I had an appointment on Monday at 11am but arrived earlier. the receptionist at the front desk with tattoos all over her arms was so rude, she said I would have to wait if all her earlier appointments showed up. Which I understand obviously but the fact that She was so condescending in her tone and never even bothered to say good morning as I had approached the desk. I ended up walking out of that place. I would never recommend that location to anyone. They obviously don’t what customer service is and if it is not for customers you wouldn’t have a job!!

VisionWorks at Monterey Plaza, Las Vegas (Liz) was exceptional and a credit to the Vision World. However, the VisionWorks location at 5195. Ft. Apache Road, Las Vegas, has a Manager that refuses to look up Vision Insurance Plans which ends up giving the customer inflated prices for glasses. This same Manager has done this two years in a row; I caught her both times.

My boyfriend has been coming to this place for his eye exams since he was a kid, he had a rip in one of his contact lenses one morning which was causing him severe headaches. I went here in hopes to get just a sample contact lense to help for the day as he waited for the order of contact lenses he had recently placed … his last check up was in September 2024 and I came in last month, the man at the front was friendly but he directed me to the back where the optometrist works, and the staff there was not friendly or helpful. The woman told me even if they had it, the prescription is too old and isn’t valid - in Nevada a prescription is valid for a year and he had just gotten it done 3 months prior at this exact location so it was clear she didn’t want to help. I went to another place down the street and they were able to accommodate without any issue. Safe to say he is no longer returning here for his eye exams.

I got my granddaughter two pairs of eyeglasses for $99.99 plus tax. This is the best deal in town for kids, but too expensive for adults. While picking up my granddaughter's eyeglasses, the optician adjusted my crooked eyeglasses for free. The staff was good and friendly. The eye contact desk is horrible. They were supposed to call me with the price for daily contact lenses, but they never followed up with the phone as they told me.

The exam and the purchase of my glasses was tremendous. The customer service was top notch, I didn't feel pressured to buy expensive name brand frames. They explained all my benefits and how to get the most out of my discounts and coverage.

I used VSP insurance through my employer and bought 2 frames with RX lenses and got new updated RX lenses in my Versace frames that I already had. I paid $0 that day because I used the payment plan they offered where I pay only $50 a month for the next year but can pay it off at my own pace.

I got over $2000 worth of frames and lenses for only $600 and felt so confident in my purchases because Dona explained everything and provided me so much space and time to make sure I found frames I like and understood all the deals.

This Visionworks is my family's location of choice and the great customer service we receive each visit has a great deal to do with that. Beware they sold me a fake Oakley, they did refunded my money but they still claim that they buy thier Oakley's directly to Oakley, I tried to get copy of my prescription Ashley (lady who helped me at the store told me that the doctor's office is permanently closed). She just did not want to give me my prescription. I attached a photos proof of fake Oakley.
If you look at this photos you will see a square of the #'s ( those are measurements) the square is supposed to be Oakley logo not square, and it si made in China, Oakley is made in California USA. I tried to look up the model# at Oakley official website there is no such model #. Every Oakley comes with authentication but Ashley (employee#101112) told me that she can give me a couple of authenticity card if I want, she told me they throw them (authenticity card) away because they are not needed. I have been wearing Oakley for a very long time, all the one I buy has authentication and waranty card. Wasted my time, very upsetting.

Frustrated and disappointed, super waste of time. We've been doing our eye exam since 2021 in this location but this year it was upsetting for my son's to have his contact lens. It's his first time to get it and I feel that they are selling contact lens with us. We called to confirm about the contact lenses but unfortunately, no prescription, we called them but gave us wrong information that they are ordering the free trials. I called again to confirm that he didn't have the prescription and ending that we have to schedule an appointment for eye exam for contact lens. We came today, the eye doctor explain what happen regarding the prescription and keep telling the same thing. I get it, they already told me over the phone and that’s why we came to schedule his eye exam for contact lens. I was upset and disappointed. Is it clear that we came for the schedule for eye exam not for your repetitive explanation then, just the doctor told me that she is not comfortable to check my son for his eye exam contact lense because I’m upset.....WASTE OF TIME. They ask if we can schedule to another doctor? What? We came here for nothing……. Nevermind… we will find another eye doctor and will not come back to this branch/Visionworks.

Do not come here. I had the worst experience I've ever had at an eye doctor or health appointment ever. This happened months ago and I have found another eye doctor (Eye Car at Rhodes Rach) that is INCREDIBLE.

To start off the kid at the front desk was on FaceTime with someone and was showing whoever it was on the phone my chart and reading out my information out loud which included my social security number. This made me extremely uncomfortable that he was just showing an unknown person my chart and reading them my information.
Next, I saw the doctor and she asked how I was getting contacts without going into a doctors office. I told her that 1800Contacts has been great for getting contacts, but I wanted to start regularly going to an eye doctor. She then started to heavily question me in an accusatory tone. She was being very aggressive about how I should not legally be able to acquire contacts over a year without seeing an eye doctor. Not sure why she was interrogating me on it. They should talk to 1800Contacts since they are the ones allowing this...
Then to top it off, I went back to get my trial contacts. I kept saying that I could not see even after 20 minutes of waiting for them to settle. The girl just said "you can see enough to drive" and urged me to leave and call back when I was ready to order them. She did not listening to me saying I did not want to order these and to test my prescription again.
Their attitudes the entire time were awful. I did not return.

Eye exam side was horrible. I made an appointment and they can't find it. Then had me waiting for more than 20 minutes and the only thing they said is than the appointment only makes you sure to see the doctor because they combine the appointments. And my wait can last up to 2 hours. So i had an appointment, why i have to wait 2 hours?

So i decided to leave and go to other place. What a waste of time and gas. 1 star because i cannot put 0 stars.

Came in to get a new pair of prescription glasses. Wanted the same one from 2 years ago. Said they don't have it in stock but can order. But then both ladies cannot even process my order via insurance- VSP without me calling VSP. Finally got the authorization but lady suddenly said no more frame available. Took her almost an hour of back and forth to enter my info in their system. Which they should already have since I bought the last one from them.
Went to the new branch on Fort Apache and found the same frame(in stock) that I bought 2 years back that I wanted to order now. I asked the guy to check how many of the same frame is still in stock. He found 180 available. Lady on vision works rainbow lied to me. Very lame and incompetent. My record should have been in their system 2 years ago. But she kept putting in my info with no result until I called VSP and have them talk to her. I don't get it. Will never go back there for sure. Guy on Fort Apache branch easily process my order. Opposite of the rainbow branch. I don't know if they are incompetent or has some kind of discrimination towards me. Gave me a hard time. Good thing I was in a good mood.

I started coming to this place since 2021, when I started my new insurance plan, VSP. I went from more of a family optometrist to more of a well-known one due to different insurance plans. All I have to say, from last years experience to my most recent have been wonderful. The optometrist and staff are very friendly and helpful, even for a quick 15-30min exam. While the staff working the store are extremely patient and willing to help. Last year, I worked with a lady named Donna(?) and she was so helpful and wonderful! This recent visit, I worked with Matt/Matthew and he was phenomenal! For a young man, he’s very ambitious and willing to go above and beyond to help me select good frames. He was patient to explain what my insurance will cover vs what the store was offering at the time (bogo glasses). Since my insurance didn’t cover frames, I opted to purchase cheaper frames and have the insurance cover the lens. Matt has great communication skills and very good people skills. He was willing to listen to my wants and needs. While my glasses were expected to be completed in 2 weeks, it got done sooner than I expected. I finished up my process with Sandy, and she definitely went above and beyond in making sure that I was satisfied with how it fits. I walked out with better eyesight and a wonderful experience! I’ll definitely be returning (especially since there’s a reminder sent to me every year, which really helps out)! Sorry for the long review. I appreciate your time in reading this review.

I'd give more than 5 stars if possible!

After using cheaper online companies like EyeBuyDirect and Zenni over the past few years (my young daughter would always find a way to break daddy's glasses so cheap and multiple pairs were the way to go), I decided to go to Visionworks. After getting my eyes tested, I was seen right way and worked with multiple staff members but Toni left a wonderful impression. She outlined my employer's benefit plan (they'd never seen a plan like mine before lol!) and helped finesse the order sequence of my glasses. I ended up getting three pairs of name brand glasses because of the partnership of VSP and Visionworks.

Here's where they earned a fictitious 6th star. I ordered my glasses the Saturday before Thanksgiving (11/20/21). I needed new glasses for my wedding in NYC-- where we were leaving on 11/29/21 (just 3 business days later!). Toni did her magic and requested that the pair I needed go expedited (at no extra cost). She beat her promise. ALL THREE PAIRS were in store by Black Friday (11/26/21).

All the glasses were cut perfectly (better than the inconsistent pairs I've gotten from EyeBuyDirect or Zenni). My family and I will be going here moving forward-- in fact my wife just went back for her own vision needs a few weeks ago.

Went here for an eye exam and felt very rushed during the procedure and like I was inconveniencing the doctor. She didn’t wait long enough for me to actually see which lense was better. Didn’t feel that confident in my prescription so I went to the vision works on blue Diamond and received infinitely better service. My prescription that I received here and at the blue Diamond location was EXTREMELY different. Needless to say I’m glad I went in for a second opinion. This was my first time at Visionworks. What a great experience! I received a friendly greeting as soon as I walked in the door. The employees and the doctor are wearing masks and also provide gloves for everyone's safety. I was early for my appointment and they took me right away. All the staff was very kind and appeared to genuinely care. Very professional and also made me feel welcome. They all seem to really enjoy their job. It was a great vibe. Dr. Helen Kinsley is just awesome! Very kind and helpful. Took the time to make suggestions about eye care for dry eyes. Also showed me the XRay of my eye and talked to me about overall eye health. She is professional, kind, down to earth, extremely knowledgeable and was willing to take her time to answer all my questions. Never once did I feel rushed. I received a complimentary sample for eye drops. When it came to checking out, they thoroughly explained my insurance coverage options. Also provided some coupons before I left. They do both walk ins and appointments. I made an appointment, but apparently some walk-ins came in right before me or they over booked. After filling out the paperwork, I was told it would be a 45 min wait. Which could easily be much longer. We only go to eye exams once a year and have never had to wait long when having an appointment at a different company. I wanted to try this because of an advertisement in the mail with what seemed like a valuable coupon off a 2nd pair. After the getting the details, it wasn't going to save nearly as much as the ad suggested. I left without seeing the Dr. I hope they can figure out a better plan to not have patients with appointments wait so long or longer than the walk-ins. They should also tell the clients prior to paperwork that it's going to be an unusually long wait period.

This was my first time at Visionworks. Dr. Knisely was friendly and extremely patient with me. I tend to feel anxious at eye appointments but she made feel at ease. Hannah, my optician was helpful and actually found the perfect frames for me(I'm asian and find it difficult to find cute frames that stay on the bridge of my nose). There was also a special for a free second pair of glasses which I took advantage of. Hannah and her partner Corinne really made *frame picking* a fun event for me. I definitely recommend Dr. Knisely and the Opticians at this location. I will certainly come back here!

Helpful staff that greet you upon entering. Frame prices available for various budgets. The promotion for buy one, get one free had no small print hassles. I got the same features on both pair at no additional cost.

Absolutely great place! We used to go to another location, but since Toni works here now, we followed her here. Toni is the store manager, she's friendly, kind, patient, also has excellent skills in adjusting glasses.
I had my eye exam done here. The doctor is professional and efficient, all the sales ladies were super friendly and I found my perfect glasses here. Highly recommend!

Went to a different Visionworks in town and was not impressed. However, the location at South Rainbow is fantastic. We came in shortly before closing time expecting to be told to come back, but instead Jhing welcomed us right in! She was incredibly efficient, friendly, knowledgeable... not enough adjectives to describe how great she was! She even filled out and faxed the form to the insurance company! Jhing went the extra mile and we highly recommend her and this Visionworks location!
