We were so fortunate to find Dr Prum. My wife is recovering from a massive stroke and Dr Prum has spent more time seeing us and answering our concerns than I could have ever expected. She’s taken care of all follow up appointments with cardiologists and neurologists. I’ve been so impressed I’ve also switched my primary care to Dr Prum. A Dr who takes phone calls at all hours. I didn’t think they existed anymore.

Dr. Andra Prum is a fantastic caring doctor.
She is a concierge doctor who is worth every penny of the annual fee.
Dr. Prum is well connected in the medical community and can quickly refer you to a specialist and get you seen. Her staff is kind and both are on time appointments.
Dr. Prum’s understanding and compassion toward me and my health issues were wonderful. I had some “issues” I wanted to ignore, (head in the sand patient, if I don’t think about it, it won’t be a problem, kind of patient) and those issues turned out to be more serious.
Dr. Prum insisted I get checked out and patiently said, “get checked for your family and friends, we all want you around for a long time”. Thank goodness.
Her follow-up have been timely and as an OD she can do some manipulation, circulations style massages for muscles that is beyond relaxing and relieving.
Thank you Dr. Prum for your excellent care! I will definitely send friend my recommendations!

If you are frustrated with healthcare like I was, come to Dr.Prum. She is amazing, very kind and very thorough. Her appointment is 1 hour and she always makes me feel like I am talking to a sister, the provider/patient relationship I looked for. Her MA is amazing and very helpful. The office is nice and clean. My appointment is on time. I never have to wait in the lobby for hours like other clinics. Highly recommend!

I am very happy to have found Dr. Prum as my concierge doctor. She takes her time to listen and really cares about her patients. The fact that her practice offers a concierge services is a huge weight off my shoulders. I don't have to wait until regular office hours, if Im sick in the middle of the night and I don't want to go to the ER or I ran out of medication that I really need, I can call and she answers there is no waiting forever on hold like other offices. Thank you Dr. Prum !

Took my husband to his appointment today (6/5) just to learn that Dr. Prum had moved from that location on S Rainbow, and they didn’t know where to. They did tell us the MA had canceled the appointment. It would have been nice to know any of this so that we didn’t waste a trip. Only reason this didn’t get a one-star rating is because we’ve liked Dr. Prum personally.

I have searched for a long time for a good primary care. On my first visit Dr Prum took time, listened and addressed any needs I had. I had been told by other primaries that they just didn’t have the time to manage my care and that I should even look out of the state to find someone. Well, I waited and decided to try 1 more doctor recommended by someone at Emmediate infusion. Dr.!Prum was worth the wait!!

Dr is fine, but getting a prescription THAT THE DR ORDERED sent to the pharmacy takes an act of congress. Such a headache I'm looking for a new Dr.

Update: editing this review and removing a star to share that this issue is ongoing. It is nearly impossible to get in touch with the office unless you are in the lobby. I have never received a return call from the message center, and yet again I'm on multiple phone calls to get a prescription called into the correct facility DESPITE alerting staff at last my Dr appt that they used the wrong pharmacy. At the time I was told they would fix it, and now here I sit, being unable to get my prescription filled and unable to talk to anyone in the office. Since these reviews seem to be the only thing the office staff looks at or pays attention to, I'm hoping they see this and can address the error.

Dr. Prum is so thorough and really takes the time to listen and explain everything. The office is good about returning my calls by next day.

I have been seeing Dr. Prum for sometime now. I believe she's overworked. The last time I went to see her, she didn't spend but three minutes with me. I'm diabetic and I was having issues with my foot and it was not really addressed. She put me on a new medicine that was never even called in to the pharmacy. Every time I have an appointment, she's always running behind. I use to love going to see her, but now I feel like there's really no care or compassion in her office anymore. I have found a new primary care doctor because I need a doctor who listens and cares about my health not just to make a buck.

Do not recommend. I waited two months for an appointment and the office called me two days before to let me know the doctor wasn’t going to be in that day and said the next appointment would be another two months. Very upsetting.

It is nice to have a physician who cares, who listens, and who includes my input in the plan of care. She cares. Staff have always greeted me on arrival. My wait time for my appointment is typically less than 10 minutes. She stays current on medical information as she is also involved teaching medical residents.

A resident doctor is only there for certain hours and days. As a retired nurse, it is fun to see the newest generations of doctors coming through the education system. On "Resident Days", they see me first, ask questions and do an appropriate exam. They leave and discuss their findings with Dr Prum. She then comes in herself to confirm their findings or ask more questions. It makes for a very thorough appointment. I appreciate how closely she supervises the resident.

I'd recommend Dr Prum to everyone.

Dr. Prum is a nice lady. Her office, on the other hand, is non responsive. I call offen, and no one ever picks up. It takes forever to get a prescription filled. I spoke to Dr. Prum about this issue I was blown off, and nothing changed. Now I'm looking for a new Primary Care Doctor.

Dr. Prum is a great doctor. Very understanding and responsive with my medical needs. She has good followup and is on time with appointments. I have called the office and they have ordered prescription refills without problems. I have been seeing Dr. Prum for about 4-5 years and I had a very positive experience with both her and the staff. I have recommended her to friends and family.

Dr. Prum has been my and my daughter's primary care physician for about one year now. We both really appreciate the friendly, supportive, but also knowledgeable, environment that she creates. She does have interns -- as this is a teaching facility -- and they have adopted that same type of approach -- very accepting and genuinely concerned.
I would highly recommend Dr. Prum to anyone looking for a PCP that has that unique balance of both compassion and experience.

Dr. Prum has showed empathy, compassion, and love for what she does and me as a patient. She not only is willing to always take care of me but also provides amazing care from herself and her residents. As this is a teaching facility the students working alongside Dr Prum are also very helpful and willing to provide the best care. Dr Prum takes her time with me so I am able to express all my medical concerns. Her and her staff are always amazing and supportive. I would recommend coming here if you looking for quality care!

Physician care: Andra Prum, herself is a competent and compassionate provider. She is clearly overworked in her practice and for that I believe she defaults to generic patient care and goes through the motions rather than customized individualized medical care. She is the reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1. Do I think her office is more interested in racking up bills across multiple appointments accomplishing nothing instead of one appointment to accomplish all care needs? Yes. For example: I couldn’t get a flu shot in her office, but was interested in administering a 12 lead EKG even though I am a healthy 30 year old male with zero cardiac problems. As a busy healthcare provider myself, I don’t have time to chase my own care with my PCP.

Professionalism/access to care: Abhorrent. Certainly there is nothing easy about getting care at her office. My medications of which I am dependent on, would lapse every single month for the last year. Call her office. They have an outsourced service, you cannot actually get in contact with anyone in her office via phone. I called and left messages on her “renewal of prescriptions line.” Not only did my phone calls go unreturned but when something could not be filled, I was never informed and had to reach out via the portal (not my patient portal) but through their appointment scheduler who, again does not even work in her office, in order to find out. Scheduling appointments goes through a through a third party as well. Without exaggeration if you want anything done for your healthcare at her office, it will be an undertaking on your part and who has time for that when you are sick.

Additionally, She has at least one medical assistant(MA) who on two separate occasions made unprofessional comments overstepping her education and professional scope. As she is an MA and not a MD, PA, NP, or Pharmacist, she is not qualified to make comments about medications to patients like “why are you on so much?” There were more examples but that one speaks to her professionalism the best.

In closing, I understand healthcare is suffering and all providers are overworked. This is not personal, this an objective account of my care experience in her office over the last 15 months. If you are wondering if you should get care here, understand the logistical undertaking you will be taking as the patient, not what the provider is taking on to provide healthcare to you.

Would not go here if it was the last place on the earth. Save your time and look anyplace else!!!!! You’ll be on hold forever. I was discharged from the hospital and because my call to them was not within 2 days, because I was call 25, my appointment would be 6weeks down the road!!
GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!

Wouldn’t recommend coming here, staff is incompetent they give me referrals that isn’t covered with my insurance. I tried getting it fixed by calling multiple times and leaving voicemails. The voice machine says that they will contact back within 24 hours. It’s been weeks with no contact even though I’ve left multiple phone calls and multiple voicemails so don’t waste your time and come here. if I could give zero stars, I would.

As a 4 year cancer survivor who’s been screaming from the rooftops, begging my Dr’s to see and hear me. I finally found the right fit. Dr. Prum and her medical student spent a long time getting to know me, going over my medical records, and making me apart of the decision making. She referred me to another specialist, to add to my medical team, had me sent for labs, and for other testing. For the 1st time I felt like I had a primary that saw me and heard me, but most importantly included me in the decisions that would be made for “me”. The office staff were kind and efficient, the wait to be seen was minimal, and it was a clean facility.

I was in Vegas on a vacation. I was horribly sick, asked a family friend to recommend a doctor.
Dr Andra Prum was recommended and it was truly so disappointing to have Doctor see you and tell you there is nothing wrong with you, but go to CVS and buy Covid test. If you test positive call our office, like really your office made me fill out 10 pg of history. You then leave me sitting in room by myself telling me someone will come and do a strap test, sat there for 20 min. No one came by and I open the door and the Doc all of a sudden appears waving paper. Call us if you have Covid. Such an incompetent and uncaring Doctor. Have to wonder where did you get your degree from.
Lady you collected full some and more from my insurgence and you can’t provide basic service.
You’re an embarrassment to the medical field. I was damn sick for the next three weeks b/c they’re doctors like you who can’t figure that it’s a simple flu. You could have save your reputation by treating me right?

The Dr. is caring and nice but her assistants… I feel like they don’t care. Pam called me last Friday to tell me “we sent your referral and it’s URGENT you make the appointment” . She said URGENT 3x. So in my head I’m like “okay, this is serious. Let me get this done asap”. Why do I go to the office she sent the referral to and they claim they never received it! Like what?! Ok, whatever, I’ll call later. I called to talk to Pam to double check if she sent it & she said “I did send it but it’ll take a couple days. If they haven’t reached out, YOU should call them” 🙄 like why didn’t you say that from the get go?? I’m stressing over making this damn appointment because she said it was URGENT. Here i am.. the following friday, no appointment made for this URGENT testing because the neurology center did not receive the referral…

New update: 9/20/23 Got off the phone with whoever is scheduling appointments currently and let me just say, they are hella rude. So short, emotion less, & just “bye”*click*
Probably why this place is at 2.5.. People are trainable, you can’t train their attitude.
Looking for a new office.

Overall, I'm satisfied with my primary care experience. As a training hospital, I understand the need for rotating doctors to gain experience. However, it can be somewhat frustrating having to explain my medical history and background information to a different resident each time. I would appreciate more continuity in my care to build a stronger patient-doctor relationship. Despite this, the care provided has been satisfactory, and I'm grateful for the expertise and attention I've received during my visits.
