My experience with Dr. Mocherla To date has been somewhat limited. However, she appears to be extremely intelligent, competent, and focused. Having only had two conversations with her thus far in my advanced cancer journey… I have found her to be clinical into the point. I am hoping we can build a warmer rapport as we navigate my care.

This particular office and doctor are excellent.
However, my GP office has not responded to my need for a prior auth to seek a second opinion for surgery. This request was submitted nearly 2 months ago.
This delay has caused physical and mental pain.

Dr. Mochela is terrific. She is extremely knowledgeable, friendly and easy going. She listens to all of my concerns/questions and truly cares about my well being. Unlike some other doctors, Dr. Mocherla does not keep you waiting, whether in person or via tele conferencing. I wish I could make her my primary physician.

ZERO RATINGS!! I've been a patient with Dr.M 6 months or so. I feel that this doctor has worked against me from the beginning. I've been diagnosed with neuroendocrine carcinoma(6.5yrs ago) and crohns disease(25 yrs ago). Back in May I described severe pain on my left side. Ask to see my Surgeon. Dr.M
said, Netspot(Dotatate) and let's see the results first. I called to request a Chromogranin A test with the Netspot. She said, NO! You had one 2 months ago. These numbers are very important to monitor when a possible tumor is present to see if they are higher.. Went into hear the result of the Netspot. Dr. M said, there is a small tumor but not enough to call the Surgeon and plus.. ITS ALOT OF PAPERWORK! She chalked this up like it was a Zit!!! I've kindly requested the Surgeon 3 times and many times the CgA bloodwork. After I left her office I called my GI and got an appointment with Dr.N. A week later I'm in her office asking for her help. She took it from there. Ran a CT and a colonoscopy. Results were all in. Dr.N did ALL the paperwork to see the Surgeon. 2 days later I had a call from the Surgeon's assistant with a appointment within a week. Yesterday was the appointment. And now I have a 'Mass' on my painful left side. I'm meeting with a Specialist with Surgeon for a upcoming Surgery! This was negligent to the fullest!! And on top of all that she was pushing hard for me to take a shot once a month. That would do more damage than good! Same with Dr. Hiles.

Update:
A month ago I put a transfer in for a new Oncologist . I received a call from a young women that notified me Dr. Yates was not taking new patients on. Her voice was an uncomfortable tone. I knew that was not true. I called back and I called it! They are taking new patients. So I want to thank Dr. M for smearing my name for telling the truth! This really sums up what kind of doctor you are! At some point I will need an Oncologist. For now my GI is caring and compassionate provider. Nothing Dr. M would know about.

For the first time since my family is in Las Vegas,we find the right person in Dr.Mocherla.She spend an hour listening the canser history of my mom and she really want to find the best way for threatment,she want to try everything to safe her life! I wish all of the doctors to be like her! She is an amazing person,trust her!
