I had a very successful hip replacement surgery.
Dr. Hansen in my opinion is one the best surgeon's.
He is professional and also very compassionate.
Dr. Hansen listens to what is going on with you.
I had been in excruciating pain for 2 years.
I am 4 weeks out from my surgery and having a little stiffness but hardly any pain. I am healing very well.
Dr. Hanson is awesome.

I went into Dr. Hansen's office last week for X-Rays and input on a Hip Replacement. I had completed lots of research about the Surgery and Dr. Hansen.

After my X-Rays he explained that a Hip Replacement was his opinion. I didn't hesitate for a moment based on his clinic, his staff and experience/manner.

I immediately felt I was in good hands and look forward to the Surgery and getting back to 💯 percent..I will update again later however I have complete confidence in he and his team.

I endured pain in my hips for years before meeting Dr. Hanson. He was transparent and forthcoming about the hip replacement surgery, and, in the end, I decided to face the risks because I could no longer endure the pain and limitations on my life.

My outcome was remarkable as I was walking without the aid of a walker in a week's time. I did not have to sleep with a special pillow or schedule hours of physical therapy. This was because of the less invasive anterior approach but also because I went into the surgery with a lot of muscle strength. I understand that my results are unique.

Dr. Hanson was a very collaborative surgeon and responded to all my questions and concerns with care, patience and consideration.

I'm 8-weeks post my second hip replacement surgery and I am 100% pain free. I'm back at the gym and slowing working to build my leg muscle strength again. I can't believe I waited so long to make this positive change in my life and I will be eternally thankful to Dr. Hanson and his team.

Being a skeptical person, I researched surgeons to perform my Total Hip Replacement surgery, that I knew would probably be more complicated than average, since I had waited so long. I met with 4 different surgeons prior and wasn't too
impressed, until I read about Dr. Ben Hanson, then met and liked his knowlege and confidence, then surgery I felt in good hands, and was a success ! I believe Dr. Hansen is the best for Total Hip Replacements. I highly recommend him. Thanks again Dr. Hansen.

A true professional is an understatement to describe this surgeon. I would more accurately describe Dr. Ben Hansen as a miracle performer, as he brought back my life-long partner, who was essentially bedridden because of an untreated fracture years ago, caused joint necrosis, and within 8 years, never seeking medical help, a bazaar healing progressed, in which his femur bone had been fusing to his hip bone leaving an unimaginable nightmare to fix.
Dr. Hansen took this on, as the confident champ he is, and of course, this surgery was a success! The hardest part is passed us now, and we can now focus only on the rehab and recovery. I feel very fortunate to have had Dr. Hansen do this Advanced Total Hip Replacement surgery. You are in good hands, when have Dr. Benjamin Hasen do your hip replacement surgery.

Dr. Hansen is amazing. I found myself at the age of 53 needing two hip replacements and losing my mobility rapidly which was just devastating. Fear kept me from scheduling but finally the pain outweighed the fear and I found Dr. Hansen. All I can say is thank you!! He was able to perform both surgeries within eight months and it has been life changing. I am now 6 weeks post op from my second surgery and starting to feel like my old self! I no longer dread walking and can't wait to get back on my bike. He is so professional and compassionate and really seems to care about the difference he is making in his patient's lives. I can't say enough good things about him. Thank you Dr. Hansen for giving me my life back.

Dr Hansen is awesome! When I first came to him I had an infection in my prosthetic knee. I just couldn't barely walk on it and didn't know what was wrong. He found infection. He had to take my knee out till infection was completely gone then put a new knee back in. Great job. Pain was minimal. Thank you Dr Hansen for an excellent job also how kind you are.

At the age of 76, on November 15, 2022 I had a total left knee replacement surgery performed by Dr. Ben Hanson. On January 5th 2023, just 7 weeks from the date of the surgery I had my final follow-up appointment with Dr. Hanson and was given the green light to resume my passion of playing golf. Needless to say, I am a raving fan of Dr. Hanson.

In all of my visits with him both pre-op, the day of the surgery both before and after, and my 3 post-op appointments, Dr. Hanson was extremely straight forward with providing information concerning where I stood. More importantly he was confident in his ability and provided me with the confidence to feel really good about having a successful outcome.

The written information provided answered every possible question I had in how to prepare for the operation, deal with post surgery pain and recovery and complete information on resources available for any problems I might encounter.

I hope this is my last major orthopedic surgery, but if I am ever in need of another surgery within Dr. Hanson's expertise, he would be the only surgeon I would consider.

I waited weeks for this appointment! Only to be told that my hip is not messed up enough for a replacement and he does not do the repair( which I did not want) and even if my hip was messed up enough for a replacement he wouldn’t do the surgery because of my bmi!
I wouldn’t recommend! Exspecialy if you’re overweight!

Do not see this doctor. No one from his office returns calls. It has been 2 mths since my visit and they do not provide my pharmacy with the proper information so they can determine if I can have a gel injection or not. I tried to talk to the doctor after waiting 2 mths and they will not allow me to speak to him.
