a burden. It is very hard for us to do some of the things that may seem not so bad for others. We took all the kids for teeth cleaning, x-rays, and an overall clean teeth exam. Each of our children did really well. The staff were super friendly and put all the kids at ease. Our daughter did have a cavity that she needs to get taken care of and we need to wait for her to get her braces off in a couple weeks and then we’ll come back and have her dental work done. I have been taking my child here since they were in 1st grade. The office staff is very kind always. However, the two male dentists have always been rude to my children. They sit there and complain about them not opening big enough, squirming around, or them making noise while being worked on. They complain out in the open like they’re alone it’s so weird. They’ve also made comments saying the behavior they are displaying is not normal implying they’re special needs. (They aren’t). I’ve never said anything to them because unfortunately this office is one of the only ones that takes their insurance. I feel horrible that my children are treated so badly with their rude remarks. There are two newer dentists and Dr. Audrey has been extremely kind to my children. I will keep making appointments only with her. Thank you for making them feel less scared of going to the dentist you are amazing Dr. Audrey.

I truly can not say enough good things about this office. I have a 3 year old that needed major work done and had 3 dentist fail at even being able to get X-rays. I live 2 hours away but was referred by a friend to this office. This was my last resort before having to put my kid under general anesthesia which I really didn’t want to do. First visit, had X-rays done in 15 min. Super organized, effecient and very friendly accommodating staff. I got her consult and came back 3 weeks later for treatment today. She was given a mild sedative orally and then had nitrous oxide. It all went perfect and they had my daughters treatment done in 45 min and we were done. She is now playing at home. I can’t thank this office enough for their expertise and just exceptional care!!

This office is so nice and clean. They have a beautiful fish tank and play area for the kids. The sitting area is cozy and they have lots of movies playing everywhere. My kids actually like coming here and the staff and dentists are so nice! I recommend them to everybody!!

Just took my daughter here to her first dentist appointment and she absolutely LOVED IT. One of the best experiences I’ve had. Staff was absolutely amazing and welcoming. My appointment was at 3 and I got there early around 2:30. They took us back right away. Didn’t even wait 1 minute for the doctor. Definitely happy with this place :)

We have been taking our three kids to Smile Reef for three years now. The front office staff is thoughtful and informative. The hygienists are the perfect combination of patient with the young kids and meticulous in their cleaning! And the dentist we usually see, Dr. Sodhi, is truly spectacular! She's the kind of doctor who has your child giggling through a filling. Dr. Sodhi is the only one who can talk my incredibly anxious child through dental procedures. Knowledgeable, kind, and composed - we feel so lucky to have our children in her care!

My teens have been seeing Dr. Jensen, since they were toddlers and I won't take them anywhere else until theyre adults! Erika has also been the very best! I'm sad she won't be at the Flamingo location anymore due to Dr. Jensen opening another location.

From what I gathered, simply attempting to make an appointment, is that this company is far too busy to take any new patients, and their admin is thoroughly trained in being rude, condescending, and snappy to detour any new business. lol good job $12/hr front desk girl- I’m sure the dentist is so proud of that nasty little attitude driving away customers.

All 3 of my kids are autistic. The girls always schedule my kids appointments together which is convenient for me. Plus they put them all in the same room so I can be with all my kiddos while they have their dental visit. On top of that the girl Kaliea took the time to look in the bag and make sure the tooth brushes were the same yet different colors for my girls. They really are about my family . I've been going here for years and highly recommended anyone to come here especially those with autistic kids. The sensory is great. The office has alot of colors it isn't boring. Update: We needed an urgent visit for my daughter and they were able to get us in same day! My daughter got really upset hearing she needed a tooth removed and Dr Sodhi got on her level and took time to explaining everything in simple terms and calmed her down!

Atmosphere is upbeat and fun. The dental assistant Jose did an amazing job explaining each step and really getting my kids on board with the process. This is the first time they left a dentist smiling still.

Hi Everyone, this dentist practice doesn't even deserve a one star rating. The receptionist at this office is something to be desired. This place is all about the money. They trick you, they tell you the insurance approves the dental work. Come to find out they lied. I'm happy I found out the truth before I took my son for dental surgery. The surgery center that they send you to says parents have no say and they can do what they want. And they dont have to tell us what goes on behind closed doors. This dentist also tells you there going to do one thing and bill you for something completely different. PLEASE BEWARE!!!!! They're also not good with autistic children. Don't walk run find a better dentist!!!!!

Been going here for over 4 years now and they are the best! My kids aren't afraid to come get their teeth cleaned and the girls working here are so warm and friendly! The doctors are very informative when explaining things and the kids love getting the gold coins at the end of the appt. Bonus is the amazing playroom and the fun decorations they put up, like their Halloween pumpkins!! Definitely recommend!

Great dental office and very kid friendly! They have a room with two chairs and a room with 3 chairs that makes it easy for parents with multiple kids. The front desk is helpful with my insurance and considerate when it comes to scheduling. Very friendly atmosphere. Definitely recommend :)

The receptionist at the front desk seems very rude and has a horrible attitude. She’s very condescending and treats you as though you’re annoying her for even calling to schedule the appointment. Ironically enough I had the same issue a few years back at this same dental office. They need new front desk women because this shouldn’t be an ongoing issue with so many people.

My grandson went to this dental office today and for a professional service they were definitely lacking in compassion. They claimed to work with autistic children but I think that they didn’t really have the experience needed to treat autistic kids. Also the woman at the front desk is a bit rude and seemed annoyed by the customers. She might be better suited for back office work. Maybe they treat everyone like this. I’ll also share this post with the autism community.

Been coming here since my daughters were little, they love it so much and can’t wait for their next appointment every time. They make their patients feel comfortable and I love the fact that they have a television showing movies for the little ones that are afraid, distracts them from what is happening. The staff is also friendly, enthusiastic, and caring. Maria in particular stood out to me when she was patient in showing my daughter how to floss with her braces.

This place is by far the best pediatric office I have went to with my kids! Hands down. My 9 yr old son was feeling very anxious and was screaming to have his filings done. I’ve been bringing my kids here for the last 4 years. From the moment we walk in the door, the receptionist is always smiling. My little one loves the play area while she waits. The assistants are great with the kids. They’ll even explain to your kids exactly what they’re doing so they feel more comfortable. Just moved to the vegas area, i struggled to find a good pediatric dentist until i found smile reef. Upon entry i was greeted with a smile and a hello from the receptionist, i hardly had to wait at all. Once my child was taken back the assistant made my child feel very comfortable, and I love how patient they were since my child is on the spectrum. She talked with him about the importance of hygiene, and the dentist was very friendly with both of us. My son was given a golden token then he played in the play area while i made a follow up appointment. i would definitely recommend this dentist to my friends and family , will be returning soon !!

Best kids dentist in Nevada! The staff always makes sure we are taken care off and they greet us upon entry. This goes a long way. When I bring all 5 of my kids they all take good care of them all. The best part is that they have little gifts for the kids each time they come to visit. Thank you staff. All the dentist here are the most amazing and highly intelligent individuals. Been reading reviews about some poor experiences here and would like to chime in here as well. There's one particular receptionist here that is rude af. If you know, you know. Girl is a straight c*nt. Bad attitude for no reason; makes degrading comments about your child. There's a lot of choices in the valley for pediatric dentistry. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place unless you want your child to have an unpleasant visit (for an experience that already has a negative perception).

I originally came here because Dr. Lamb and Dr. Jensen have a good reputation. It took me weeks to find a good dental office or so I thought they were! When I first came in the lady that is usually at the front desk was not friendly! But I decided to ignore it because she’s not the one that would be seeing my son. My son seen Dr. Lamb. He had a few cavities and I was under the impression that Dr. Lamb would be seeing him to fix his cavities. I waited for over a month for my son’s treatment visit (which is fine) but once I got there, there was a different dentist there that I have never met before. The front office failed to tell me that we would be seeing another dentist that I have never even talked to before. That too, I decided to ignore and give him a chance. Once my son got back to the treatment room my son was a little bit wiggly but very willing to do the treatment, not once did he cry. He was actually excited and kept giving me a thumbs up while he was laying in the chair. (He was sedated and on laughing gas) When Dr. Vaughn walked in he didn’t even introduce himself or talk to me once about his treatment plan. He was very rude and was very impatient from the start. My son at this point was still a bit wiggly, Dr. Vaughn was not willing to talk to my son to try to calm him down. He acted as if he wasn’t a pediatric dentist. He was not patient at all. Keep in mind my son is only 5 years old. He was in the room for about 5 minutes or less when he said he wouldn’t be able to do the treatment. By the time Dr. Vaughn stepped out the room my sons eyes were closed and he was falling asleep. If only he would have gave him a few minutes to calm down and breath the laughing gas I know my son would have done a good job. I’m so upset I waisted all this time and effort in trying to find a good dentist to take my son to just for this to happen! I will not be returning to the office because of Dr. Vaughn and the lady at the front desk! They were very rude and inconsiderate with no empathy what so ever!

I never give 1 star reviews because anyone can have an off day and one star reviews typically say more about the reviewer than the service provider, but...

Staff had been impatient with my son on previous visits, but I ignored it, because I hate confrontation and we generally defer to medical “experts” and try to be understanding of time constraints/challenging situations. The last visit was too much and even my mild mannered husband said “never again.”

My child had a poor reaction to his first experience with gas. He was upset and agitated. My husband held him and tried to calm him, but Dr and nurse were extremely inpatient and showed no empathy. They did not seem to have the ability to or interest in helping my 6 year old through a difficult thing. On the way out my son got a drink and was really thirsty —drinking like his life depended on it. The Dr sarcastically said “be careful you might drown.” The tone was definitely that the Dr was demeaning a 6 year old for struggling with a difficult tooth extraction.

My son is a bit silly and high energy, but never unkind or disrespectful. He had a bit of anxiety about having teeth extracted and the feeling of the gas upset him. The Dr was unwilling to slow down and calm him. He made clear that my child’s anxiety was annoying and inconvenient. I expect adults to act like adults and to have compassion for children who are in pain. My husband is a pediatric nurse and regularly helps kids through difficult medical procedures. He observed that the staff had no ability to do this.

We love coming here. This is not my childs regular dentist but Dr. Lamb and all of the staff are awesome start to finish! So far my son has been referred here twice. 1x for a crown and today they had to extract a baby tooth that would not come out. I love how prompt they are and they did so well with his crown he said well it didnt hurt so I don't mind having another one put in! lol! Thank you Dr. Lamb and staff.
