My husband 86, and I 81 have been receiving treatment at Dr. Devin's since last May, 2023. His initial complaint was the worsening knee pain, which went away after a few weeks. He is reasonably comfortable.

UPDATE: My husband passed away since I posted the above comment:
He had NO PAIN.
He had the CLEAR MIND TO THE END. (Alzheimer, though. Getting him Singles Vaccine worked to clear his mind)

That was the ideal passing much superior and better than I could ever imagine as a caregiver. Spinal Care worked well on my husband.

For my case, I needed a change; and went to Lake Mead Chiropractic where I go through several decompression treatments plus Doctor's adjustment and his healing hands that takes 1 to 1.5 hour per visit. At Lake Mead Chiropractic, Dr. Mortensen is a great educator and healer. He gave me a set of Pettibon System foam blocks to self adjust at home. That is a great method to decompress at home. Now I am wearing a posture corrective belt and use Bob and Brad percussion massager. My pain level went down from 4 of 10 to 1 of 10 in several months. All chiropractic styles are different.

Dr Devin Luzod is very knowledgeable, and his technique for chiropractic care is unlike traditional chiro treatments. The soft touch approach works amazingly! Dr Kelsey is also very talented so you have the choice of being treated by either a male or female doctor.
One of my favorite things about Spinal Care of Nevada is appointments are not necessary and visits only take 5 to 10 minutes. So going regularly is convenient and fast.
All of the office staff is upbeat and helpful, and the environment is clean and welcoming.
If you’ve had bad experiences with other chiropractic offices I encourage you to give this office a try. The initial cost varies but includes X-rays and can seem like a big investment, but monthly maintenance costs to continue care are reasonable. Feeling better and improving your health, posture, etc is worth the expense.
I would just like to add a Thank You to Dr Devin and Dr Kelsey for hearing my concerns each time I go in, and ultimately for relieving my back and neck pain in a short amount of time!

I was dealing with terrible vertigo and buzzing in my head . It became unbearable.
I tried PT and traditional chiropractic. Nothing worked. I couldn’t tolerate the adjustments . It was like torture.
My neighbor told me about Dr. Devin who uses gentle chiropractic adjustment. I never heard of that before, but I was game.
After our initial conversation I had digital x-rays taken (no radiation). Dr. Devin went over the x-rays explaining what he found and said that it was something he could correct.
His gentle no force adjustments and cold laser therapy worked. Within a couple of visits I was feeling real relief. That was about 2 years ago.
I’m still going for maintenance.
I would definitely recommend Dr. Devin. Especially if you are a senior.😉

Eight weeks ago I could barely walk and not without a lot of pain. Sciatica came on suddenly. I immediately called Spinal Care and they fixed it so I could get in that day. Front office staff is great. Cindy always has a welcoming smile. Dr. Devin told me it would be a process. It made sense to me because I think the sciatica was a long time in the making. This review is a bit over due. At first i was going to write a detailed review, but i decided to stick to the key points. First and foremost i never went past the xrays and consultation which i am glad about, as i only lost the cost of xrays. The ladies working up front were very nice, Doc seemed sincere, but sadly it was anything but. I was shown deceptive xrays of myself and lied too then quoted $3k, something told me walk away and im happy i did. A year later i got insurance, got an mri and xray from a orthopedic, when i showed the orthopedic the xray given to me from spinal care of nevada he literally laughed and said how disingenuous. Make sure when your xrays are shown to you, they're not uneven, if this is how you guys operate to scare already terrified patients out of money then shame on you.

The office is very professional, staff is welcoming and Dr. Devin and Dr. Kelsi seem to be fairly knowledgeable regarding their practice. I went in there with several musculoskeletal issues and they do seem marginally better. Others I have spoken to in his office say they have had much more significant improvements. With this practice each session is about 2-3 minutes of time with Dr. followed by a handheld therapy laser. Treatment seems mostly based off initial x rays and a scale that shows weight distribution. I was asked to do 26 sessions purchased as a package. Which was not cheap. There is not a lot of bed side discussion regarding progress during the sessions but rather is discussed during 1:1s with the Dr. which was provided about half way through and at the end of the 26 sessions after a second set of x rays. At this point I was recommended by the Dr. and I have signed up for a maintenance program which is offered as a yearly package of visits/week rather than an exact number of sessions. I don't feel cured but things seem to be getting better and I am hoping that things continue in that direction.

I just had my first 2 visits with Dr. Devin Luzod, but already I can attest that this is the most thorough chiropractic care I've been to in 25 years (General, NUCCA, & A.R.T.). Their goal for each patient is for long term corrective & restorative care, not just temporary symptoms relief. 'Dr. Devin' provides a thorough X-Ray assessment, with discussion of existing muscle and bone issues and a variety of chiropractic methods to correct. He is friendly, direct, and extremely knowledgable, and set up a regular schedule of prepaid visits to gradually correct my underlying skeletal problems to relieve chronic pain and mobility restrictions, improve posture, and hopefully eliminate any future progressive degradation.

First let me start by saying I have had lower back and neck issues for a good 15 years..
Prior to seeing Dr Devin and Dr Kelsey , I had been to several chiropractors over the last 15 years and massages for my pain .
I have been in treatment now for several weeks of appointments of three times a week a 12 week program that I’m still in the process of.

Adding an update to my original review! I CANNOT believe it, but I am still improving. My back has healed beyond what I imagined it could. Three years ago, I was in extreme pain, nearly constant, my back went into spasms at the slightest (unpredictable) movements, I could barely function. Now I'm free of pain and continuing to get stronger (and get more range of movement and stamina). Three years ago I believed that my life was most likely always going to be filled with chronic pain and I'd be severely limited. Now I'm just walking around getting things done, listening to music and hopping around like it's no big deal. It's completely wild.

(Also, Dr. D has helped me with my elbow and knees, which is so funny - I had no idea Chiropractors could do that - including that detail for anyone else out there who may not know!)

From the first time my husband and I went to Spinal Care of Nevada, everyone from the front office staff to Dr. Devin and Dr. Kelsey were professional and very caring. I am so greatfull that I found Dr. Devin, he is a different kind of chiropractor, not one who cracks your neck and back, which is scary, but one who gets things back in place with non-violent techniques. After only a few appointments, I can turn my head to look over my shoulder without pain, I'm sleeping better as I'm not constantly waking up in pain, and my morning headaches have diminished. I have been a patient of Dr. Devin for two years now. I am very active both outdoors and in the weight room and in April of '22 I did a number on my back during a new weight liftine routine, in my low 30's. I had extremem discomfort both sitting down and standing up. I also had pain whilst sitting, even with lower lumbar support.

Dr. Devin took x-rays and showed me where and exactly why I was having pain/discomfort. Within weeks I was feeling exponentially better after my injury. After 5-6 months I was back to normal and I am now simply on a maintence schedule for preventative care.

I highly reccomend Dr. Devin and his team to anyone in need of chiropractic care. The NUCCA methods are a fantastic alternative to surgery, medicine, and other chiropractic procedures.

When I come here, I know all my back pain will be relieved. Each time I come in the staff goes out of their way to ask how I’m doing. I came here because I had lower back pain but ended up leaving with severe neck pain. I told Devin I had been experiencing more neck pain since I started seeing him, and he chuckled incredulously. I have never felt worse after seeing a chiropractor for several weeks, so I decided to end my treatment early (with 6 sessions left). I took my x-rays again to see if there had been any improvement, and my spine alignment only got worse after 20 appointments; I was better off not seeing him.
When I told him I was ending my treatment early, he was clearly not happy. He said I’ll need surgery and get nerve pain IF I don’t continue my care with him. He never brought any of that up in the consultation or at my other appointments (clearly trying to scare me).
There are SO many patients in that office at once that the office ladies have to herd us like cattle. He only sees a patient for 2 minutes because he has to hurry to see the next one.

I had planned at stopping at a Chiropractor at some point due to some back issues. Lucky for me, we had someone from Dr. Hecker's team stop by my job to offer a special for an exam and adjustment at a very nice price.

The examination revealed to me that I was all kinds of twisted and needed some work done. Dr. Hecker put me on a 3-month plan to recovery. I was skeptical but I wanted to start somewhere with my back issues, so I jumped aboard the ship.

Let me tell you, his methods work. Dr. Hecker will not twist you like a pretzel, but his methods have the same results. After about three weeks of treatment, I was able to get out of bed without the fear of my back locking up. I was noticing less back aches and stiffness throughout the days and I was loving it.

After my 3-month treatment, results from the final exam showed great improvement and I'm on the track to recovery.

Recommendation for Dr Devin

My life long friend, Leslie Richardson, had talked to me several times about how the "miracle" of Dr Devin's NUCCA Chiropractic therapy had been for her. As we had not seen each other for 30 years, I traveled to Las Vegas to spend time with her, and, seek consultation with Dr Devin.

I had not had x-rays since my car accident in 2001. Dr Devin took a full set of xrays and then reviewed them with me. My situation was much worse than I realized.

I have also been dealing with osteoporosis for many years. Just twisting the wrong way would put my back out where I would be laid up for days which doesn't help in taking care of my large property!

I had been seeing an osteopath who had been able to provide some relief. But after the third treatment of 6 treatments with Dr Devin I was feeling amazingly good. I wish I could be living closer so I could have regular treatments but I live in a remote area of northern Quebec where there is limited access to medical services.

Dr Devin is providing me with special exercises and has advised that he could communicate with my osteopath to guide her with treatments.

I feel blessed to have met and consulted with him and his wonderful supportive staff and next time I can make it to Las Vegas, I will see him for sure.

After several visits to my Chiropractor, I was seeing no results with my lower back & shoulder pain. I decided to try Dr. Devin who practices a different kind of Chiropratic approach called NUCCA. My 1st visit to Dr. Devin, I had limited movement and was in a lot of pain. I had damaged my lower spine, shoulders due to heavy moving. My 85 years old husband with Alzheimer has been seeing Dr. Devin 2 months. Dr's cold light laser applied to his neck for only 5 minutes per visit seems to have taken surprisingly good effect in bringing back his cognizant clarity. He can engage in conversation better now.
Yesterday, I told my good "dentist" about Dr. Devin's Cold Light Laser therapy; and he told me he uses the similar but in different version for all his dental treatments. Since my dentist confirmed it, I began to research Cold Light Laser for both of us. Overall, Dr. Devin seems to be in touch with the newest technology in the health care science.
I started to see Dr. Devin for my 1.5 year old lower back pain two weeks after my husband. Appling the laser on my tail bone tip for 5 minutes on every visit (3 times a week) has made it relatively easier to walk a mile twice a day plus a yard work for one hour.

I also pound all over my body with a massage hammer from Amazon. This is very effective in loosing up my tight muscles. On top of that, I knead my ears everyday in acupuncture style. And I sometimes use spot magnets in maximum strength (Serenity 2000) on my acute spots.
This is a part of how we stay away from the drugs and MDs.

PS: Another few weeks later today; I now walk 2 miles in the morning and another mile in the evening on week days; and 1 mile on week ends. Plus, I walk with my husband twice 0.25 mile in the near park on his good days.
Then, I started to try on a posture corrector harness from Amazon for 30 minutes a day.
UPDATE: 4 months ago I initialy took in my husband for his terrible knee pain, which was increasingly worsening and worried me. Today he no longer mentions it. My husband cannot even remember of that really bad knee pain he had.
Dr. Devin showed us his Xray today how his neck alignment improved. It is in turn correcting his posture and walking gait. His improved posture erased his knee pain.
Can you imagine if I had taken him to a MD? Too many unnecessary invasive procedures and painful surgery!!! My lucky husband escaped their knife and pain killers. His knee is pain free with this chiropractic care. He did not take one pain drug because he did not need one.

As for me, my lower back pain had held me back from climbing the uphill walk. But I now climb the hilly sidewalk on daily basis. Encouraged, I went to REI sporting store today and invested in a pair of good hiking shoes. I am not totally pain free; but it goes two step forward and one step back. Three steps out and two steps back. Meanwhile my posture has been improving. The posture is everything.
UPDATE: 4 months 10 days since my first visit. I rock scrambled Lone Mountain. Climbed west side and landed on the saddle. Then I scrambled down the east; and walked around the north side to return to the car. My butt is happy sore.
To a hiker like me, this is a piece of life quality. Worth investing in.

Currently experiencing low back pain and was able to get in to Dr. Devin's office right away today. Dr. D was even willing to review my x-rays immediately and gave me the chance to come back later today to get my results and my first treatment. He's not into cracking your spine if that's what you're looking for. He has a more holistic approach to hopefully improve your spine and not just cover the symptoms. Very nice front staff, Radiologist, and of course Dr. Devin. If the Dr. wants you to come back for a series of visits you will be expected to make a significant payment up front (about a 1/3 - 1/2 what you'll owe in total for all of the visits but you are given several payment.options from the front staff. Also, you can get reimbursement if there are any appointments that you cannot make it to which is nice. All in all I had a great experience and look forward to getting better with their care.

Favorite doctor ever (so far). I normally hate going to any type of doctor in Las Vegas, and I had never been to a chiropractor so I wasn’t too sure what to expect. I’m 24 so I wasn’t expecting too many things wrong, but I had more than I expected. The doctor explained everything in detail with me and laid out a treatment plan. The appts are short and sweet and I always feel better afterwards.

The staff is very sweet. You can text to reschedule appts and you get appt reminders. The office has a comfortable feel, and is located in a great shopping center.

I came to Dr Devin because of an out-of-control, fluctuating blood pressure issue that, at one point, actually landed me in Emergency at the hospital. I have had back problems for years but it had gotten so bad that it was all I could do to put a simple dinner together without having to stop and bend over the counter every couple of minutes. I was referred to Dr Hecker by a colleague as I have had chronic back pain and headaches for the majority of my life. I have seen over 10 different chiropractors, done accu pressure and acupuncture all with little to no success. Prior to the Covid shutdown Dr Hecker had me at a daily pain level of 3’s, that’s down from 7-8 daily. I was impressed and started doing the maintenance program when the shutdown occurred. My pain is back and I finally got around to getting back onto Dr Heckers treatment plan and look forward to the same results I had gotten a few years ago.
