I had foot pain for a couple of weeks, thinking it was a plantars wart or corn, I called Summerlin foot and ankle- they had a very quick response time- within 5 days. I was seen within 10 minutes of my appointment. The Dr. Assessed and identified that I didn't have a natural issue- rather I had a pebble in the ball of my foot! A pebble-haha- He removed it in office- quick, a little painful, yet completely relieving. I walked out and am all fixed up.

The supporting staff is very attentive, well trained, and as a whole, this practice is on point and smoothly operated!!

The ladies working at the front desk were extremely unprofessional and made what should have been a routine experience unnecessarily stressful.

The woman who handles the TRICARE referrals had a particularly unpleasant attitude, both in person and over the phone. She repeatedly spoke over me without taking the time to listen to or understand my situation. She was ultimately mistaken about the circumstances, yet never took any accountability for the way she handled the interaction. Instead, she made several rude and unnecessary comments that were completely inappropriate for a healthcare setting.

Unfortunately, the situation became even more concerning when she and another employee, Julie, made unprofessional and disrespectful comments about me, my referral, and my appointment while speaking to each other behind the thin sliding window at the front desk. They appeared to think I couldn't hear them, but I could—and so could other patients sitting in the waiting room. Having personal information and details about my care discussed openly where other patients could hear was extremely uncomfortable and raised serious concerns about patient privacy and confidentiality. HIPAA VIOLATION.

Despite how disrespectfully I was treated, I chose to remain calm and handle the situation with grace rather than respond with the same negative energy.

After my appointment, I immediately scheduled my future care with a different podiatrist's office. Unfortunately, the way the front desk staff handled my situation completely overshadowed my experience and left me feeling disrespected and uncomfortable.

Patients deserve to be treated with professionalism, courtesy, and respect—especially when dealing with healthcare and personal medical information. I sincerely hope the office addresses the way these interactions are handled in the future.

Dr Kooyman is the best! In less than 24 hours I was able to walk normally again with no heel pain. He provided a very effective stretching exercise which is miraculous. My husband, Sam had foot surgery to repair a foot surgery gone wrong by another doctor. From the first visit, Dr. Grant Yonemoto gave us both a sense of hope that things would turn out differently this time. He answered all our questions with professionalism and patience. He didn't sugar coat what Sam would face during recovery.
The surgery went very well. What really blew us away was the aftercare Sam got. Dr Yonemoto was completely hands on, seeing Sam weekly for months until he was satisfied that Sam's recovery was complete. And the best part ... Sam is not longer lame and can resume normal activities after a long dry spell

Absolutely TERRIBLE. Called them at 11:30am to book an appointment for my toe. Call picked up, but nobody answered and heard receptionists laughing and typing, but nobody answered. Been struggling with Planter Faciatis for over 20 years.
Dr. Cade has been my podiatrist for over 20 years.
I am a Licensed and Practicing Barber for 47 years and distance runner for over 50 years. Planter Faciatis has stopped me from running, around when I was 50 years of age.
Dr. Cade has treated me well with existing conventional treatment plans and has kept my feet feeling good the last 20yrs.
Now fast forward to August 2023, I completed my 3rd and final treatment September 6th. This New apparatus approved by FDA and SummerlinFoot and Ankle has this available now. Sound Wave and Radio Waves, I believe.
After 2 weeks of completing my 3 treatment course, this new treatment has my Planter Faciatis %100 gone.
No steroid injections, no special sock remedy, no Advil.
Can’t wait to test my feet on a casual run.

I had surgery about 2 months ago by a podiatrist in Summerlin. It was a minor thing that became a major problem for me. He was out of the country when a big problem arose last week, not returning for several weeks, with no one on call for him.
I got into see Dr. Cade yesterday whom was very caring, knowledgeable, took the time to listen and answer all of my questions and come up with a diagnosis to get me out of a bad situation. His staff was very helpful to get my results on tests that were taken elsewhere. I left there feeling that I was in very good hands, for a change. My medical experiences have not been very positive living here in Las Vegas, as I deal with a chronic illness, but yesterday was a positive experience to a long, nagging surgical experience gone bad!

He nailed my issue, injected cortisone for my heel spur and started feeling better in hours. 3 days out and I'm pain free. This was my first visit to a podiatrist in many years, only due to an ankle accident. I did a LOT of research on Podiatrists before I make the decision to go to Summerlin Foot & Ankle. The Best in Las Vegas! I brought my 80 yo mother here for her foot problem and from the first phone call to make the appointment… Ms Debra was super friendly and very helpful. Moms appointments with Dr. Paul Fawson art absolutely amazing!!

Honestly cannot say enough about how wonderful Dr Fawson takes care of mother’s feet.

He provided insight and remedies above and beyond what we expected…while being extraordinarily patient listening to mom’s concerns and explaining every detail so she understood and felt comfortable.
The technology used for diagnosis and treatment is superior.
Dr Fawson provided us with an excellent comprehensive treatment plan.

Dr. Paul Fawson was wonderful! He was able to treat my daughter's ingrown toenail painlessly! I was so grateful that he took the extra time to ensure this was not a traumatic experience for her.

Also, Deborah at the front desk was so sweet! This is the only doctor's office that has ever offered coloring pages and crayons for my kids. I was so appreciative!

I came in with an embarrassing amount of plantar warts at the end of my rope. I just hoped the Swift machine they had could treat me. It felt like truly a miracle when 4 months later I had completely beautiful pain free feet for the first time in at least 7 years. I am so grateful! The staff was so kind, caring, and very quick to get you treated and on your way without spending your day in the waiting room.

I cannot say enough about this office and the doctors and doctors' assistants. We have used two doctors for three different family members. They practice what should be normal compassionate, caring medicine but now that is rare to find! This is true of two of the doctors we have seen! Both were amazing! When my father in law passed away the doctor sent his regards. What doctor does that these days? I also liked that they didn't rush to surgery but took the time to ask questions and see if a less invasive treatment could be used. They also were attentive to different treatments we had researched. Of the hundreds of doctors I have seen in my life these two doctors are in the top 10! Excellent bed side manner! Excellent knowledge and treatment. Kind and patient and GREAT DOCTORS!

SOOOO after I wrote this I had to take my son for a badly twisted ankle and they took the time to do a check up on my injury and were so caring and GREAT!!! Can't say enough about this practice, from the dr.'s assistants to the staff and the doctors! I wish they could take care of all my medical needs!

I would like to start of with the front desk. They were very personable and friendly. The new patient paperwork was quick and easy compared to other doctors offices I have been to. They sanitize their hands before taking your ID and Insurance and keep the area clean. Social distancing was also done to help patients feel safe due to covid-19.
Dr. Fawson's assistant was very professional and easy to talk to and even offered me a water while I waited. He also scheduled my surgery fast and was very efficient.
Now to Dr. Fawson, I came to this office as a second opinion because the other podiatrist I saw offered no relief for my problems, He listened to my concerns and addressed each one of them in detail. After the xray he advised surgery would be the best route and was very detailed about what to expect.
Checkout process was easy and fast and the woman handling it was very courteous.
All in all this is a great podiatrist office that seems to care about their patients! I finally found a podiatrist I can start sending my family too and trust!

Dr. Fawson and his crew as well as the staff are simply amazing. Started our journey 8 January with three black toes and a scheduled surgery date. He paitiently attended to each one week by week until they were completely healed. Our last appointment today 30 September and we are so happy and thankful for the great care we received.

Rude receptionist/front desk woman. Something seriously wrong with her thought process as when I cas lled as a new patient for an appointment, she kept insisting my name was a double version of my last name. Then insisted my name had to be Crater which it is not. When I asked her where she was searching, she said in her system. I told her I would not be in her system. She said that she asked if I was an existing patient. I told her she never did. She did not. She then said that I said I was and I told her that I am a formal legal professional and know what I said ir did not say. She starting shouting in her unpleasant voice abd I ten terminated the call. People: do not bother with this place as usually, when the front desk personnel are rude and incompetent; things go downhill after that.

Dr I met was fine. Everything else....a disaster. RUDE front desk acted like they were doing me a favor even speaking to me. Phone message ...that you have to listen to every time you call is too long. And you can't go inside, per their directive, until you talk to a person. Out of seven calls I made, I reached a person twice. Five times was routed from one automated message to another and then to voicemail. They didn't seem that busy once inside. Hospital where I had surgery scheduled on a Saturday did not know anything about my upcoming surgery when I went to do the pre-op checkin on a Thursday. Made three calls to Summerlin Foot & Ankle....got tossed from automated message to automated message to voice mail. No call back. I cancelled the surgery on the Friday morning because I had LOST CONFIDENCE in the lack of overall professionalism of this office. At my age I have been to many Dr's offices for many reasons so I have much to compare this office with. My experience with Summerlin Foot & Ankle, other than the actual Dr. I saw, left MUCH to be desired.

Sets a pre-op appointment to tell me to call the hospital and schedule a pre-op by myself after I had already done a pre-op with him a month earlier. 40 minutes in traffic to review the same paperwork I had already signed. Then he cancels my surgery due to me questioning the need for yet another arbitrary appointment.

I have been using the services of the Summerlin Foot and Ankle doctors Cade, Gubler, and Fawson for several years. They are all very competent, professional, and personable and I highly recommend them.
The parking is convenient and the facility is clean and cheerful. The staff is efficient and pleasant throughout the visit. The waiting room is comfortable and relaxing. I can’t elaborate on that because the wait time is never more that a few minutes.
I feel very fortunate that the offices are near where I live because I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else. For those patients that are not as fortunate, I would encourage them to go the extra mile to seek the benefits of the services at Summerlin Foot and Ankle
