I was treated here for a work injury on an active workers’ compensation claim. I followed the process, including utilization review authorization.
Afterward, the clinic billed me personally and filed a collection case against me in Las Vegas Justice Court when the workers’ comp carrier had not paid (or had delayed/denied a bill). The claims administrator told them to stop billing me and file a lien on the claim.
If you are treating a work injury anywhere—including here—know the rules before you go. In California, Labor Code § 3751(b) says that once you have filed a claim form, a provider who knows the claim is pending generally cannot collect from you for that injury unless they have written notice that liability was denied and they gave you a copy of that denial. A provider who violates that can be liable for three times what they unlawfully collected, plus fees and costs. Authorized industrial care is supposed to be billed to the carrier, not chased as your personal debt.
Those protections are real. They are not the same thing as “a lawsuit can never be filed.” A clinic can still send you to collections. That does not make you the correct debtor. Keep your claim number, UR approvals, and every letter from the adjuster. Tell the clinic in writing to bill workers’ comp only. If they sue you anyway, put those documents in front of the court.
My experience: following the workers’ comp rules did not stop a personal collection case when the carrier was slow. It did give me a clear paper trail that I am not the payor. Other injured workers should know that before they treat here or anywhere on a WC claim.

I have gone To a lot of doctors since my accident in 1983. DR Dumler is a sports doctor. He has traction. He LISTENS to your body. He is in the same room with you when he is helping you. That is a deep statement and you have to feel that to understand that. You have to understand that because he really is there to help you while you were in his room with him. His staff is amazing. I felt stuck In my painful body for a very long time, and I just dealt with it because it was Dealt to me. When you have been feeling pain for as long as I have you start To accept it as being normal and believe me, it should not be normal. No one should be forced to be in pain.
I haven’t had my mid back adjusted correctly in the last Couple of years and he adjusted it on the first visit. I came from an office where my chiropractor Changed every couple of years and I hated that.
I had to keep training the new chiropractor on my injuries and believe me that is STRESSFUL. I am an unusual case. I should not have lived past two years past my accident in 1983 and I am a survivor because I have lived 44 years past my case and I am grateful to God. Dr Denny has taught me a few exercises that will help me gain strength in the areas where I am hurt real bad and I think that’s very important. She uses oils too. I never got dizzy before after a massage. She found a way from me to understand and see what I’m going through versus being blind to it. Thank you dr and Melissa and Janet. I called September 22nd @ 5pm and spoke with a woman of whom I did not get a name. She claimed she had no record of my referral. I was referred to you by a physician only because the Nevada medical system supposedly requires it, so broken. People have to jump through so many hoops and pay so many people just to get medical attention. I spoke with your facility July 8th and got all the details from your nice receptionist, she must have been a different woman from the one I spoke to Sep 22nd. When I called again on the 22nd to schedule after a busy month, I was told the person I spoke with must not work there anymore. I was told they have no record of my referral. I was asked if I was sure I was calling the correct place. My call logs and notes tell me I was, perhaps your facility should work on saving notes and call records. They told me I'd need a new referral. No thanks, I'm not going through all that time and money again.

This place is pretty much a waste of time. It makes me wonder if all these good reviews came from the promotion they have which is leave a good review and you’ll get a free 1hr massage. I went there for 3 sessions for a lower back pain and sciatica. The only thing that helped were the massages given by Roland. I wish I was able to get more than a 10min massage and he deserves 5 stars. On my 3rd session I was asked to get an MRI which I did on Friday. Next week on Wednesday no one had contacted me so I called the imaging center who confirmed that my results were already sent on Monday. I called here and asked why I wasn’t contacted yet, the woman on the phone asked about my info and said the dr will check the results and they’ll call me back on the same day. Today is Thursday and I still haven’t been contacted yet. They dropped the ball. Gladly I have a friend who is a radiologist. I sent him my results and he confirmed that I have 2 bulging discs. He gave me a treatment and asked me to see a physiotherapist not a chiropractor. When someone tells you they’re in pain, you need to follow up with them and show some interest, this is not what I experienced here.

Complete waste of time..and a lot of it! I understand new patients require a longer visit, but waiting an hour and fifteen minutes to see the one and only doctor on the 2nd visit is unacceptable. My time is also valuable. Especially when I'm paying for an appointment at a certain time. I wasn't impressed with the first visit..Especially when the doctor says " I like to take my time" . I'm in extreme pain and need adjustment now! He xrays my lower back then shows me the xray. He points to a white, totally foggy spot and says here's the problem and starts to explain something but never finished..like he forgot what he was talking about. He then pops my back in the only place that didn't hurt. My problem area's are 3rd vertebrae in my neck and my extreme lower back. Unacceptable..I didn't pick this place, I was referred. The have major issue with time management. I filled out my forms ahead of time and provided the office with everything they asked for so I don't have to spend time in the waiting room ... and after all of that I was waiting for at least 45 minutes with many people sitting there before me. I waited almost an hour, but after I was called in my experience was thorough, professional, and (most importantly) EFFECTIVE. I saw a chiro a few days before my appointment at a different establishment and he made my situation worse with absolutely no care and only recommended I come back weekly for a month and to "get an x ray somewhere else." Here you really get the feeling that their goal is to treat you so you have to come back as infrequently as possible. Total opposite experiences. I got great service, doc fixed my back & i got a massage and the tens like electrode massage too. My Mom came in with me and she needed a spine alignment as well as some work on her foot. She didn't get the tens electrode massage, they barely touched her shoulders, she didn't get a spinal alignment at all, and the doc barely touched her foot and said it's fine. She left there in pain. How can I go there again, if my Mom isn't taken care of in the first place and gets poorer care than what I received? I was really hoping Dr. Dumler was going to be my "go-to" Chiropracter. So disappointing. But, he must be making a lot of people really happy though, patients were double stacked in the lobby waiting to get to see him. I imagine Valley Spine wont miss me or my little mom.

Today was only my second visit, but this is for sure going to become a routine for me. Dr. Dumler is very professional and just radiates knowledge and positivity, somehow remembering me after only one visit (with a month since that last visit) as to my reason for being there. That's impressive. Not to mention the adjustments are very crisp and satisfying, he knows what he's doing. Also, massage therapist Sarah absolutely destroyed me today, in a very good way...my usually very tight hammies and low back were feeling creamy and relaxed after just 20 minutes. The clerical/desk staff is also very professional and patient. I highly recommend this place. Thanks yall!

I have always wanted to see a chiropractor! I have been in the dental field for almost 9 years now. I was concerned with the damage I have done to my neck/back/shoulders. I finally got a referral from my general doctor so I could bill my visits through my insurance. (TIP check with your insurance first to see if this applies to you). My first call was super easy. I usually have a hard time scheduling appointments to doctor office because i work the same schedule as most places. I was able to find an appointment that wasn't too far ahead.
Utterly excited I came to my appointment. As soon as walking in I was greeted by the staff and asked to check in. They have complimentary water in the waiting room. While waiting for the doctor I could hear the staff pleasantly interacting with patients who were currently being treated. They did rotate the patients within a timely manner that I was able to predict when my turn was coming.
While waiting for Dr. Dumler in his office you can see his personality on the walls. He has photos with patients,soccer trophies and sponsorships he has participated in. He introduced himself and addressed my reason for being there. He responded with types of issues found in my line of work. We went into a different room and took multiple xrays. We went back to he showed me the xrays and what he was looking for and what that meant. That was very thoughtful because I was super curious because I thought I was broken all over haha. He asked me if this is my first ever experience with the chiropractor and I told him it was. He let me know what to expect for the remainder of my visit and he instructed to the assistant which massage therapist I should see. I felt like my specific needs were taken into consideration and with that he was able to choose the best therapist for me.
I was place in another room and the assistant placed pads on my middle back. She explained what was going to happen and how long I was going to be there for. Before she left me alone they made sure I was okay and if I needed anything they were a holler away.
Sarah the massage therapist put in work on my back. She was great at conversations and even recommended a good place to eat. It was time for my adjustment and I was feeling nervous because I knew he was going to have to be in my personal space. Dr. Dumler informed me what he was doing. The whole time he made great conversation so I could feel more comfortable during the adjustment process. By the time I left I could tell the difference in even the way I was walking. I have been back two more times and have enjoyed each visit just the same.

One of the worst customer services ever. Rude staff.. Waited for 40 mins although I have scheduled the appointment. Then They tried to scam me to pay twice for the service that I already paid for. There are enough good chiropractors to waste time on these guys. Avoid at all cost.

I knew of Denny through others whereby him and his staff lived up to reputation. Son on mend with bad ankle sprain. Immediate xrays, stim machine, and massage...well done.

He takes your problem areas, body tensions and aches head on and addresses what needs to change in the gym or on a daily routine to strengthen or release the soreness in your body. Very long wait time & the receptionist wasn't very friendly or welcoming at all. We ended up waiting almost an hour past the scheduled appointment time without any explanation. The adjustments & massage seemed to help, however we were there nearly 2.5 hours.

Horrible Experience!! The staff (Carole) was rude and cold. I went for a 90 massage and she provided just over an hour. I addressed the issue and was indifferent and told me a 90 minute massage isn't REALLY 90 minutes.

I called to address my concerns with Dr. Dumler. He seemed friendly enough after hearing my concerns. He told me he would call me back after he spoke with Carole.
I AM STILL WAITING!!!

Apparently rudeness is an expectable practice.

The customer service was poor, the massage was "ok"." I went to relax and I had back pain. I was angry when I left and minimal back pain relief.

I would NEVER go back as I told Carole, whom with a shrug said "ok"

I've had to visit Dr. Dumler and his team twice since summer, and their treatments had me feeling better and smiling before I was out the door! Dr. Dumler is a caring and thoughtful doctor who runs an excellent office with nice, courteous, professional staff. If you need some help, this is the place to go.
