I cannot say enough incredible things about Dr. John Bowman. He truly saved my life.

When I first came to him, my health was in a place that felt overwhelming and honestly scary. Not only did he take the time to really listen and understand what was going on, but he approached everything with a level of care, knowledge, and determination that is rare to find.

I just want to say I feel blessed to have found Dr. B. He saved my life! I have Lyme disease and got diagnosed really late on. I had multiple symptoms, I was scared and so tired of being sick. My first visit with Dr. B was amazing he really cares and takes his time to get to know you and figure out the root causes to your health issues. He treats you as a whole person. He addressed so many things not just my Lyme disease. He educated me so much on diet, protocols, and the steps I have to take to get better. The staff also provides so much support. I pray for Dr. B daily because he saved my life and he got me better quicker than I thought. Doctors like him are so rare to find. He taught me things that I will take with me for the rest of my life, because of him I believe I can stay in remission and I now have the tools and knowledge for flare ups. I know what I need to do. I also know I can always count on him to be there and help me through my health journey. I am so grateful for him and his staff Sydney, Renee, and Rachel all made me feel loved and welcomed. I have been an Orthopedic Physical Therapist for 30 years and over that time period I have treated thousands of patients with neck and back pain. I know from experience that a traditional medical and pharmaceutical approach to treating chronic pain is less than effective. As a strong proponent of Holistic and Natural medicine, Dr B's Functional Medicine philosophy was a perfect fit for me, but more than that, his extensive wisdom and expertise in REGENERATIVE ORTHOPEDICS was exactly the treatment I needed for low back pain. I have extensive degenerative changes from years of sport so Dr B, decided to use my plasma (PRP) and Ozone as an injection to help regenerate the large ligament in my spine to provide stability. After 2 treatments I have no pain and have returned to walking and working out. In addition, Dr B has prescribed an array of supplements to address inflammation and my gut biome for overall health and wellness. The benefits of finding the root cause (Genesis) of a problem and then fixing this cannot be overstated. Dr. Bowman will prescribe the necessary tests and evaluations to make that determination and offer the alternative methods to cure and prevent recurrence of the problem.

My health has changed so much for the better in the 5 months since I've been seeing Dr. Bowman! After 3 years of "mystery" symptoms, many trips to the emergency room and numerous doctors who didn't really listen & just treated symptoms, I now feel HEARD and CARED FOR. From my first visit, where Dr. Bowman just sat and talked with me extensively, listened, then came up with a game plan, I knew I was in the right place. Several of the things he suspected were confirmed with lab work. I'm being treated both with natural remedy's and conventional meds as needed. Dr. Bowman is so kind, caring and attentive. I've been seeing Dr. Bowman since around August of 2019. After having a condition for over 20 years, he's the first doctor that accurately diagnosed me and is now successfully treating me. He's patient, thoughtful, thorough and he genuinely cares about helping people get well. I cannot recommend him highly enough. Also, Sydney, who works at the front desk is not only professional and great at her job, but is simply one of the nicest people on the planet. She goes above and beyond!

I am so grateful to have found Dr. Bowman on my journey towards wellness. After being misdiagnosed for over 38 years, Dr. Bowman named 4 possible causes for my ailments during my first office visit (prior to any lab work) and I had all 4 of the conditions he mentioned (verified by labs).
In the past, bandaids were just put over symptoms for me. I am thankful that Dr. Bowman identified the root cause of my issues and now we have a plan of action to follow.
If you are looking for a LLMD, I highly recommend Dr. Bowman. He really knows his stuff and keeps up with the latest research. He is compassionate and accessible. Sydney, in the front office, is wonderful. She is patient and answers my questions and if she doesn't have the answer, she gets back to me. I always feel welcome when I go there for my appointments. Unfortunately, he was not able to help me and it was expensive for what I got. The final report was very disappointing to me. His final advice to me if nothing worked was to buy some sort of worm eggs up in Utah. I had a extreme case of eczema or atopic dermatitis. Recommenced some supplements you could buy from him of try and find them else where. Diet was not addressed etc. I could go on but go ahead and try him if you think it is a good fit.

I’m so glad I decided to start seeing Dr. Bowman.

I wanted a doctor who would take the time to understand *me*, Dr. Bowman does that.

I was very overweight when I first saw him and under his guidance I’ve lost 40lbs in 5 months and I’m keeping it off.

He ordered the appropriate tests to find out what supplements I needed in order for my body and gut to be functional properly.

Functional Medicine makes so much sense; instead of waiting until sometime is wrong and then treating symptoms Dr. Bowman gets to the cause of the issue and does what’s needed to correct it so that the body is functioning as it should.

In all honesty I feel amazing, I have more energy and more interest in life than I have in years.

Dr. Bowman is a most incredible Doctor with an extreme amount of Orthopedic surgery experience at Mayo Clinic. He has knowledge in anti-aging, and hair issues. He uses PRP in the Orthopedic area. He fully understands rebuilding with autogenous cells.
Detoxification, Chelation, IV C and other therapies are all available and become simple and understandable in his care.
He has trained with the most knowledgeable Ozone Doctors in the world. His functional, biological, integrative, alternative medical experience and knowledge is massive. He is competent in treating Lyme disease, auto-immune system diseases, thyroid, hormones, and So much more.

Dr. Bowman is an old school expert in multiple specialties which is why he is so good with mystery diseases, such as chronic Lyme. He goes beyond treating symptoms and looks for the root cause. He has good bedside manners, a nice office, a nice staff, and he is really smart. For me I appreciate his expertise in Lyme, orthopedics, and the fact that he uses both alternative and mainstream strategies for better outcomes. I'm a tough case and he has been able to help me a lot, way more than the average doc.

Dr Bowman is an amazing LLMD and Functional Dr. he’s always there when I need questions answered. He does the right tests and helped me identify what was wrong with me where all other drs failed. He’s so good I still see him virtually since we moved to Los Angeles. He’s your man, he’ll figure it out. Save your money and go straight here.

Dr. Bowman ordered physical therapy and an x ray of my hip. The therapy didn't help and he said the x ray showed a little arthritis but nothing serious and that because of what the xray showed, he didn't need to order an MRI. He recommended a PRP injection which was expensive (cash only) and did nothing. He suggested more injections down the road. Pain got worse so I got an xray and MRI and my new Dr. said my arthritis is severe in that hip and showed me that and a bone spur on the xray and the MRI confirmed all of this. I am told my hip is bone on bone and that I need a hip replacement. So I wasted 8 months and a lot of money with Dr. Bowman and I would not recommend him.

I couldn't be happier to write a review for Dr. Bowman, in fact I am just going to copy and paste what I emailed his office on Oct 10th of this year. I have had Lyme disease for many many years and I didn't ever know what it was, he listened and diagnosed me quickly and we got to work. I am a mother of four who had NO energy and so much pain. Here is what I wrote to him after only 4 months of being his patient: I know I need to come into your office for a lab update, but I couldn’t go a minute longer without saying THANK YOU AGAIN.
