I completed testing with Nevada Heart and Vascular Center last year. In December I had a follow up for results of the testing. I arrived but they could not see me for over an hour. I had to leave so I rescheduled to January 2026. When I arrived, I waited 2 hours to be seen and as I waited the front desk person was on the phone attempting to confirm insurance coverage. I had not changed my insurance coverage, the policy number changed but I had not altered anything. Before they saw me they told me they could not confirm coverage and that I would have to pay out of pocket and discuss with my insurance or reschedule. I did not reschedule due to the time wasted to that point in the office. I paid the money noted and received an additional bill via email a week later.

From the moment I arrived until the moment I left I felt like I was being given first class treatment by each and every one of the staff. They not just seem to know what they are doing but they seem to care about how they did it. I was there for a stress test and that went over extremely well for myself. There were four or five other people that were also there for that same reason and each of them had nothing but great things to say about this doctor. Tomorrow I go back for an echocardiogram. So very sad he move, the new office he moved to is a disgrace, I had to deal with this place many years ago, and again just this year, it hasn't changed, this office is and it's "call centers" are run with a careless cooperate staff. I have been seeing Dr. Lambert for over five years and he has performed pre-op release evaluations on me for 3 major surgeries. My last visit was because I had pain behind my left knee. Dr. Lambert quickly set me up for an ultrasound and discovered I had a blood clot. Thankfully, Dr. Lambert put me on meds to dissolve the clot and I was able to change my travel plans and stay safe according to his recommendation.

Don't make an appointment here if you are short on time, or hate having your time wasted! The 1st apt. they told me the wrong day for the appointment, then, we went in to get test results and after an hour and a half AFTER our apt. time we were STILL WAITING and they had NO IDEA how much longer it was going to be, so WE LEFT and did not make another appointment. The waiting room is always so full because they stack patients, and the old people have nowhere to sit! And they are waiting so long most need to see the restroom but are afraid they will be called if they go, and someone will take their seat. And you get no apologies from the staff, who have plenty of time to stand around socializing. They do not value you OR your time!

My husbands appointment time was met after a small delay. The delay was due to Dr. Lambert needing to respond to an emergency in the MountainView catheterization Lab and handing of my husbands appointment to his Nurse Practitioner. A few years ago he treated my my husband for 4 hours when unexpected conditions occurred during a stent installation procedure. Dr. Lambert is committed to helping patients with life threatening conditions and is very interested in his patients health during follow-up visits. Dr Lambert is the best cardiologist ever. He has treated my 91 year old mom for the last 6yrs. He gave her a pacemaker and ordered oxygen which extended her quality of life. She recently broke her leg and he checked on her in hospital when he found out she was there and monitored her until she was discharged without asking. He is smart and cares about his patient. He also cares about me as her caregiver which I appreciate as it’s overwhelming and isolating. He’s in high demand and the office wait is long but staff is excellent and he is worth the wait!!! I haven't seen Dr. Lambert in years because my insurance that changed, but now he takes my current insurance and I'm so happy! Even after so many years, he remembered me. He and his staff are always so kind. I trust Dr. Lambert. Even on days when there is a little bit of a wait because they're busy, I don't mind waiting at all! I know I'm always in good hands there!

I arrived and completed my stress echocardiogram and was on my way after 40 minutes in his office. Dr. Lambert takes time to ensure he has explained his findings and to answer his patients questions. He never displays a sense of urgency so I never feel that he is thinking about his next patient while he is still talking to me. I know some of his patients have commented on excessive waiting times, but having been the recipient of his life-saving action I understand why he might be behind with scheduled appointments. He has been my cardiologist for over 10 years and is the best cardiologist I have ever had in my 17 years of combating my coronary artery disease.

Dr lambert has saved my life a few times now, with a smile and a little humor, which never hurts. His office staff is so pleasant. You have to followup with them when they are doing your paperwork for job or disabilty but that's ok. His line of work has a lot of emergencies so sometimes there's a wait, which if i was in hospital i would want people to understand, i always ask if hes even in office when i see waiting room full, if so i just reschedule if possible.
