Working with the staff at The DOCS has been easy...working with insurance has not. I must thank Chase for going the EXTRA mile and effort to submit PAs, help with scheduling and explanation of prescribing pharmacy policies...So, thank you Chase, I think I may have given up if not for you.

My daughter has been in Dr. Dewan’s care since she was two weeks old. She is 15 now and their bond is absolutely wonderful to see. He is an amazing doctor and will be very truthful, we appreciate that! He generally cares and knows what he is doing! We completely trust Dr. Dewan!

Beyond irritated at the fact that I was on time for my appointment and the temporary male NP NEVER came into the room. I sat in a box for OVER ONE HOUR and no one bothered to come in.
An HOUR is ridiculous.
So now not only is there a problem getting them to answer the phones, the Dr can't bother to be curious and timely???

The staff at the Docs for endocrinology was great! The only advice I have is to get a new lab tech for blood draws. She has no idea what she is doing and very rude. To yell at the parents for her not being able to do her own job is insane. We will not be using the lab at the Docs going forward. Go to an independent Quest.

Been going for more than 4 years. Dr. Dwan is amazing. It never feels like a Dr visit. My son loves him. He is patient and very caring. He always asked how he is doing not only for his physical health but his well being over all.
Thank you Dr.Dwan.

Still no prescription, after a doctors visit to re-evaluate and recommend the one now covered by the insurance to “make it easier” laughable!

I wish there were a zero-star option available. The doctor is fine and knowledgeable, but the office staff is absolutely terrible. There is zero sense of urgency or care.
My child has now gone two weeks without necessary prescriptions because of the staff’s incompetence and lack of communication. I have had to do their job for them, researching resources, contacting our insurance company, and arranging three-way calls just to get everyone communicating. Even after all of that, they still find excuses instead of solutions. The new one is that you need an appointment for forms to be filled out.
This has been one of the worst medical office experiences I have ever had. When a child’s medication is involved, this level of negligence and indifference is completely unacceptable.

My experience at this clinic has been extremely horrible. My thyroid doctor, who I believe is named Kate, scheduled follow-up appointments every two months. During my first visit, she prescribed medication, but I never received it from the pharmacy. At my second appointment, we confirmed the correct pharmacy information again, yet I still never received the prescription.

At my third appointment, I was told that it was "good" I never received the medication because my condition had supposedly changed from hyperthyroidism to hypothyroidism, so the medication was no longer necessary. Then, at my fourth appointment, I was told my condition had changed again and still never received my prescribed medication.

As a result of not receiving proper treatment, I experienced severe shortness of breath at school and fainted. My mother took me to an urgent care clinic, where they instructed us to go to the emergency room immediately. At the hospital, I was told that my condition had worsened and that I needed to be admitted so my heart could be monitored. I was prescribed the necessary medication right away and received it within three days.

It is incredibly frustrating that after nearly two years of appointments at this clinic, I still never received the medication I needed. Still i was told it's the only place that specializes in my condition but there delay in treatment put my health at serious risk.

This a late post but I would like to share our experience. My daughter was 16 years old then in 2022 and was under the care of their endocrinologist due to morbid obesity for almost 2 years. By early 2024 we aaked this doctor that wegovy might be goid to prescribe to her because she is continuously gaining weight (family history of obesity) and she’s getting close 200 lbs at 5 foot at 16 years old. This doctor flat out refused and told us our insurance Tricare will deny it and we won’t be able to pay it in cash. He was very disassociate and unbothered by his patient’s condition. He didn’t even try. We went back to Dignity Health Pediatric Endocrinology and was prescribed in Wegovy in 2024 and our insurance Tricare approved it! Her current doctor in Dignity Health is mich more attented and showed real concern on their patient’s plight. Now my daughter have lost weight and maintained her weight with excercise, diet, and aided by the wegovy. I would suggest always do what your guy feeling tells you and never listen to some doctors at DOCS like this who care less about their patient.

THE WORST.. From the moment you walk into this place it seems like every one who works there has attitude problems. It was my second visit with my kid and not once were we received with a smile. First visit I was supposed to see a Doctor they threw me with a Nurse Practitioner who didn’t know anything. I let it be, but for my second visit I’ve requested a knowledgeable Doc… To my surprise I was stuck with same Nurse cause the grouchy receptionist said there was no request from me on my prior visit. I believe my insurance should get their money back because the information I got from that nurse Google could’ve done a better job. Save your money and time NEVER come HERE.

I am deeply grateful for his unwavering dedication to her well-being. Dr. Dewan is undoubtedly the most exceptional endocrinologist I am aware of. I extend my sincere appreciation to his staff for their consistently polite and helpful demeanor.

This place is the worst! The office staff have really nasty attitudes at all times. They never relay messages, and they never get back to you when needing an answer to a question or to schedule an appointment. Doctor dewan constantly calls in the wrong script and when I try to correct it, it takes a month. When I try to voice my concerns about office staff with Dr. Dewan, he does nothing about it and makes excuses. Waiting times are 30 mins+. Make sure you pay close attention to everything, because once you leave, you will just get the run around, if you need help or have a question. Dr. Dewan has called in the wrong prescription for my daughter more than once. You would think he would make notes about what meds have made her sick in the past. Then, when you call the office to correct it, you get nothing but attitude, and be prepared to wait a long time for the office staff to correct it. They do not care about you!!!! I have never been so frustrated with a Doctors office in my life. I cannot stress enough how disgusting the office staff treats their patients. This Doctor is super unorganized and never follows though. I would definitely suggest going elsewhere.

This is hands down the worst experience I have ever had at a doctor’s office. The level of incompetence here from the front desk to the actual medical staff is shocking.

The Front Desk is Useless:
I arrived on time for my 3:00 PM appointment. The two ladies working the front desk told me I had a payment due, but neither of them had any idea how to process a standard FSA credit card. They wasted time fumbling around with the machine, and instead of just checking me in, they left me sitting in the waiting room for 45 minutes without actually putting me in the system.

I sat there watching multiple people who arrived way after me get called back first and my 5 year old kid slept. When I finally went up at 3:45 PM to ask why I was being skipped, the receptionist casually admitted she hadn't checked me in yet because she still didn't know how to process the payment. Complete and utter incompetence.

The Bait-and-Switch Medical Care:
It gets worse. I was explicitly promised an appointment with a Doctor (MD) because I have multiple complex health issues. Instead, a Nurse Practitioner (NP) finally strolled into the room at 4:30 PM—1 hour and 30 minutes after my scheduled time.

This practitioner had absolutely no clue what they were doing. They had zero knowledge of my kid condition and didn't even know what standard tests needed to be run. I literally had to sit there and direct my own medical care, telling the practitioner exactly which tests they needed to order for me base don mhy research.

You are forced to pay upfront by a clueless front desk staff, made to wait forever, and then handed off to an unqualified practitioner who expects you to do their job for them. Unprofessional, disorganized, and completely negligent. Save your time, your money, and your health—do NOT come here.

My issue is not with our doctor. My issue is with the front desk staff and management. The girls are ALWAYS extremely rude and unhelpful. They NEVER say “hello”, just NEXT. And then stare blankly and give rote answers in monotone or an annoyed voice. This has been happening for a looooong time there. The office management is very difficult to get ahold of if you have a problem (and the front desk girls can’t and don’t solve anything) it’s like they purposefully make themselves unavailable to patients. And if you need to call in and speak to someone? Forget it. Nearly impossible. Usually nearly impossible when you’re THERE in person! We consistently get surprise charges when we check in at EVERY visit, left over from the previous appointment (where we paid everything we were asked to pay) and they demand we pay them before we get checked in. This does not happen at any other doctor’s office and we have multiple specialists we see. I have complained several times to our doctor about the state of his office, and the difficulty in trying to work with the employees there, but he says he can’t do anything about it (he shares the practice with several other doctors). We keep coming here because there are not a lot of pediatric endocrinologists in Las Vegas and our has seen our son for years, but we REALLY hate how this office is run.

Dr. Dewan is informative and helpful. His staff is not. The front desk is openly rude and make you feel like you're a burden for even arriving. This is the WORST doctor’s office I have ever been to. The front staff have been unprofessional every time I’ve taken my child to appointments here.

In late April, we had an appointment with a provider who told us they wanted to increase my child’s dosage to twice daily due to recent weight gain and an elevated A1C compared to previous months. We were specifically instructed on how and when the medication should be taken.

When I went to the pharmacy to pick up the prescription, it had been sent exactly the same as before with no changes made. Before picking it up, I contacted the office. Someone placed me on a long hold while they supposedly called the pharmacy to correct the issue. I was told everything had been taken care of.

I returned to the pharmacy and was told nothing had changed and no one from the office had contacted them. I called the office back and was told the provider had already left for the day. They also said there were no notes regarding the issue and that someone would call me Monday after speaking with the provider.

Monday came and I never received a call, so I contacted the office again before closing. At that point, I was told the provider had left a note stating she never intended to increase the dosage, but instead said my child could split the same pill into two doses if needed.

That explanation made absolutely no sense. Splitting the same dosage into two times a day does not increase the medication amount or address the concerns about my child’s elevated levels, which was the entire reason for discussing medication changes in the first place. It was also not what we were told during the appointment.

When I asked if I could speak directly with the provider for clarification, I was told she would not call me back and that I would need to schedule another appointment. That was extremely frustrating considering the purpose of the original appointment was to address this exact issue.

Eventually, they agreed to schedule a phone appointment, but the staff member handling it was rude and clearly irritated that I was asking questions and trying to understand the conflicting information.

Later, when they called to confirm the appointment, I mentioned it was supposed to be a phone visit. The person confirming appointments told me it was actually scheduled as an in-office appointment, but said they could change it.

Then today, my scheduled phone appointment was set for 11:00 AM, yet the provider called me at 10:30 AM and immediately answered with, “Hello, yes you have a question regarding your child?” Not only was it before the scheduled appointment time, but it also felt dismissive and unprofessional. Therefore, I canceled this appointment.

At this point, I will no longer be taking my child here. I do not feel comfortable trusting my child’s health with a provider and staff who are this inconsistent, unorganized, and careless with communication.

On the positive side, the facility is very clean and I was satisfied with the consultation I had with the doctor. However, the administrative side of the visit was disappointing. I waited in the exam room for 30 minutes before the doctor arrived, which felt excessive.

More concerning was the front desk staff. The individual who signed me in (a woman with red hair I think I heard her name was "Celest") was noticeably grumpy and dismissive. Her unprofessional attitude made me feel unwelcome and has me reconsidering if I want to return to this practice. I hope management addresses this, as the clinical care is good, but the patient experience at the front desk needs significant work."

My daughter was a patient here 8 years ago, Dr. Dewan has been great and very informative with her medications. We left after a year of seeing him because the office staff are incompetent. Meet with Dr. Dewan and he is still great! However, the office runs the same. Living in Las Vegas the number of endocrinologists are below low. The docs is one of the few places that provide endocrinologists. Having issues for the past year I was excited to finally be seen. Yet the day of my appointment they canceled due to the doctor leaving early, they set an appointment a month later and canceled my appointment again due to the doctor leaving early. It seems the doctor leaves early every Friday which are the only days i can take a late appointment due to my job with the state of Nevada. They don’t care about the health of there patients and care more about calling off. If you don’t want to be a doctor quit so people can get the help they need. Then the front office likes to hang up on there patients when we start expressing ourselves about the frustration. I will highly recommend anyone who has issues that need an endocrinologist to not go here.

So I have a sensor in his arm and he’s low all the time but Dr Dewan said to not feed him anything that he can drop into the 40s. I’ve researched so much and I can’t find ANYWHERE where it says that in order to diagnose that, except for neonatal, it has to be in the 40s.
I’m just so over this place. But he’s the only pediatric doctor that takes my son’s diagnosis.
The office staff and the medical assistants couldn’t care less about the patients. They are rude and cold. Last time I was there I was sitting in front of one receptionist and she wanted me to sign something, I asked for a pen and she scoffed at me and said “pens are over in front of the desk.” So when I started to get up to get one she’s like “no you can use this to sign right now but next time grab one before you come over here.”
But also, I’m sitting in front of you, have some pens there or just reach your lazy arm over and grab a pen for me. 🙄
I hate this place. I have to prepare myself mentally to not be riled up there. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve walked out of their office because the doctor was 1.5 hours late for my appointment.
Good luck.
One doctor I went to said to see him this time then as for a second opinion and go to primary children’s hospital in Salt Lake City. Maybe they will help you out.

This is about the front office!! first of all, these young ladies need to stay off their phones while at work instead of turning around in their chairs, trying to hide their phone and text instead of taking care of the patients that are waiting in line at the desk… I’ve been going to this office for over 5 years!
And it’s been going downhill since.. I had an appointment to see Dr.Uzman I waited 4 months and the day of my appointment they told me Dr.Uzman is no longer with them.. and that I now need a referral from my primary doctor, which is a bunch of bull..They wouldn’t even tell me where he relocated to.. I had to find that out myself.. then In July they scheduled me for A phone appointment with Dr. Dwayne at 7:15 AM.. I never received a call from him so I called back At the message center, and they set me up another appointment for August at 7:15 AM.. When I called them to tell them, the doctor never called the girl said we don’t do phone appointments.. Especially at 7:15 in the morning … then they put you down as a no-show!!!!…when I asked to talk to a supervisor, they would not let me… They want to know what the complaint is about And your name.. And I know for a fact, when you asked to talk to a supervisor, they don’t ask you any questions they connect you to their extension and you leave a message….whoever is in charge of the hiring needs to do a better job not just pick anybody… also, the girls at the front desk act like they’re half asleep.. And they are RUDE!! to everyone.. They probably stay on their phones all night. I’ll never go back to this place…

After the first visit here, I wanted to pray the reviews were wrong. I actually had a great first visit, left with a great impression. The reviews don’t even sum this place up.

I have been trying to fill my daughter’s long acting insulin for 2 months. I can see through CVS that the prescription has been sent to the doctor numerous times, with notes from them that the doctor is unresponsive. Which based on my other experiences, are 1000% true.

Last doctors visit we were there at 9:15, arrived 15 minutes early and we weren’t even seen until 11. They legitimately forgot about us because walking out into the hallway they all looked at us like a deer in the headlights when I asked what’s going on. Doctor rushes in and our visit was summed up in less than 2 minutes and they were out of the school form but it would get emailed to us. This was about a month before school.

Let’s also not forget the form that schools require to treat T1D is a pretty important form. School started on August 11th, 30 days later as of today. 4 phone calls, 2 office visits, and I STILL do not have the form.

Go, literally, to any other doctor in Vegas. This office is a disorganized disaster waiting to happen.

I highly recommend you to avoid this endocrine doctor. They do not take the practice seriously. They are very unorganized and un sensitive towards patient needs. Been waiting two weeks for them to respond regarding my medical matter and every day they say I will call you back and they never do. I hope the right person reads this. Very disappointing.

I was recommended to the DOCS and see Dr. Uzmann about 1 year already. One of the best doctors I had. No problem with him. It’s the front desk that’s the major issue.
One time, I informed them that I no longer had an insurance and that if they accepted my second form of insurance. They just informed me that they did. A few weeks after my appointment, billing contacted me to inform me that my insurance did not go thru. I told the billing department that the front desk never updated my insurance information.
Another visit, they cancelled my appointment because I never called them back to confirm my appointment. Another they didn’t update my change of pharmacy when they ask me to fill out paperwork due to the change.
Last week I was informed that Dr. Uzmann left practice and pretty much told me that I had to reach out to my primary and ask for another Endo. They acted as if they didn’t wanted to keep patients. And after reading reviews I find out that he left this facility months ago and I barely get notified one week prior to a upcoming appointment.

Thank goodness I don’t need and have to visit this facility again and ever.

I have been to The Docs for the past 2-3ish years. My experience so far has been quite awful and it has always made me feel dreadful to head into.

Therapeutic and counseling services referred me to The Docs, as it was the "nearest" to where me and my parents live. I have type 2 diabetes, am (at the time of typing this review down) 18 years of age and lived with uncontrolled diabetes for years due to my parents being heavily neglectful of my health. I cannot drive nor work due to my parents being lazy, my eyesight is bad that I'm afraid I may not be able to drive, and my parents not bothering to even help me throughout high school (Sometimes they'd prioritize work over me. It took YEARS to finally get help despite pleading over and over). As thankful as I am to have services that assist me in managing my glucose and health, The Docs is a place where I'd rather not recommend whatsoever.

My current endocrinologist, Dr. Dewan has been an odd one. His comments are ones that are questionable and leave me slightly uncomfortable. I came in for an appointment one time and I had worn a mesh longsleeve that was inspired by Junji Ito's works. When he came into the room, he had assumed the longsleeve was a "tattoo" and said something along the lines of me being associated with the yakuza. The longsleeve was multicolored and CLEARLY did not match my skin. It was weird, but I awkwardly laughed it off. He would also always ask about my carb/correction ratio despite having it on file and it's always made me feel odd, almost (to me) belittling. Dewan had noticed my outfits being black and mentioned that I should wear different colors like pink when I came in during the summer, which sounds quite odd to me? Dewan has also commented on how I ate a lot of food during a follow up, and when he came to check on my glucose, he then proceeds to ask why I ate just one meal. I can see the concerns of eating too much/too little, especially for patients who have diabetes but this is NOT the way to bring it up. Besides the out-of-pocket comments, I find it RIDICULOUS that this place uses CHATGPT. I do not care on your stances on AI, if you rely on AI as a DOCTOR, then your brain must have shriveled up to a raisin to rely on artificial intelligence that tells you WHAT YOU WANT TO HEAR/SEE/READ and waste your years on getting a damn degree. I may take blame in not caring for my overall health and wellness, but using AI is the lowest of the low. It is scary to see that doctors are relying on something that is not as intelligent as we programmed to be is in the hands of our lives.

I was also not given any more advice on how to lose weight in order to get off of insulin for a bit. I was always told "it depended" or "do heavy exercise" and I understand why I was told as such. However, it would have been helpful to have a head start on what to do SPECIFICALLY instead of being stuck on what to do.

I almost died due to miscommunication between The Docs, pharmacy, and my insurances. My medication for insulin had been switched without mine or my parents' knowledge and it had caused me to starve myself to save up on insulin. We cannot afford much prescriptions, as we can't make any high income. I am grateful that we can make enough to *just* pay bills. What was more unfortunate, was that CVS has kept my medication for almost a month. After several attempts of communication, a case manager MANAGED to get through The Docs the moment I reported this issue to my therapist. What a joke. We are currently attempting to get an excuse letter for possible jury duty, but still have no follow-up on when I will receive the letter. We asked ON THE 4TH OF AUGUST.

Once again, I advise to stay away from this place. Report this place, call them out on their poor health/business practices. If i could give zero stars, I HAPPILY WOULD. I can't believe they've ran this place for years and continue to neglect the needs to their own patients.

Front office staff is absolutely the most unprofessional staff I have ever encountered. Every time I have been in there has been an issue. From appointments not properly scheduled, Appointments canceled with absolute no contact, Lab paperwork not given or sent off. I am absolutely sick of how unprofessional they are. They often sit and gossip while "trying" to schedule appointments. The girl with the long curly hair on 8/20/25 was trying to show her phone to the lady helping me book an appointment ask her to read her text and explain to her what some guy texting her means. I have been this office a hand full of times and this has been regular behavior among them all.

Got an endocrineologist referral here for my son after Dr Assad left the state of Nevada, the incompetence was overwhelming. I had his prior Dr fax over medical records 8 weeks prior to appointment, when I called 7 weeks out office told me documents were not received, records were faxed to this office 6wks out for a second time, when I called to verify 5 wks out still not received. This went on for the full 8 weeks, on the day of our appointment receptionist told me they had none of my son's medical records our previous Dr had faxed them a total of 5 times and this office for some reason had not received any of the faxes. While sitting in the office waiting I had our old Drs office fax the papers over again and miraculously they were finally received using the same fax number as before. We saw an assistant not a Dr no actual patient care was done, no inspection of cgm or needle sites just suggestions to change or current equipment for T1D management. I could go on for a while about all the sketchy things we saw here however let's just say "it is not normal" I reported to the office to my insurance company and changed providers.

The staff was inexperience and flat out rude. I was the first patient there to check in. I even got there early. There was no one there I was the first patient there like I said. People started showing up way after me and I had already filling out my paperwork, I had already paid my copay…I had to ask for them to take my copay and the lady at the desk was so rude when I asked her to take my copay. She stated she didn’t know what my copay was and I told her the other young lady that was there took my insurance and ID. She rudely replied I haven’t checked it. (my bad)! My appointment time came and went, they kept calling people to the back I made mention about it and one of the staff said there was 3 different doctors back there and it was only a few passed my appointment time. I waited and they had called at least 5 people and I was done. If your appointment is at a specific time and 5 minutes pass 10 minutes pass 15 minutes pass, if the doctor is running behind let the patients know. I will not be reschedule returning or recommending if your are not an already and establish patient I’m assuming new patient will be treated in this manner. This is the least caring, most incompetent doctor's office in the city... has to be! Not one person there has any compassion or take any pride in their jobs. Just a few of my experiences: We were referred here from my daughter's pediatrician, who saw some concerning numbers in her bloodwork and said this doctor would do further testing and get her the help she needs. They sent us for bloodwork 2 different times and never included the test her pediatrician was concerned about in the first place! Unbelievable! Or the time that I realized that I had taken off a finger ring brace to wash my hands in the bathroom. Its a medical device but looks cool. I called 5 minutes after we left and asked if someone would go check the bathroom and they flat out said no! They said if someone turns it in, they'll hold it at the front and I can ask at my next appt to see if it showed up, to which OF COURSE it's not there and they had an attitude that I even asked! Or the time where the doctor was done with us and told us to wait in the room for a minute to get the printout for the bloodwork they wanted done and left us in the room for over 20 minutes! When I came out and said something the medical assistant just said oh, grabbed it from the printer and didn't say a word. No apology, no embarrassment or taking any accountability. Also, they collect a co-pay from me before my insurance pays and even their billing department said they shouldn't be charging me anything until after my insurance pays because how would they know how much my insurance covers (I have an awful insurance plan that basically ended up being a savings plan.) They said my co-pay for a follow up visit is $170+, I can't afford that until I get paid in 2 weeks. I called to see if they could call in a two week prescription for the meds my daughter is currently on because I just realized that she only has 2 days left but of course they said no, they have ZERO compassion or care about anyone but themselves! I asked the MA if its dangerous for my daughter to just abruptly stop taking those meds and she said they'll "reach back out", which is HILARIOUS because they are horrible at their jobs! I am gonna find a new Endochronologist for my daughter but I know a lot of them don't take kids for patients so thats why I've even stayed there as long as I have but I'll call every Endo in this city until I find one before taking her back to that absolutely miserable place. My daughter better not have any complications from stopping those meds or we're gonna have a big problem. Save yourself the time and headache..... for the love of god, stay away from this place!

I have never encountered a more unprofessional and disrespectful practice in all my years both as a patient and healthcare worker. The lack of empathy and accountability from the front desk staff would push a saint to swearing.

For the second time we have arrived at the practice for a scheduled follow up appointment only to be told the provider left the practice over a month ago. They had over a month to send any sort of communication that this doctor is no longer working there and instead gave none. We were even in the office a week prior and had to check in for blood work for this appointment and still they said nothing. The only reasoning I can come up with for not saying anything then is so they can collect on the copay and insurance pay out for doing the blood work.

When confronted on why we were not informed the doctor had left there wasn’t even the effort of saying sorry. Just excuses of they have a lot of patients to work through. This practice has a text messaging system and has sent texts in the past for updates on the practice. But most likely because they don’t want to deal with the influx of calls they didn’t use that method of communication. Not that they answer their phones anyway.

They also refuse to give any other providers that we can continue care with because while they still have doctors apparently now none of them treat gender dysphoria. They seem to like to cause crisis as we have to now scramble for a new referral for a new in network provider that can hopefully see us before we run out of medication since we were given zero forewarning on this.

If you value continuity of care or being able to reach your doctors office I would steer clear of the mess of a practice.

Getting through to them or getting any issues solved within a timely manner is almost impossible, as they do a horrible job with communication. I have been trying to make an appointment for the past two months and they continue to not answer, to not call back after speaking to them and leaving multiple voice messages. They screwed up on their system and now can't figure out how to fix this problem so they decide to continue miscommunicating and causing more delays. Six months ago I had scheduled an appointment with them in person. The appointment was for July of 2025 and when I recently called to inform them that I completed my blood work and to confirm my upcoming appointment, they claimed that they seen nothing in their system regarding my appointment. The person that made my appointment six months ago never entered it into their system. On top of that, they told me I had to make a new appointment and claimed that in order to make an appointment, They need my doctor to send them a new referral. Keep in mind that I had already sent them the referral six months ago and it was supposed to be good for an entire year.

I have been left with no medication, can't make an appointment, need my test results on top of additional test being done and they can honestly care less about what happens to their patients or their health concerns. I have been seeing DR.UZMAN for about 5+ years now and I have never experienced this lack of communication and care. This is literally a nightmare. As I look through the reviews, I can see that this is apparently something that they recently started doing, as several others are experiencing some similarities. To make matters worst, they finally called me yesterday to FINALLY confirm that they received the new referral that they supposedly needed. When I tried to make the appointment they told me they couldn't schedule me in because the reason they were also calling was to inform me that my endocrinologist, DR.UZMAN was no longer going to be working in this location. I wasted 3 months of this back and forth with them. Now I'm realizing that they were just stalling me because they knew that DR. UZMAN would no longer be working with them on the date that my original appointment was scheduled. Now I am stuck rushing to look for a new endocrinologist which has not been easy. Like I mentioned before, now I am also left without my medication for a longer period of time, without my test results and without additional test being done. The person that contacted me was also very rude and did not care about my concerns. My health is at risk the longer I wait around due to them wasting my time and now starting from zero. DR.UZMAN and this practice really screwed me over big time. This is causing me a lot of stress and is messing with my anxiety which triggers me to get multiple seizures. They can care less about the consequences to their actions when it comes down to their patients and their health.

The doctor in the facility are good, but this will probably cause me to find a new doctor for her since they have the inability and urgency to handle medicine for a office that deals with extreme illness that are dependent on the medication. I’m really disappointed with the way this doctor’s office is run. Despite multiple attempts to reach out, calls, voicemails, and texts often go unanswered. The staff seems disorganized, and trying to schedule or follow up on anything—appointments, test results, or prescriptions—is incredibly frustrating.

What’s most upsetting is the lack of follow-through. I’ve waited weeks for prescriptions to be sent, and simple questions go unresolved. It can take months just to get an appointment, and once you’re in the system, communication doesn’t improve.

I understand that medical offices get busy, but patients deserve basic respect and reliable care. This kind of neglect adds unnecessary stress during times when people are already vulnerable. I sincerely hope the office takes this feedback seriously and makes real changes to how they support their patients.

I’m very disappointed with the lack of responsiveness and professionalism from this office. Over the past three weeks, I have called multiple times—on three separate occasions—requesting a call back from the office manager. Despite being promised a follow-up, I have yet to receive any response.

In addition to the communication issues, the billing process was mishandled. The office failed to properly submit my claim to insurance, resulting in a denial and leaving me responsible for the full cost out-of-pocket. When I attempted to resolve this, I encountered more delays and unreturned messages.

This experience has been frustrating and has left me feeling that the staff does not prioritize patient care or communication. I cannot in good conscience recommend this practice to others. Professionalism and accountability should be the bare minimum in healthcare, and unfortunately, this office has fallen far short of that standard.

I love the doctor and his immediate staff. Everyone else is awful. They are always very polite and nice, but they know nothing about the importance of getting prior authorizations out or refilling prescriptions.

My most recent experience with prior authorizations: I was told once over the phone it would be done I believe this was April 28th (I called about another prior authorization on April 25th). Nothing. Then I came into the office on April April 29th because I had one more day left on my Omnipod and needed an emergency backup, and was again told it would be handled. Nothing. Thankfully the doctor was able to get me a backup prescription for insulin pens because my pump is what needs the prior authorization—and my CGM. He gave me a spare CGM too.

Today I was told the prior authorization was completed on 4/30, then told it would need to be resubmitted. Insurance hasn't received anything in the last month. I'm dealing with volatile blood sugars and it's negatively impacting my ability to do my job. I almost passed out today because of a crazy sudden hypoglycemia.

The basic staff don’t understand the significance of the stuff they’re dealing with.

My only problem with the place is that standing in line to end the visit and return the clipboard and get my new appointment date and card, I have difficulty in standing and walking, and once the pain in my legs begins, I have to either sit or leave, and leave is what I did with my last visit and never got the appointment date or reminder card, other than that, the place is perfect and I have no complaints other than that...Thank you.

We've been waiting to be seen for over an hour? I think there is a drug rep here taking to our Dr ... we obviously aren't important to them.

Dr Uzmann is very unprofessional!! Seen him 3 times giving him the benefit but brings you in the room waiting no Less than an hr!! Once Dr sees you acts like he's being inconvenienced!! You must be your own advocate or he'll do nothing!! Do yourself right and find a new doctor!!

If you have other options, go somewhere else. My first appointment was okay, the second...dear lord. The first availability Dr. Uzmann had after my initial appointment wasn't for another month. They had called me the day before to confirm the appointment. I show up, a 40 minute drive down 215, to an almost empty waiting room. The receptionist is confused why we're there, and she takes my ID and info before informing us that Uzmann is out with the flu and we have to reschedule. We took the first availability, 4 weeks later, and luckily he was actually there. However, we sat in the office alone for 45 minutes past our scheduled time before the doctor came in. When he finally showed up, he was clearly in a rush and didn't fully answer the questions I had. The appointment was less than 10 minutes, then we had to sit and wait again for an assistant to bring us a very outdated magazine. Horrible service, rushy doctor, I don't feel confident in my care here.

I have seen Dr. Uzzman three times now, and I can confidently say he is hands down the best doctor I’ve ever had. Before seeing him, I was under the care of another endocrinologist and a primary care doctor who both gave me the runaround and never truly tried to get to the bottom of my health issues. From my very first appointment, Dr. Uzzman took a completely different approach. He immediately ran multiple tests to rule out any complications and wasted no time in addressing my concerns.

During my second visit, he went over my test results in detail, explaining everything thoroughly and creating a clear plan for my treatment. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of choosing to stay with my previous endocrinologist, who only sped up my treatment temporarily before returning to her old ways of delaying care. Fast forward a year, I was once again facing roadblocks with my doctors refusing to write prior authorizations for my medication. Frustrated, I called Dr. Uzzman’s office and was able to get an appointment right away.

At my most recent visit, Dr. Uzzman listened patiently as I explained everything that had happened over the past year. He immediately knew what to do and did not hesitate to help. Unlike my previous doctors, who wouldn’t even attempt to submit a prior authorization, Dr. Uzzman was ready to fight for me and my treatment. He assured me that he would do his best to get my medication approved before considering other options.

Dr. Uzzman is truly a doctor who goes above and beyond for his patients. His compassion, expertise, and willingness to advocate for my health have made a world of difference. I am so grateful to have found him and can’t recommend him highly enough. If you’re looking for an endocrinologist who genuinely cares and takes action, Dr. Uzzman is the one to see!

I've had the worst experience with the staff at this location. So rude and never helpful. I get a different answer every time I call and there is never any accountability on their part. Would not recommend this location if you can help it.

Literally everyone here is the worst at their jobs other than the actual doctors, and the girls who take your blood pressure/weight. I've been going there for years, but I only stay for the doctors. I've had to follow up with this practice every time they "send" my pre-authorization prescription to Medtronic. Recently, I've had to hound this doctors office for the past 2 weeks because my filled out prescription was just sitting in their email waiting to be sent over to Medtronic. THE WORST!

They care more about getting you in and out quickly rather than getting a decent analysis of your symptoms. Don't expect proper follow ups or any help getting prior authorizations for prescriptions with the same concern about speed. You definitely have to be your own advocate when dealing with the doctors here. I suggest that you avoid this facility.

Every time my daughter has an appointment, we arrive early enough to check in, thereafter we wait in the waiting room for at least 30 minutes. Once we are brought to the exam room we wait for another at least 30 minutes. The appointment usual takes 5 minutes and it’s rarely with the doctor. I don’t know why they make appointments if they don’t respect the patients time. I have texted in the past and never receive a response……

This is one of the rare times I was treated with respect by the office staff. I currently have a medical condition that normally from start to post surgery takes the most 3 months. The practice I was sent to dragged out the time to trial surgery 9 MONTHS! Also had me believing that the doctor was going to be the one to proceed with the final implant not was not the case. I was sent to another surgeon that could not do the surgery i needed and was sent back to the original doctor. She took 1 minute to tell me “I’m sorry and proceeded to hand me a piece of paper with another surgeon. Mind you every time this happens waiting time gets extended by another month to two months. I went to the next surgeon who doesn’t like the fact to pick up from another surgeon, which I completely understand that Very nice man he told me he had a cancellation and that he would be able to fit me in, which had me excited. I live in chronic pain severe chronic pain to give you a brief synopsis picture you were blind for 22 years and they did a trial surgery that restored your site For only four days then you go back to being blind. That is my situation so to speak next, I had to frantically get all the provided paperwork and approval for the next surgeon, which by all means I had no issues with. Only to get a phone call which a woman had spoke to me that I was not familiar with nor had spoken to previously She said she had not got the approval yet and I assure her she did because I went out of my way with my caregiver to get the necessary paperwork done. Also, the surgeon had already prescribed post surgery medication. Long story short she told me that he would not be able to do it. I was completely devastated. My hopes have been put up only to be crushed. The office girl had just said well you can go back to the other doctor or you can go back to the original where and start all over again how disrespectful what kind of manners what kind of empathy do you young people have today when I went to the docs, I was treated like a human being from beginning and continually I wish to God other office management would practice the same thing. As I post this comment, I still have not yet got the necessary surgery I need Which is now over a year.

This office has declined in the past 2 years, not so much the doctors but the front desk and policies. I wasn't able to get an ultrasound done prior to my appointment, so I called to re-schedule. They told me that since it is less than 24 hours prior to the appointment, I will be charged a cancellation fee. I stated again how I wasn't canceling, but re-scheduling. She said since I am canceling my appointment time to schedule another one, I need to pay a fee. I have been going to multiple doctors offices now (including this one) for a combined 7 years and not once have I been charged a cancellation fee to re-schedule. Some appointments I have even called same day to re-schedule, never have been told I need to pay a fee. Not worth coming back.

Very bad customer service, no follow up. Saw Dr.Uzman, for 2 minutes after an hour wait, ordered labs, no contact for a couple of months, then when asked on line, can’t speak with a person, says have to make an appointment. In other words, no follow up! Very unprofessional, they don’t care, will no longer go there. Bad, bad service!

I'm disappointed with the overall care and follow-up by the office. Dr. Uzmann was professional; however, it seems that his staff is unresponsive to pharmacy requests. The pharmacy requested attention to a couple of prescriptions. I needed a meter, pharmacy sent multiple requests for a corrected order, it took weeks to be done. Another drug required a pre-authorization, it was never filed per my carrier. Lab orders were not sent to my lab, and I wasted time at the draw site.
I mentioned these issues to my primary doctor and thankfully referred me out to another office that has started to get my diabetes under control. I feel there was very little education and support overall.
I didn't feel that the staff followed up on a lot with all the delays compared to a new provider. I believe the back office and staff might give the doctors there a bad image.
