So today I had the great pleasure of meeting this dental office team and the dentist himself. Without a doubt the videos I saw on Facebook made me want to know them more and I already felt like part
of their work family BEFORE my appt. Once I arrived I was greeted by Denise. Beautiful smile and warm welcome. Not so easy to find these days. I misunderstood that it was a virtual consult not in person, however they made me feel so awesome saying we are even more excited to meet you in person and then we all sat and I chatted with Dr and Denise. WOW. I felt like I was part of a Happy Disney Movie. From Doctor, to the team to the tour right down to saying goodbye, see you soon, it felt like the happiest place on earth. Every person was real and authentic in their interaction with me. Their reels and videos is what made me say I want that experience at my Dentist’s office. I’m happy I found them, thankyou Dr Racanelli and his work family for making me feel at home. See you soon. Looking forward to this journey with stunning smiles dental team. So, I wrote a review a few weeks ago about how fixing my teeth was something I always wanted to do and making sure the tops matched the bottoms were top priority. Admittedly, I wrote the review a little angry. I chose to delete it for that reason and because the doctor reached out to me again. There was a bit of a miscommunication. I had reached out about an issue and waited about 2 weeks and didn't hear back. Hence, the angry review. Recently, they had me come in again for more pictures and another whitening session to fix the issues. Now the tops match the bottom a lot better and I could not be happier. It had been almost a year since I'd had an appointment so seeing everyone again was very nice. The staff is so sweet and personable. And the doctor came in to talk to me before the session. He was understanding and he let me have some extra at home whitening gel. It had been almost a year so I forgot why I liked the place so much... It's very cozy, clean, and everyone is just lovely. My entire journey was quite a long (and expensive lol) one but everything looks amazing and I have definitely recommended this place to a few friends/co-workers. If you're considering veneers and want a doctor that actually cares, this is the place to go. It is pricey but it's worth it. He fixed all my top teeth including the back ones that you couldn't see as well. He said it's about how they look and their health and he's absolutely right! I have nothing but good things to say about this place so I knew I needed to edit my review. 10/10, would recommend!

Amazing experience and truly exceptional service!

We called because my girlfriend was dealing with a painful wisdom tooth infection, and instead of simply telling us to come in and wait, they immediately offered to do a video consultation to understand the situation, guide us, and help save us time.

I can’t recommend Dr. Racanelli enough! I recently broke a tooth and, as someone with really high dental anxiety, I was honestly terrified!!! My anxiety is usually a 10+, but this experience completely changed that for me.
From the moment I sat in the chair, he made me feel calm and at ease. I didn’t even feel the numbing process which is usually the part I dread the most! He truly has a gentle, almost magical touch.
He repaired my broken tooth by replacing an old silver filling with an onlay, and the entire procedure was done in-office no temporaries, no multiple visits, just smooth and efficient care. And best of all… completely pain-free.

As someone who works with him and patients myself, I’ve always known how amazing he is but now I’ve experienced it firsthand, and it’s on a whole other level. My dental anxiety has dropped from a 10+ to maybe a 3 after this visit.

I am writing back after several visits and treatments and I am happy to say that I made the best decision ever coming into that office and taking the first few steps to a a good smile. Dr Rancanelli and staff are wonderful. The doctor studied at Villanova and dental school at University of Penn. Both schools are highly esteemed. His office has a nice comfortable flow and is very clean.

They provide very reasonable cash pay prices, with deals for yearly cleaning packages. They give prices upfront so there is no surprise. They also accept certain dental care discount programs like Aetna care.

I received a full oral exam which included more X-rays than I have ever had. They also photographed every tooth and angle possible. Dr R conducted the periodontal check him self and is very gentle. I received this comprehensive exam for $60 using a mailer they sent.
It was worth every penny. I came to him because he treated my son on and emergency basis at the end of a long day when a local pediatric dentist refused because they didn't want to stay late. This was my step son and he was crying profusely in pain. Dr Rancanelli remembered him by name on my personal visit and was concerned for him. They really care, are clean you can tell they do good work! I highly recommend them. If your cash, discuss your options or buy a dental saving plan to help with costs If needed. They are worth what they charge

I recently had a cavity. My last experience with a dentist requiring numbing was long ago and somewhat horrific. Dr. R and his staff numbed my gum well with gel prior to injections and I literally didn't feel anything. He removed that internal anxiety I had towards dental treatment. Again, his office was spotlessly clean and he staff at their best. The whole office takes pride in their workplace which helps. I'm headed jack for a free bite exam to see if I can get Invisalign!! I highly recommend this office. Also I can't tell I have a filling. It feels normal and look like my tooth!!

I was very pleased with my visit at Stunning Smiles last week. Dr. Racanelli had previously gone over my dental needs in great detail, and then laid out a plan for my dental needs going forward. Last week, I had a new crown placed on a tooth that had broken off down to the gum line. Another dentist had told me that it would have to be pulled, but Dr. Racanelli felt that he could repair it and he did. I have been going to Stunning Smiles Dentistry my most recent visit was unexpected, I cracked a very old crown (done by previous dentist), and called them at 4:45 PM on Thursday. They were closed Friday and Monday due to holiday, but fit me in Tuesday afternoon. On Tuesday morning they called and said an earlier time at 10 AM opened. I got in the office and walked out three hours later with a brand new permanent crown.

Honestly paid hundreds of dollars in copays for no reason. Then they send me letters asking for money. They said my insurance doesn’t even fully cover the cleanings, but other dentists said they do. I tried to go back to stunning smiles, but it’s still the same shiz. I tried them twice and now I know to never come back. Quality and service has gone down so much compared to when they first opened. I wish this time could’ve been different but it seems they just want your money. They tried to charge my fiancée $500 out of pocket for a night guard when he had double coverage culinary. We went to a different dentist and said they could do it for $100 out of pocket. They upcharge you up the booty. Watch out for your financial booty when you go to stunning smiles folks.

UPDATE* Denise was delightful over the phone and I just paid all my balances as I am choosing to look elsewhere for my dental needs. They are not transparent from the get go like the owner response says to my review. They failed to mention they were out of network providers and just hustled me and said they accepted my insurance. When I paid all co pays during my visit they said that’s all they needed and then proceeded to send another invoice through letter for over $130 so no they are NOT transparent with insurance and billing.

The first thing you will notice about Dr. Racanelli’s office is the light and comfortable atmosphere of the waiting area—TV with soothing nature sounds included. Then, after checking in at the front desk (by the most pleasant and polite reception staff), you are lead back to your dental chair…on your way and on either side of you are walls lined with numerous awards (I didnt stop to read them all - just caught glimpses). Also, you will see state-of-art equipment all around you.

My first appointment with Dr. Racanelli was to discuss my concerns and to get acquainted. His personable - yet professional demeanor put me right at ease. (He also has a great sense of humor, which I think is a MUST for this line of work. And I was pleasantly surprised that he didn’t have me seated in a dental chair until after our discussion. (Ths was a first for me.)

I am 74 y/o and have had only one dentist in my life whom I have given rave reviews (I had been to many) and he, as well as his staff, took care of my dental needs for over 30 years. I didn’t think that I would ever find another dentest (including staff) to treat me so well, however; if my intuition is right…I believe I have just met my last dentist.
P.S. The reason for my leaving my previous dentist was because the atmosphere was becoming a bit toxic…sour dispositions and scheduling errs. No one should stand for that!

Dr. Racinelli and his entire staff are top tier professional. I had extensive reconstruction work with veneers and the team were 100% available and patient with my ridiculous amount of questions. They spent a huge amount of time going over all the details with constant check ins to make sure that I understood the entire process. The work was expensive, but after tons of research, I quickly learned, they were extremely fair. I had an amazing experience as a patient at stunning smiles. Dr. Racanelli took incredibly good care of me and made me very comfortable throughout the entire process. I was looking for a cosmetic dentist in the area to fill some gaps in my teeth before my wedding. I found a few on yelp, called around, and most offices seemed bothered by me inquiring- while the staff at Stunning smiles answered me right away, went above and beyond to help me, and set up a video consultation with Dr. Racanelli right away. Following the consultation, I went into his office for him to check out my teeth and make a game plan. He gave me lots of options, didn’t pressure me, and gave me genuine advice for what was best for my situation. We decided on some composite bonding and they fit me in pretty soon after! My procedure took a few hours and during that time, I was very relaxed. By the time I sat up, I had a completely new smile and was so happy with the results!! In the consultation with Dr. Racanelli, I mentioned to him the insecurities I had about my teeth and we decided on veneers to close the spaces and replace the previous bondings. Dr. Racanelli has been my dentist for almost 10 years. I came to him with a mouth full of problems. Throughout my time with him he has done various procedures including crowns, fillings, consults for various concerns, Invisalign, retainers, referrals for endodontist, periodontists and recently an implant.

The office is beautifully designed with a very nice modern feel that lets you settle in and relax. There are huge TVs in each treatment room and I always like the music they play. During cleanings I feel like I could take a nap.

Dr. Racanelli goes the extra mile and even followed up to make sure I was doing well after a surgical extraction he had referred me. It showed me he not only cared about me as a person, his patient but that he had also been in contact with the surgeon he had referred me with regarding my status. I was very impressed.

I have had so much dental work done (poor genetics, bad prior work from another dentist, bad luck, Who really knows why) and of course there is always questions, concerns and anxiety when I come in for treatment. Dr. R comes up with a plan and fixes what I need. It has been very hard for me to have trust in dentists, but Dr. Racanelli is one you can trust.

I stand by Rachinelli being a good dentist...

However... I have a perfect mouth, no seriously... zero cavities in... 20 years? 25? Ever? Rachinell's office had me rate my mouth, and I said a 10/ 10... they laughed, then looked... and saw I was right.

According to Jennifer at the SS office, they have a policy, dictated by NV law, that they HAVE to do x-rays every 18 months... and boy, the pressure to do x-rays is put on the patient...

Ok.. OK... OK...

However, Delta Dental paid out $155 of my WHOPPING $372 dollar bill for a regular annual checkup, cleaning, and x-ray fee...

and I was socked with $217. For a historically PERFECT mouth.

I asked if there could be any budging on my responsibility for the cost of this INSANELY UNNECESSARY "by law" procedure.

No budging. NONE.

I'm done. Ya lost me. Been nice knowing ya... but I'll continue with my own oral care, in my own very special, very effective way.

My wife and I have been going to Dr. R and more recently Dr. Magdos for over 5 years. I’ve always been treated well and feel like the work that we’ve had done has been above average.

I have on several occasions deferred new X-rays annually and opt for 18 month intervals. My last visit, a new hygienist told me I couldn’t get a cleaning without new X-rays. She apparently checked with one of the dentists and this was confirmed. I walked out and will find a new dentist. It’s a shame they would want to lose 2 loyal clients of over 5 years because I did not want to have new X-rays.

My Invisalign treatment with Dr. Racanelli was completed today. It took exactly only 12 months to totally transform my teeth. The final results are better than I could have ever hoped for, although Doc told me it would happen. His expertise and personality is the best combo I have ever encountered in a clinician. I travel from the Peoples’ Republic of Massachusetts to Las Vegas and Doc has adapted the care to accommodate my unique situation. Since I can not see him as often as a “local” he and his staff have formulated a program specifically to fit my needs. His “chair-side manner” is the best by far of any Dentist I have been to over many, many years. He has been friendly, thorough and reassuring since day one. I have received my “trays & attachments” as part of the Invisilign program. Zero pain, discomfort, and the “trays” are easy to put in and take out. This process continues to be better than I could have imagined. Kylie did the “fittings” and she did a great job: thorough, gentle, and diligent to get things just right. Dr. Racanelli has a busy practice (obviously a good thing) but you never get the “bum’s rush” from this man. You are definitely not a number here. He takes as much time w/you as you need and he exudes confidence in you as his patient that this will be a huge success. If you’re reading this LONG review, then you are interested in Invisilign or to have Dr. Racanelli as your Clinician. Do yourself and your mouth a favor. Contact them and schedule a consultation. If you are looking for a new dentist, stop right here. You have found your new doctor. Dr. Racanelli is one of the best dentists I have ever been to. He’s considerate and he explains everything he’s doing, or is going to do, very well. I am having dental implants done by Dr. R and the whole process has been outstanding. I’ve had no pain, not even with the numbing shot. Dr. R has state of the art equipment also. I’ve had no problems, and I recently found out from him that when they take the impression of my mouth to fit the crowns, they will be doing it by a scan instead of that awful big tray they shove in your mouth with the gooey icky material that hardens so much you think the rest your teeth are going to fall out! This is a truly wonderful office with a wonderful doctor and a lovely, lovely staff to help him. You will not be disappointed. You will be overjoyed having found this office.

Although Stunning Smile couldn't do a whole lot with my first visit, they were extremely pleasant and very helpful with the steps that I needed to take too be taken care of properly. I am very pleased with all the services and I will be happy to return after I get the help I need. Stunning Smile is a 40 minute drive for me and I will still continue to use their services for my dental needs. High respectful and considerate. Very Happy!!

Update: 5/2023:
Had an exam and restoration with Dr. Katina Magdos at Stunning Smiles and Love Her! She is empathetic and kind, explaining every step of the process and putting patients first. She asked me questions like, "Is there anything I can do to help ease your anxiety?" That approach makes me feel like she really understands how stressful the process can be for some of us and gives the message that patient comfort is a top priority. Also, the restoration was a perfect fit. They create the crowns on the spot so the whole process was just under 2 hours from start to finish.

Dr. Racanelli and his whole team are kind, warm, and wonderful. The gentle kindness of Dr. Racanelli and everyone on staff is extremely comforting and really helps my anxiety. I love Stunning Smiles!

Dr. Racanelli and staff are amazing!
I actually work in dentistry and I was told in order for me to get Invisalign I would have to extract 4 of my teeth. I went in for a second opinion/consult with Stunning Smiles and Dr. Racanelli reassured me that I didn’t need any extractions to have straight teeth.
He was right!! I finished my Invisalign and even got new front teeth (a new bridge and veneer) and all I can say is my smile is soooo beautiful and I’m glad I started my treatment here!

I’m so grateful for the entire process and now I can finally smile with confidence!
Also if you’re looking for a great hygienist Rachel is sooo good at making my teeth feel nice and clean! Stunning Smiles should be your dental go to!

I'd like to begin this review by saying Thank You to DR. Richard Racanelli and his entire and amazing team at Stunning Smiles. I needed to have an upper side tooth extracted. It sat between a natural tooth and an implant tooth. While being very satisfied with the implant I did not want another top tooth implant.A bridge seemed to be the way to go. However, another dentist told me it was not really an option saying: "you can't attach a bridge to an implant because an implant has No Give.The bridge would just break." I then talked with someone who suggested I talk with their dentist about my dilemma. I am so grateful I did. DR. Racanelli assured me yes, it could be done. That, in fact, he had done many with a special technique: a " porcelain bridge with a stress break that would allow us to connect an implant and a natural tooth".DR. Racanelli's self-confidence in his ability to, successfully, do this bridge procedure was unwavering. I now have this bridge and it looks and feels great! When you are having any kind of procedure done you want the person doing the procedure to be 100% self-confident in their ability to do that procedure. You want their skill set, attention to detail, and Belief in their own abilities to be impeccable. This is DR. Richard Racanelli, who is also a very genuine, caring, down to earth person!!!

Dr. Richard Racanelli is an amazing conscientious and caring professional! Last year he performed a heroic removal of my wisdom teeth mercury fillings to my absolute satisfaction! Because my wisdom teeth are way back there on the upper rear of my mouth, he had me come in a few times to completely adjust my bite. He did not hesitate to fit me in and make me absolutely comfortable and happy. He saved my teeth and health and for that I am so thankful! Rachel, my dental hygienist, is another dream! She is skilled, thoughtful and patient which makes my bi-annual cleanings a pleasure rather than a dread.
