I had such a wonderful experience with Dr. Tran and her assistant. I was a bit nervous going in because I hadn’t had a checkup in a while, but Dr. Tran immediately made me feel at ease. She was thorough, kind, and took the time to explain everything clearly, including showing me my X-ray images and helping me understand the importance of regular checkups.

Unfortunately, I did have a cavity, which was my biggest fear, but Dr. Tran made the entire process seamless. She explained each step as she went, checked in often to make sure I was comfortable, and made sure I wasn’t in any pain. Her clinical skills are truly next level.

On top of being an excellent dentist, Dr. Tran is personable, easy to talk to, and answered all of my questions and concerns. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dentist who is skilled, honest, and genuinely cares about her patients. She also doesn’t try to overcharge, which I really appreciate!

We have been loyal customers for more than 16 years and have even recommended friends and family because of how satisfied we were with the care and service we received. Unfortunately, this recent experience has left me feeling disappointed and betrayed.

My son had a metal cap/space maintainer placed on his tooth to prevent misalignment while his adult tooth was coming in. At the time, the dentist recommended waiting six months before evaluating whether it should be removed. I agreed with the treatment plan and paid for the procedure.

What concerns me is that I was never informed that there would be additional charges to remove the appliance in the future. Had this been clearly explained from the beginning, I would have understood and agreed to the cost as part of the treatment plan.

After six months, the dentist recommended leaving the appliance in place a little longer and reassessing at the next visit. Now, at our most recent appointment, I asked for it to be removed because it has started bothering my son. To my surprise, I was told that I would need to pay an additional fee for the removal because it is now more difficult to take off.

My question is simple: Why was I not informed of these future charges when the appliance was first placed? I reasonably believed that the treatment, including any necessary removal, was part of the original service. If I had been made aware of the potential costs upfront, I would have been able to make a fully informed decision and would have had no issue paying the amount.

My frustration is not with the fee itself, but with the lack of transparency. As a long-time customer, I expected clear communication regarding all costs associated with my son's treatment. I hope you can understand why this situation feels unfair and why I am seeking a reasonable resolution.

Quick Update: after an hour when we got home. I check my sons maintainer and pop off using my finger and came off no problem. Thinking that A. Dr has no clue how to remove this or B. They want to milk any penny they can out of me and the insurance.

Called to find out what it would cost to have a simple denture printed or made. Nothing medical, no problem, no diagnosis needed, scan and produce a product. They refused to give a quote. If they can't say the cost of something, you are the product.

This business practice exists to force you into a sum cost fallacy mindset, because you've already had an exam, already had the radiation of a scan you're more likely to pay whatever they want you to. Don't go anywhere like that, you'll save a lot of heartache.

Been going here since 2010 if I remember right. Wife has been going here even longer. Never had a bad experience here. Staff is on point and very friendly. I’ve had phenomenal interactions with all of the Doctors here. Very professional, and they always take good care of me. Even when it comes to explaining something I might not fully grasp. In my honest opinion hands down this is the best dentist office I’ve been to. I will continue going to Summerlin Smiles, they got me for life.

Drove down a fair distance here for the past three years for teeth cleaning, which has been good and the reason for the +1 star, otherwise this would be a 1 star review.

Since November of 2023, I have been a patient of Dr. Anghesom for two crowns that I needed in the lower rear molars on either side of my mouth, which previously had fillings but both of which were cracked.

During the initial installation procedure, the dental assistant to Dr. Anghesom was quite unprofessional. At one point she dropped my new crown on the floor and then tried to put it right back in my mouth without disinfecting it. When I told her that she needed to clean it, her response was "with what?", as if she did not realize the ground was covered in germs and the crown needed to be sterilized. She also was very impatient with me during the painful procedure, asking me if I just want to stop and come back another day instead of having a few moments here and there to deal with the pain. Dr. Anghesom also had to continue to ask her to do things that normally I would expect an assistant to know how and what to do in such clinical procedures. This was all very concerning.

In all instances of installing the new crowns (new or fixed ones), even though Dr. Anghesom knew that my crowns would need to be buffed down so that I could close my mouth properly, it was primarily his assistants that did that sanding down work on my crown and not himself. I found it strange he did not want to do this careful work himself since he was said he was ultimately responsible for his work. Indeed its possible both crowns got the chipped hole because the sanding down was not done properly.

By August of 2025, both crowns had a hole and came right off just during eating regular meals. Dr. Anghesom said he wanted to correct his work for the first broken crown so I forgave the previous issues and allowed that to occur, but now, two months later, the other crown has also gotten a hole and come right out. I don't have the time or patience to continue working through a painful procedure for someone to get all their work done right a second time, and maybe even more after that!

I have already gone to a different dentist who said the issue was not the material the crown was made of, but the "technique" of the previous dentist. My assumption now is that I will need to get the repaired crown fixed yet again.

Guess I should have seen the writing on the wall with the assistant's Dr. Anghesom employs and known I was not at a dental office that takes the careful attention to detail for something as costly and important (and painful) as permanent new teeth, which my new dentist said "should last at least 10-15 years if not possibly forever"!

Dr. Anghesom did not want to offer any kind of refund for the two cracked crowns. He did offer to repair his work at no cost, but two repairs is not a coincidence and he did not want to offer and refund beyond fixing what I think should have been done correctly in the first place. Needless to say, I will not be returning to Summerlin Smiles and have cancelled all my future appointments with the team.

I don't take the time to business reviews on google regularly, but felt so disappointed by this entire experience that it was necessary to warn other possible patients and to recommend they go elsewhere for important dental work outside of teeth cleaning at Summerlin Smiles.

I was recommended to Summerlin Smiles by my coworker who's been coming here for years. She had beautiful teeth and raves about this clinic. I called, and Morgan on the phone was super nice and very helpful.

She was able to get me in really fast because of my dental situation.
The day of my appointment went super smooth, everyone in the office was kind, attentive, and professional. The front desk staff was also very helpful and patient, which I really appreciated. The office is clean, organized, and has a calm vibe.
Dr. Meron Anghesom was amazing! He was knowledgeable, friendly, and kind. His assistant Tysa (hope I'm spelling her name right!) was also great, she helped me feel comfortable the whole time. Both she and Dr. Anghesom were super gentle and have such great bedside manner, which made a big difference for me.

Dr. Anghesom was able to get me in for a root canal the same day. My insurance didn't cover much, but I was in so much pain I didn't even bother shopping around, and honestly, I'm glad I didn't. The procedure went smoothly, and I feel so much better now. I can finally drink water without wanting to cry! Such a great relief to finally be able to get back into my normal life routine again!

I'm truly grateful for how everything was handled, and I can't wait to start my healthy teeth journey with Dr.
Meron Anghesom and the whole Summerlin Smiles team!

Unfortunately I was 25 min late and I was told that My Scheduled Hygienist only had 15 min grace period and that I would have to reschedule. I understand completely my fault for being late.

I only ask that it might be a 30 min grace period especially for someone that hasn’t missed a scheduled appointment in the past, pays out of pocket for most procedures, about $1100 a tooth, and I have had over 20 Crowns done out of pocket. The availability of appointments are only at the convenience of the practice which is to be understood, but being a very busy person who has to move my schedule around for every appointment, a 30 min grace period would have made a difference, I was literally 2 min from pulling into the parking lot.

I'm glad I went to this dental office as a second opinion. Best decision ever, they were informative with my issues. They helped me go through it and also did their best to calm me down (I get anxiety from dentist lol). I make a point of never reviewing ANYTHING on line, but Dr. Kitchen and the staff at Summerlin Smiles are making me do otherwise. I had two teeth crack during COVID and Dr. Kitchen took care of me with such talent and compassion I can never thank her enough. The staff from front desk to chair is excellent. If you need dental care, I cannot recommend this practice enough.

I have been a patient for more than 10 years, and I feel as though Summerlin Smiles and I have a great relationship. Every dentist has treated me, and I believe I have met everyone at the Russell/Ft. Apache location. I have even been to their other location and it was the same great experience. They sent me there as an option for expediting a treatment I needed - no wait for me.

Dr. Lee has always been around to make sure my treatments are going well and I always get motivated to go to the gym after I talk with him. :-) Dr. Kitchen really cares about her patients and takes time to listen and explain and make you feel comfortable. Dr. Dean has treated me the most and I really value his expertise and engaging demeanor. Even Dr. Anghesom has treated me. The first time I met him was the perfect opportunity to pull the old "dog jaw" joke on him. :-)

Let's talk about, Lynn. She is the rock at that place and is a person I rely on. She has always looked for ways to accommodate my needs, listen to me, and even has taken the time to explain in detail questions that I had.

Wow, the from desk team - I wish I knew all their names, and all the dental assistants and hygienists, every one of them that I have interacted with has demonstrated skill, knowledge, empathy, and attention to detail.

Is it obvious that I love this place? Seems weird to look forward to visiting your dentist, haha.

Dr Lee is very efficient; he identifies any problems that arise, e.g. misaligned bite, and quickly makes minor adjustments to correct it. My time spent in his chair is always used to the maximum, and includes computer stored images of my alignment progress, and a quick preview of the coming months. He provides me with all the needed alignment tools, sets of new trays and rubber bands of exact strength tension I need. He never wastes my time, yet gives personalized attention.

I’ve been a customer at this location for about two years. Luckily no major work for me (yet) as I visit for bi-annual cleanings.

I am very happy with the Cheyenne the dental hygienist as she is efficient, effective, and tender while cleaning leaving me without pain in my gums. Although I can’t sleep through the cleaning process like she told me about one of her patients I certainly am relaxed and trusting as she does her job.

My preferred dentist is Dr. Sarah Kitchen as she shares options, caution, and listens well which I appreciate. Keep in mind I’ve thankfully not pressed her into major dental work to evaluate those specific skillsets.

Lastly, I’ve not had much interaction with the front office but all good so far with that team as they are friendly and helpful.

This is probably the 10th dentist and office I’ve had as I have moved around the country through my adult life and I would rank this crew as #2.

They're always extremely booked out and you can't miss an appointment (I book out 2 at a time for that reason, but if you miss one you have to wait at least another 6 months or it's an inconvenient reschedule of date and time). Their dentist availability is always inconsistent. I've booked with a different dental office for that reason. Their actual services are great though 👍

It is so sad when doctors become business people and forget their patients are human
My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Lee for over 12 years and for the last few years his team has worked on our teeth with terrible results
I had Invisalign for 5 years and still have not covered the gab promised by Dr. Lee . My husband had veneers all in different colors and sizes and they keep falling off , yet they don’t have a permanent solution
When they moved from their Henderson location to Summerlin , there was no communication and left us hanging with pending work needed to be done
They are too busy to care !!!
