I have been a patient of Dr McArthur's for over 5 years and he has been one of the kindest, most knowledgeable podiatrists I have found in the Las Vegas area. He came highly recommended to me by a friend. He does not rush you and takes time to address all your concerns. He also has a very courteous staff who work for him. Exceptional customer service. From the front desk to the treatment room Dr.Troy MacArthur is the best of the best! Many doctors, from the VA hospital could not understand why I was falling. All the time they only had me come in during the Morning When My Gate was okay, Dr. Troy had me come in in the morning And then in the late afternoon. that's when he caught and found out. I had bilateral foot drop as the day. Go on my ankles, get weak and my feet drag i was ordered special prices to lift my foot up. Because I was falling frontwards and backwards after the braces, I no longer fall Also, he teaches you got foot care to the point that my dark nails turned back to their original color.. I had seen Dr. Torgeson early November. My toe was very calloused he diagnosed me with a wound on the bottom of my toe. He clipped away some of the callous and recommended I soak my foot for 20 minutes every other day in a therapeutic foot soak, that I bought two bags from them. I went back two weeks later to see Dr. McArthur because Torgesons schedule was full. He proceeded to cut away a small amount of callous and he recommended I continue the foot bath. I continued to see him for 8 weeks and at that point he said there was nothing else he could do for me. He referred me to the wound clinic. I saw Olga Borozinski, she was wonderful. I went to the clinic and they were appalled that the previous doctors did not do a x ray or anything and the foot bath was not appropriate at all this wound should have been kept dry. I had a MRI done and it showed I had infection all the way to the bone. I was in danger of losing my toe. It was recommended I wear a special shoe that prevents the toe from walked on and use a knee scooter. I was sent to the infectious disease doctor Dr. Lipman office. Upon seeing Dr Josh Howell, he put me on a strict regimen of twice a day of antibiotics through a pic line. I have to go daily 7 days a week to get my infusions. I’m very thankful for Borozinski and Howell without them I would have lost my toe, due to the lack of diagnosis and treatment I received from Torgeson and McArthurI would not recommend these physicians.

It is hard to be on the patient side of the table, but I give accolades on his skills and bedside manner. After years of suffering from extreme pain in my feet, I finally found relief. I have come here for a long time, and I have always had a great experience. I have had annoying, painful ingrown toenails since 2021 and I’ve gone to a few different doctors before I came here My wasting my time and money. My first visit at Nevada foot & Ankle with Troy McArthur, DPM went very well. He is my first ginger doctor (lol) and surprisingly slim .
But, Troy was very polite and my exam was completely through. He answered all my questions and seemed genuinely attentive to my concerns about my right foot .

I don’t need to go to the podiatrist often. They were able to get me in the next day and provide relief the same day as the appointment. Dr. McArthur is pleasant, knowledgeable and provided simple conservative treatment vs more elaborate options. I couldn’t find on their website that he is board certified, so I needed to look up on the actual board website. Need to add that to the website for people who are interested in that kind of vetting.

Front office staff helped me fill out the paperwork on a tablet. I asked for help multiple times. She ALWAYS SMILED! Fantastic first impression.
Dr. Troy McArthur checked all my toes, and the rest of my foot to ascertain if there was indeed a fracture. He decided there was not. I was born with a small extra piece of bone. The pain was coming from the lisfranc ligament which had a sprain
. He explained his deduction clearly, and I followed along
.I was impressed and grateful that he just did not accept the exray techs opinion, but did explain why the tech had formed it, my extra piece of bone. Dr. McArthur of course , was able to physically examine my foot, before aking his diagnosis. Boot, steroid and ice for the swelling.
I was impressed. Intelligent, takes his time, and explains everything.

Dr McArthur went above and beyond on his customer service when I had my foot surgery. I had a little problem getting blood to clot, and shared that information with him via pictures on Friday night the day of my surgery. He made an appointment with me for Saturday morning at his office which was his day off. I thought I would have a Dr on call, but he told me Saturday morning that if he has performed the surgery he wants to do all the follow up care . Has a great sense of humor, listens to what the patient says and explains everything very well.
