Went here because my last doctors office made a couple mistakes with my prescription, just seemed to go downhill. I told him i had a major eye shift in my right eye and i was told it may be diabetes. Had that checked and changed my diet, blood sugar dropped. My eyes were still the same.The new younger doctor seemed very interested in my issue. He did some different tests/machines than my original doctors and told me I had beginning stage cataracts would eventually need to have them removed and adjusted my prescription for now. The staff were attentive and quick. I will be referring my family here.

Called to make an appointment for glasses and contacts. Spoke to Alberto (Manager). I have Medicare and straight Medicaid. I was told that glasses were at no charge. Which I understand. I asked for contacts and advised that there would be a charge of 60-80.00 which I understand. But my co-pay would cost me 60-80.00 plus the contacts because he said it’s a separate exam. Advised that prescription for contacts are different. So it would run me 160.00. But no Co- pay if I was coming in for glasses only. I was very disappointed with this office. So time to look else where.

My daughter and I have been patients here for the past 7 years! We love it here, but heard during our last appointment in May of 2023 he was retiring and the office would still be open with a new eye doctor, yet it’s only November of 2023 and my daughter’s glasses broke, and I can’t get a hold of anyone during normal business hours, and no one is calling me back!! I’m not sure what the issue is, but we desperately need a replacement pair of glasses, and we’re not getting any sort of customer support, or response… After 7 years of coming here… I have very mixed feelings about my review, which would have been 5 stars if someone had responded and let us know if they are still open, or if they no longer have a doctor… I would love to hear back either way. My daughter is 16, and has been a patient since age 8.

Bought a pair of glasses few weeks ago. The lenses were defective. When I called doctors office they said defect can be remedied for extra 90$. Was never told/explained regarding any additional charges when buying the glasses, very misleading.Trusted the doctor and went there as a first time customer. Never again!

I don’t think 5 stars are enough for this office. I have been going there for 10+ years and the office staff has not changed which is quite unusual these days. The girls are always very sweet and welcoming and extremely helpful when picking out glasses. This is not an easy thing to do without someone’s honest opinion which if asked, the 2 of them will deliver.
I would and have recommended Dr. Smith to everyone I know as I trust him to the utmost.

Avoid ! In 2018 I went to Dr. Smith for glasses. They sent them back several times because there was always distortion and I could not see with them. After many months they would not replace them anymore. So the glasses sat on my dresser for 2 years and I wore my old glasses ( that had a chip in them ). 2020 I go back , he examines my eyes , order glasses and the same thing. There was so much distortation I could not see. I was not going to go thru what I went thru in 2018. I ask Dr Smith if he could please not charge me for the exam since I had to go see someone else and my insurance would not cover. He said it wasn't his fault and would not refund so insurance company would pay for another visit somewhere else. It certainly wasn't my fault the glasses didn't work. I went to someone else , paid 350.00 out of pocket and have glasses I can see out of. No trying several times to get it right. During this time I really could not afford it but needed to be able to see

One hour and counting and have not seen the doctor. We had a scheduled appointment set two weeks in advance. And yet we sit. No update from the staff. This is our second bad experience here. Won’t be coming back.

This is the only eyeglass office I come to nowadays; they are empathetic, offer easobable price options, and most of all they always give me microfiber cleaning cloths for my eyeglasses. Sure, I’ve been to the commercial eyeglass stores in the mall before but all they are are scams out to weasel as much money from you as they can? On one incident one eyeglass store deceived me out of $1000 I handed right to them as payment claiming I never paid it to them even though everyone saw me count the money and handed it to them! Their justification was that there were no cameras that captured it? Hence I never went back to lenscrafters and neither should anyone else! If they’re low enough to deceive this disabled patient there’s no telling what other shady acts they are willing to engage in?
