Our son has been going to Children’s Heart Center for over 14 years and we have always received the best treatment! We are especially grateful for Kory and Maria in the lab. We go to the lab often (sometimes 3-4 times a month) to check my son’s blood levels. Kory has been with us from the very beginning and has always been friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable to ensure our son receives the best care. We moved out of Vegas for a couple of years and she kept in touch with us to make sure our son’s blood work was still being done and his levels were still within range. Upon our return we met Maria and she immediately jumped right in by providing quality care with kindness and compassion.
We are so grateful for both Kory and Maria as they always go above and beyond to care for our son! Their kindness, support, knowledge, and overall quality care are top notch! They truly are the best to work with and make our lab visits a breeze! It’s like visiting with family each time we are there!

I’ve been bringing my son to this office for 16 years, and our experience has always been exceptional. However, I’d like to specifically highlight the outstanding care we’ve received recently from Kory and Maria in the lab. After my son’s open-heart surgery this summer, we had to adjust to frequent lab work, something we hadn’t experienced before. From day one, Kory and Maria have made this transition incredibly smooth and manageable.

Scheduling appointments has always been straightforward, with flexible options to fit our busy lives. The reporting of results is fast, clear, and thorough, ensuring we’re never left wondering about the next steps. Additionally, they’ve been extremely responsive in returning phone calls and answering any questions we’ve had.

Kory and Maria have gone above and beyond to ensure our son’s needs are met. They’ve taken the time to walk us through every detail in a way that makes us feel both informed and confident as we navigate these changes. Their compassion and attention to detail have made what could have been a challenging adjustment much easier to handle.

I am incredibly grateful for their support, as well as the support from the entire team at this office. They’ve made a profound difference in our lives, and we know we are in good hands for the long road ahead. My son had an appointment at the beginning of July and I've been expecting to get a call from CT scan because we were referred to get a CT scan. One month later I still didn't get a call, I called the Sunrise for CT scan and said that there's no referral for my son. I called their office again and said that they will just now refer/protocol my son then will call me back the same day. I waited and didn't get a call back. One week later, I called their office again and they finally took care of my son's protocol for his CT scan.

Finally got an appointment! They called me and canceled my son's CT scan because there's no referral for my son for their office. They claimed that they called and said there's no referral for my son. So I called my insurance and they said there's one since the beginning of July. Lizette said that she called my insurance prior to calling but I don't know where is the disconnect in this situation.

Now my son's CT scan is getting delayed from July until September because of their lack of attention to details.

The cardiologist is great and nice.

My son has been going to children’s heart center since he was two weeks old. He was born with a VSD and had open heart surgery for repair when he was 1. I’ve never ever had a bad experience with his doctors or the nurses here. Everyone I’ve dealt with up to today has been amazing and very sweet. We see Dr.Castillo, hes been great since day 1!
I received a call to schedule his yearly check up. The reason for my low review is because when I called back today, I was put through to some lady named Rosie. It was a horrible experience from the moment she answered! I’ve never dealt with someone so rude. She seemed very bothered that I was asking for Dr.Castillos availability on certain days. After telling her that she was being rude, all she responded with was “No! I’m not.” I scheduled my appointment and went on my way. There’s a certain way to talk to patients and this was not it.

My Son has been going to the Children's Heart Center for 20 years due to being born with a heart condition. All the staff is great but I am specifically writing this review for Corey and Maria in the Lab. These two always go above and beyond to help us and to make sure my son was always comfortable. We talk to them on a monthly basis because he has to check his blood and both Corey and Maria are always a delight to work with.
