Lilia, the hygienist, Aliz, the assistant, and Dr. Schneider (sorry, Dr. Schneider, ladies come first 😉) are not only exceptional professionals in their fields, they are absolute angels. Yes, angels!!!
I have been going through extensive dental treatment, including major rehabilitation of my gums and roots and dealing with severe infections. It has been a long and difficult process, and the support I have received from all three of them is beyond anything words can adequately describe.
They are caring, gentle, friendly, incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely empathetic. They don’t just treat the dental problem. They care about the person sitting in the chair. They have made treatments that could have been frightening and overwhelming feel manageable, and I always feel that I am in the safest and most capable hands.
What stands out most to me is how much they truly care. Nothing feels rushed or impersonal. They explain everything, listen, make sure I am comfortable, and treat me with a level of kindness and compassion that is rare to find.
I trust them completely, and after everything I have been through with my teeth and gums, that says a lot.
This practice is truly the best of the best. Exceptional dentistry, exceptional people, and a team with enormous hearts. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I was a patient at this office four years ago.
I had a few crowns that after 2 years had cracks and they had to be replaced by a different office.
Terrible work. It’s very frustrating when they supposed to last five years. I didn’t want to deal with them, complaining about, but recently I received billings of 600 dollars that I don’t know where they are from.
The front desk lady was incredibly rude when I tried to talk to explain the situation , she was cutting me off and I couldn’t believe how disrespectful she was. Also she had no clue why I received those letters and she told me I will be called by the billing department who knows when.

UPDATE: If I could leave zero stars, I would. Besides all the issues mentioned below, one of my new crowns just fell out! This crown was just placed last year! I keep my teeth and gums very clean and healthy. This is terrible dental work!

I had been a patient of Summerlin Dental for about 16 years. Had regular cleanings, dental work and Invisalign done there. Practice was always professional, did good work and never had an issue with insurance....until recently. Was told I needed 2 crowns and my fillings redone. Since I had an established relationship with the practice, I trusted what they stated I must have done. Additionally, I'm very cautious of insurance paying for high dollar amount work, I requested this be submitted for pre-authorization and was told it would be submitted. When I arrived for my crown appointments, I was told the pre-auth was submitted to my insurance and payment was due from me (approx 50% due on crowns and 20% due on fillings). $4,870 was submitted to my insurance and I owed $1,640.50, which I paid on date of service. Shortly thereafter, I received EOB's from my insurance denying coverage for the procedures, reason was "no need for this work" as teeth were not bad enough for crowns. I spoke on the phone and visited Summerlin Dental in person to speak with Alondra regarding the insurance rejection. Contrary to what I was told, pre-authorization was NOT submitted to insurance and her/her appeals team would fight my insurance to get the crowns covered. Summerlin Dental was able to eventually get my insurance to cover 1 crown and I was due a credit of $203 due to overpayment (paid $756, owed $553). I requested this be refunded to me several times. To date, no refund sent. The 2nd crown, Summerlin Dental was not able to get insurance to cover. Insurance continued to deny as work was "not needed." Finally, one of the crowns that was redone at Summerlin Dental was done poorly and I went to a different practice to fix the issue. My issues are: 1.) Not submitting pre-authorization to insurance and being dishonest about it 2.) Not issuing refund for overpayment 3.) Dental work needing to be redone at a different practice.

As an anxiety patient, I am not a friend of dentists at all. So it had been a very long time since I had seen the inside of a dental practice. After years, my implants have now loosened and started to hurt.

Dr. Schneider - a great dentist - took a lot of time and explained everything calmly. He asked me at every step if it was OK.
He even did a really good job with the first examination.

The operation - from the admission to the anesthesia was really great. I can already say that I still don't shout hurray loudly when I have to go to the dentist, but Dr. Schneider at least gave me the assurance that they really do everything so that I don't have to be afraid anymore.

This is an amazing Dental office. Everyone speaks and waves even if they’re not personally involved with your care. I just had the worst experience at this office. I wish I could give zero stars. I was essentially turned away because I have no dental insurance. I could only afford the regular cleaning and fluoride treatment and they recommend a deep clean. It was almost $1,000 out of pocket for this upgraded service. Since I couldn't pay out of pocket, they would not treat me at all. I was not allowed to get a cleaning of any kind. I would not recommend this dentist office to my worst enemy. I will be reporting them and they will be getting this review everywhere. What a scam!

Upsell services, beware! I've been going to this dentist due to proximity, and they have always been a bit scammy, by adding extra services I didn't request. $59 for "oral cancer screening?" No thanks! I am a physician so well aware of dental care and dental health. This last time was worse, as I went for routine cleaning and they told me I had to pay $2000 for "deep laser cleaning". They refused to do regular dental care for me. I know a scam when I hear one. Who has $2000 for routine dental care? I was able to get my routine cleaning from another nearby dentist for around $200.

Dr. Malik is amazing! He listens and addresses your concerns and gives you all treatment options. Recently, I had to have a crown and he was so gentle that I did not feel any pain when he injected me with the anesthetic.

This was the first time ever I did not feel pain and discomfort when getting a dental injection.

Going to the dentist is normally awful. Thanks to Summerlin dental I'm back on track and out of pain. They will go out of their way to make sure you're comfortable and never make you feel embarrassed. The doctor does a terrific job explaining and answering questions and the cleanings have been very throughout and the hygenist is amazing. They can do IV sedation or Nitrous. Sometimes it can take a bit to get an appointment and there is a wait but these people are by far the best I've ever been to and worth the wait.

They will tell you there is more wrong with your teeth and that it is worse than it actually is. (Not every one in this office is like this) it’s enough to where I’ll never revisit. I verified this by sending my significant other without saying that was my experience. She came back and told me they did the same to her telling her she left feeling very concerned about here mouth health when she went regularly in Houston. We go to willow springs dental off hualipai. Our experience has been night and day, they tell you exactly what’s going on without upselling. Summerlin dental does have a nice office though.

This dentists office used to be great and I had gone for years. My last couple of experiences have brought me to this review. They seem to be terribly unorganized. I showed up for an appointment in December to be told my insurance would not cover the cleaning because my last one was less than 6 months ago (July), whoever scheduled my 6 month appointments should have thought about this, no?

Fast forward to now, January, I had a 9:30 appointment. Someone took me back and polished a few of my teeth (yes, not all of them lol) and told me the hygienist would be there soon. I waited until 10am (30 minutes after my appt time) and still had not seen a hygienist. Decided it was time to up and leave, no one seemed to care.

I’ve been a patient at Summerlin Dental for over 20 years. Dr Murray retired last year and sold the practice to P3 Medical. Since then, everytime I go in for cleaning I need a new crown, or 2 crowns. Last time Dr Urban said I needed Invisalign braces and 2 fillings replaced. When I went in for fillings he then told me instead of fillings he did a “crown rebuild” after insurance it went from the $35 to $165. Then crowns would be $1000 after insurance. I heard him tell the patient in the next room the exact same thing he told me about needing crowns. When he walked out he told his assistant he was switching from fillings to crown rebuild and she replied “are you sure?” I was already feeling like every visit was more dental work and did not trust him. I finally scheduled for crowns and the day before my appointment they called and said Dr Urban was no longer there and a dentist I’d never met would be doing my crowns. I canceled and found a new dentist. Dr Amy Gearin is terrific. Told me I don’t need crowns or braces at this time. I will never go back to Summerlin Dental.

If you’re looking for a new office, BE AWARE!!! DR URBAN will lie to you so you can be tricked into dental treatment. He will replace your crown even if their isn’t anything wrong with your old crown, in my opinion this is border line unethical work. Then after your insurance company will send you a bill up to a few thousand. There is constant waiting over an hour for your appointment and then they push you to buy treatment, though most times the treatment isn’t needed. They will want to do the treatment the same day which is MORE waiting, at least a hour more. If Dr. Urban is your dentist there could be times he leaves the room for extended periods mid treatment. For a “multi million dollar office “ there are tears and rips in the chairs; moldy hoses, sink doors hanging off the hinges, scuff marks on the walls, trash and things on the floors, I’m honestly surprised OSHA hasn’t given the office a visit. The new manager Lori seems to not know what she is doing, raises her voice and speaks down to her assistants. The staff are also told to use the restroom outside of the office but reprimanded when they leave by the manager.

Went in for the 99 new patient special which was supposed to include x-rays, a check-up, and cleaning. After x-rays they proceeded to tell me they couldn't do a normal cleaning, and I needed a special cleaning that would cost 1,400 dollars. For some context, I have been to the dentist regularly for my entire life (I'm in my late 30's), and have never been told anything close to what they tried to tell me. According to them I needed all this expensive work and right away as my teeth are basically about to fall out. In the end they refused to clean my teeth, charged me 49 dollars and sent me home.

I just (3 days ago) received a coupon in the mail for $99 cleaning/X-ray/Exam and wanted to use it toward a first visit and I was told they could not honor it. They tried to tell me if I read the fine print it had been expired, but I kindly told her it’s dated for 12/31/21 and they still did not want to honor it and informed me that reg price was $150-250.
I understand that they could have been sent out unintentionally but that’s also not my fault as a potential patient. The business should honor that coupon instead of simply saying they don’t want to.
I was also notified that I wasn’t the only one asking either. In the end she said it would then be a Corp issue but nothing they can do for me now regardless.
Just a shame to be spoken to like that and treated like my business doesn’t matter. Makes it appear as though they feel they can turn away patients at their leisure, and to me that’s beyond unprofessional.
I hope this goes to Corp so nobody else has to be made to feel less for inquiring about a coupon for a service they got a “phony” flyer for.

After visiting some dentists around town over the past few years, I have found a home at Summerlin Dental. From check in to check out, I felt like I was in good hands. Now after many visits through my dental health improvement journey, I find myself happy to visit the dentist and enjoy the atmosphere. They clearly take pride in their office and I am happy to have found them. Dr. Schneider's a great communicator and has the perfect vibe making going to the dentist pleasant instead of a chore. My mom has been coming to this dentist for about a year now. I was reluctant to change dentists because I didn’t have insurance. Then I fell and broke my tooth last week. They got me in and fixed my tooth for a reasonable fee. We came up with a treatment plan and are well on the way to overall better oral health. The staff is friendly and the doctors explain everything so well it puts you at ease. They are definitely my dentists forever now.

Summerlin Dental is an absolutely first class operation. The staff are friendly and helpful and the practice offers complete dental services. Dr. Schneider is extremely detail oriented and does excellent work. It's nice to know I can get anything done here with complete confidence.

My experience here was very very poor. Here is why:

With Summerlin Dental's office near my own in Tivoli I decided to go in for X-rays and an exam. The fee was $183. I walked out with a recommendation for 6 fillings and 1 crown at a cost of $3000.00. Feeling their diagnosis was so unusual for me, I went elsewhere to another dentist office for a second independent opinion and made sure not to tell the second dentist about the results offered by Summerlin Dental so as not to influence the results.

The second dentist, who has over a decade or more in dentistry, amazingly found zero cavities with no need for either fillings nor a crown. Stunned, at the huge disparity in results I called Summerlin Dental back, cancelled my future appointments and asked for a refund of my $183. Lacking an office manager I spoke with their billing person Diana who basically said that these x-rays and exams are just a matter of opinion and so they wouldn't refund my money.

Just as surprising the person I spoke with at Summerlin Dental seemed absolutely un-phased by my telling of what had happened in their office... that results were so very different... and that they had a very unhappy patron of their business. Who knows? Maybe this type of thing happens at Summerlin Dental all the time? I don't know, but where I come from we call this type of treatment a scam.

I'd recommend against Summerlin Dental.
