Dr. Libby and Dr. Hansen have been my Mother's Ortho providers. They both have great bedside manner and thoroughly explain everything.

Writing this review at Christmas season makes it especially heartfelt, because my experience with my left hip replacement was nothing short of amazing!
Dr. Hansen and his entire team were truly exceptional. His process is thorough and sets the gold standard. From pre-clearance to post-surgical care, every detail was thoughtfully covered.

Dr. Hansen’s skill as an orthopedic surgeon is outstanding, and his oversight of his team is clearly held to the highest standard—resulting in patients being cared for with true excellence.

From the pre-surgery nurses and staff, to Angela in the pre-surgery class, the admissions team, the operating room assistants, and the post-operative nursing staff—every single person was nothing short of amazing.
I am beyond grateful and thankful for Dr. Hansen and his team. They don’t just perform a procedure; they treat you with grace, compassion, and genuine care.

I will be looking elsewhere for a knee surgeon for my husband after a deeply unprofessional experience with Dr. Hansen.

The issues started before we even arrived; the office called to reschedule us at the last minute, which we weren't able to do. Despite arriving 10 minutes early for our original appointment, we waited nearly an hour just to get an X-ray, and then another 30 minutes in the exam room before the doctor appeared.

When Dr. Hansen finally arrived, the communication was non-existent. I could barely get a word in, and when I asked a simple, standard question about the postop care for my husband and how I could help him, Dr.Hansen essentially began yelling at me, eventually telling us that maybe we should just find another doctor just because I was asking questions.

We were looking for expertise and guidance for a major surgery, but instead, we were met with impatience and a complete lack of basic courtesy. If you want a surgeon who respects your time and is willing to answer questions about your health, I suggest going elsewhere.

Dr Romero has been amazing through the whole process he did a partial shoulder replacement for me and has been walking me through the process of healing and getting back to normal I have had a great team of surgeons putting me back together greatly appreciated his part and the process of being so caring.

Dr. Andrea Attenasio was my surgeon at UMC when I fell and broke my hip on the 18th of September. By 6 am the next morning I was in surgery. She was so kind and so knowledgeable. Before surgery she came down and talked with me in order to do the best type of surgery possible for me. I had an anterior replacement. The surgery was a breeze, and the recovery process so easy and relatively pain free. I am very active, walking 3-5 miles a day, and significant travel. I can't say enough good about her bedside manner. Never hurried, takes all the time you need, and is so willing to discuss your concerns and needs She is amazing!

I have a destroyed rotator cuff and Dr Romero is replacing/rebuilding my cuff. Scheduled for surgery on the 4th of May. Can't wait until I can pick up and drink a cup of coffee with my right, dominate hand.

I'm no stranger to having surgical repairs, but let me tell you, Dr. Vera and her team, which includes Belen, one of the MAs, are fantastic. I finally don't have a locking right knee!! I've had 2 previous attempts by different doctors to repair my torn meniscus and both ended with disappointing results and a locking issue that really messed with my quality of life. But I believe wholeheartedly, that Dr. Vera has to be one of the most skilled orthopedic surgeons in the world, she fixed what others couldn't and I am extremely grateful that I no longer have that fear of being trapped by my own knee. I'd recommend her 10/10 to anyone with a mechanical issue in the joint like I did, I have complete confidence in her, and that's something I had lost in surgeons over the years. She knows exactly what she's talking about, and isn't just knowledgeable, but kicks ass at the work she does when you're under the knife too. I pray I don't ever need another repair of any kind, but of I ever did, I'd op for her every time.

2024 was one of the hardest years of my life. I was in constant pain and went to five different doctors, all of whom told me my problem wasn’t my hip — they insisted it was my back. But deep down, I knew it was my hip. Nobody knows my body better than I do.

Dr. Vera was my last hope, and I am so grateful I found her. From the beginning, she listened patiently, showed empathy, and actually heard me. She took my concerns seriously and helped me get to the root of the problem. Thanks to her, I finally got the care I needed.

Went of post opperation follow up. Both times in the last 2 weeks I've waited for over an hour and 30 mins for my scheduled appointment. Sadly I liked Dr bratton but the way this office is run is unacceptable. If I have a 2:20pm appointment I shouldn't be expected to be there still waiting to see him at 4pm. Typing this at 4:07 pm after just leaving the office unseen. Avoid this headache and find a place that won't rob you of your time. There's a reason half the ratings are 1 star.

Complete waste of time. As usual. She does not care, nor do what is needed to fully investigate my pain, images, or even medical records that I have brought her to look at. I have bone spurs, lesions/ tumors, and lots of numbness and weakness. I had to tell her what I had before she rushed me off. She checked, and sure enough she realized I was right.
She did a back xray and told me it looked great… we all know an xray does not show lesions and disc issues. I need an actual MRI to show her.
I’ve had PT for over 10 years. And she’s trying to send me again to avoid my real medical/spine problems. PT only aggravates my osteoarthritis and lesions. She also told me I’m too young to have MS or MM cancer… That’s definitely not true. That’s like telling a baby that they are too young to be born with cancer or have a disability… Medical “professionals” need to keep those terms far away from patients. Especially medically knowledgeable ones. If the signs, symptoms, and blood tests shows what could be. Do the work and test for it. We don’t need your “I think” or “I believe”.
I am in constant pain, 3 doctors said I need surgery. But she’s the nurse who says I need physical therapy and that my spinal canal is okay being at 6mm. Angela is not a Spine Specialist that I would recommend. I have a full body scan really soon and I pray it is not what I believe it is. Because I could have gotten helped way sooner.
Please advocate for yourself. And don’t let a nurse or Dr. just treat you like a number. Your family, friends, and children depend on you. It’s your health. And no one knows how you truly feel. It’s not anxiety. Always get a second or even third opinion.

they've cancelled two appointments on their own at the very last minute without speaking to me directly, an appointment they scheduled themselves as a "follow up" Stating that now a referral was needed. When I specifically remember asking them at my last appointment if I was going to need a referral for this follow-up meeting and they said exact words no. Let's be clear this is the second time this has happened. It is a follow up from the original referred problem. a follow up, so there should be no new referral needed. UMC whole system is strictly a cash cow they're trying to send me back through the loop again ie to see my primary, then go back for another MRI (the 3rd one SMH), finally back to Ortho just to tell me the same thing they told me at my last appointment and schedule a 6-month follow-up. Meanwhile no real help for the 100% tear in my supraspinatus is being done. Terrible healthcare system overall in Clark county. Sad. Makes me understand why other things in this world happen

Dr. Wentz is the absolute best! I've never experienced any issues here, other than the constant construction at their location and the surrounding area. I am always seen in a timely manner with a minimal wait in both the waiting room and exam room. The MA'S and staff are professional, competent and caring. X-rays are done on-site which makes things easier. Dr. Wentz is fantastic, always taking the time to explain everything and not rushing me through the appointment. He seems to genuinely care. Thank you for that.

I was unable to walk without severe pain before surgery. I did stem cells, peptides. and exosome injections and it did not help. Then 2 hrs after surgery I was able to walk with out any pain . This surgery is amazing and Dr Hansen is an amazing surgeon .

I broke my femur in 2 places while on vacation. The great folks at UMC Orthopedic and Spine were willing to take me on after my return to Las Vegas.
