Last May, I went to this dental office for my first dental cleaning. During the initial examination, the dentist immediately told me that I had six teeth that supposedly needed dental implants. However, no previous dentist had ever told me that I needed implants.

I do not smoke or drink, and I have no family history of oral cancer. Despite this, I was told that I should undergo cancer screening. The dentist also raised concerns about possible periodontal disease.

The dental hygienist then refused to perform a regular cleaning and told me that I needed to see a periodontist. I was also told that I could schedule a deep cleaning instead. I eventually spent nearly three hours at the office and was charged a substantial amount, yet the cleaning was still not completed.

What concerned me even more was that the office decided on its own which periodontal specialist I should see. Given my previous experience, I was uncomfortable being directed to another office that might charge me even more without first getting an independent evaluation.

I feel that I was not given a clear explanation or reasonable opportunity to obtain a second opinion before being recommended for expensive procedures. I would like to understand whether these recommendations were medically necessary and whether the treatment and charges were appropriate.

I was referred here and I appreciate that they know who I am as soon as I walk through the door. If I could rate a negative I would. The office staff is completely incompetent. They tell you they’ve booked an appointment, then you show up to the appointment to find out the appointment was never actually booked. But yet they want to charge you for cancelling an appointment that they never sent you a confirmation of appointment on. Then when you try to resolve the issue and ask questions they want to hang up on you, because you don’t just get out the card and pay the bullshit fees. Do not recommend!

So accommodating. I booked a last-minute appointment for Botox treatment and they got me in the same day, which is so good for me because I’m always a last-minute booker. Five 🌟’s across the board. I've been seeing Dr. Chung for about two years now for severe jaw clenching. I love that she is super down to earth but also very informed and her treatment was very effective. After my initial visit, I was introduced to Vicky for facial treatments. I absolutely adore Vicky! I've had microneedling, dermaplaning and diamond glow facials with her and the results are amazing. I highly recommend Dr. Chung and Vicky for facial aesthetics and medical-facials.

I came in for my appointment and was told I couldn’t be seen because they didn’t take my insurance…even though I wanted to pay out of pocket and only added my insurance info because the online form prompted me too..they said there was no way to delete the info from the system which I didn’t understand…waste of time and gas as this office wasn’t close to me.

Absolutely love everyone at Smile shop dental and aesthetics. They’re such a friendly, easy going place where I always feel like I’m being listened to, I never feel pressured, and they’re great about working with my ever changing work schedule.

I’ll admit, I thought at first going to a dentist for Botox seemed odd; but after realizing who better than a dentist to understand the anatomy of our face and the way our muscles move.
Dr Grace Chung is always friendly, professional, and listens to any concerns I have. My skin/face looks so much better after seeing her. I’ve also gotten PDO threads and fillers that made a huge improvement. I love that Dr Chung has a great eye and listens to what result I’m wanting to achieve. My botox typically lasts between 4-6 months.

Vicky does amazing facials and I’m in love with the diamond glow facial she does. I immediately see a huge improvement when I get these done. She’s helped me to get my dry skin and breakouts under control. Her facials are super relaxing!

I also cannot say enough good things about Dee. He is wonderful about communicating with me any specials going on. I love that they use the Alle app and I’m able to earn points for any procedures done to save on future expenses.

Definitely go check them out! I was on the fence about getting Botox and fillers but now I am hooked!

Dr. Grace is awesome! I recommend her every time I’m asked about injections. I’m 64 and mistakenly work coworkers think I’m under 50! Ha! and that when the fun conversations start. The office keeps us plugged into Allē specials and always has our pockets in mind. But the results that Dr. Grace delivers are where it’s at! My lines, what lines. And I have never needed touch ups. I recently had PDO Threads placed. Again again, and amazing experience. They Rock at the Smile Shop!

Loved it! As soon as you walk in the door the front desk person is very friendly & helpful. The male assistant was also at the front desk & greeted me with a big smile & said it was great to see me & it's been awhile! As he took me to the procedure room he throughly explained that Dr. would be with me shortly. Every so often he popped in to make sure I was fine, once Dr. arrived she was so warm & friendly, she explained to me about PDO Threads because I told her I was interested.
