I cannot recommend Dr. Fong and his team enough! I’ve had two experiences here so far, and as someone who hadn't been to the dentist since I was 17. I was definitely feeling anxious. Dr. Fong is incredibly empathetic and walks you through everything step-by-step, keeping you updated on what he’s doing.
I came in stressed for my fillings and left feeling totally calm.
It honestly felt like a self-care day which it was long needed for my teeth!

Nothing to complain about. I had a few cleanings here and they were always nice and seemed competent. My last visit I made the mistake of asking them to do my cleaning before they got authorization from my insurance and they did it and took it in stride.

Dr. Luu and Dr. Fong are great. I trust them with my teeth so that should say a lot. Because without your teeth, what are you really? For the most part, I have not had to wait too long for my appointment and I feel generally good about the treatment and cleanings so far. Keep up the great work!

These guys are fantastic.....complete opposite of other dentist I just went to.

Called this place twice......and someone answered both times.

Got it right away. Got x-rays done. Doctor said I needed 4 crowns, a deep cleaning and an extraction (other dentist said I needed 2 crowns, a bridge, a deep cleaning and an extraction).

He said since I wasn't in much pain and there was no infection, I should put off the extraction because it would make my situation worse.

He said that tooth does 80% of the chewing so it would go to the other side of my mouth. On that side, I have two teeth with cracks in the fillings which make them both fall apart, making everything a lot worse.

The other dentist wanted me to do the extraction anyway because all they care about is their money....not the patient's health/wallet.

Also, this place's deep cleaning costs $800. The other place was $2,000 while the average is about $1,400.

I already told two friends they should go there.

If you want your identity to become stolen, this is the perfect place to go to! I went to this location for ONLY exam & x-rays, and they recommended for a bridge and crowns to be rendered. They quoted me for $2,000 through Commenity Bank. However, I mentioned that I would not be able to make the payment. Instead, not only did they use my personal information to sign up and receive the payment they charged for services that were never rendered. I’m currently in financial distress because of this. I will make civil suit and pressing charges against this company.

I had the absolute best dental experience here at Boca Dental on Sahara and Decatur. I called and spoke to a very nice lady named Liz. She was able yo get me in office asap and help me get set up for the best care and pain relief. Once I made it to the back, Tina and Kenia were also super nice and personable. Dr.Fong did my tooth extraction and he provided lots of helpful information and options based on my current financial situation. So here's my issue with dental clinics like this. I know Liberty Dental is probably one of the worst insurances you can have for things like this. Here's the thing though, if you say you take the insurance then take it, if you can't just say that. What I won't allow you to do is try to BS me by trying to make as much money off of me as you can off my insurance with X rays and the such but when it comes to the actual procedure you try charge me over 1k for unnecessary work that my insurance won't cover when all I need is a basic Prophylaxis (routine) cleaning which you won't do because its "not needed and not the work you need which would constitute as fraud" which preventative care is always needed. Its a thing with a lot of dental clinics that they will do this to squeeze what they can out of your insurance and yet not offer you any treatment you need. I'm tired of this so I'm making this review to call out dental clinics that do these bad faith practices under the guise of policy. I got my x rays sent to these folks from a clinic in Seattle (very nice and kind hearted people that don't try to BS you with policy who gave me the diagnosis that I just needed a routine cleaning. These folks had the audacity to tell me they don't accept X rays because it's against policy when I KNOW they're just trying to wring money out of my insurance before they offer a plan that is not needed and not covered by my insurance. They told me to look for another dentistry which I will but not without letting others know of bad faith practices like this.

This Boca dental has caused me so much pain and loss of my teeth. They didn't work on what was wrong. The dentist at location on Jones only concentrated on the most expensive work and avoided my cavities. He said he would work on them later. It got too late my cavities got too deep and my teeth had to be removed he said it was too late now ren wanted my to pay for implants.Now the refuse service because I filed a complaint on them and stop payment before work was done. Now they have several excuses saying I have work in progress and need the finish with them dont go there. I just spoke with Reyna at location on Sahara and told me I can go rotheirofficebw cause the other office said I need to get to them to finish work. I refuse for them to somewhere else. It's a horrible place. Very unprofessional and only want to charge you for expensive work not the basic needs. Beware. This is a bad experience with dentist I never expected. Avoid them. 0 for performance and service..

I usually have great experiences at dental offices — everyone is kind and professional. But this location was completely different. The staff here were very rude and dismissive.

I explained that my gums bleed when I brush or floss, and they took X-rays but didn’t seem to care. When the doctor came, he said I needed a cleaning, which I was fine. Then the billing person told me I had to pay $120, even though I have insurance.

When I asked for clarification, the staff gave confusing answers and told me my insurance only covers it “if I’m pregnant.” That made no sense, and the woman even said, “If you’re not happy, you can just leave.”

I felt disrespected and uncomfortable, so I left immediately. I already contacted my insurance, and they’re helping me find a better office.

So let's take a look at my completely messed up, negative experience with Bocal Dental.

To start with, I recently went in for a simple cleaning, for the second time ever. Same location both times. The first cleaning (1 year ago) seemed to be fine. I had a couple cavities that they filled no problem. All covered under my insurance. The same insurance I had for my appointment today. So today, I went in to the same location for a second cleaning, my annual cleaning. After going through the paperwork the Dentist came in and looked at my teeth, and stated that both fillings THEY DID were falling apart and needed to be replaced. He then used his tool to scratch at the fillings and scrape some of it away, then took pictures to show me the "current state" of the said fillings. Which were all of a sudden worse than what I had been looking at in the mirror the last few days at home. Then after he left one of his assistants came and informed me that my insurance would not cover the cleaning he recommended, beither would it cover replacing the fillings they did themselves a year ago. First and foremost, if the fillings YOU GUYS DID are falling apart, you should absolutely re-do them at NO COST. No cost to me or my insurance. Also, I understand if my insurance only covers basic cleanings, and I would need to come out of pocket for any more extensive cleanings. However, when you can't afford to come out of pocket, they turn you away and refuse to do any cleaning whatsoever. They won't even do the cleaning that my insurance covers. This is so messed up. They raise all this concern about the health of your teeth/gums then refuse to do a lesser cleaning covered by insurance because the Dentist recommends a more expensive cleaning. How does this make sense? A lower level cleaning is better than no cleaning at all! They do this so they can force you to pay more money. These Dentist offices don't care about helping you, they care about lining their pockets further with money. It makes absolutely no sense to walk out without getting the simple cleaning that is covered by insurance, just because they deemed you in need of a more expensive cleaning. They should do the lesser cleaning, then recommend you come in as soon as possible for the more expensive cleaning they recommended. This is extortion at it's finest, most legal right.

Also, it's important for me to point out that the cavity fillings they did a year ago, that now "needed attention", did not hurt at all when I first came in. I had no sensitivity surrounding these fillings. My sensitivity was around a tooth that did not have any cavities at all. But now that the Dentist picked away at the fillings with his tools and pulled off what was left of the filling, the old cavities hurt all of a sudden. Now I have to figure out a way to pay out of pocket to fix something that wasn't a problem in the first place. Something Boca dental should assume the cost of. They purposely made the cavities fillings worse than what they were when I walked in the door, and demanded money to fix it. This is beyond messed up. Now I'm dealing with new pain that wasn't there before, all because they wanted to extort more money out of me. And I know I'm not the only person they do this to. They pick away at fillings knowing it's going to cause pain and sensitivity, and then demand more money to fix it. They do this knowing that the newfound paind/sensitivity will help extort more money out of the patient. It's sickening. This system is rigged and messed up. They say they try to help you pay for the extra fees outside of your insurance, but their "help" is offering financing programs that don't approve you unless you have good credit. Which 75% of the United States population doesn't have good credit. There is no "help". It's a facade, a guise of them pretending to care while they sit there with their hand out waiting for you to put money in it. The entire dental system is rigged, and Boca Dental is a fine example of that. In fact, they are a massive perpetrator of it. Avoid this place at all costs.

Fui una vez y fue la última vez. Como no tenía seguro me hicieron llenar un formulario y una parte pide SSN lo cual me pareció raro, al ingresar y hacer clic chequean tu crédito. Salí muy disgustado porque yo no estoy pidiendo un préstamo para pagar la cuenta.
Dice que no impactaría tu crédit score pero sí impacta.
La atención no estaba mal, simplemente deben decir a los pacientes si pueden pagar o no. No es necesario pedir el SSN.

I had such a phenomenal visit at this Dentist's Office ! I was greeted by 3 sweet ladies -- Christina, Liz and Marie :). They were both very welcoming and got me checked in and out expeditiously ; and made sure all my needs were met ! As soon as I got to the back I was greeted by Jenny who was very sweet and talked to me whilst I had my cleaning, Dr. Fong came in and made sure I was taken care of wonderfully ! I will be returning as it did cross my t's and dot my i's to the max ! :)) (10/10 recommend).

I do NOT recommend this dental office to anyone. I had a very bad experience and the owner provides no assistance to make a bad experience better. He would rather lie and try to deceive patients.
This is the WORST experience I have ever had . I'll attach a picture of what they give you as dentures. Cheap Plastic with glued in teeth. The teeth have fallen out several times. This dentist ruins peoples lives!

Following my appointment with Dr. Daniels, I was scheduled for a crown and later, a root canal. Despite the dentist's assurance that my pregnancy-related insurance coverage would cover the root canal, the pre-authorization was not submitted on time. Despite numerous calls and significant delays, office manager Liz provided unhelpful and unprofessional service, ultimately resulting in the denial of my insurance coverage once my pregnancy ended. I attempted to obtain my medical records, but this was also unreasonably delayed. I am extremely dissatisfied with the service I received

Went here with insurance for a cavity filling. Told me I had to have a root canal or pull it. It could be fixed but they chose the most expensive option or pull it. Now I see why other wrote about how the doctor won’t Fix teeth and only pull. Should’ve listened. Pulled my molar and tore my jaw muscles. Damaged both teeth on either side of the pulled tooth now I have to get those fixed as well. But not here!!!

P.S all the oral health care in the world doesn’t prevent or stop things from happening 100%! 🥴
