I had such a great experience at Urgent Vet! The staff got me in so quickly and took such great care of my cat! My normal vet I go to was closed since it was past 1 pm on a Saturday and was nervous about taking my cat to a new vet but they were awesome!! They were so sweet and caring, they were able to get her the proper treatment and made sure her swelling went down before we left. The vet assistant and veterinarian were amazing, I felt like my cat was it great hands! Thank you so much!

We had to rush our new edition puppy into the vet and we were so blessed to find Urgent Vet on Stephanie. Our puppy has like permanent Zumiez so he is always running into something or just being all over the place and he started to cry because he hurt his paw he wouldn't walk on it and he just kept crying. We rushed him in and on the way they were on the phone with us and they did our intake information over the phone before we got there. Ms Crosby is wonderful and calm and loving and Dr.Hazard did such a wonderful job taking care of our Loki. The intake nurse was very nice and helpful but I didn't get her name. Thank you as well. Very compassionate staff. Our cat was having trouble breathing, and the doctor discovered that it was lung cancer based on an x-ray. She didn't try to push expensive treatments, extra testing, or anything that would make the center more revenue. She simply offered her deepest, sincere, condolences and recommended having him euthanized as soon as we were able say our goodbyes. Thank you to the staff and Dr. H for easing our pain in such a difficult time.

I was really concerned over the past few days that my sister’s dog, Emi (who I’ve been caring for the past few months), might have a UTI. She’s had one before, so I was especially worried. The night I called, I was able to bring her in within 15 minutes!

The staff was incredibly friendly and kind, listening to all of my concerns. They were upfront about the different treatment options and pricing before I decided what to do, which I really appreciated. Once I made my decision, they worked as quickly as possible to get everything done.

I also loved that they provided a hard copy of Emi’s lab results and were so open to discussing my concerns about the prescribed medication when it wasn’t in stock at my pharmacy.

I was pleasantly surprised! I easily made a "hold my spot" reservation for end of life care for my sweet girl Nellie. Once we arrived we were greeted at the door by a very kind staff member, she checked is in and promptly explained what to expect and took us to the room at the end of the hall which is set up specifically for end of life for your pet. It was comfortable and peaceful, dim lights, a dog bed, the sound of trickling water, tissues and snacks for your pet were available, they also brought us bottles of water. The vet tech was excellentat explaining everything, she soft spoken and really helped put our minds at ease, they gave us as much time as we needed to process and say goodbye to Nellie. I have been thru this several times and they really do offer a great service. I recommend this facility 100% and give them all the stars 🌟. My 7 year old husky was not acting normally this morning - not playful, breathing heavily, cool ears, mouth and pale tongue. We called our usual vet (Enterprise animal hospital) to discuss and they recommended urgent care - we asked which one and they said UrgentVet.

We called once they opened and they registered her over the phone. We were seen and disgnosed expeditiously by Dr. Hazzard and her team. My dog had a life-threatening condition (pericardial effusion with cardiac tamponade). A bolus was given, they contacted the emergency vet, and sent us to get emergency care at the VECC. We were allowed to sit with our dog while getting the bolus. I am grateful for their quick diagnosis, kind care and compassion.

I couldn’t get an appointment with our regular vet or the urgent care vet in my home town just before leaving for Henderson, NV. My dog definitely had an eye issue brewing that would need some treatment for and we were leaving for a 10 day trip. Once I arrived in Henderson, I looked up urgent care facilities and found this one. They were fantastic! The whole process was done from scheduling to being seen and out the door in about an hour! My dog is already much much better. They even called to check on her the next day. Highly recommend and wish they would open one of these in Reno!

Coming here was a great choice. They are patient, kind, honest and fair. My Chihuahua was terrified when we arrived. She left happy, calm, and full of treats! I was able to get my dog in right as they opened, after he had been extremely lethargic all day. My regular vet was unable to see us for a same day visit and recommended UrgentVet. The doctor and vet tech were so nice and treated us with utmost respect and professionalism. The doctor explained each test and treatment recommended and really made sure I understood and I was given an estimate beforehand so I would know approximately how much I would pay for each item. My 14 year old cat has been a Gem of an animal and has only been to the vet when his shots were given. I was in a panic as I came home from vacation only to find Tito in distress. I was shocked to find this vet was open, caring, compassionate, clean and quiet. We were escorted into a private room and after 3 hours the blood work and urine and perscriptions and prognosis was given and I was sad but comfortable with their findings and honesty. Highly recommend this Vet.

Jackie was super sweet and helpful! I had issues at another vet, called them and was told I could come and be seen soon. They said they could see me almost immediately but there might be a small wait. Showed up and got escorted to a room before the front door was fully closed! They brought up potential issues to me aside from her wound that other vets had not mentioned before, made sure she was comfortable and hydrated, and let me know the cost without having to ask. The entire visit took a bit, but I was pleasantly surprised with the customer service and patient care. I will definitely go here if I ever need to again.

Our pup got sick after hours and Kathy was amazing! We were greeted immediately and escorted to a private room. We were able to get a treatment plan and rule out any blockage. I cannot say enough kind things about the care we received here last night. From the moment I called to the moment we left, every single person we encountered was genuinely kind, compassionate, and attentive—to both my dog, Pancho, and to me.

I especially want to thank Taylor, the vet tech who took such loving care of Pancho. She spoke to him so sweetly, cuddled him, told him how handsome he was, and truly made him feel happy and safe. He absolutely thrived on that affection. She was also not afraid to roll up her sleeves and do whatever was needed to care for him, and that level of dedication meant so much to me as a worried pet parent.

Dr. Mike was equally wonderful—friendly, calm, and kind. He took the time to explain everything clearly, walked me through each step of what was being done, and made sure I felt informed and reassured throughout the visit.

What stood out most was that every staff member genuinely seemed to love animals and want to be there. Even though the clinic was very busy and we wrapped up close to closing time, no one ever made me feel rushed or like they were eager to get out the door. Instead, I felt supported, respected, and confident that my dog was in excellent hands.

In a stressful moment, their warmth, professionalism, and true care made all the difference. I am incredibly grateful and would highly recommend this clinic to anyone needing urgent veterinary care.

My dog got sick and as it goes it’s not during regular vet hours. He got worse so I had to get him help. I found UrgentVet. They were amazing. So grateful to the staff here for helping my kitty feel better from a UTI! I called ahead about an hour before closing to let them know I was concerned about my cat not eating for almost two days, and they advised me to bring her in. Everyone was very kind. The vet and tech were gentle with my cat and thorough with the examination. Tests were done and results brought back quickly, and the vet sat down and went over all the results with us (even the results that were in normal ranges) line by line. They explained pricing clearly, removing a test they weren’t able to perform so we weren’t charged for it. After all was said and done, they made sure to send the visit docs to my normal vet without me even asking!Would absolutely bring my pets back here again if they need urgent care in the future!

My regular vet clinic was so busy that they couldn't see my little puppy today so I made a "hold my spot" reservation about 30 minutes before my arrival time. My kitty swallowed some plastic and became sick. I decided to take her to Urgent Vet as it was after hours and my vet was closed. I rushed her there, and was treated immediately with compassion and understanding. The facility is bright and clean. The exam rooms are well lit, have soothing pheromone plugins to help with critter anxiety, music piped in, and white noise to also help with anxiety.

The vet and vet techs took the time to listen to me and treated my cat with such gentleness and care. I want to thank them for their attentiveness and kindness. They helped my kitty get better.

Went in because my husky chewed an avocado pit. The vet did not charge me because they saw the picture of the pit and said they did not need to see her because she would be fine. The vet did not unnecessarily give her an exam and did not unnecessarily charge me for the emergency visit. That folks is what we call ethical. I’m very grateful for this. Professional, polite, compassionate, caring and knowledgeable is just a few words I would use to describe Urgent Vet staff. They went beyond the call of duty to ensure our dog Bear was comfortable and not in fear. They sat on the floor with Bear, spoke gently to him and feed him cheese!!
Next thing you know he had sleepy eyes, totally relaxed. Bear has a preexisting condition which they taught me a few tips on how to care/help Bear even more. Bears vet at home never mentioned any of this major information which upset me.
I was so happy with the visit I was wishing we had them as our regular Vet to care for Bear.

We had a great experience at this urgent care yesterday. Our puppy, Hachi, had an eye issue and they were able to get us in very quickly. She was seen by the vet within 15 minutes of arrival, which we really appreciated.

The vet and staff at UrgentVet were SO incredibly kind and helpful. My mom and I brought my sweet cat, CheeChee, in at late hours for an emergency, and they quickly got us into a clean and peaceful room. They offered her a Churu tube and were super gentle and patient when examining her. Dr. Hazzard was able to do an X-Ray and perform some bloodwork within an hour and inform us on her condition.
While CheeChee is now happily playing in Heaven, UrgentVet sent loving cards with her nose print and paw print. I will forever be grateful for the kindness and care my CheeChee and our family received from UrgentVet's vets and staff. Thank you so much!

I am so thankful for Dr. Adams and staff at UrgentVet. I actually saw their booth at the Southern Nevada Beagle Rescue, and took note of the location. I thought my dog was having a seizure so I rushed him in. We were promptly greeted by a vet tech, who got us in right away. He was seen by the vet, Dr. Adams immediately. What was most impressive is that he quickly and accurately gave a diagnosis, without even knowing any of my dog’s history. Once I started explaining the history, and all of his medical issues, he gave a detailed plan going forward. Even though he had just met my dog, I felt like he had been our veterinarian for years. I was so impressed with the parking, the facility, the kindness and knowledge of the entire staff, and the care we received. The thing that stood out the most for me was when Dr. Adams originally walked into the room, he could see that I was very upset and he immediately told me that my dog was not in critical condition. I was beyond panicked, because I honestly thought my dog was dying. He immediately reassured me before saying anything else. I was so frantic that I did not remember the vet tech’s name, but she was absolutely amazing as well, very knowledgeable and extremely caring.
Finally, UrgentVet is extremely affordable, especially compared to a similar clinic. The bill was 1/10 of what I was expecting.
I would highly recommend taking your pets to UrgentVet in Henderson, tell your friends!

My wife and I were a bit nervous going in, due to our little girl (Baylee) being ill. We were greated by the Vet Tech Taylor who welcomed us into the private examination room. Taylor was very friendly and professional. Taylor compiled all information and history needed along with the symptoms and informed the doctor. Doctor Adams came in shortly after and began his exam. Dr. Adams then explained what treatment he could provide and believed could resolve Baylee's illness. Everything was explained in detail and broken down in stages of treatment that may need to be done. Our minds were put at ease and we left with no doubts or concerns. I was camping and I arrived with my precious Bella on Sunday, May 4, 2025. She had collapse and I was an hour and a half away from Las Vegas and I got a hold of this emergency vet hospital. It was really hard to get a hold of anyone since it was a Sunday. They told me where they were located and I came in with Bella very limp. They immediately took her and tried to do chest compressions on her and trying to bring her back to life, but it was too late. My Bella died good doctor and the nurse showed such compassion towards me Which I appreciate it so much because this was so much more than dog to me. This was my baby. I highly recommend and although it’s been just a week I know that they tried their best to save my Bella. Thank you again so much for your staff being so compassionate.

I took my cat in as his hind legs suddenly became paralyzed. They took him in and immediately diagnosed him. Unfortunately the best option was to put him down as he was in severe pain. Thank goodness for UrgentVet! My 15yo chihuahua tried to do a puppy maneuver on her steps up onto the bed and ended up tearing a nail. We wrapped up her foot and headed to our vet only to realize they had just closed 5 minutes prior. I remembered seeing the UrgentVet sign in passing and we headed over there instead. I’m so glad we did! We were greeted immediately by Jessi who quickly assessed the situation and got us signed in. She lead us back to a room where Dr. Hazzard saw us in a matter of a few minutes. Aside from having the coolest name for an emergency veterinarian, Dr. Hazzard was gentle and caring. She got our senior girl fixed up in no time. The price for emergency services was not insane like the ER Vet Hospital and this place was immaculately clean. Both Jessi and Dr. Hazzard were amazing with my little old girl. She’s healed up nicely with no complications. I’ll sleep better now knowing that this facility is just a few short minutes from home if needed.

Called prior to even leaving my house and explained my dog’s symptoms. She has suddenly began walking in circles and falling when she walked. I was told that I could bring her in for treatment. When I brought her in we met a lovely tech (her name on our receipt was Taylor) who was an angel the whole time. When the doctor came in (listed in the receipt as Dr. Haggard) I was told that she could not be treated and that she needed to go elsewhere for treatment. While this conversation was occurring my dog began to scream and drool excessively. The doctor did not even look at my dog when that began and just kept reiterating that we needed to go to a different clinic. We were given a few suggestions as to what could be causing the symptoms however were never given any information about possible recovery time or even if the possible diagnosis could be recovered from. In the end I made the decision (with the quality of my pets life in mind) to euthanize my dog. Through the entire 30 minutes that I was at this clinic I felt that the doctor was trying to get us out the door and it felt as if we were not truly being cared for. The tech, Taylor however went above and beyond to ensure that we felt as comfortable as possible while going through the euthanasia process, she even offered to sit with me while my pup passed which was greatly appreciated. I understand that it was the last couple hours before the clinic closed however that should not mean that I should be treated any different during such a scary moment. I hope that no one else has to experience the treatment that I received as it was unacceptable.

Excellent care from the Henderson, NV staff. Took my kitty Gemma in as she was throwing up and could not keep her food down. The second we walked in, they greeted us and took us to a cat only room. It was very clean and relaxing with sounds of birds chirping. The room had my kitty very relaxed unlike other rooms, she didn't even hide like she usually would. Both the vet tech and Dr Boltz were exceptionally caring and well knowledge. I would highly recommend this vet.

I had to drive from Bullhead City, AZ for my dog, Chief, to be treated at 7pm. It was easy to get an appointment online before I arrived. Taylor met us at the door in less than 1 min, got him all checked in and then Chief met Dr. Hazard. Dr. Hazard examined him throughly and came up with a plan. Taylor then reviewed the treatment plan and was extremely understanding of finances. When you have animals and there is an emergency there will always be financial concern, but they understood that and there was no pressure. Everything was explained thoroughly and Chief was treated immediately. Th amount of compassion they both had was amazing. Thank you! They took time to connect with Chief so he would have their trust. UrgentVet was amazing with my fur baby. My 3yr old 7lb Chihuahua Jewel woke up with swelling on the left side of her face. We had no idea what happened but she wouldn't let us look at it. We quickly found urgentvet on line and we easily made an appt. As soon as we arrived we were immediately greeted by Taylor who was very efficient at checking us in, placing us in an exam room and most of all, putting us at ease by showing excellent care for our baby Jewel. The wait was reasonable and Dr. Moens was amazing. She was friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. She was so gentle with Jewel! Everyone we interacted with was friendly and empathetic towards our concerns for our fur baby. They were transparent with care options and pricing upfront. Had to take our suddenly sick Golden in at 9:30 p.m. They saw him right away, took blood and did an x-ray. They were able to give us the unfortunate bad news, which was confirmed by our vet at 8 a.m. the next morning. Prices weren’t terrible considering it was after hours and no wait time. The staff was wonderful and called to check on him the next day.

Great service! Traveled from Lake Havasu City for urgent care for my cat. Personnel were kind, professional, and thorough. They even met us at the door upon arrival! Received a follow-up call the next day, asking how Kitty Kitty was doing. She had been started on antibiotics for a UTI and within 1 day was feeling so much better! I took my pup Flo in to Urgent Ver because she had been vomiting and having diarrhea and with this being the first time dealing with this I was nervous. Everyone was so kind and understanding with my concerns. They listened to me and helped come up with a plan. I would 100 percent recommend this place if ever needed for your pet. Outstanding. On a Sunday afternoon my cat started projectile yacking. Lethargic. Sigh.

From the first phone call, it was a great experience. Thais, the Vet assistant was fantastic, great attitude, helpful.

Dr Cooper was absolutely top tier. Complete physical check up. Discussed options. No pressure, great advice. Some fluids. Anti nausea shot. Watch him for 12-18 hours.

A follow up call 12 hours later! Yep, he was better. Another 24 hours and he’s back to his annoying self.

I cannot speak highly enough of Dr. Adams and the team of vet techs at UrgentVet in Henderson. Our 10 year old blind beagle twisted awkwardly in the car and began to spasm, clearly in a massive amount of pain. We raced over there and were seen immediately. The team was so kind and thorough. Accurately diagnosing and treating him to get his pain level down and more calm. Dr. Adams took an inordinate amount of time to sit with us and review his medical history, x-rays, and medications to ensure that the diagnosis was precise and would not negatively interact with all of his other medications. We have seen a ton of different vets over the years for our sweet blind dog, but this team really rose to the occasion not just for our beagle but for us too. Thank you so very much! Take your pets here for great, accurate, and immediate care!! Let's keep this office open.

On Saturday, Our 15 year old dachshund was experiencing a very bloated stomach, was trying to vomit, and was very listless. Our normal vet was not open , so we went to UrgentVet. They took us right away. Diagnosed the problem. Treated her with some fluids, pain medicine and prescribed a bland diet for a few days. They were helpful and pleasant through the entire experience. I would definitely recommend them

Terrible experience — I do not recommend this clinic

I do not recommend this clinic. This was an extremely disappointing experience. I felt that the focus was more on selling services and products than on actually taking care of my dog.

I brought my dog in because she has not been eating for several days and is very weak. The veterinarian performed a physical examination and identified other issues: her eye was inflamed and her ear was also inflamed. However, she refused to prescribe any medication for these problems, saying that urgent care was only meant to treat the immediate emergency and that I would need to see another veterinarian for everything else — even though I was already there for a consultation and was paying for the visit.

My dog also appeared to be in pain. The veterinarian herself acknowledged that my dog could be experiencing pain, but when I asked for something to help with her discomfort, she refused and said that my dog was not in pain and that pain was not the issue. I found this very contradictory and frustrating.

I also asked for guidance or a prescription for an appropriate veterinary diet, such as Royal Canin, because my dog has not been eating and needs something she can tolerate and eat. Again, I was not given a solution.

The wait was also terrible. I spent approximately two hours at the clinic. Several times, the veterinarian or staff member would leave the room and take around 30 minutes to come back. This was extremely frustrating, especially when I was already very worried about my dog’s condition.

Overall, I felt the treatment was cold, dismissive, and lacking compassion. I came there because my dog was sick and needed help, but I left feeling that her needs were not properly addressed.

On top of everything, the services and products they recommended were significantly more expensive than other emergency veterinary options I found.

I would not recommend this clinic and I will definitely not be returning.

Another Vet office just wanting money from people that are vulnerable with their animals health! I'm so sick of this crap... This vet actually came into the room with a mask on, and then suggested that we pay up to a $1000 to have our dog sedated so that she could check his ears rather than take her mask off and maybe actually not scare the s*** out of my dog!!!!! Unbelievable! First, it was a possible skin bacteria that he needed $78 in antibiotics for and then she offered an allergy shot for $239! We took our dog's temperature because the tech wasn't able to do it. We got our dog onto the scale because the tech wasn't able to do it. And then the vet wasn't able to do anything but feed my dog a bunch of peanut butter and treats.... for $139..... Never, ever ever again will I take a dog here or recommend this place!!!! This is not veterinarian care, it is purely wanting people's money and doing very little to get it.

I didn't want to take my baby to MY usual vet (long story). It was becoming late & every place was closing & I was searching for "affordable" vets. I actually went to Tropicana Animal Hospital first. Estimated wait time was 64 mins. At last look, I waited over 107 mins & was 9th to be called. So I started looking for someplace else.Came across UrgentVet! Night & Day! I was able to check in online. We were put in a room immediately. The place looked people hospital standard clean.The music was soothing. They were courteous, & kind, with me & my fur baby.
So price does make a difference to me. While the other plc consultation fee was $71, UrgentVet was $129. I paid $303 for infected anal glands, & medication. In saying that, I do not feel taken advantage of. I do not feel they did unnecessary things to up the price.
It was the best experience, & would recommend to anyone!

They were fast, efficient and friendly. Erin is a vet tech (I believe) there who we’ve known for many years and is a genuine comfort when the pet owners (like us) are a bit nervous about our fur babies.

Best part is their hours of operation with Mondays through Fridays open until 11pm. If your regular vet is closed and you need to get your pet checked, this is a great backup option.
