Alyssa G. puts me completely at ease for all of my injections, from my hip to my knee. After a previous injector at a different doctor’s office traumatized me with an “easy” injection that was extremely painful, I was understandably very nervous about getting injections again.

Went to Dr. Kim for my shoulder pain I've been having for months. I found him after having a terrible experience with another local ortho doctor. Really glad I found him.

You can tell right away he's an expert in his field, but he's also friendly, warm, and super knowledgeable without making you feel rushed. He walked me through a treatment plan that actually made sense, and there was no pushing me toward anything I didn't need.

The front desk was great too. Everyone was friendly, things ran on time, and my follow-up was easy to schedule. Honestly it's not often you find a doctor who really knows his stuff and is genuinely kind, but Dr. Kim is both.

If you're dealing with a shoulder orthopedic issue / injury (his area of focus) in Vegas, go see him. Really grateful for the care I got.

reception is overworked and understaffed so they are rude and short with clients, dr ken saw me for pain in both knees, however completely dismissed me when explaining my pain and concerns. he asked if i was hypermobile, said i shouldn’t squat anymore, then left the room. i don’t believe the medical or clerical staff are incapable or uneducated, however it is obvious there is a need for more support.

Today I took time off and was in a $30 Uber and got called less than an hour before my appt and they cancelled. So I had to spend $20 more to get home. $50 down the drain thanks. The MRI scheduler needs to be retrained or fired if this is more than a one time occurrence. My spouse needs urgent surgery and I had to show up at the office TWICE after her appointment to get them to even submit authorization for the STAT MRI. The scheduler never called us to schedule when we wanted to do cash pay (which we were told was supposed to be able to schedule same day or next day bc it doesnt need insurance authorization) then when I didnt hear back I called to give them my new insurance THREE TIMES and left 3 voicemails, NO RESPONSE. I show up to see whats going on and the MRI scheduler didnt submit ANYTHING, had no clue that we had insurance, AND LEFT EARLY so they couldn't help me. I was told to show up first thing in the morning the next day so I took off of work and show up to find out that they still havent submitted anything and are only just now going to start the pre-authorization process A WHOLE WEEK LATER. Now her urgent surgery is likely delayed all bc of this one staff member and this networks HORRIBLE phone and voicemail system.

Edit: and in case it wasn't clear, I NEVER got a return call and literally have to drive to the office to get anything done. In fact, they called my spouse to tell her that they messed up the billing and STILL HADNT EVEN LISTENED TO ONE OF MY MESSAGES SO THEY STILL HAD NO CLUE THAT WE HAD INSURANCE. However, the medical assistant did give us a direct number after experiencing this so just know that front desk and medical assistants will do everything they can to help you, and the doctors are some of the highest rated in all LV and are very caring. Its just dealing with this horrible phone routing system and random schedulers involved that made this experience so burdensome

June 2026 rt knee replacement; ouch, ugh, yuck- that is the nature of the beast. Dr Liu and Megan made the “adventure” seemless and I have progressed well. I enjoy my follow ups with Megan, she answers all my odd ball questions, we laugh a lot. 2019 Right shoulder arthroscopic shoulder repair. Excellent care again. 2018-They take excellent care of my knees, and last year I had massive arthroscopic shoulder repair done. My shoulder hasn't been this good in years. Dr. Liu and Megan are very attentive and the office staff is pleasant.

I had a knee procedure done with Dr Trainer. He was very professional and friendly prior to my procedure. Based on the interactions prior I decided to move forward. After the procedure I had 2 follow-ups. Not once did Dr Trainer come in and speak with me. Some other young guy came in both times to go over everything. I was disappointed the doctor, who performed my procedure, wouldn't speak with me after. He's only available prior so he can "earn" your business and make you feel comfortable about how the procedure will go. During both follow-ups I stopped at the check out desk to pay any balances owed. The 2nd to the last follow-up I was told there was no balance owed. On my last follow-up I was told there was a balance but I didn't have to pay it. I advised the girl very politely that I wanted to pay any balances owned before leaving since this was my final follow-up. I paid the balance owed and left. I received 2 text messages since stating there is 2 balances owed. When I sign in it will allow me to pay any balance owed, even the balance I paid in the office. Nice little scam this office has going on. Allowing customers to pay old balances that have already been paid. I feel when you click on a balance it should show "paid" and not allow you to pay multiple times. Klara is the service they use but regardless they are responsible for how those systems function since they use their services. Now I have to call to see what balances I actually owe so I don't overpay for services rendered which seems like what they want you to do. Assuming you don't notice and request a refund. Just keep track of what you've paid and don't expect the doctors to follow-up with you after your procedure and you should be fine proceeding with this office. With all the money these doctors make you would assume they would take the time and provide a little customer service once your procedure has been completed.

He had an x-ray taken in less than 5 minutes and went through what is causing pain. We decided on an injection and he did it in minutes. Then he told us he can do the other shoulder basically with a one day appointment if it is available. They can be repeated about every 3- 4 months.

My husband and I left feeling well informed and in control of shoulder pain.

By the way, I stretch completely through the pain daily to keep the shoulders from freezing per numerous physical therapist. I hope Andrew's injections will make the pain more tolerable.

Update August 2026:

I’ve been seeing doctor Timothy Trainor’s team recently due to left shoulder pain. The entire staff is so nice and accommodating. Definitely arrive early because the office is super busy! Afternoon appointments seem to go faster than mid-morning.

The office has an in-house MRI machine, which I used last week. The appointment was easy and the attendant made me feel comfortable the entire time.

Today, I stopped in for my MRI results and luckily I don’t have a rotator cuff tear!! That was a concern due to my symptoms. I did have a minor labrum tear, which is relatively common due to my age. It’s deep inside the shoulder, and not affiliated with the pain I was having on my outside shoulder and upper arm.

To help alleviate my discomfort, they suggested a cortisone shot. I could come back for another every few months, as needed. Andrew W. Is a PA on the team and he’s excellent at giving shots! He and the nurse prepped the materials, used cooling to numb the area, insert the shot into my rotator cuff muscle on my back, and then apply a laser for healing before taping on a bandage. It was very efficient and fast, plus relatively painless!! I was so impressed!

If you need a cortisone shot, I would definitely ask for Andrew W., if possible!

Today was my stitches removal with Dr. K. I was in and out very quickly and he always makes sure to double check and speak to me after any visit with the tech. Because this was a deep incision for my foot, I needed stitches in there a little longer, nearly 3 weeks. They are also very thick to hold things together, sort of like fishing wire. Lol I would highly recommend to take a pain reliever beforehand (if driving, take one you can drive with) because they are a little tight and had some tugging to cut and get them out. The tech always made sure I was comfortable during the procedure. Dr. K will be seeing me again in two weeks to reevaluate the healing. They added some more butterfly bandages that will eventually fall off and wrapped my foot up well. Still no baths, but showering is fine. I really appreciate his follow-up and his awesome staff.

Many offices I go to, they have their heads down texting on their phones or reading something?? The MA calls you in with the same smile and lets you know just how long the wait will be. Meagan enters the room and always asks how I am doing and really cares. She answers all my questions and I never feel like I am being pushed out. The Meagan and the entire office is wonderful and very professional. I have no problem giving bad reviews if they are warranted but this office deserves 5 stars.

Absolutely terrible experiences during my last two visits to this office.

The front desk staff were consistently blunt, dismissive, and flat-out rude. They showed zero empathy or patience, which was especially surprising given that many of their patients appear to be older to elderly adults. I would be extremely upset if my parents were treated the way I saw patients being treated here.

Both of my appointments with the doctor also felt incredibly rushed. On my most recent visit, when I asked for more information about a potential surgery, I was simply handed a piece of paper with the procedure’s name hand written on it and told, “so you can review and google it at home.” (Still have documents to prove it) That is not the level of patient education or communication I expect when discussing a surgery.

During my first visit, I received a cortisone injection with virtually no explanation of what to expect going forward. I was only told it would help with the pain and to schedule another appointment 8 weeks later. No one explained that it could take several days to reach its full effect or discussed any other expectations or potential side effects. I only learned those details later because my physical therapist took the time to thoroughly explain everything.

To top it all off, I was literally forgotten in the exam room. While in the room waiting, I overheard the doctor asking if anyone was still in the exam room because she noticed the door was closed. A staff member came in and said, “Oh, you’re still here.”. This was a shock to me as more then 30 min earlier they handed me forms and said “I will be back to collect these” I was still waiting for them to collect the paperwork and to provide me with the information about the surgery I had requested.

Overall, this office left me with no confidence in the quality of care or communication they provide. After these experiences, I have no trust in them to perform any surgery and will not be returning. It felt like very few people in the office genuinely cared about helping their patients. Save yourself the time, money, and frustration by looking elsewhere.

Good visit Brett took the time and explained what we will do going forward. By time I go home 40minutes office staff called me to tell me insurance ok next procedure and they book right then. I have recommended this practice several times from staff to doctors excellent service

I went to see Dr. Kim for my elbow. He can’t help me with the surgery I need, but he went above and beyond finding someone who can. I wish more doctors were like him. Twenty or so doctors just told me no. Doctor Kim personally called doctors for me and called me to make sure that I was being taken care of.

She is kind, she listens to your concerns and questions. She will also be honest with you as well. If you have an X-ray she will talk to you about it and explain to you what is going on to where you understand not in the doctor terminology way. I 100% recommend her and will go back to her
