Dr Romero performed a reverse shoulder replacement on me after I fell and fractured my shoulder. My recovery was as problem free as it could be. After 6 months I am back to normal. I have my range of motion back. I highly recommend him.

When my wife broke her shoulder, we were referred to Dr Romero. Thank God. He performed a reverse shoulder replacement. The surgery and recovery were without incident. With physical therapy, after 6 months, my wife has regained almost all of her motion back. He was able to help my wife keep her high quality of life. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr Romero.

My 73-year-old mother fell and severely broke her arm and dislocated her elbow. She was taken to a hospital in Henderson and was there for over five days suffering. The hospital system did not have an orthopedic surgeon capable of performing the complicated surgery that she required. I was referred to Dr. Brandon Romero with UMC Orthopedic and Spine by several healthcare professionals stating he was one of the best to perform the surgery. I rushed to his clinic at the Charleston location. As I walked into the clinic, I was greeted with a smile by Angela and even though she was very busy Angela took the time out and approached me and asked if she could help. She took the time to truly listen to my mother’s situation, and although he did not have an appointment for two months, she was able to help me schedule an appointment for the very next day. I had the hospital discharge my mother and I took her to Dr. Romero and he took the steps going far and beyond to make sure my mother has surgery the very next day. He and his team did an amazing job on my mother’s arm and have been there the entire way to answer any questions and support her pathway to recovery. Dr. Romero It’s not only very professional and knowledgeable, but he is a very kind and caring doctor. His entire clinic is amazing and they go far beyond to care for their patients!!! Thank you so much Dr. Romero for helping my mother!!! She is doing much better thanks to you and your staff. If you are ever in a need of a orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Romero is the one to see. Dr. Romero is an excellent doctor. He immediately saw my mother when she had an infected shoulder from a previous shoulder replacement. She ended up with a spacer once the infected hardware was removed. She now has good range of motion considering she doesn’t have a complete shoulder joint due to the spacer. Dr. Romero takes the time to explain everything thoroughly and insure she completely understands the problem and the steps she has to take to improve her condition. If she could give him 6 stars she would.

Dr. Romero has been amazing from day one! I wish I went to him when I first dislocated my elbow, but grateful the other orthopedic specialist referred me to him. I almost cried when he said I didn’t need surgery. He’s very passionate and listens to your needs. Honestly wish he could be my PCP.

Dr Romero is one of the best doctors I've ever had to take care of me he took the time to explain everything before surgery and after surgery every time I have been in to see him he's gone over my X-rays showed me exactly what is going on and has given me great advice. People forget that someone that’s 73 worked since they were 14 is in the shape they are in from hard work, not just an invisible not relevant person.
He listened to me, answered all my questions and suggested my best course of action.
If I could give him 10 stars I would. Because he deserved it.

Dr. Romero is the absolute BEST orthopedic surgeon. In a time when I'm supposed to be living my best life. My children are grown and doing their own things . How about I was living my worst life ever, having the worst pain I've ever felt for almost 2 yrs. In my right shoulder .It was making my life miserable . a complete tear in my biceps.i had rotator cuff atrophy so severe i had to have a complete shoulder replacement . I will couldn't sleep because of pain, couldn't participate in many things because of pain , couldn't hardly think because of pain. But I did do a lot of praying, and those prayers were answered with Dr. Romero, because I knew I was going to have to have someone that was going to have to have lots of care and compassion for their patients. Everytime I saw him leading up to the surgery he told me what he was going to do to me and how . That made a big difference with me having had a bad experience per a surgery before. With each of those tellings he made me feel more comfortable in having the surgery each time. And his confidence shines all over him which gave confidence in knowing that he was the right person to do the surgery and it would be sussessful. I'm still in therapy but I am completely satisfied with the outcome this for. I THANK YOU DR. ROMERO FOR YOU HAVE GIVEN ME MY SMILE BACK, ,AND I BELIEVE EXTENDED CERTAIN PARTS OF MY LIFE. I absolutely love love love love 1000 times love Dr. Romero… He has literally made my life a lot better because of this excruciating shoulder pain that I’ve been having for years… I have gone to countless doctors and they’ve all told me it was growing pains, or does that in the other, but he actually took the time and listen to my concerns And walk through every possible thing I could do before even considering surgery and I have to say I will never ever ever find another doctor like him… Thank you Dr. Romero for being such a great doctor not to mention he is very easy on the eyes ☺️🤣
