I recently started using umc primary care first appointment with my primary which I had taken off work for was canceled so they rescheduled to today 11/12/24 I get there check in 15 minutes before 10am to see Terence Lou d Agustin MD. I’m no stranger to waiting on Dre. But never in my life have I had a dr start my appointment not just an hr after scheduled but he had the audacity to stop my appointment to go back to a previous appointment that he just ended to start mine. I don’t know if this is normal but I’m sure it is not especially when it’s not life threatening… I wouldn’t trust my life in this man’s hands thank you Dr. Terence Lou d Agustin for proving you are not qualified to be in this field

I've had a great experience with UMC. The staff are always accommodating, friendly, and very helpful. Scheduling an appointment is easy and convenient, which makes the whole process stress-free.

I recently visited with a family member who needed to be seen, and I want to highlight the incredible service we received from Monica R. at the front desk. From the moment we walked in, she was warm, professional, and truly went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly.
She greeted us with such kindness and patience, making us feel at ease during a stressful situation. She helped us check in quickly, explained how to use the electronic system, and kept us informed throughout the visit. It was obvious that she genuinely cares about every patient who walks through those doors.
What stood out most was her attention to detail and empathy. She caught a small insurance issue before it became a problem and handled it efficiently while keeping us calm and comfortable. It’s rare to meet someone who combines professionalism and compassion so effortlessly.
Monica is a true asset to this facility. I’ve visited before and honestly dreaded coming back due to a previous encounter, but Monica completely changed my perspective. Her dedication, positive attitude, and exceptional people skills make her exactly the kind of employee every medical office needs. I can honestly say our experience was outstanding because of her. I WISH I COULD GIVE 0 STARS. In 50 years this is the absolute worst Dr I've ever been to. First appointment waited over 2 hours to see the doctor. No apologies for wait, spent a total of 45 SECONDS with me. 2nd appointment was a zoom call. She left me there another 2 hours, never showed up. I called the office. On hold another 30 minutes. No one came. Called back they were closed. Last and final attempt third visit before I switch primary. Was on time for my appointment. No other patients waiting. They took 4 patients that came after me first. Another hour and a half wait only to be told by her in 30 seconds she couldn't help me even though I told her MA and office manager what I was coming for. Over 7 hours of my time for less than 2 minutes of hers. The entire staff was laughing and carrying on both times I was there. It was more of a social hour than a place of business. The main doctor is retiring so maybe she doesn't care how things are left. But I won't give them 1 more minute of my time. It's such a shame to see how little they listen and how much they could care less about people who are sufferings time. I hope I can save someone else the trouble.

Dr Augustin is the worst Dr I’ve ever seen. This was my first visit, and I gave access to all my medical records to make it easier for him to see I’ve been treated for hypertension and severe airborne allergies since the beginning of the year. Not only did he seem like he had no idea what he was talking about, but he acted like I didn’t have the conditions I am being treated for, even though my
blood panels and EKG and BP history were in my medical records which he did not even look at, but proceeded to act like I didn’t need the treatment I’ve been getting. Now I am no DR and don’t know if there’s any other alternatives to better treat me, but he didn’t even offer them. He told me the allergy shots i’m getting aren’t any good even though they’re the only things helping the sinus pressure I get daily because Zyrtec and oral allergy meds aren’t enough, and how my
blood pressure meds mess with kidney function, so why not do another EkG to see how my heart is? Or check my kidneys if the meds can be damaging? Or offer healthier alternatives to steroid shots to help my allergies? It seemed like he enjoyed telling me I was on the wrong course of treatment and criticize the treatment I got from my former primary, but didn’t give me what he thought would be better treatments? 0/10 would never recommend this place or “Dr” Augustin who was not only rude and condescending about my conditions, but didn’t once look at my medical history or offer any alternatives to the treatments I’m currently getting that he was claiming were wrong and not good for me. He should not be practicing medicine

I went to take my father for geriatric care.

Dr Agustin is extremely patient 🙏🏽 thorough and very knowledgeable.

The staff was welcoming from Monica R at the registration desk to the nurse to the doctor to discharge.

You can tell this office really cares about their patients.

I have been here two times and have had no problems with referrals.

I have been to other Umc offices before Nellis, Aliante, and Centennial...
All I can say is ...

The most organized...
We were in and out ...

I took my dad to see his provider this past Friday, and I was really impressed by the young woman working at the front desk. She was handling everything on her own checking patients in, making appointments, answering phone calls and she did it all with professionalism and ease. I asked her name because she truly deserved recognition. Monica R. was calm, organized, and extremely efficient. It’s not easy to manage all those tasks at once, but she did it with a positive attitude and a smile. Great job, Monica, you’re doing amazing work!

I want to start by saying this review is about Dr. Terence Agustin, MD! He made me feel so uncomfortable due to his unprofessional behavior. His insensitivity and sarcasm towards my concerns for weight loss had me so upset and emotional. He is not a skinny man himself so for him to be so insensitive to my feelings towards trying to lose weight is disappointing and disrespectful. He comes in the patient room short of breath and talking in circles. He had to rethink what he was saying numerous times during our conversation because he was trying to rush through my appointment. Patients should be weary of this doctor because he cannot handle his patient load or concerns patients have due to his lack in time management and lack of integrity. He lied in my chart, under his notes, to make it seem like I was upset I didn’t get what I asked for when in reality I was upset because he was patronizing me about my weight loss options. This doctor should not be practicing and the only reason I made an appointment with him is because my PCP has no appointments until September. Never again will I be so desperate enough to see this so-called doctor!

When my wife and I moved to Las Vegas we struggled with finding the healthcare we were used to since we worked at a top ranked hospital system in Michigan.

After three years we found UMC Priamry Care on Sunset and could not be happier. Of special note the time that Dr, Cordero spends with us at every appointment is especially appreciated. Whenever I have some special needs and the response time I receive from Jefferson and Caroline can not be beat. They both treat me like family and I know they have my best interest at heart.

And to that, that you use EPIC and My chart and we could not be more grateful.

Caroline is the best nurse anyone could have. She is knowledgable and knows what questions to ask to learn more about one’s problem. She has many years of experience as a nurse and this is evident in her professionalism and caring nature. Caroline has excellent interpersonal skills and makes it a point to make her patients feel important. She is an excellent ambassador for this office. I would recommend her to anyone.

This has been one of the most disappointing experiences I've had at a healthcare facility. The front desk staff were courteous and patient, which I appreciated. However, once my mother and I were called back, a male nurse took us to the examination room and immediately said, “We’re going to have to call an ambulance.” There was no introduction or attempt to ease the situation. Given that my mother is an emotional person, hearing such abrupt news caused her significant distress, and she began to worry, getting repeatedly asked why she hadn’t acted sooner. While I’m not a medical professional, it’s clear that approaching the situation in such a blunt and alarming manner was not appropriate. Unfortunately, this nurse’s lack of empathy made an already stressful experience even more difficult. Fortunately, the doctors who later attended to us were kind, professional, and patient, which provided some relief. I hope they take this feedback into consideration and improve their approach when interacting with patients.

The worst experience I have ever had visiting a dr in my life. Dr Cordero is condescending and rude. Instead of being helpful she is caught up on word choices. On my recent visit I had the displeasure of meeting her and will never return. I will ne reaching out to someone above her based off my experience today. I saw 2 providers here and both of them had zero logic. When providers come across something they haven’t seen before they should be taking the opportunity to learn. That didn’t happen here. I got a test done, some values were in the red and almost maxed out on the scale. They first acknowledged it was high and more testing was needed. The tests didn’t go as planned so instead of looking into it and thinking critically, they went all the way back to square one and said the initial tests weren’t that high. They ordered additional tests, told me to drastically change my diet when I already eat better than most, then basically said, well never mind and go have a period. I’m staring at health metrics that are in the red, maxed out, and they are saying it’s not true without any further explanation. Telling me the sky is green when I’m looking right at it and can see it’s blue. Crazy! This was the most outwardly sexist interaction I’ve ever had with providers. They doubled down when I pointed it out. I transferred to a different clinic and sure enough, complete opposite treatment and I’m finally getting it taken care of. I learned more about my condition from AI and my neighbors dog than the doctors here at UMC.

Dr. Cordero is the best. I have been with her for well over 10 years, and will not switch. She gives you all of the time you need and is responsive on the myumc message system. Her staff there is top notch too.

I had an issue with my prescription written by the doctor there (Not the doctors mess up but Walgreens). Caroline, the nurse, was a tremendous help. She went above and beyond to help me get things straightened out. Even wiped my tears. I highly recommend this facility. The staff is A1

I see comments stating that this quick care is slow and the employees here have attitudes. I disagree. I've been going to this quickcare for the last 2 years. It's a clean environment. The employees are well mannered; polite and respectful. I've been when they were darn near full to capacity and the longest I've had to wait was around 45 minutes. Shortest I would say around 15 minutes and that's including the time it took them to check me in. I've been early morning, during the afternoon-evening and later in the evening. I don't expect to go to a care facility and be there for 5 minutes. I know it will be a wait. Furthermore, I didn't come to make friends. I go so I can get my health needs tended to. The nurses and doctors are very polite as well and they listen to you. Thank you UMC Quickcare for a wonderful and caring experience every single time! I mean that so much!! I've even switched my mother's primary care physician to UMC Primary because of the experience I've had.

Dr Eileen Codero-Mauban is my very saving grace. I am eternally grateful for her giving so much of herself in sharing her clinical judgment, educating me with her technical skills, and demonstrating her commitment to practicing medicine at the highest level of excellence. It's no secret that she is truly gifted with an intelligent sense of what is possible and appropriate (of course) with uncompromising attention to detail to make her patients healthy and well cared for! For one, I am fortunate to have a Doctor who is a woman of integrity who cares about me as a patient as well as a person. I know this world smiles at the thought of her work. I know do! But then sends me off gimping away walking on it to go pick up crutches at a store. Take me back to my home state where the healthcare facilities actually care about their patients. This is my second visit and first to actually see my primary care physician. We discussed several concerns that I had in general and overall. All were addressed in a professional manner. We even got in a few laughs during the visit as like wise with nurse. The atmosphere is full of wonderful professionals predicated on providing the care and health knowledge you deserve and seek. There is nothing like explaining your health issues or concerns and someone actually listening to them and providing thorough explanations and not brushing you off.

The reception is good but I'm not a fan of the doctor I've been assigned to by my insurance. The doctor pretty much does the minimum possible and only allows for 20 minutes per patient regardless of circumstances. The doctor is also extremely dismissive and doesn't like it when I try to tell him about a symptom he hasn't asked for.

Accused me of being a hypochondriac on my first visit (I just got new insurance, so I've been forced to this doctor's office since it's an HMO plan) even though I have a well documented but poorly controlled chronic health condition diagnosed 8 years ago..

I was there because I had an appointment with Dr. Augustin for my chest and questions about my hand xrays. I actually solved the hands problem myself to test and I got meds for my chest but in the meantime I was tested for covid, my request and had no systems but ended up being postive. The Dr was only concerned for himself and made me feel ashamed and embarrassed when my husband is an icu nurse here working 48-50 hrs a week with 3 covid patients at a time helping his fellow neighbors and perhaps patients friends and family on assignment endangering himself and his family when he's dedicated and educated to help in this field and I would think this dr would feel the same but apparently not. Now I know how HIV patients felt when that happened!

UMC primary Care on sunset Dr Cordero was my physician long story short I felt I got really poor care from this facility withheld my maintenance drugs trying to get me to come in made me call every time I wanted to refill on my blood pressure pills. Had coved February 2020 turned to pneumonia tried to make an appointment they told me to go to quick Care. If you really need a doctor this is not the place to go .

I've been looking for a Primary Care doctor for a couple years. Dr Karen Kim is wonderful. She was thorough and addressed all my concerns and issues, she went way beyond what I expected. My nurse Nancy was friendly, fast and super helpful giving me extra information I was looking for. Laurie in registration was super friendly, thorough and ensured my privacy was protected and quickly checked in.

It took a couple months to get in for an appointment but it was well worth the wait to finally get primary care setup.
