From the start: wait time was an hour, then an hour for the actual check up. The wait was so unexpectedly long that I actually had to reschedule my appointment (deep cleaning) for a later time.
During that first visit, I did all the normal prep like x rays, and the doc gave me a list procedures that I should consider for the actual appt. But when I came back the second time around, none of that stuff was even mentioned. It led me to believe none of those things were actually necessary, just a way to drive up the cost.
Once I got into the appt, they kept trying to upsell me on random products (one of them was a random mouth wash??). If that wasn’t enough, I was charged twice WHILE I was in the chair. They literally brought the card reader to me to ring me up mid-appointment. I had never had that happen before and was kinda stunned.
Overall, one of the worst experiences I’ve had so far at a dentist. Super put off by the extra charges (they take my insurance) and afterwards I was billed almost $300 extra a couple months later. The whole billing process just felt super unusual and unprofessional. They just want your money, do not come here.

This has been a nightmare of an experience. It almost feels evil. I came to this place last year in dire need of help. To make a long story short: I was in bad shape. I survived a violent encounter which left me with broken teethe and bad vision. I had to flee the situation I was in and ended up homeless living out of my truck with my cat.

All of my front top teeth were broken, I went in to see what I could do I was living in pain. So here I am homeless, sick, enemic. December 2025, They lied to me what seems like every step of the process, even as far as pain and recovery.
They said the only way they could fix the front 6 is by pulling all my teethe and giving me a denture. THEY PULLED ALL OF MY TOP TEETHE. All of them. EXCEPT 1. And then said they couldn’t pull it. So I was sent on a wild goose chase to specialists that were impossible to schedule with. All while they tell me it’s my fault things arent getting done. I continue to lose weight, be denied jobs, be denied love or companionship, people look at me crazy. I’m sick and I have no teeth. It’s been so long now.

I’m begging for help. Ive tried many times to express my concerns and today I raised my voice in the office and I wish I didn’t. I STILL HAVE NO TEETH. I’m not sure what I’m going to do anymore. I seriously need some help. I can’t live like this. If you’re reading this stay away from this place, and please keep me in your prayers. God Bless You.

Dr. Lubna Anwar is amazing! My teeth have never looked this good since I started coming here. She's my first dentist, and I was nervous about not having a great experience, but her professionalism and amazing attitude to make sure I'm comfortable is great. I had a consultation with Dr.Lubna Anwar and she made it seem like implants were my only option. She tried to use her title as a tool to make me feel like I had to get implants. She used words like "implants are the best option" (opinion not a fact) . I needed 4 implants according to her, the whole time she sounded frustrated that I wasn't getting them done(body languageand voice). I thought about it and got a partial somewhere else. I'm very happy I didn't listen to her advice. I saved a lot of money, it was painless and I loved them.

I don’t usually write reviews, but I really felt the need to after my experience at Care For Your Dental. I came in needing a root canal and a crown, and I was honestly worried about the pain and the whole process. But the care I received here completely changed how I feel about dental work.

The doctor was incredibly gentle and patient, and took the time to explain everything in a way that made me feel comfortable. The root canal itself was surprisingly painless, and they constantly checked on me to make sure I was okay. The crown work was done with so much attention to detail—when everything was finished, it felt natural and looked perfect.

What stood out the most was how genuinely kind everyone was. The staff didn’t rush me, they answered every question, and they treated me like a person, not just another appointment. It’s rare to find that level of honesty and care.

I’m truly grateful for the work they did and the way they treated me throughout the whole process. If you’re anxious about dental procedures or just want a place that truly cares, I highly recommend them.

Horrible!!
I was said to need a deep clean but i brush everyday.... the worst thing is that the Doctor telling me I needed the work smelled bad herself. Talk about irony....I just thought I would share this because I went somewhere else and I needed a regular cleaning.
Good luck to everyone working here because what I heard from the staff durring my visit is that no one is happy working there and no one seems to know what they are doing. Sorry I had too...... I was hessitant after my visit acouple of weeks ago of posting this but people should know. Not a good place :(

Dr. Anwar and her assistant Shirley are truly wonderful. I have major anxiety when visiting a dentist which these two have helped me to get through. I feel like they genuinely care and take great pride in the work performed. If I even start to feel anything being done Dr. is quick to act making sure to keep me well numbed. Hear me out. Went in to become established. Walked out "needing" a Root Canal, 4 Crowns with 4 cavities to be filled and a host of other stuff. Went to 3 other different Dental Facilities and all 3 deemed Care For You Dental's diagnosis and action plan as incorrect and unecessary. On your first visit, they will try to strong arm you into cleanings and exams of all sort while front desk quickly checks your insurance allowance balance to see what they can get. Then comes the persistent phone calls and text messages to get you to have the work done. I could go on and on, but you get the picture. Critical thinking skills are a must when visiting this place. Best dentist ever! Everyone in this group is fantastic!

Because of previous bad experiences, I suffered for years needing dental work before finally taking a chance on Care For You Dental. My fear of another bad outcome actually led to me crying in the office; but the doctor and staff members all took time to reassure me that they would take care of me, and they have.

There was an initial delay in treatment, because the doctor identified a general health concern that she felt needed to be addressed before continuing with dental work. While I hated the delay, I was really appreciative that they were actually looking out for my overall health and not just my teeth.

In the end, their name says it all. At Care For You Dental, they truly care, and it shows from the moment you walk in the door. And now that everything is done, I couldn't be happier!

Over all it was very good experience. My teeth are in horrible condition. Had gum infection. Went to my regular doctor, he put me on antibiotics, no relief. Had to run ER because of sever gum pain but nothing. They were dealing with more serious patients.
Then visited a dentist on Fort Apache, they had their own way of doing business and super expensive. Came back home in severe pain. Finally found this dental office. They took me in one day earlier than my appoint date because I was in pain for the lase one week. Dr. Luba, very professional. She figured out very quickly that why the patient in so much pain and within 15 minutes I wan on the bed where two people started procedure. It was very difficult not only for me, also for the doctor and the assistant because infection was all over my gum, actually in the deep areas. It took about under 2 hours to complete the procedure and my pain level started going down. Now I have completed antibiotics prescribed by her and I am in excellent condition. Now I am taking son and wife both to her for check up.
It is hard to find honest people. They are honest and hard working people. I am small business owner and 20+ years in this city. Will tell every one about this place, this the place to go. Support honest people.

I have had a terrible experience with this office. There was a lot of back-and-forth issues with pricing and really painful treatment. Irene the office manager does not recall any conversations she had previously with me and I ended up being charged way more than I was supposed to. I just didn’t feel taken care of and I felt like they were just trying to get more money out of me, especially after I was told it was going to be waived. Hopefully they can do better so more people don’t suffer like I did. Really bad experience.

My husband and I stopped going to this dentist because our teeth would be in more pain AFTER our visit. We switched to a new dentist and that's when we learned we both had both procedures that were incorrectly done. My filling was done WRONG, I have to get an inlay now to fix the problem.
They diagnosed my husband with periodontal disease and required him to come in every 4 months for deep cleanings that we had to payout of pocket. We learned from the new dentist, he does NOT have periodontal disease... How come for almost a year, he was being treated for a disease he didn't have? His wisdom tooth was also chipped in the process of one his deep cleanings

Been coming to CYD for over a year now & I'm absolutely grateful for finding this place, always such wonderful service from the front desk, to dental assistant's, & of course Dr.Lubna Anwar.
Dr. Anwar is always so kind and very knowledgeable, I've gotten two Bridges, multiple crowns done by her and I appreciate how well done her work is. I'm one who isn't a fan of getting dental work done and Dr. Anwar is always so patient with me and keeps me aware of the steps she is taking.

Felt more judgement than concern from the doctor regarding my dental emergency.

Had a tooth in poor shape crack and a loose piece on that tooth and I was concerned about getting an infection if it stayed in there and food gets trapped. Was brushed off and sent away with a prescription for antibiotics and a “shoulda done it sooner” “Its not gonna get any better if we do anything today” type of response from the doctor.

To add more context, I had an exam done back in November by Dr Lubna Anwar and she was terribly rough with my teeth/gums, as well as my absessed tooth, after told her it was very sensitive. I went in that day for antibiotics for a tooth infection and left in extreme pain that lasted over a week after the exam. This was my first and last visit to this office until the time this review was written.

After this I felt very uncomfortable setting a follow-up appointment here at this practice.

All of the rest of the staff I interacted with seemed very friendly, helpful, and professional but I can’t help but feeling that the doctor was shaming me and giving off an awful and condescending negative attitude towards me as patient.

She also kept trying to recommend bridges everywhere there was an issue which wouldn’t work at all for me because I need a lot of individual tooth work done.

Its should always be a red flag when you make your patients feel uncomfortable and lose doctor/patient trust after the first visit..

Would not recommend this place!! The male dentist here is not friendly and seems to not like his job (I work with doctors on a day to day basis and can tell this doctor did not want to be there). This place just wants your money and does not care about your well being. I went here last month and got told I have 10 cavities and need 3 fillings. This was very abnormal to me because I have never needed that much work before as I take good care of my teeth. I think they may have been trying to take advantage of me because I am young. I got quoted $2500 for the work I needed done at this office.

I just got a second opinion and my new dentist told me I don’t need any work done! He told me I have maybe one small cavity but it doesn’t even need a filling. How I went from having 10 cavities to 1 is insane and tells me all I need to know about this office. If I wouldn’t have gotten a second opinion, I would have believed this guy and paid $2500 for unnecessary dental work. Very ridiculous. This office seems to be all about the money and the dentist will do anything to take more money from you (even lie or be aggressive with his treatment plans). This office is the worst dentist I have ever been to and would recommend everyone to stay away from this place and the male dentist!!

First I need to admit that the dental office is not my favorite place to go. When I arrive at Care For You Dental, they do just that! If I could give 0 stars I would! My initial appointment(May 20th) went well but after that nothing good has come from this office! I was told I needed $7000 in dental work from them. They gave me a paper with prices and also prices if I bought their in office dental plan. One of the things I needed done was a root canal and crown. I decided to just have that tooth pulled to cut down on the cost. I asked them to send the referral in to my insurance to cover the extraction since that's the only thing my insurance will cover. 2 weeks later they sent a referral for a root canal instead of the extraction. After a month of trying to call them and leaving a message they finally answered their phone. She once again put a referral in for the extraction. The soonest apt I could get was July 9th. Here we are June 23rd and I'm in so much pain. I called and asked that they send in a prescription for an antibiotic because I believe my tooth is getting infected. Waited over 2 hrs and they still didn't send it in. I call back and they said the Dr will send it now. We will see but I doubt it! I will be changing dentist asap! Let me add that when I went in in May the Dr was aware that I was already experiencing pain and that's when he said it's probably because I need the root canal. I've never experienced a dentist that allows their patients to be in pain and just allows the pain to get worse!

This place is a must go to! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! The reviews are good and true. I am a very anxious person when it comes to dentists and they make you feel comfortable from the front desk all the way to the doctors chair. Receptionist is super nice and easy to talk to as well as Doctor Lubna Anwar. They tell you everything upfront and set up a dental plan for what needs to get done. I had a cracked tooth on a filling and needed it fixed fast, they had me fixed within a few weeks (due to a crown). The whole time I was able to wear headphones and if I felt and discomfort I was able to raise a hand and they would stop to help fox or alleviate any problems.

Going to the dentist is never fun but Dr. Anwar made my visit as pleasant as a dentist visit can be! She is very professional, experienced, friendly and obviously very skilled . She did 7 tooth fillings for me in one visit (!) As scary as that may sound, Dr. Anwar assured me it would not be that bad, and sure enough, she and her assistant completed the work very skillfully and painlessly in less than 2 hours. I'm very happy with the quality of work done and super impressed with their efficiency.
Leslie at the front desk is also very friendly and helpful. Pricing is very fair as well.
I'm very happy to now have a primary dentist who I'm totally comfortable with and I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Anwar to my friends and family!

Amazing experience! My mom started going to Dr. Lubna Anwar for her cleanings and dental work and recently I had the pleasure of being Dr. Anwar's patient as well since my wisdom teeth were hurting during this COVID thing. She was super accomodating and made sure I was taken care of ASAP. I had an x-ray done and it was determined by Dr. Anwar that my wisdom teeth had to be removed as they had become decayed and cavitated. She quickly had me referred to an excellent oral surgeon (Dr. Steve Huang) who she works with and he removed my wisdom teeth so quickly I couldn't even tell. Definitely recommend Dr. Lubna Anwar and her practice. She clearly knows what needs to be done and makes it easy for the patient to understand. Her staff is awesome too. Leslie is great and took our temperatures as we entered. There is a huge importance given to health and safety, all chairs were spaced apart due to COVID and I felt comfortable the second I walked in. Definitely recommend Care For You Dental and Dr. Anwar is now my primary dentist!

I would highly recommend Care For You Dental, Dr. Anwar was very gentle and detailed about my treatment. Her Dental assistant Leslie was great as well, they both made me laugh and feel comfortable since I was a bit nervous about getting numb. At the end my whole experience was great ! I’ve never been to a dentist we’re they actually take close up pictures of your teeth to show you and that’s super helpful . Dr. Anwar was gentle and super nice . And her assistant Leslie did a great job with the x-ray and explaining and showing me around the office. Greatest experience I’ve had from other dentist I’ve been too . I’ll forsure keep going here

Care for you Dental is a innovative new located facility that welcomes you with warm professional staff that will genuinely help your concerns and exceed expectations. The office is tidy, neat and new. Dr. Anwar helped me with my concerns maintaining a positive and honest opinion. We were able to come up with a plan to help better my smile overall. I can’t stop raving about my new smile. My procedure was veneers and I now have a healthy, strong, beautiful smile thanks to the excellent help of Dr. Anwar. We were recommended to Dr. Lubna Anwar for a second opinion. She has an excellent calm manner and was detailed in her explanations as to a treatment plan. She uses x-rays and an inter-oral camera, so you see exactly what the teeth look like. These photos can also be sent to your insurance company.

Just done my deep cleaning an hour ago, it was my first time to try their services, and I must say Dr Anwar exceeded my expectations. She is very good and very gentle. To be honest I dread going to the dentists but thanks to her she removed that fear. Her staff are so friendly and helpful. My experience with Care for You Dental and Dr Anwar was such a refreshing change from my previous dentist. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing. The office staff is pleasant and always greets you with a smile. I had to change my appointment at the last minute and the staff was very helpful and worked around my schedule so that I could still finish my treatment before my trip to Mexico.The feel of the whole office is really nice with the most recent and up to date equipment. Dr Anwar herself is always happy to see me and even remembered our previous conversations. She takes her time to explain everything and doesn't rush you into making a decision. Now, after having completed my treatment plan- I am extremely pleased with the results.I can't thank Dr Anwar enough for doing such an excellent job and making my dentist experience so pleasant. I only write reviews if my experience has been extraordinary; Bad or good. In this case I’m pleased to say, it was the latter! I have always had a fear of dentists and avoid them as much as I can. I think that may have changed and Dr. Anwar at Care for You Dental has a lot to do with it. For that I am very grateful.
This is a new practice so I was skeptical at first, but am so glad I opted to try it.
Right from the start, I felt welcomed, it’s a neat, beautiful office and the staff is very friendly. In minutes they had me checked in and helped me with my insurance setup(it changed recently). I was very relieved since patient setup at first appointments can be so time consuming!
While the administrative part was quick, the dentist on the other hand took her time examining my teeth. She was super thorough, asked me questions about my history and took the time to understand my specific problems and developed a treatment which we discussed at length. I was very impressed with her patience, skill and expertise as I’ve seen dentists who aren’t as thorough!
It seems to be a state of the art practice, with all the latest equipment. Not only do they take X-rays but photographs of your mouth as well. It was very helpful for me get a better read of the problem.
Needless to say, I’ll be coming back to Dr. Lubna Anwar for all my dental needs. She does a stellar job and I would highly recommend them for all those who want a gentle, patient and thorough dentist and just an overall five star experience!

During my first visit, Dr. Lubna Anwar worked with me on a dental plan to help me achieve a smile that I've always wanted.
