This is the WORST doctor! The doctor is never available, you wait months for your appointment only to be called the week of and told that the doctor needs to reschedule. The reason? Her kids soccer game. Can you believe that? Then they offer you a new date several weeks out from your original when it was the DOCTOR who had to reschedule? I understand that family comes first, but what about your patients who waited and have a genuine health concern? Do they not deserve the medical attention they are coming to you for? I think this doctor needs to figure out her priorities because her patients are definitely not a concern, just a way to pay her bills. Why else do the receptionists constantly push the PA? Not a committed doctor. Don't waste your time!

Dr. Ortega-Bermudez is great! The rest of the office is hard to deal with. I never get a person on the phone. My requests are always wrong, ex. referrals. I even give exactly what is needed in the phone messages. It takes numerous calls before I can get the correct request done. Lack of a patient portal makes it even more difficult.

This is the worse doctors office. I went for annual exam, and they billed my insurance incorrectly for lab work (was diagnostic, not preventative). When I tried to call them to correct, there phone doesn’t work. I had to go in person to wait an hour for their billing rep to correct the billing codes. They promised me it would be corrected as the mistake was on their end. Guess what... when they resubmitted, they made the mistake TWICE! They still resubmitted the wrong way! When I got my insurance company and lab who did the blood work on the phone, it was clear the office made the same mistake twice. We tried calling to have them correct on the phone, but yet, phone wouldn’t go through..... after spending hours on the phone, I left work to go into their office for a 3rd time to correct something that any doctor who does annual exams, should’ve billed right the first time. To make a patient spend 7-8 hours chasing them down to correct a simple mistake for a 30 minute routine doctor visit is embarrassing. The customer service at the front was a joke. They made me wait another hour without even being able to see the office manager. If Doctor Ortega reads this, who is a kind lady, she needs to realize the disorganization, errors and lack of responsibility for mistakes made by her team has caused me more headache and stress— than anything I could’ve dreaded of dealing with just trying to get a annual exam.
Lesson is I’m finding a new doctor who:
1) you can actually reach on the phone and speak to.
2) a Doctor and their staff and that knows what they’re doing and can actually bill an annual exam properly.
I won’t ever assume the doctor will bill correctly- so I’ll mandate I need to see how they’re billing from now on so it’s done correctly before any tests are done.

I love Dr. Ortega. She's extremely welcoming and friendly, as well as always concerning & caring about the patient. I was shocked to find she is the amazing kind of doc that remembers her patients. Knew me by face and name even after over a year without an appointment. For someone with an aversion to docs like I have, she is an amazing individual.

I saw Dr. Ortega-Bermudez yesterday for a chronic condition and a painful hip with sciatica. She is very warm, friendly, professional and knowledgeable. We discussed my issues and came up with a game plan together. I worked in health care for 25 years and she is one of the warmest physicians I've known. She was excited to learn that I worked in health care, which is unusual. I'm looking forward to my follow up appointment with her.

I generally hate going to the doctor's office, but Dr. Ortega is a great family doctor! She is exceptionally friendly and always hopeful; she makes each visit comfortable.
Like most offices, this place is always busy, so get there early to fill out paperwork and anything else they need before you see the doctor.
It's nice to know there's a doctor out there who genuinely cares about you and wants to help you in every way possible.

This was by far the best introductory visit I've ever had to a doctor's office, and I have seen more doctors than the average person. Dr. Ortega was fun, friendly, informative, and professional. She took time with me and listened not only to my medical history, but to my personal story, as well. It seems strange to say that I look forward to returning for a follow-up visit!
She had a medical student shadowing her, and he, too, was friendly and thorough. Dr. Ortega took time to teach him during my exam in a challenging and encouraging way. The staff was also friendly and fun, making this visit the best part of my day.
