I have been a patient here since 2016, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the care I’ve received.
Before finding Dr. Kim’s office, I would just go to the mall, see whichever optometrist happened to be working that day, and have whoever was available help me pick out glasses. Switching to Dr. Kim’s practice was one of the best decisions I’ve made.
From day one, I’ve been treated like family. My son was also a patient here when he was in high school before joining the military, and every single year, Dr. Kim still asks how he’s doing and even asks about my grandson. Keep in mind, I only see them once a year, yet they always remember me and what’s going on in my life. That kind of personal care is so rare these days, and it means more than they probably realize.
I also have to give a special shout-out to Tarsha. She has been with Dr. Kim for as long as I can remember, and she’s completely transformed the way I choose glasses. I used to stay in my comfort zone and only wear very small frames. With her encouragement and honest advice, I’ve become much more confident trying different shapes and styles. Now, getting new frames is actually something I look forward to because it’s such a fun experience.
Every visit is welcoming, professional, and personal. I always leave feeling well taken care of, and I truly can’t recommend anyone better than Dr. Kim, Tarsha, Bridget, and the entire team highly enough. This office is beyond helpful and amazing! Dr Kim, Kassandra, and all the girls are truly kind and caring about their patients. I’ve never been to a Dr office where they are so helpful as Spectacle. I went in as an emergency twice, for a chalazion on my eyelid. Both times, they got me in on the same day. Dr Kim noticed my eye pressure was higher than it should and by the next morning, Kassandra was calling me with the referral, and to make the appointment to have my eyes checked right away. Doctor is amazing. The assistant that does your preexam is friendly but goes a little overboard with the sweet name calling. The other woman who sits at the reception desk is not friendly at all and when you do acknowledge her presence by saying a simple hello her resting face sure does make you feel as if you annoyed her by acknowledging her presence. I have difficult eyes...it is almost embarrassing, and almost like each eye belongs to a separate person. I say this because purchasing prescription eye-wear is normally a nail-biting challenge. Not at Spectacle; the staff goes the extra mile to ensure that your glasses are properly ground. I purchased sunglasses there last summer, and they needed to go back..no problem; then they needed to go back a second time in just to make them darker...again, not a problem. They are perfect. Recently, I decided to return and have my regular lenses ground through them. The doctor did my annual eye exam, and left no stone unturned. Ernest did the measurements; he is amazing. I just picked up my glasses today, and they are perfect the first time! This has never happened, and I am so grateful.
Update: 2025- I continue to have my vision exams with Dr. Kim, and find her exam thorough, her demeanor friendly and professional.

I previously went to Spectacle three years ago, however due to health reasons, I haven’t been back yet. I’ve been in and out of the hospital however, as soon as I can get back there and walk and drive, I will definitely be back. I had an incident where my glasses broke that I got from there three years ago And it was my fault. I see because the way I was taking them off anyway I was gonna go to the store after I called Spectacle to get the reader numbers off my bifocals. I left a message And Tarsha called me back and they are an amazing amazing Office she offered because I am bedbound. She offered to have somebody bring my old frames that I broke in and she would replace it with a brand new frame and bill my insurance as I requested and then when I get back on my feet, I’m going back to get my eyes examined at Office after three years hasn’t changed a bit. Tarsha Is still there along with Dr. Kim they’re both amazing everyone in their office is absolutely amazing personable, courteous, friendly everything and most of all they definitely know what they’re doing. I can still see out of my other lenses and I have two different readings in my eyes and I will never ever go to another Optician office again I just cannot Say how awesome they are so if you need your eyes checked get your exam, I had my eyes dilated. It was awesome and The doctor there is Amazing herself there’s no wait you know how you go to a doctor’s office and wait maybe 30 minutes no not at Spectacle. They are on the ball. I think I’ve waited 10 minutes for the work they do and I mean perfection work plus that many many frames to choose from up-to-date frames, reasonable frames and they’ve been taking my same insurance. I just can’t say enough so go try them out totally worth it. You’ll go nowhere else.💕💕

Out of all my experiences going to an optometrist, Spectacle was the best! Not only is Dr. Kim really good but her staff was fantastic! I especially have to give kudos to Ronnette at the front desk. This optometry office is the Best we have been to. The Staff are all very knowledgeable and very helpful when it comes to finding the right frame for your face. The Dr. is very detailed oriented and is able to get my complicated astigmatism prescription just right. That also includes adding in progressives so there is a seemless reading and distance prescription in the lenses. Do not hesitate using Spectacle for all your eye glass and contact lens orders. They also take insurance, so that helps a lot.

I have been to many places for eye tests and glasses purchase. This place is by far the best. Their eye exam is more thorough and Dr Kim doesn't get impatient or pressure you for your choices. The entire staff is very professional and courteous. My glasses are progressive bi focals and their quality is obviously the finest.

Vanessa and her staff are very efficient and professional. Vanessa performed the exam and she is competent based on my results with new glasses. She is personable and pleasant. I had a nice choice of frames and found the right match in 5 minutes. They were open on a Saturday and that accommodated my schedule. Nice area.

The front desk employee was super nice and informative. “Female” we walked in without an appointment and she politely explained they are currently by appointment only and then accommodated me happily since there was nobody else there. Less then 60 seconds after beginning to look an make employee came from the back and began rudely addressing us. We went to vitra and purchased red it’s frames.👍

We have been going to Spectacle since opening and I cannot say enough positive things about this place. The office staff is always friendly and helpful. Dr. Kim is always kind and professional. My daughter lost a screw the other day and Ernest was able to fix her frames quickly. My kids love their giant fish tank and I love the selection of all the newest style frames. There are plenty to pick from! Even to please someone as picky as me.

I’ve been wearing glasses most of my life and I have to say this was by far the best experience I’ve ever had getting new glasses. My first experience was amazing. Unfortunately my eyes are a bit tricky so I ended up having to go back because my prescription wasn’t working for me but Dr. Kojima and her staff were patient and diligent in making sure to find the right one for me. Everyone was well knowledged and helpful with literally everything I needed. This office is beautiful and very comfortable. Thank you guys for the great experience! I went in for an eye exam and to purchase new glasses from Spectacle and had a fantastic experience working with Ernest and the rest of the staff. They were very accommodating when scheduling an appointment, informative when showing me what my best options were for the lenses, and were the least expensive BY FAR from the other stores that quoted me.
