The whole staff was very nice. I was greeted with a friendly smile and a hello when I walked through the door. Dr Hand made me feel comfortable before and during the procedure and my procedure was quick. He listened to my concerns and answered all my questions. Amarie, his assistant, was fantastic! She was very thorough with letting me know what I needed to do to keep my wound clean and free of infection.
PS…they had great snacks and beverages in the waiting area while you waited during your mohs procedure. Sweet!

Dr. Corbett is amazing and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend her. She gets 5 stars. Unfortunately, my experience with her staff at this location has been the complete opposite. During my first appointment, the MA was very rude and scheduled my follow-up without even asking about my availability—just handed me an appointment card and assumed the date and time worked for me. Maybe that works for some of the patients, but that’s not my case. I let it slide after it was corrected and returned for a second appointment which was great.

However, more recently, I received a phone call from the “manager” implying that I had left without paying because maybe I “didn’t stop at checkout,” followed by a semi-aggressive tone asking whether I had received an invoice in the mail. Of course I stopped at checkout—that’s how I received my next appointment, nobody charged me anything so I assumed I was going to receive an invoice later which i haven’t received yet, but thank you for assuming I just ignored it instead of thinking regular mail takes time and that’s why people call it “snail mail.” You have my email and phone number. An email or text message with an invoice link would have sufficed, many practices do that and if you don’t pay they keep messaging you (just FYI). There are much more professional and respectful ways to communicate with patients.

Prior to the surgery, I had some apprehension and was concerned that my affliction was possibly terminal. However, after a detailed explanation provided by the Dermatologist, Dr Hand, I was assured that my condition would be ameliorated following the surgery. The procedure was performed promptly with minor pain.
At the conclusion, I was informed that the cancerous tissues were completely excised.
