Good day Las Vegas, let me tell you a story. A few months ago, I made a decision to do something that I hadn't done in over 20+ years, that was to make an appointment to see the dentist.
So I choose Absolute Dental (Sunset)
Upon entering (needless to say that I was nervous) the receptionist greeted me with a smile and made me feel welcome and the dental assistant continued with a lite hearted reassuring presence that indicate that he indeed was professional and capable of showing empathy to this Serior of 60+ years. And then came the Introduction of who I would refer to as the "Concierge of dentistry "Dr. BUI"
There aren't enough adjectives to describe his patience his ability to not only hear U but listen to what you are saying, his presence and knowledge shows that he cares for his patient, so that leaves a lasting impression that makes the experience an experience not soon forgotten.
If it's your turn to see the dentist take it from this senior Dr.Bui is a cut above.

This was my first time at Absolute Dental - Sunset, and the staff were fantastic! They were short-staffed today but still managed to provide excellent service. I was initially worried I might be rushed, but they took their time and made sure I felt well cared for. A special thank you to my dentist for being so professional and thorough. I must admit, when I first saw this dental clinic, I was a bit skeptical, thinking it might just be a standard service, not the best. But I was completely wrong! The quality of service is exceptional, and I’ve probably had hundreds of dental clinics around here and in Mexico City. The staff and doctors at this location are truly amazing. A special thank you to the assistant who helped with the X-rays and equipment preparation; she explained each step and why, treated me with such care and compassion, and was very professional. She doesn’t know it, but her skills will definitely elevate her career. The service here is very unique. In general, I can confidently say that every single person at this clinic exceeded my expectations with the best service and quality of work. Thank you to the manager, Dr. Q, and his other assistant in training; their work is very nice. Everyone is respectful, professional, knowledgeable, and shows care and compassion, all while offering the best affordable prices.

My first visit with Absolute Dental-Sunset went really great! The moment I walked in the office I felt comfortable right away cause Charmaine welcomed me with her friendly smile. Then she introduced me to this handsome young man who did the XRay, sorry I forgot his name, he was so nice, next l met was Dr. Quan Bui, l got a little nervous but he was very friendly and that makes me relaxed and more comfortable. He checked my teeth and he explained what work needs to be done. Dr. Bui, his assistant and all the rest of his staff were very professional, knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. I loved their office, clean and presentable. I definitely recommend Absolute Dental-Sunset 100% you’ll love it!

I Am Finding Another Dentist
I recieved a phone call a few minutes ago and was asked if I am expecting same day service today. My appointment is an hour I am about to leave my house and I am being told that I'm scheduled for a consult today but I can receieve same day service though. I asked if I was scheduled for a root canal.or a consultation? She says that's what I am trying to explain. No explanation necessary. A consultion and root canal appointment are 2 totally different things. I have waited several weeks for this day. I was asked if I could come at 1:30 No
I Cannot. I asked why wasn't this explained when I was given the appointment and the cost for today. This is ridiculous. Waiting weeks to get rid of this pain and I am called an hour out from my appointment. You all can't be my dentist. This should have been explained to me that day. They billed the initial exam as acomprehensive exam so why do I need to now pay the same practice to examine the same tooth the dentist already examined and told me to get the root canal and he would then put a crown on it. If the initial dentist xrays and treatment plan aren't enough I need another dentist office. I am still sitting here with a throbbing tooth as I write, trying not to be upset. Customer Service and Patient Care has gotten lost in the sauce of I don't know what to call it.

This was the first time a dentist listened and managed to numb my jaw properly in the first try. The worst of this is finally over. Hours later I'm already feeling fine. I know it will be sore for a day or two but it's better than what I've dealt with in past shotty dental fixes and attempts. This was a great experience, now I'm looking forward to the maintenance. I’ve been going here for years. The waiting and scheduling of this office is insane. Sometimes, it takes my husband and I 3 hours from the start of our “appointment time” to leaving. While this is frustrating, and can be worked on, I also know that this office has the kindest and most genuine workers. I have always felt very comfortable with the front desk, and the dentist and hygienist are very thorough, helpful, friendly, and provide the best dental care I’ve ever received! They are very patient with me in frustrating moments, and have never shown me an ounce of distaste or disrespect (very professional on their part). I do hope that their office can work on getting us in and out better, but other than that I do love this office and will continue to come here!

WHAT A JOKE. I went in because I had an incident where half my tooth broke off, and there was a sharp edge stabbing me in the cheek; I knew I would at least need the sharp point filed down so it wouldn’t keep cutting my cheek, and eventually get a crown or get it removed. Instead This place tried to tell me I have 16 cavities, and I needed 4 crowns, and I would be paying about $4,600.00 to fix everything. They wanted to put crowns on 2 of my front teeth, but the already have minor fillings in them from a previous dentist, and I have absolutely no indications of any cavity on them; but they insist that I have 2 very large cavities on them to the point they need crowns. I asked if they could file the sharp part of the tooth for now so my cheek could stop bleeding, and they refused to, which means they were going to let my tooth stab me in the cheek for the next 4 months and get an infection until I could come in and get a crown. 16 cavities is absolutely absurd. I know I have 2 based on my dentist appointment I had 6 months ago; so there’s no way 14 have developed in 6 months; and I wouldn’t be able to really eat or drink anything if I had 16 cavities. This place is a scam. Their prices are insane.

This is the greatest dental experience I have ever had! This is coming from someone who has had a lifelong, paralyzing fear of dentists! The staff is the absolute BEST!!! Chermaine and Princess are absolute angels and they both took such great care of me and I cannot sing their praises loudly enough! My wife loves these guys. They have been very helpful, friendly, and helped us get a medical credit card to pay off our Ortho work . Front desk is great at this location. My wife liked them so much that she gave them this thank-you card (pictures).

We've been to three different absolute dentals in the last several months. Looks like we are going to give them around $10,000 to fix three kids' teeth. Although all this dental & orthodontics work is expensive, so far this seems like a decently organized group of dentists, orthodontists, and oral surgeons.

Everyone from front desk, nurses, doctors have been very polite and they've all taken plenty of time to explain this big investment in my kids' teeth.

My only criticism about this group, is that there is not very good communication from office to office. We were referred from one office to another, and they seemed very confused about our appointment, and it took a long time for them to gather paperwork and consult with the first absolute dental we visited (the one that referred us here).

They need a better system of communication between shops, and even between dentists. Basically, the left hand doesn't really seem to know what the right hand is doing. The doctors travel a lot from store to store, and I think this is some confusion here. It seems this could be fixed with a little better recordkeeping across/between offices. Once again, overall the service has been great.

I saw all the good reviews and decided to come here for my annual checkup. I honestly regret it. Mind you my appointment was first thing in the morning and I was there for 2 1/2 hours.
I do wanna say the ladies at the front desk were SUPER nice & welcoming. They make the office warm and welcoming. They’re the sweetest.

The girl who did my x-rays was not friendly and did not have a welcoming attitude. I sat in the dental chair for a while until I actually got um X-ray done. But she was in and out of my room. And then after that I was moved to another room, where the doctor took a look at my teeth but did not mention ANYTHING that my old dentist mentioned. I have a dead tooth, chipped tooth, my wisdom teeth growing sideways etc. and none of that was mentioned until I said anything. It was more of a “Oh yeah”. I felt RUSHED. But it still took a long time here. And then they had all these issues with their cleaning machines, the water wasn’t coming out and it was just broken. I sat in the chair for another 15-20 mins so they can figure it out. I ended up getting rescheduled, and when I did go, the cleaning HURT. I’m not sure what the hell the doctor was doing, but I have never had a cleaning like what he did. Honestly wont even bother to come back. I only chose this place because the good reviews and it was close to my house, but at this point I’d rather drive the distance for a better, caring doctor.

Went in for Oral Surgery, 4 wisdom 2 broken teeth. First time ever being sedated. I was very nervous to the point of tears because I did not know what to expect. The receptionist I forgot her name, young blonde lady with glasses and blue eyes, she was very sweet and made me feel comforted. The dental assistant helping the doctor was very sweet, made small talk about my perfume and the weather which brought me more comfort. When I got in the chair and they put the IV in and started the sedation.. I was out I don't even remember anything. Woke up and they took me to the car while my mom was waiting. It felt like I was there for under an hour. Again, first time being sedated and in hindsight, I had nothing to be scared about. Thank you guys! <3

My first visit went great, very kind staff and Dr. was great, kind and gentle.
The only complaint would be that I did have to wait for quite some time. I arrived 10 minutes early and left after two hours. My first visit was ex ray and exam only, I was hoping for a cleaning but that was scheduled for the fallowing week. And the procedure I want done will be at another office unfortunately with a specialist.
I’ll return to this office for sure.

I went to have a root canal and was somewhat apprehensive about going because i have had previous encounters that were horrible and very painful. But today was completely different. The dentist was very polite, explained everything and was COMPLETELY PAINLESS. I have never been to a dentist that made me feel completely comfortable and pain-free for a root canal. I’m so happy I found this office after moving to the area and having no idea where to go for dental work. Charmaine and Princess are extremely kind and welcoming and always have a smile on their face when I walk in. They make me feel at home when I walk in. DON’T DO BRACES HERE, my wife got hers year ago and still hasn’t been able to finish the treatment because the braces doctor is never there or it is just impossible to make an appointment, it’s been a nightmare, there’s a lot more options that actually care for their patients, the dentists are fine bet they are sales agents. But if you planning on doing braces go somewhere else, the staff in the front is nice.

Today was my first visit, and if there is such a thing as a pleasurable dentist appointment, this was definitely it!!! The office is very clean. I am terrified of the dentist; however the pain I was experiencing beat the scariness.
I called and was able to get a same day appointment. I walked into the office and it was clean and empty 😊 The front desk guy was very helpful and friendly, that helped me to begin to relax.
I was seen promptly and the hygienist was very friendly and gentle. He recognized how much pain I was in and took care to not add more to it.
The dentist came in examined my tooth and explained the procedure that was about to take place. The dentist was very gentle, to be honest he helped remove the pain and scariness I was experiencing.
The procedure was very quick. The entire process took an hour from start to finish.
I would recommend people who are scared of the dentist to visit this location.

Update: I was told at a different dentist office that I needed one root canal and a cap. I was told nothing can be done. After I came to absolute dental on sunset and HE FIXED MY TOOTH!! The dentist at this location gave me a filling and saved my tooth. I cried. Go to this location if you want a good dentist. They are very hard to find.

First Appointment. The first thing my husband asked me was "How was that location? Because I've been to another Absolute location & it was rough" I went on and told him about my experience. Absolutely horrible experience! Absolute dental is usually good . This is my first time at this location. If I could give it 0 stars I would. I had an appointment at 8am . The person with the key didn’t get there until 8:18 am then they had the wrong key so they had to go back and get the correct key I didn’t walk into the building until 8:50am almost a hour late because of the staff. I can say the assistants were nice and kind they bought us breakfast for wait so thank you to them. I do not recommend going to this location STAY away !

Called twice a week in advance to verify my insurance. Both times they confirm its all done and ready. 8/23/2024 Appointment day I am told they didn't verify my insurance. So they proceed to do it during my visit and make me wait about 30 minutes. So they verify the insurance and they provided the service. 8/30/2024 I received bill to pay for my service. I called back and I was told Its all cover by the insurance and I don't need to pay. 10/04/2024 I receive mail again that i have a pending bill. Bill statement is 9/26/2024. They are once more wasting my time because someone is not doing their job. My insurance is Delta Dental Plus.

I was very disappointed in my experience I pay that much for a flipper to do nothing of my own fault and it stretches to big for my mouth within a couple months to literally fall out of my mouth while I am talking. I take it back and ask to please just tighten it up somehow to be told no I need a new one that I have to “pay” all over for that is ridiculous! Who has that kind of money to pay out of pocket for every few months when your product doesn’t hold up! You should stand by your work! Not just want the almighty dollar!!! Shame on you and your company!!

Went for a tooth extraction after dealing with tooth pain for a long time only for them to tell me that their scheduling person got things confused and had me go to an office that doesn't do that kind of extraction. I had to wait another week for an appointment at the right location, but when I arrived, there were a bunch of patients waiting in the parking lot without any employees present and with the building shut down. With no communication, notice, or warning from Absolute Dental, we learned that the business would be closed for the next few days and nobody would be able to help any of us. When the location was supposed to open back up on Monday (today) it is still closed, and there has still yet to be any communication from Absolute Dental despite them already charging my card for the procedure that keep not giving me

But here, I felt valued and cared for. The staff, especially Chermaine, were so understanding and compassionate. I Have been coming to this corporation for about 3-4 years and the staff have wonderful and attentive. They thoroughly explain everything before and while you are getting treatment. I love this office, it's close to my daughters school I wish we could have transferred our ortho to this location as well but, it works for a general dentist. My daughter hasn't had any complaints or problems with her work done. Dr. Bui performed her fillings and Charmaine was helpful, paitent and informational at the front desk. Aarron assisted with fillings and was super friendly. I don't recall the assistant we had yesterday but she was super friendly and attentive to our comfort and needs and the dental hygienist provided my teen daughter with important facts for oral hygiene. Had to get an emergency extraction done and was so thankful to be recommended here. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. Both the staff and Doctor V at this location are absolutely amazing! After having a molar removed, I looked around for a dentist that was affordable to get a bridge done. I went to two other places before deciding on this office and felt more like a pay check than an actual patient. The cost of treatment plan for bridge and cavity filling by far was the most affordable quote I had gotten so I decided on this office. When I first went in they did a full check up and identified the issues with my teeth. They spaced out my cavity fillings so that I didn’t have to get them all done in one day. Dr. V did one of my filling treatments. He was very gentle and explained the procedure before hand which helped put me at ease. For my 3rd treatment I had to get fitted for my bridge. The procedure was a bit long but again Dr. V and his assistants (Megan and Christina) made the experience fun and a very easy going environment. They were very nice, caring and treated me with so much respect. I would definitely recommend this office to anyone looking to get any dental work done. Especially if you are a little scared to dentist. The staff and Doctor will help put you at ease and take care of you really well. They also open on Saturday which is great for parents or anyone who is busy during the weekdays.

Not bad, pretty good service.. Long wait times though. At least it is easy to speak to the staff or front desk when calling on the phone.. What bothered me though was the last time I was there, they wanted me to pay for a bone graph in full while my insurance covered it. They said that United Health Care takes too long to pay them. So they did not do the procedure.. I now have Delta the best insurance coverage. I hope Aces doesn't pull that on me again. Going back on Saturday for an extraction and a bone graph. I changed my rating my last visit or two was super duper unpleasant and they were so unorganized. the tooth extraction should have been really easy and went well the woman extracting my tooth took forever and kept on walking out of the room the assistant was a real rude person. This place will give you false information on your insurance and tell you that things are covered, that are not. You will then also wait months for any answers, Waiting on a decision from your insurance, with b s answers from the office every time you call for an update. They made me wait for a procedure for fillings and told me my insurance would still cover it when, in fact, they misinformed me and now my insurance will not cover the procedures when they would have previously. They really screwed me which will now cost me $1500 out of pocket. I will not be using this place again.

First appointment
I inquired about having my records sent over to another office of the same company (absolute dental meadows) after having my oral exam and x-rays completed. Reasoning, I've enjoyed that office so much that it would be worth traveling all the way to the north side then to continue at this office. I was simply "NO" and that I would have to start all over. Which was a straight lie because I've had my records transfer over before by the same company. When I checked in, I waited almost 2 hours before getting paperwork to be officially checked in.

Second appointment
I was instructed "not check-in and have a seat on the side" because I was there for only a consultation. 45 minutes later, I had to go back to the desk to inquire that I'm just here for a consultation. At first, I couldn't find my appointment, then I was instructed to fill out paperwork to check in....I could have done that 45 minutes instead of being instructed otherwise.

*There are way too many young people in office; you can just watch the disorganization and chaos. You can't even check people in orderly and professional fashion; it's just there. Customer services - poor

Consultation
It was basically 5-10 of me, giving myself a pep talk or going over all the reason why I was sitting there for the consultation. At some point, the person giving the consultation walks away to assist another co-worker in the middle procedure. I sat there wondering if that was it. In person consultation could have been done over the phone; that's how uninformative it was. It didn't meet the definition of a consultation. I spent more time in the billing office than the consultation. I told my dental insurance did not cover the procedure that I needed and to try and apply for credit. I went through the process gave SS# for pre-qualification with no impact to my credit score, they denied the application but then I was told I was approved by another company name...and then I was told they are in process of changing their company's name and they approved. But the application I was looking at on my phone told me the opposite and I was never given proof of this company that did approve me.

Lastly
I have to go through my bill with fine tooth comb because I was charged out of pocket when my company covers 100% basic and restorative procedures. Based off of the description of procedures the procedure I received fell under the criteria, I was still charged out of pocket because the codes that was used on the 1st procedure was different then on the second but they are the exact same procedure just a left and right side. The codes that were the same I did not get charged on one procedure but charged for the second procedure, which made no sense.

I still enjoy being a patient of Absolute Dental just not this location.

I had an appointment 2 weeks ago and the receptionist told me to find a new dentist because I wouldn't let her run a credit check for work, I was not going to get done at that office. I was not going to let someone run a credit check I don't need. I laughed and told her that was fine and to just get me my dental records to take to a new dentist. She refused and then claimed she never told me to find a new dentist.

I guess she didn't think I would actually leave. It's sad that this office will lose business because of a receptionist on a power trip, with a big mouth.

I would suggest that you don't hire a child to take care of financial records she doesn't understand and to demand financial information from a client.

STAY AWAY!!!! The 5 star google reviews are largely fake! These people are scam artists and incompetent dentists. I booked an appointment with them stating that I wanted a regular cleaning and exam and I'd be using my Medicaid insurance. On the appointment day they waited until after my full set of x-rays to tell me my insurance wouldn't cover the cleaning. They said I'd have to pay $75 for the cleaning. The dentist told me alternatively I could have a cleaning in 6 months at my next appointment which I found unacceptable since I have always taken excellent care of my teeth. I argued over the matter with the dentist, the receptionists and the office manager but they were intractable, condescending, rude and uncaring. I told them I would like a copy of my x-rays so I could take my business elsewhere but they wouldn't give them to me without a $25 fee.

My elderly mother was having her first appointment while all this was going on. I tried to go in to tell my mother that we needed to leave because I didn't trust them to give her good care. However the receptionist physically blocked me from being able to talk to my
mother and wouldn't let me near her! She refused to let me speak to
my own mother! I contemplated calling the police but was sure they
would make it in time. When my mothers appointment was done she came out very angry and in a great deal of pain because they had hurt her
so much with their instruments just doing a routine cleaning. She didn't need any special work done. The dentist had even stated that she had very little cleaning which needed to be done because my mother had so little calculus build up.

The dental office itself is dingy and dirty. There are no separate rooms for patients - it's just one big room with several chairs and no privacy. Even though there was only one other person there we could see him being worked on and hear every detail of what should have been a private consult. I was there for 90 minutes and the whole time their was only one other person in the waiting room because they apparently have so little business. That's also why we were able to get appointments the next business day.

I'm contacting Medicaid to let them know they should no longer work with them. If you do try your luck with these people out make sure when you arrive you verify that they will be doing all the work you requested. Do this this before giving them your insurance card or credit card. However, if you still go to these people you are making a huge mistake. I'm writing this to keep you from dealing with the stress and pain that we dealt with.

EDIT: Notice how the owner responded to this review but didn't show any caring for hurting my mother. They didn't comment on how they wouldn't allow me to warn my mother so I could have prevented her mistreatment. And of course they are still lying about how they made an appointment with me for a cleaning which they had no intention of providing. At the time I made the appointment I gave them my insurance information and told them I wanted a regular check-up and cleaning. They never called me prior to the appointment and told me they wouldn't give me a cleaning based on my insurance. Bait and switch. They lured me there gave me a full set of x-rays then told me there would be no cleaning. I'll be contacting the state dental board as well.

I love my lovely orthodontist Dr. Rao and all the assistants that work there. They all know how to make you feel comfortable and at home. THE GOOD: Not a bad place to have your dental works done. All the staff seem nice and polite. This location is relatively clean, including their restrooms. I've been seeing Dr. Wong for my dental appointments. She's very nice, soft spoken, and gentle with her work.

THE BAD: 3/5 star because one time I had to leave and reschedule an appointment after waiting for over an hour. That to me is a BIG DEAL. They could have at least notified patients if they anticipate being backed up on appointments 30 minutes in. Also inform your patients prior to their appointment if they're insurance is all "good to go" prior to their appointments and NOT on the day of their appontappointments. Because of this issue I had to reschedule one of my appointments.

Despite the 3/5 stars, I would still reccomend this place. Enjoy!

I just got my cleaning done at Aces dental on Sunset office. My experience with them is very pleasant and satisfied. The front desk staff greeted me with a full smile. Israel, the assistant (or hygienist?), is fantastic. He explained all procedures in advance, and made sure if I feel comfortable or now throughout the whole time. Most of all, he took x-rays very quickly and those x-rays are perfect. (How do I know? Cause I am a dentist, too.) I am very apprehensive when I lay down on a dental chair like most of you, so it's not easy to see patients like me from healthcare provider's perspective. But, they did such a good job.
Oh, I almost forgot to mention the doctor's name, Dr. Ellsworth. (I wish I got his name correct.) He is very meticulous, thorough, yet friendly and down to earth.

I love coming to Aces and Dental. I go to the one on Rainbow. Love how friendly the office staff is and generally you do not have a long wait in most cases. I just had an extraction by Dr V and Traisha and they were both concerned with my well being and very friendly and professional! I recommend them to all my friends!

I have been going to the sunset office for almost a year after shopping around for a dentist for about 3 months and getting nowhere, I was pretty discouraged. Lots of places are all about making money, and lack in customer service, but not Aces Dental...This place is great! The docs are so professional, and the staff is so nice -from the receptionist that checks you in to the dental assistants that work along side the docs. Thank you especially to Tiara and Tanya for all the exceptional customer service: I NO LONGER FEAR GOING TO THE DENTIST!

Thank you, Yolanda and Annette for helping and accommodating me! Last two visit, I've been in and out (one Nellis location, one sunset). Also, my doctor and assistants fixed my crown for my appointment with no issue!
*update**
It's a shame I don't have a better update, I really think the doctor's are really good here. First of all, some of the younger assistants really need more experience (my mouth is in so much pain from temporary/permanent crown issues over and over), and one of my children have cavities that they keep cancelling her appointment because 1. Doctor abruptly decided to cancel and, 2. Doctor didn't have right equipment. I almost had to reschedule for yet another month because that was the only appointment they had for that pediatric dentist at this Sunset location. Luckily, I had already scheduled for another appointment. I will continue to update for those who really want to pay attention to what's happening inside the walls.

I've been coming here since it was Ace's dental and I will say, the waiting can be insane. That's because they give people second chances when late to appointments as I have been. That screws it up for everyone, but I was so grateful to have that chance. It got the ball rolling for all my work and my four kids.
The prices are well, pricey. Again, I have to come out of pocket on my stuff because adult insurance, amirite?! That's not their fault. I was accurately quoted by Raynell (who holds down the fort, mind you) because I gave her my correct insurance. If you want accuracy, you have to give them your accurate information.
Lastly, I can't begin to tell you how wonderful this team of doctors and assistants have been to my family and I. I do not really prefer dental work, but I can relax with them! So much so, I'm sure it's like Lucille Ball in the chair. Dr. Kumar is my doctor and she is a rockstar. The hygienist was so informing, I really feel like I learned exactly how to take care of my teeth. Love their whole crew!

BEWARE OF SCAM. Be careful when you come here. ALWAYS get another opinion, this chain is a scam. I went for an exam and they said I have 11 cavities and were trying to charge me over $4k to fill them. Went and got another opinion from a dental place in Summerlin because I thought might as well pick a place with good reviews if I’m paying out of pocket since insurance doesn’t cover fillings and the other dentist said I only have 6, and is way cheaper than this scam of a place that’s supposed to be “affordable”. They are LIARS and just want your money!! Nothing affordable about them. Dentist just wants your money. Even the dental hygienist was telling me it looks like I only have a few when we were looking at the x-rays, then Dr comes in and says I have 11!! Absolute-ly not. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Staff members at the front desk were very nice and has good customer service. Lindsey was Great!! Very nice and professional. She made my 12 & 16 yr old boys feel comfortable while prepping them for the doctor. Dr. Hong was Awesome!! My dental assistant Tatyana was amazing she made sure I was comfortable the whole time. She was friendly, helpful, understanding, and accommodating. Even my x-rays were done with expertise and ease. Dr. Hong really listened to me and addressed my needs. Years and years of dental pain and she solved most of my problems in a day! Others dentists, for years and years would not tackle my issues! Saw the positive reviews of this dental office so I decided to take my daughter there for her first check up. I am a patient of Aces and Braces for many years now. On my first visit I explained to the staff how I have a phobia of needles. Everyone was so kind, patient and understanding. Dr. V was so gentle when giving me the numbing needles. I also had the pleasure on my last visit to have Dr. Uy take care of my dental needs. She also was so patient, understanding and also very gentle. Vanessa is such a sweetheart. All the front desk people are so friendly and inviting. Daisy Romero, who works in the accounting and billing section is a very pleasant and wonderful gal. She always explains all my financial commitments to me in detail and always makes sure I understand my billing process. Overall, I now like going to the dentist , even though I still get a wee nervous about the shots. Dr. V has made me trust him even more and I'm not as worked up as I usually get when going to the dentist. Thank-you everyone for helping my visit to Aces and Braces be a better experience.

Tatyana was very friendly and professional. However the Dentist was a joke. I had asked for a cleaning. She suggested a deep cleaning. However my insurance doesn't cover it. So I asked if I could just have a regular cleaning. I was told that they wouldn't do a regular cleaning cause they suggested a deep cleaning. So I have to pay 819.00 before they would do anything on me. So you lost my business.

shout out to Star for doing an awesome job, and made my daughter Julianna's FIRST dental visit easy. She made sure my daughter was comfortable. I honestly thought my daughter would not cooperate but she was able to do everything she needed to do without traumatizing my 2 yrs old girl. i can say that Dr Nou cared about her patient and good with kids as well, She did not leave the operatory without answering all your questions and you werent rush at all. Front desk Karina was friendly and helpful when she schedule my daughters appt and Victoria for her greetings with a smile and helping us about all of our concern about her insurances.

Dr. Hong and staff were so kind and gentle with me! They talked to me about the process of my cavity filling. She took time to listen to my concerns about the opposite side of my mouth. I had gone here for a second opinion. When I called and scheduled my appointment they said I didn’t need to bring anything and that the dentist would take their own X-rays and everything. I come the day of my appointment they would not see me until I had a paper sign my my obgyn saying it was okay for them to treat me. I rescheduled my appointment and went and got what they asked I had come back in for the second time the girl at the front had collected the rest of my information I sat down and waiting for 45 minutes and then the girl informed me my insurance doesn’t cover the second opinion and I would need to pay for it (I was told over the phone it was covered) she then said she wasn’t sure if the dentist could see me today I was called back into the room to talk to yet another lady and she asked what was going on and I explained she went to talk to the dentist to see what she could do she comes back into the and says maybe it’s best you go to a different provider at this point I was pissed I had been in the office for over an hour at this point and hadn’t seen the dentist. Honest review.
My kid had an appt 1/28/23.
She needed a stat referral.
The Regional director was here this Saturday and I watched her instruct the front desk staff to submit a stat , same day authorization for emergency dental surgery.

They assured us it would be done and advised us to contact the surgeon and schedule.
We scheduled the first available with the surgeon for 2/8/23. That’s tomorrow. We received a call from Dr Glymans office 30 mins ago saying that they did not have the referral. Her procedure was cancelled.
Called affordable dental on sunset 7 times between 11:15a and 1:20 pm. No answer. So I came up to the office. I will be back to add to this review depending on the outcome.

AWFUL customer service. My appointment was at 10am, got there at 9:30am, expecting that as a new patient there would be paper work. Did everything I needed to, waited another 10-15 minutes. We're at 10 minutes past my appointment now. Okay, it happens. Then they decide to tell me there's an issue with insurance. Okay. So we fix it. 30 minutes past my appointment. Losing patience with it. Then they tell me I can't fax over my xrays from my old dentist because it's apparently new patient policy that I have to do them here. Patience are shot at this point, they're just wasting my time. Tell me insurance won't cover it, $75. Whatever. Guess I'll pay it since I don't have another option. 40 minutes past appointment. FINALLY they take me back. Only to tell me that I need clearance from a doctor to be seen so they won't take me. Not coming back.

I had a tooth ache in July and went to another place. I didn't feel comfortable there and couldn't even tell that was my X-Ray of my teeth. The pain went away so I delayed my tooth extraction. (What that place recommended, but didn't explain why)

A week ago, the tooth ache came back and kept me iawake all night. I didn't want to go back to the other place. Thank God I found Aces Dental!

Dr. Hong explained everything to me and gave me options. We agreed that having the tooth extraction was the best option.

The office is nice and modern. Staff was great. I'm a grown man and was terrified of the procedure. Dr. Hong and Lindsey took good care of me and pulled the tooth out in a matter of minutes.

I would highly recommend this place to anyone!

Extremely Unprofessional. My wife has been to visit Aces dental (Sunset) 3 times. Each visit she had a negative experience. The last one was on 12/3/2018. She was scheduled at 3pm and did not get serviced until 4pm. Multiple services were added to a invoice to be charged to my insurance that had not even been done. More importantly the Dentist that she had the misfortune of providing the service Dr. Ellsworth, was extremely unprofessional. There was a list of services that were listed by the previous examination that were to be done and the purpose of the visit. Dr. Elssworth told her that each dentist is different and the dentist that gave the examination thinks one thing and he thinks another. After she was giving he numbing agent for the service he told her that he was going to do "what he wanted" and that she would either "love it or hate it." I completely understand that its possible that Dr. Elsswoth could be more experienced and may have not have thought that the services listed was not necessary. However as a paying customer you do not tell someone that you are going to do what you want and that she as the customer had to either "love it or hate it." It is extremely unprofessional, unnecessary, and as her Husband infuriated me. After speaking with management they emailed us a"revised" invoice. The main concerns are the Following:
*Scheduling-Waiting an hour to be seen is ridiculous. There is the reason for an appointment, and if they cannot meet it then they should request to reschedule.
*Customer service- The front desk staff treated my wife with complete disrespect. And as previously mentioned the Dentist had horrible bed side manner that made my wife uncomfortable to even return without me.
*Billing- They had added and removed multiples items and it was never clear what we were being billed for until the situation was escalated to management.
*OVERALL- For something that no one wants to do (go to the dentist) the experience in my opinion could have been handled in a more professional manner and due to that (along with the mentioned concerns above) I will definitely not taking my family back there.
